(DISCLAIMER: I did not make this map pack, I'm just putting this post here so nobody really has to message me anymore and if they do I'll direct them here.)
Hi everyone.
So I see alot of people searching for a link to the old maps that works with the current version (1.17). I've got a link to a map pack that works with the current version, people message me for it.

Step 1: Download
Step 2: Unzip & read the READ ME text file.
NOTE: You MUST replace lonely cave, for it adds a small cave with a portal inside that links to the old lonely. That's how you'll traverse the old maps.

Oh goodness... thank you for these!

I just downloaded these and man did I get some amazing memories rushing back. In Bonfire I'd always sit and watch everyone roleplay, or I'd be getting yelled at for being too close to some, or I'd just be watching all of the "centers" running around and people gathering around them. It was sad to see the place empty, but man was I happy to see it again. I then went to Fluorite Plains to take a look around and I don't know why, but I was really expecting to see the people like in the previous days. I went to the common roleplay spots (Bene's Y-River, ShatteredClan camp, TwistedClan camp, and even a few spots where I ran a roleplay) and just like Bonfire, it was kinda saddening to see it all empty and knowing that it will most likely never be used like in the old days again.

While I love the new maps and such, these old maps here are bittersweet. They bring back such happy feelings and such great memories. I wish that something like these maps would take hold and would be one of those "common" downloads for people just like markings and items, but alas that likelihood is incredibly low.

Thank you again for posting these, Kitter. And thank you for giving all of us the opportunity to remember the past. <3

It's my pleasure for bringing joy once again to your hearts with these maps, as I know how much they mean to some people. I'm actually considering making a party hosted at Bonfire or Fluorite, haha! Also, I haven't heard of those RPs (I guess since I couldn't join back then bc of registration being weird), and I'd love for someone to take me to those spots. Heck, I could even make the party about re-living old roleplays. But anyways, you're welcome! <3

oh ik what the good old days were like.. so many people online, soetimes even 300 people in flourite o_o

I tried to edit the old post I made but it's been locked and I can't change it anymore. :L

Also, it's working..? I got a couple of messages from people earlier this year that the pack was borked (not just the download) so I've slowly been remaking it when I've had free time but I guess it's not necessary? Neat. Thanks for posting a working link, maybe I'll see some of you on them. :D

I know necro-ing old posts is bad practice, but if there's ever a map pack that deserves to be necroed, it's the original maps.  Thanks so much for making these available!  Can't wait to climb Ascension Island again and scream in rage as I fall from the highest rings. XD
