Lol this is quite random and strange, but I have a Math Mid-term tomorrow and I'm doing my best to study for it. I'm not sure if anyone can respond in time, as it is late at night and normally people go to bed around this time. If anyone responds very quickly, I'd appreciate it and love you forever. (In the good way.)
I need help on knowing the difference between LCD and LCM. I don't get it. What more, I need help trying to solve using LCM. Math just isn't my thing. I'm not sure even how to word this; I'm getting sort of tired in lack of sleep and frustrated with Math right now. Any help, please?
A further note - If I have already gone inactive and have basically gone to bed, could a Mod please lock/delete this, since I have already started the next day for school, and will not check this until in the evening? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I can probably check in the morning, it depends. Thank you anyway.
Oh, I wish I knew! I forgot...math sucks, huh?
Lol indeed it does. x3 Pfft I hate it when you forget what something is right before the test/quiz. x3

This should be an interesting post. owo
Ok, LCM and LCD. o3o This isn't to complicated.
LCM-
The least common multiple (LCM) of two numbers is the smallest number (not zero) that is a multiple of both.
Here's my own quick explanation:
Ok, let's say you have two numbers. 5 and 8.
Multiples of 5 would be:
5- 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60.
Multiples of 8 would be:
8- 1, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, and 96. o3o
Now what numbers do they both have in common?
40.
Because: 5x8=40.
BUT- It's not always just multiply two number together and you have an answer.
What about a number like 2 and 3?
2- 2,4,6,8,10,12...
3- 3,6,9,12,15,18,21....
3 and 2 have many multiples, but only 3 is the least common multiple.
Here's a good site for them: Click Me! (http://www.mathsisfun.com/least-common-multiple.html)
Ok. LCD. :o We actually never did LCD in school. o-o We only did LCM and GCF (Greatest common factor).
This might help. O-O Click Me (http://www.mathsisfun.com/least-common-denominator.html)
Good luck Oreo! <3 ;_;
I'd recommend looking at the sites I gave you- They explain it better.

@Warroiranimals: Thanks for the suggestion! However, I did, but I didn't really understand it. Thank you, though c:

noreally. Thank you very much, Alphabuttie!<3 GAAH.
I couldn't reply to this but I did read it. Made perfect sense to me; I think I got a pretty good grade on the Mid-term. Again, I can't thank you enough. I don't get Math that easily, but hopefully I got the LCM LCD down. x3
-Mod can lock this now-
