Title: Member hosted competitions
Post by: Bloo. on October 26, 2018, 01:58:15 am
I think it would be a real cool addition if we had a sub-board in the competitions and events board where members can host their own competitions! I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but it may be a good way to get the community active and excites for things between staff hosted events and competitions ^^

It is neat, but I'm pretty sure that's what the community activities hub is for basically.

I am behind this idea. But mistake me if I am wrong, isn't the place for that here (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?board=135.0)?

Tis, tis, however I feel as though general competitions would get lost, I figured that board was for community hosted events and such ^^

I see where your coming from, but the community activities hub truly is where competitions would really fit in.

"Community Activities Hub
A place for the community to advertise activities and events in and outside the game."

Competitions would fall under this ^

Sadly not many community hosted competitions are posted nowadays, so creating an entirely new child board for it to remain empty aside from one or two posts I do not see much a point in making, for now. If the activity on these competitions were to pick up, I could most definitely see reasons behind it then.

Either way, I do like the idea.
