Waddup, I'm back with some artwork.

Just to give a brief description, I am generally a Disney-style artist. I post my art mainly on DeviantART and FurAffinity, so please feel free to watch me there if you want immediate updates! I'm sure some of you have seen artwork of mine in the past, but when I hit milestones I really enjoy making fresh exhibitions of my most enjoyed and most recent artworks, just like any other artist. I hope you all like what I produce, and I look forward to hearing feedback here!

Please note that I only take constructive criticism, but only when I ask for it. I am an artist who prefers to learn on her own and grow that way.

Introduction / Returning.

Well the last several days sure have been an overwhelming time for everyone now, haven't they.

Before I officially announce my return, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for the emotional roller-coaster that everyone has been going through as of late in regards to the changes Raz has or intends to impliment. I can't imagine the vast number of users in this community that have felt so overwhelmed, scared, and confused by all that's been going on around here in-game and on the form. It's a lot, I know. However, a few days have passed, and even though there's still a lot of activity here and there, a lot of the riot activity has died down drastically, so I feel it's the perfect time to make this kind of post right now.

It's not a very pleasant experience to be having at this moment, and I feel for you all. I understand that Feral Heart is a very important place for the majority of active users who play, including myself, and I have been feeling a lot of what you guys have been feeling. However, some days have passed since chaos reined over Feral Heart, and I want to ask you all to take a moment to clear your heads, take a moment to breathe, just chill for a sec and listen to what I have to say.

A lot of questions and rumours have been going around, and I just want to level with you here and answer some in hopes that it will give users reassurance in this uncomfortable time by answering questions that I of many have personally received, and questions that have been answered before but haven't quite gotten around to everyone yet.

Why has my character been deleted?
Before I answer, this only applies to those who downloaded and installed the WIP patch maps that the former staff had been working on and had released hours before taking their leave. If you are not one of these people, then this isn't for you. Fortunately, some of you will still have your characters if you made your way back to the official maps before changes were made. However, the handful of unlucky users who have characters that were still in the maps will find that yes they have indeed been 'deleted', or more appropriately, temporarily removed. However, I do not think this is any fault of Raz's. This is not something to fret about. Raz has clearly stated to everyone that he will restore the characters once people stop attempting to enter the maps on other characters, increasing an unnecessary workload.

What's going to happen to Feral Heart?
Other than the changes and unpredictability, nothing. Feral Heart isn't going anywhere. It's not going to be sold to anyone, it's not going to be closed down, and it's certainly not the end of the world even though it may feel like it to a lot of you. The only thing that is happening right now is that Feral Heart is going to be going through a daring and risky change that clearly a lot of people are uncomfortable with and uncertain about, which the majority of you (including myself) are very much against considering the lack of information we have been given. Yes, Raz has the 'off switch', however, this isn't something you should all be fearful of.

Was it wrong of me to join in on the riot?
No. Not at all. It's only human for people to want to express how they feel about a situation that they know very little about, especially if the lack of knowledge isn't any fault of their own. When a something comes along that will have a major impact on the 'world' around them, people get scared, people get stressed, people become unsettled, and that is COMPLETELY normal. However, it is an issue if people go around making things a personal matter and throwing unnecessary hate toward a person instead of the problem itself. It's not you vs. him, it's you vs. the problem. Remember that.

Other than those main questions, as of right now I have quite a lot of uncertainties. I am uncertain as to whether or not this whole experiment (or so called 'concept') will work out for good or bad, or if it will make any effect at all in the end. I am uncertain as to whether or not this will just be an experiment, or a permanent deal. The only thing that I AM certain about is that the game will never be the same if this block to ban system carries out. Sure, people will learn to adjust, even if it's unwillingly, but I can't say that I am all that confident in the future of Feral Heart right now with the lack of information that is being provided, or has been provided.

But, if you have any other questions that could be answered to the best of people's knowledge that you think could be added here, please feel free to ask some.

As for where I stand on the situation...

At this point with what has been said already, lot of you may be thinking "amg bawfle y r u taking his side, y r u betraying us, i hate u for this weeehhh". No. I don't take sides. I'm just being reasonable. I'm not some child who feels the need to pick a friend due to some petty fall out between a few. That isn't what's happening here. So please don't corrupt the words I have already spoken. I've known this community too long to know that there will be some people out there who find enjoyment in corrupting and twisting words for their own benefit. I have expressed myself just like anyone else has, but never in the same way as anyone else. I want to make it VERY clear that despite the feelings I have I am not against Raz himself, I just don't approve of the actions made since some days ago, or the way they were presented the way they were.

To go into a little more depth and detail as to what I am personally upset with, I feel like disappearing for a year, being disconnected, then coming back and bringing a 'concept' out of nowhere without consulting or informing the now 'former' staff or even giving proper insight into it was a terrible, terrible mistake. Everyone knows that people here like to be informed, and like to have the knowledge they need to understand what's going on. If not, it leads to well... what happened just recently.

This is just one sure fire way to break the trust of anyone involved with Feral Heart, and not just staff. This is my point. Nothing about the system was brought out to anyone gently at all, or with an appropriate amount of information to avoid such heat. A "this thing is going to be trialled, unsure whether this will be permanent or not" followed by "in case anything goes wrong or if anything is abused, here's this fail-safe to help people who may feel injustice" would have been a much better and suitable approach to all this. That, ladies and gentlemen, is what really doesn't butter my croissant.

Now that I've said what I felt I needed to say and get off my chest, yes, I'm returning to the forum. I've been thinking about it for a little while now, but now just feels like an appropriate time to me.

Leaving / Taking a break.

Long story short, I'm leaving the forum for a bit.

Some of you have noticed that I've been fairly inactive from the forum for quite some time now. Only really hopping on every now and then to see what's new.. which is never really much. Some have been quite curious as to why my activity has slipped exactly.

It's not that I've lost interest in Feral Heart, no.. I've always had a strong hearted passion for this place. I always will. I'm just tired of seeing the same old things every day. Not really seeing much change, not feeling that this old place is going anywhere. At least, there's no clear indication to say that it really is. But I guess if you want to know more in detail, you can read ahead.

A lot of you know that I'm the hard working and devoted type. Always wanting to take a step forward, always trying to provide great ideas, and always stepping in to solve and resolve people's issues. I've always continued to provide and share many things openly and appropriately with you guys on the forum, so everyone could have their say on various topics and really feel the involvement to which I hope serves good purpose for the future. I'm real proud of it. However, all of this hard work and dedication is really wearing me down.

I don't want to leave FH permanently, just where it matters, the most interactive places of FH, which is predominantly here on the Forum. It's where the community truly expose themselves after all. I'm always going to be seen around in-game, as FH has always been the closest thing I have to be with my sweetest more personally. I will most likely be seen on the Forum now and again, but only really to update my Forum Game, and Picarto.TV Stream Ad whenever it's online, in case any users stumble by it and seem interested in watching or keeping me company as I stream.

Art Gallery / How to build your own Art Style

As a lot of people understand, it's always hard to find a method to help guide you down a path to creating and developing your own art style. It's a hard process, and even when you think you've got it... you don't end up liking after a while. This is because you don't actually connect with it personally, but I'm here to help you find out how you can.

Believe me, I've tried creating my own after adopting Disney style. In the end, it proved either too difficult for me to keep up with, or I'd end up disliking everything I made after a while. However, quite recently I stumbled across a blog which really enlightened me, and after reading it I thought how it could enlighten and inspire so many other artists who just want to find their own style to connect with.

"Creativity is taking the same parts and pieces that everyone else has access to, and combining them in ways that no one else has ever thought of. There is nothing magical about developing your own personal art style. Style, like any other element of your artistic process, comes deliberately. It doesn’t need to take years or even months. Style is something you build, and you can build it in a week. Tops." - Christopher Kerry

Just a disclaimer, the steps below were developed and written originally by Christopher Kerry in this blog post. I have merely summarized his steps for better understanding and easy reading.

Step 1: Identify three artists or art styles that really resonate with you emotionally.
To summarize, you need to pick three artists or art styles or objects that you really love. They can be anything or anyone. The artists you choose should not work in a distinctly similar style to each other and the styles you choose should be as different as possible. We are going for variety. The most important part of this step is to choose artists that you really admire and styles that you really enjoy. You really really need to love what you pick, but don’t forget you can only pick three.

Step 2: Choose one image that best represents each of your choices from step one.
Step two is a hard one for a lot of people. What you need to do is choose one painting, drawing or photo that best represents your choices from step one. For example, let’s say you choose and artist. You would choose your very favorite piece from that artist. Or let’s say you chose Anime. Choose your favorite Anime drawing of all time.

No cheating, you can only pick one image for each artist or artistic style or 3D object. So take some time with this step and choose images that you really love, images you would hang in your house, images you would actually buy.

Step 3: Analyze each of the images you chose in step two.
Step three is the hardest part, the part most people don’t spend enough time on. It’s also the most important part, so please take the time to do it right. You need to really study each image you chose. Have a pen and paper handy so you can write down your observations. For each image that you chose there is one major artistic element that really makes that image amazing, one something that made it stand out to you over all the rest. Find that. Analyze it. Write it down.

Ask yourself WHAT grabs your attention first. That’s the thing you’re after. Next, ask yourself WHY that particular thing grabs your attention over everything else in the drawing. Now ask yourself HOW that particular thing was used in the drawing. There are no wrong observations. The only way to mess this up is to make too few observations.

Maybe it’s not the figure that interests you, maybe you find it’s the color that really stands out to you. What is it about the color that caught your eye? Are all the colors bright and vivid or are they dull and muted? Maybe there’s a combination of both. If there is a combination of both, are the bright vivid colors near or surrounding the main subject matter? Or are all the bright colors in the main subject matter and all the surrounding colors dull and muted? Did the artist use lots of different colors or are the colors mostly in the same color family? It’s things like this that you really want to know.

You should write at least a good-sized paragraph for each image describing the one artistic element in that image that makes it special for you. Ask yourself... What is it about this piece that caught my eye? What one special style in this piece stands out to me enough that I could write about it? It’s things like this that you really want to know.

Step 4: Combine each of the individual artistic elements you identified in step three into an original drawing of your own.
This is the step where Christopher Kerry's definition of creativity comes into service. In this step you combine the elements you chose so carefully in step three into an original drawing of your own. To be clear, here you are not combining the subject matter from the images you choose, you are combining the artistic elements you identified into a subject matter of your own. The subject matter for this new drawing should be the subject matter that you draw most often. It should be the subject that you love to draw most.

I hope fellow artists and newbie artists enjoy this great piece of hunka-hunka enlightenment. I cannot wait to try my hands at these steps in hopes to connect with an art style to call my own. Even if it doesn't work out for me, I imagine it will work out for others who struggle to connect with their own art.

Forum Suggestions & Ideas / A new sub-board addition?

Overall idea: Adding a Other Games Screenshots sub-board, to the sub-board Other Games.

I just wanted other people's input on this idea. It's pretty much a slight request and heavy suggestion to add and create a sub-board that people can host their in-game screenshots on from none Feral Heart related games, for the current sub-board Other Games. Now, I know people will probably bring up that this may not be an ideal spot, as the link of the board in general pretty much goes Off Topic >> Discussion >> Other Games, and as we all know, showing off screenshot gallery isn't really classed as a discussion. But, discussions do and can happen in responces. The Other Games sub-board is the only appropraite place I see suitable to hold an 'Other Game Screenshots' sub-board.

There is also the case to think about what rules would be applied to that board, such as no screnshots containing nudity, offencive material/language etc. Unless edited so that certain content is heavily censored/pixelated I suppose. I'm not sure how things would go in terms of gore, as blood isn't too bad honestly. But I understand perfectly if internal organs can be a stomach turner and would eirher have to be censored or not permitted in this certain board. Perhaps there could be a way around this even, and state in the sub-board's rules that certain graphic content should be placed in spoilers with a pre-warning of what the content is behind the spoilers. It's a thought.

Anyway, feel free to share your thoughts. There's always a way around worries or concerns, as I've clearly stated. Please ask if you want to know some more detail, instead of assuming something will absolutely not work, as I'd most likely have an answer or solution for it, to be considered by Staff of course. I know users can be quite cocky when trying to prove points or share the down sides, dare I say in no means to be rude.

This thread was made souly for people to share their favourite music genres, share and offer songs and music for people to listen to, or even share music you think people will enjoy in general. There's no limit, no boundaries, just share and enjoy. Who knows, you might even end up helping other's expand their playlist. It doesn't really matter how many times you post here, so long as you don't multi-post and follow the following rules:

Please be sure to give people pre-warnings to any explicit/offencive/sensitive material in the audo/lyrics you share.
Please be specific in regards to what the excplicit/offencive/sensitive materail, and all will be well.
You can post music videos, so long as they are suitable, and not mature. Avoid posting music videos with explicit/offencive/sensitive material.
Please do not milti-post. You can post as many times as you want, so long as you don't post directly after yourself basically.

I thought it would be fun to have a little screenshot area for the cinemap I created. Though screenshots could have gone on the actual thread, I rather wanted to keep the map download thread separate for the purpose of feedback and comments etc. Hopefully everyone who uses this map will enjoy what it has to provide, and will hopefully share the screenshots they have taken! There is an actual greenscreen as the movie screen in this map too! So be creative, and share with us your wonderful screenshot manipulations!
