Silverside Island

A very large (100k width), very cold (snow), very fantasy themed (unrealistically glowing and blue-ish forest and grass... and objects. xD) island map. I'm just changing the colors of the default textures and using default meshes, unless I feel like making something fancy.
What is made by me?
Height-map, Mask, Placement of all objects, Recolored default textures, Bridge mesh, Octagon platform mesh, Rook mesh, Wall mesh, Hovel mesh, Iceburg mesh.

Ooo this looks gorgeous so far! Really love the colors of everything, kind of reminds me of the turquoise birthstone. Really nice work, can't wait to see it when it's finished! c:

It will no doubt take some time before this is finished, but I can give you all a pre-finished release once I've made the spawn area and updates afterwards if you'd like. =)

Unfortunately I don't have more pictures to show you at the moment but I wanted to bump this to let you all know that it's still in the works and that I've almost placed all the grass I wanted to place. Hopefully I'll have something more to show next time. ^.^

Major progress has been made since my last post and I wanted to show you all what it looks like now. Added 5 screenshots to the original post. The 5th one is what the spawn area currently looks like, empty because I haven't made it yet. =)

OH GOD! IT'S REALLY EPIC AND BLUE! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my fav color if BLUE! I'm blue da ba di ba.... I will download it one day OwO!

Made a small update for this map, adding a road and modified materials to change the view a bit. New screenshots added so you can see the slight changes in the view. =)

I personally think it could use more small things to decorate the ground and sea level, but I do like the view from being in the trees. Good thing the updates are planned then! xD

Glad to hear it interests you! Nor have I seen a map like this before... It's rather huge, is heavily populated with objects and took a very long time to make and it's still in the works! o.o
It gives me something to do though. :D

With this major update the winter version of this map is officially COMPLETED, WOOHOO! (Though I think a saw at least one floating tree... oops! I'll just fix that as I work towards the awesome secret thing. xD)
