how the heck do i keep the new tab ad thing when you click the login page go a w a y
cause my adblocker sucks and the /last/ thing i need is more viruses.

There was a conversation on a post not so long ago (I can't remember what post)
But it seemed that everyone was getting that problem. But it's needed so FH's Servers can keep running.

The ads should not give you a virus and, from my experience, are easy to click out of. I'd suggest turning off your adblocker for the login page as this is what helps pay for the server. ^^

As Jader said, the ads are needed to keep the site up and running. As long as you exit the ad tab and don't click anything on the page that pops up, you'll be fine.

yeah okay, i know it's to pay for stuff
but the popup ads throw other popups that i have to click in order to close them (believe me, i tried any other way)
and i probably have many viruses my adblocker doesn't sense so yeah.
it's just really annoying to me. i can't even get a different adblocker because m family won't let me.
and again, i /know/ it's for money and stuff. you don't have to tell me. i'm just really upset about the ads.

They throw other popups? What browser are you using?

i always use google chrome.
the popups in the popups just say things like "hey you won at a chance to try out this insert stupid thing here! yaay!" and i have to press an x to get rid of it.
it's just really annoying, cause it only just started showing the ads again for some reason, and this is what i get.

i've the same issue on Chrome, even though I have a genuine Adblocker and two AntiMalwares.
Maybe it's the Chrome browser itself - cause on Firefox it seems to block those annoying popups completely.
"congrats u won. lets throw twenty popups at you so you cant click out" ads are very odd for raising money

Yes, sometimes the ads have that. But, there should only be one to two ads a day. What you're doing with clicking the X is what you should do, then just close the ad tab.

Oh boy, I have the same problem. I really hate these ads, but sadly there's nothing we can do about them.
BUT. One thing I do, is use the "tab" button on the keyboard to navigate the login page. It makes it so that you don't have to click on anything, and no ads pop up. Then when you're all done typing in your login info, just hit enter. Hope this was helpful c:

It's the server and forum not anything else.
It's how the staff keep le forum running, my friends! I know it is annoying, but it's how it is. At least for now until they rid of a log-in page or figure out how to block the ads.
