About Wyldercat

Hey, I'm Saturn. I'm a 16 year old butch. I originally joined the game around early 2014 before getting to make my own account later in the year. I love cats, dogs, hyenas, birds, reptiles, bugs (although I'm still scared to death of them but they're pretty cool), and most animals, actually, but especially those ones. I'm a huge nerd, I think I mentioned that already but, yeah. I'm a huge dork for Dungeons and Dragons, I've got a whole mini desk for my rule books and dice and stuff but have only actually played like twice. Probably because most of my friends are normal people but oh well. I also love music and art. Not super great at either of those things, but I hope to practice and improve.

The Forest of the Forgotten




We are all here for a reason. Exiled. Abandoned. Lost. We are all drawn here by a purpose. Closure. Repentance. Vengeance. In these strange woods, we roam as we please without disturbance or fear of the cruel eyes of our packs or humans. A perfect domain for poor souls like us, so perfect that escape is impossible.


General Information
The Forest of the Forgotten is a place of unity for those who are divided. Exiled pack members, lost dogs, driven off coyotes and foxes; they all are drawn to these strange woods and can thrive on their own accounts. However, something evil is lurking behind all of this. Once entering the strange misty woods, none can leave. From the outside, this forest is not even known to exist. A mirage created by the great power behind it all. Perhaps some dark energy luring lost souls to corrupt. Perhaps an occult force luring potential servant. Perhaps some lonely spirit manipulating the world to bring fellow outcasts together. Whatever the case, the canines in this roleplay will connect over this strange entity in their travels. Fine details are still in the planning, but we hope to recruit at least 3 or 4 people before we begin. There will be a plot, although it will be introduced in heavier detail as characters and player structures emerge and it is called for in terms of development. For the most part, individual plots and arcs are completely freeform so there is no strict plot they must stick to.


Rules
1. No powerplaying or godmodding.
2. Be respectful. And please no OOC drama or conflicts. If you want to play a jerk character that is completely fine, just keep it confined to the roleplay, please.
3. This is a semi realistic roleplay, however, the entity of the forest is the only true fantasy element. Please no unnatural physical traits or powers for individual characters.
4. This is a more mature roleplay, so gore and swearing are allowed (in moderation), but please keep any nsfw material to spoilers or private message (and please keep it consensual no one wants random dog naughties sent to them out of nowhere.)
5. Put "waf waf" at the end of your application if you have read and will follow these rules.
6. Have fun! This is meant to be a loose, long term story so feel free to take time developing your characters and establishing relationships and traits.

There's been a lot of threads about music here, but it's mostly been bands and personal significance.

So to bring something fresh to the table, who's your favorite vocalist/what type of voice do you like to listen to?


For me personally, I love deeper voices from men and women alike, but I can appreciate most singing voices. Some of my favorite individual voices include Beyonce, Jehnny Beth (Savages), and Avi Kaplan (Pentatonix/Avriel and the Sequoias).

Hello all and welcome to my art thread! As a beginner art student and wannabe digital artist, I thought I'd make a new thread to show off some of my drawings.

Some of these are pretty messy and also sorry for the ugly white backgrounds, I took these straight off of tumblr without the transparency.

An older piece (via my old url watermark) but I still like how it turned out.

Every map has a unique biome, terrain and ambiance; all suited for different types of creatures to inhabit them.

So what types of rps do you notice in each of the maps?

I personally see mostly wolf packs in Chekira, lion prides in kiwimbi and the grounds, warrior cats in seaside, more wolves and warriors in eastern pass, variety in Bonfire and unfortunately, not much activity in Zama. Not a lot of fish fans, I guess.

Woah, it's been a while. This game still around? Either way I'm coming back. Hopefully for more than a month this time.

Awkward intro aside, hello! I'm Buffy and I'm just some nerdy nb teen artsy mess. I recently changed my username, but if anyone remembers TwistedLizard, that's me! Probably not something to be proud of I was pretty edgy on that account but no matter. New name, new slate, kinda. Hopefully. Wow.

Anyways, for those who don't know me or haven't kept in touch with my updated information I'm Buffy/Wylder, whatever pronouns you wanna use, I draw stuff, animate and play games. If anyone wants to hit me up with some common interests I'm hella into Dungeons and Dragons, Overwatch, League of Legends (aka salt), weird/creepy animals, cartoons, and the oxford comma. Mako's probably my main character, and I may not go in game so much as I used to, but if you run into me feel free to stop and say hey!

In terms of casual talk among strangers, advertisements, meeting new buds and an overall pleasant hangout, the Grounds has become the new Stone Bridge without a doubt. So in the spirit of the new update beginning to settle better with people, why not share some of our favorite new memories and conversations with friends and strangers since the new update aired? They don't necessarily have to have taken place in the Grounds, but I figure that most interactions certainly stem from the hub.

As for myself, I had a pleasant conversation in Seaside Grove with a strange whale. I was using one of my otter characters to explore when I was approached by a whale. We had a nice chat about the new maps and the kinds of new opportunities for more species to be used. My stories are generally pretty mundane so I won't go too in detail, but I may remember a better one soon.

Greetings, people of the forums. Some of you may remember me, I had left a bit earlier in the year, some of you may not. For those who do not know who I am, name's Scuttle, though I've been known in the past as TwistedLizard. It has been a rather pleasant leave for me, and I've had some time to cope better with my new surroundings and since my life (and internet connection) is more stable now, I'd figure it's about time to return, even if just for a little bit.

Game Discussion / Character Archetypes

No matter how original a character may be, chances are, they suit a certain type of trope or role in a story. This could be a resemblance to an RPG class, token character, epic poems motif or just a fun character type.

For those who don't know, an archetype is a defined "stereotype" of a brand of character. For instance, characters such as Huckleberry Finn and Harry Potter may suit the male adolescent archetype of being particularly curious, troublemaking; yet benevolent young men. Or, the old wise man like Yoda, Gandalf, Master Roshi or Dumbledoor.

Some common general tropes could be The Hero, The Sidekick, The Lover, The Child, The Innocent, The Guardian, The Teacher, The Thief, The Poet, The Twins, The Freaks, etc.

So, do you think any of your characters fit any archetypes or tropes? Which ones? Perhaps they define a totally new personality?

Pip: The mediator, yellow color motif, the innocent, extreme doormat, genius ditz
Lizard: The guardian, dragon, the outlaw
