Title: Missing Export Folder
Post by: Stonefang on June 05, 2011, 01:08:08 am
I downloaded the new patch but I can't find the export folder to put new maps in and two of my maps (the chocolate map and the Rave Cave) aren't showing up in the Cape of Distant World's anymore. Please help!

What folder are you looking in?
The exports folder is in Computer > Local Disc (C:) > FeralHeart

NOT in  Computer > Local Disc (C:) > FeralHeart > Media
which is where most people think it is.

Hope I helped. ^^

All .fhz files no longer work with the new patch, and Chocolate Land is a map that uses an .fhz file.

Now as for the "exports" folder, are you sure you installed the patch correctly? If you got FeralHeart when it first came out, and downloaded "Feral Heart Patch" Then it won't work. You need to save any maps you made, save any presets you've made, (by moving their files to somewhere else) uninstall FH, download the "Feral Heart Game Setup", and install that. But never put any .fhz files back, or it'll crash the game, you'll just have to wait until the creator re-exports them for the new game version.

Hopefully it'll work now. ^^

@.::Tannah-Van-Jack::. - Nope it's not in the Feral-Heart folder

@xRuby- Thanks! I'll try that. But first, the characters I've created to my account will still be there if I uninstall and then reinstall it?

Characters are saved to the game server, not your computer (so you won't loose them). However, as I said, if you've created any maps or presets, you need to save those before uninstalling and reinstalling.
