Just wanted to make a poll about your opinion, so far, on this update.
I know it hasn't been a lot since it has been released, but for what you have seen, how are you liking it so far??
-
I think it might be too early to say, to be honest.
- Aside from a few things, I enjoy it.
-
I love it. I can't connect too well right now because of the record-breaking player count right now, but I'm getting so nostalgic.
The music, which I've had turned off for years, to hear it again is so empowering, as well as the new music, and it honestly feels like a new RPG with all the new questers, and the staff-pile "NPCs" to give help and such.
I honestly might cry.
-
I love it.
I can't pretend I'm not sad the old maps are gone, but there's new ones in their place and now the game almost has a fresh start of sorts. I'm very happy with everything in the game right now (even if I can't connect to some maps and such) and I'm just glad the staf and everyone who contributed put so much effort into making this.
I have a lot of memories in the old maps, but there's a lot of memories to be had in the new ones, too.
-
I definitely like it a lot. It's way better in my opinion, I love how all the new maps have much more detail than the last ones. The other ones I felt were a bit more plain, while the new maps are more unique and interesting.
Some things in my opinion that will take getting used to, is the buttons and mini-map on the right side of the screen, I keep trying to go to the bottom to moonwalk or message someone. xD I do like it on the right side though, gives me more space to put my chatbox up and more room for roleplaying!
I love the new moonwalk dance, especially since it avoids the issue of people buttswinging above others. So it's definitely way better.

Oh yeah, I forgot the new animation! It looks great!
Also I can lay down in public maps without worrying about being molested now.
-
I may not have gotten it quite yet, but from what I've seen and heard from others it looks like the wait was well worth it ^^
I can't wait to experience the newer look myself c:
-
I'm afraid it's nothing I can get used to...
I did go through the maps, but honestly? It just feels like a step backwards; the edits resemble the days of old of Impressive Title more than simple "updates". That's just me, though. Anyone who enjoys it can do so, to the fullest in fact, but I personally can't. [small awkward shrug]
It's like... I wish the markings hadn't been messed up, nor the old maps deleted. It may seem like a fresh start but some of us prefer the old stuff, you know? :-\
I do respect the fact it's take a heck of a lot of effort to do all this, but it's just not for me. That's all.
-
I'm a bit saddened by the change, including for someone like me who has slow Internet during the days, It's taken me since the Websetup to download it, and It's a looong way from finishing. It upsets me that some of the old maps are gone but I'm sure with a new start everybody will be happier, though for people like me who have been around for a while, It'll take some time to adjust.
Aside from that, the games Update looks lovely judging from the pictures my Sister has sent me, as far as getting all the Items/Textures/Markings would be fantastic, But I won't be too picky as it is a new update, I'm sure once I'm done pouting I'll find a good map to relax in~
-
I'm enjoying the update as of so far.
It really feels like a fresh start in the Feral-Heart community.
The only doubtful thought currently is that I do miss having the optional choice of different marking packs and being able to install them.
-
I cant get it to work ;-;
-
I gotta say, I really like the new update. This seems to be a huge turning point for FeralHeart, in a good way of course. The game was well in need of an update, and here we are years later. It's very impressive what the staffies could do without the source code itself.
-
Personally, it made me step back a little. Right now, the community has to 'reform' as to say - after all, the usual spots on the maps are gone, people have to re-explore everything and such. Maybe in a few months, I can come back and meet my friends again - after all the initial confusion has cleared out.
Other than that, I'm 'ok' with the update. As someone that was just working on a texture pack, well.. Never a better time than now.
-
I think the update is breathtaking. So many new maps to explore! And so many beautiful views!
-
It's a very enjoyable update, and it's very exciting to see one after so long.
Despite that, I would say I'm having much fun. The new maps are all done in good work, but I can't say I won't miss the old maps. But, it is nice to have a fresh start for the community. :)

This was my first impression too, especially with the cape of worlds portal hidden in that spinning globe, just the way IT portals appear as.
There are a lot more maps now so I guess the community is going to be spread out more and seem a little deserted like an IT server, but I am in love with the underwater map and I really like the other new maps too.
-
It is great! I just hope the players tone it down. I would like to play sometime lol. (I have gotten a chance, but it took forever, and was at midnight my time to even get on.)
-
I love the update, 10/10, the maps are gorgeous and everything is so lively again. Although I will miss the old FH, I have to admit I believe this is a great step for the game. I don't know about any one else, but does the game feel a bit like a more detailed Impressive Title now?? Kinda noticed this a bit, idk if its just me.

Nope, I got that feel to. Nothing wrong with that. I love Impressive Title and its many different server versions running around, but I always prefered FHs design, so I love it!

Tibia 'nest (not sorry), I was shaking and could barely sit down when I saw it had updated. Also squeaking like a... Something that squeaks a million times a minute. Given, I would have squealed, but it was just me and my sister at my house, and squealing wasn't a thing I could do.
Right when my mom got home, though...
Me: *Hears door open and Mom's voice* "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Not even joking, that's what I did.
I love the update. It looks a lot like the IT servers, yeah, but it still has that Feral Heart feel to it. I really like how everything's put together and stuff.

I Love the Update with a Passion!
-
I enjoy this new update so far, the new maps bring back memories of the island of Mata Nui (not something Feral Heart related) Which made it very nostalgic. You can clearly see diversity in each area with interesting places to explore or meet up. Although the previous FH maps were a lot humbler and much easier to navigate compared to the update, now the community have to find new landmarks for those who used to hang out around SB, N/Z, and whatnot. Just need a little familiar with the places.
The UI looks much better compared to the previous one, in my opinion. But as far as it goes for the markings, it's mixed, I had some liking to the previous ones, but I can live with using these too.
-
I really like it, but the thing I don't like is that the maps are kinda hard to get used to. Like, the portals are hidden in some place where I wouldn't usually look. So I voted "Meh, it's OK", even though I like it a lot. Plus it feels like Dragon's Den. (Which I hate TBH). But, I really like it and I appreciate all of the hard work the staff put into this! ^-^
-
-
I just generally like how the world has been vastly expanded. Not the mention the fact that the maps connect with each other in a logical way. Also the attention to detail. Anyone else notice all the cheeky little nooks and crannies tucked away in the maps? Great places for curling up and snuggling in!
The new music is pretty high on the list as well. Creates a really nice atmosphere.
-
I honestly love it, I think I like it more than the old FH. Sure, most of the old maps are gone, and I'll miss them, but I like the new ones more. They feel more wide open, free, and have tons more exploration. It makes me want to play the game more.
And the game, it feels so different, yet the same. Kinda reminds me of that Adventure Time song, heh.
The only problem I have is the character selection/creator screen. It feels kinda empty and dull, and doesn't really fit with the rest of the game. I know why they made it this way, to have more of an emphasis on the character, but I feel like the old screen accomplished that well. Mostly because the background didn't feel so distracting.
Overall, I say it's great, has it's problems, but still.
-
I like it. It's different and a nice change.
Certainly more interesting.
-
OH SO SAD :( It's nice, but old FH players might no longer want to play. In my opinion, the grapics are worse. What happened to my home in FH? Sigh. Try dragons den. The grapics are somewhat like the old FH. And you can be more than just canines and felines, (starts crying) R.I.P Dash Strike and all my other characters ............................. ( I don't even play dragons den, my sis does. I'm going to try it. AND BE HAPPY)
-
I mean, I'd like it more if the characters looked the same and none of the maps were deleted. (no offence to the amazing staff. Good luck with FH! I've been playing for three years!)
