Title: Post won't update
Post by: FlyingGrass on September 28, 2019, 06:55:27 pm
I'm trying to update my creations topic(https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=62956.0) to rename it, and add new modifications, but when I click "I am not a robot" and wait a few seconds for it to finish, I get placed into a "Start new topic" screen that is blank, and when I go to the User Creations Collection board(Not using the browser's back arrow), the post hasn't updated. I'm in Google Chrome, however the same problem happens in FireFox too. The post is very close to exceeding the limit.

I've had this problem before in the past... Sometimes it's to do with the site and other times with your own connection. It could also be how your browser is set up?
I recommend writing out the post & saving it to note pad (or anything preferred)  & once complete hit edit post, quickly paste what's needed and hit publish/post.
Sometimes if you take to long creating a post it could time you out.

Another good reason why it could be happening is your Anti-Virus system. (Which was my issue)
I had a lot of pop-up ads and such drowning my chrome. I could barley use chrome & my anti-virus went insane & blocked off everything possible.
Try making sure in your anti-virus settings that it's not blocking off any feral-heart pages. AS well as make sure your google chrome extensions (Like blocker extensions) aren't linked up in any way to the feral heart website.
If all else fails you could always take the wording you copied & email it to yourself... open it via phone/ipad/ect. and post it on the website through that.

Unfortunately this is all I can think of doing to help out at the moment... If anything else comes to mind I will let you know.
Worst case scenario~ You could always reinstall chrome if thats what the issue may be.
Try using the basic internet explorer as well to post. ^-^ (OR Anything that hasn't been used to much yet).

~ Hope this helps somewhat.

Perhaps try clearing your browser cache and cookies, see if that makes a different if Mea's suggestions don't do the trick.

The folks above me already made some great suggestions. If the site doesn't sort it out on its own (as that weird stuff and other things have happened to me with the site before too) just send me a message of what you want to add and where as well as the name you want to rename the thread to. I'll gladly fix it for you in the meantime. :)
