I'm tired of having a black and yellow forum layout, I kinda want to lighten things up. So how about we add new forum skins so the layout of the forum as you see it only is different?

This, I believe, has been said before; but Raz put a lot of time and coding into this skin. Besides, it's a rather nice skin - it fits FeralHeart rather well in my opinion.

I, actually, like the black-yellow-tan layout. I think it works better with this type of game.

New forum skins would indeed be nice, but I really like this skin. ;3 It fits the game well. :3 Besides, it also saves watts. xD;

But me, personally, I like the layout. It suits FeralHeart. ^^
Plus if FH was white, it would hurt your eyes, and it wouldn't suit it! D:

All a matter of taste really, some hate it, some love it. I'm one of those who actually like this. It does suit with the game indeed, but I actually find this forum mild on the eyes, and easy read since the text is clearly shown.
Another thing I'm happy about is that there isn't flashy animations or colourful backgrounds/backdrops. It's nice and simple and doesn't stand out too much. The focus should be on the posts, not the forum, so this black/yellow works perfectly fine.
However though!
If you are so annoyed about this layout of the forum, there is a way to change it to standard appearance I believe. Though then it will go even more simple than it is now. But atleast you'd get rid of the black/yellow you dislike so much?
Go onto your profile here on the forum, then choose "Look and layout preferences"
Look for where it says "Current theme: FH" and click change next to it.

Honestly, I'm stubborn. Switching to this new forum is still tough for me, and shouldn't have happened. Therefore, I automatically dislike pretty much everything about the forum, but not because I actually don't like it. I only dislike it because I was forced here with no choice, and if you force me I have a horrible tendency to bite back, or to be extremely passive aggressive.
I do my best to hide it here though.
So, to me the skin is eh. The layout is eh. It's all eeeh. LOL
I could definitely use a skin that looked similar, color wise, to Stacey's abandoned forum. It would at least make me feel more at home, imo.

It was rather needed changing to this forum since the logins were to be linked to the game. Same login for both forum and game makes identity and managing for mods and users a lot easier. If someone doesn't like the forum because of the looks, it's all their own choice. But we should be happy we have a forum like this. :3

It's good you put it that way cause otherwise I'd not quite understand your post. Hopefully you will get used to this with time.
The only thing I'd personally complain about it that the forum might slow down at times, and that it got some minor bugs when posting. But otherwise I like this forum. :3

I agree with with Red's statement about the flashy animations and what not, this skin is simple and fits perfectly into the atmosphere of FH, I honestly like it.
Flashy things hurt my eyes @_@ lol

I'm basically adding to what the majority of others said, but I still think it'd be neat to at least be able to customize the layout. Like be able to choose background, border, font colours, etc.
I know nothing about that stuff. Heck, I dun even know how to change my font colour on this site, but maybe someday in the future that'd be a nice feature to add once all the important stuff is out of the way.

i like this layout and color, i just wish if you posted in black you could change the background of your post to a slightly lighter color like grey XD owwww..... my friend cracked me over the head with a WII remote

I like the forum the way it is, it gives me more of a wild feeling which is good for the Feralheart forums :P but yeah if some people want to be able to change features then that might be a reasonable add in to this forum :)

I like the layout we got, its uhm.. "Feral Heart-ish", but thats just my opinion. x3

the forum layout is nice i agree and not to glarey that you get a migrane from looking at the text on the downside however if there is a large block of text like a story it tents to make your eyes go funny

The only problem is that, if someone picks a font color that looks okay on their layout, like white on a pink background, but you have a white background...see the problem? It's better if its just universal for everyone, that way there's no funky fonts going on. xD

yeah i guess but no matter what you do someone will always have a colour somewhere that kills it

Im alright with whatever works, although maybe there is a way that we can change it every month or season. Although, this is only a small suggestion. The color that we have now is pretty sore on the eyes but its very easy to see, and the colors of peoples writing works very well.

I think this skin's okay, but I agree with Raw x3 We should change it to match the month/season, or something.

Having multiple skins would be a conflict of color on posts that the user has added their own colors to. I rather like this skin. :D

Well, you can always change the color of your writing.
Just type out what you need to type and you can change the color.
First you have to click on of the buttons, Bold/Underline/etc. Then click the arrow botton nect to where it says change color and it should give you a list of colors. So then just choose the color you want.

The Forum's skin just suits FeralHeart, not green or blue, etc.
