Title: Walk Apart
Post by: Speedyscout122 on March 18, 2018, 08:35:04 pm
Did you ever think,
We would walk apart?
You have to much of a place in my heart, and
If I walk away from you you call me like a lark,
If I'm in the shadows you save me from the dark.
Did you ever think,
We would walk apart?
You have to much of a place in my heart, so
If you walk away from me I must summon you back,
And when you're in the shadows I will always have your back.
Love did you ever wonder,
(When you where younger)
And did you ever mourn,
A dark and grey morning;
A wild crying horn?
Love did you ever consider
(When we where not together)
That an eagle could swoop,
On a grey dawn?

Beautifully written. The repetition is used in quite a nice way, calling to mind some kind of resurfacing of events. A little sweet and a little somber.

Nice work!
