Perhaps they're alluding to the reformation of something other then the current maps.

Maybe they're working on Sky's Rim and Ascension Island kinda map. But upgraded, like what they did to Bonfire Island and created Bonfire Islands. And Ficho. Also, Temple of Dreams, can't forget about that one either!

Yep!
There are a lot of open spots and things that look like what could be places for portals in Ficho Tunnels. I might add some photos later. I think that Temple of dreams upgraded map portal would be nice in ficho.

FeralHeart Investigators!

@Kuri and I decided to investigate few FeralHeart maps. Later on, @Lyrae joined us! We wanted to explore and see possible places that could be set up (saved, prepared) for portals of upcoming maps. Here's what we found:

First we went to Ficho Tunnels. Ficho is very interesting because It has a lot of possible portal places, since there is a whole bunch of tunnels in this map. We found a few nice spots that would suit well for new maps.

This definitely looks like a perfect spot for some sort of a map. Possibly another underground map or something similar.
Next, still in Ficho, we found these waterfalls. It's not very likely that anything will be added here, but It does look like a great spot for the inside of a waterfall map/maps.
After that we went to Cherika Valley, and we found some pretty interesting stuff there! Let's get started with this part. I mean just look at it! It definitely looks like a spot prepared for a portal.
This also looks like it could lead to a colder map. Doesn't really look like it will though, It feels too bumpy.
And this I think! Oh I am almost 90% sure that there will be a portal in here. It looks like It wasn't made for a pack or a pride. There's not place to rest and It's not a cave either. It's a bunch of rocks that look like they're here to be worked on. I hope that the portal of one of the new maps is located exactly on this spot in Cherika Valley!
And last but not least, we went to Seaside Grove and decided to explore it a little bit too. So far, this is the only spot that we found at least a little bit suitable for the new map. We haven't explored the entire Seaside Grove yet though!

There are still a whole ton of maps left to explore! Like Kiwimbi Beach and Bonfire Islands.
