Snow falls softly around you in the sun; it had been snowing for days -- since you have entered these strange areas. It was in June, yet oddly, it snowed. From the locals' claims, it was the season of the ' big snow '. Wasn't it supposed to be Summer, like warm and green? Yes. But everything around you was covered with snow and the shade of gray from the trees. Gigantic pine trees loomed over your head as you began to dig a small den in the enbankment of a hill. More snow covered your body, and finally- earth. The ground was cold and hard; too frozen for your scrawny little paws to dig through. With a sigh, you squeeze into the snow-den. Your stomach rumbles with an eager plead for food. You ignore it anyway; survival is no longer the main thing on your mind. Your eyes start to close; but not before a small arctic fox with a ringed tail sticks it's head into your den. " Hello? " It asks shyly. Your face immediatly breaks into a snarl. " Okay! Okay! I'm goin'. " the fox says in a feminine voice. Who was that fox? Curiousity fills your mind and you climb out of the snow. You look around, but no fox is in sight. A squirrel scampers on the ground nearby; your stomach rumbles again and your legs move wildly. The squirrel doesn't bother to move; it knows it's about to be eaten, and it doesn't seem to care. Warm blood fills your snout as you devour the squirrel quickly. The only thing you can smell now is blood; fresh, frisky, squirrel blood. Blood covers the nearby tree. Blood covers the snow. Everything you see is covered in a bloody coat. " Uh... " you stammer. You lick your lips clean and the blood fades away. This place was odd. No, it wasn't odd, but it was; you were in Blood Splatter National Park, located in the center of Canada. This place... this place was home to weirdos. Weirdos, as in the ones who don't belong with others; you didn't belong here, but you felt like you blended in well with others.
You knew this was your home from now on.

? personality ? Vixen is a tricky, agile, and clever little fox. She sometimes bribes young males to do the work for her. She doesn't let others get away so easily, sometimes trying to get the last bit of information out of them. Vixen hates basically anything annoying, even pups and cubs. She's also a hothead when it comes to looking for food. (That's all I got xD)
? history ? Vixen was born into a normal family. She had a sister named Kani and a brother named Red. In the Winter, when food was scarce, Kani went missing. Vixen's mother, Mendi, went looking for her. After an hour, a blizzard broke out. Luckily, Red and Vixen were tucked safly in a rock den that Mendi chose to have her cubs in. Vixen and Red waited day after day, but Mendi and Kani never returned. After a week, the berry supply Mendi had left the two cubs had been wolfed down. So Red and Vixen went out of the den for the first time. Red had a good nose and found a berry bush which they wolfed down in a matter of minutes. A year later, Red left the den to start his life. Vixen was left alone.

She flicked her ears. The trickling of water sounded. "Water will have to do." Vixen grumbled. She made her way, bulldozing her way through the snow. Finally, she came across a river that was almost coated with snowflakes. Vixen stared into the ever so still water for a moment. A red-brown face with emerald green eyes stared back at her. Weirdly, Vixen's coat hadn't turned white or silver for the Winter. The young fox lapped the freezing water up, not knowing what what Winter would bring this icy month.

History: Kaylie was raised from birth as a healer by her mother, who was named Moonsong. Although Kaylie never met her father, she loved to train with Moonsong. She was a brilliant healer, once even helping to heal a severed leg of a pack member. When she finally left her pack, she set out with one mission, which was to make sure that anyone who is innocent and needed help would recieve it.

RP sample: Kaylie walked though the huge forest, snow falling gracefully onto the ground and her pure white fur coat. She loved moments like these, when the snow sparkled in the blue moonlight. She sniffed the air, hunger throbbing in her stomach. She caught the scent of a lone foal, not to far from her position. She lowered herself into the snow to stalk it. Kaylie found the foal in a large clearing, nibbling greedily at a berry bush, leaving itself completely open to attack. Kaylie took her chance and pounced visciously, throwing the foal to the ground. It was petrified, and tried to run, but Kaylie was too fast. She ended it with a powerful bite to the neck, and the foal dropped lifeless to the snow coered ground. Kaylie sat to rest before eating, the moonlight reflecting off of her now mostly crimson fur.
