I, personally, adore making presets. It's not something somebody new to it can do easily, however (such as myself). But I am working hard to make my first, my best.
I am also making the shading myself, using my style. So far it is doing well- it's still under major construction. Maybe I will upload a preview at some point!
Along with that, I am planning to make completely new characters just for FeralHeart, and make presets for all of them. Infact, I might make a preset for my fursona Painful once I have finished the current one. Been working on this preset for a total of 10 hours- it's pretty frustrating, especially with shading it myself, choosing designs (still haven't made an official one yet!) and a name. But, I'll leave the name for now...

So, who here is/has made a preset? I've seen plenty on Youtube so far, but I'd like to know of anymore. Maybe a picture, too?

...It is? That was my first try, it took me 2/3 hours. I could never do it personally. I'm thinking of doing some little presets for people. Charge like...nothing but being nice to me :D

When you make a preset, it shows it as a lion. However, it will still work with the canine model. :P

It needs alot of work but I was so excited to see Feral Heart finally released!
I made my fursona, Donut. She needs a bit of work, but overall I am happy!

 Hey MD33z. I have a question. Have you studied canine anatomy? I don't know anything about it but those muscles look pretty dang convincing to me! xD

Donut: I really like it! I'm not a big fan of the colour pink but it looks really good on your character, it goes well with gray.

The difference is... Well, pretty sure they are the same. Mirror 2 is incase mirror 1 doesn't work I'd think.

Working on textures more then anything. Still a WIP, need to work on the on the legs. And the muzzle.... But yeah. I'm pretty proud of the fur texture on the face. But I still need to add markings X3

Presets are such an awesometastic feature~ This is my first preset.

EDIT: BY THE WAY I don't know if anybody's aware of that, but there are existing fur textures if you go into the Feral Heart folder - media - textures. "chead(/body/tail)Shade.jpg" for canines and "fhead(/body/tail)Shade.jpg" for felines.

Can't get over the amazingness of those Mech-Presets you do MD33z, that glowing stuff is pure eyecandy. Do you draw them all by yourself? Do you use any textures for them?

Hehe, i drew them all myself.

If you people remember the muscle-skull thingie i did? I used that body all over again and modified it alot.
I like drawing something like, 100% hand-drawn, then modify the crap out of it XD When it comes to presets, of course.
It's time-saving, useful and looks really good.



It also keeps my presets connected and don't have a different muscle in a different place or something, it'd look weird.

I have no idea what to do xD the farthest I got was choosing the little "preset" box thing towards the end of the character making thing, but idk what to do with the colors or markings :o

Wow, there are some pretty cool presets here.  I'm still a newb to the whole thing, but I'm working on it, and I'll probably post a couple here once I get the hang of it.  I have a question, though.  I've seen some presets around with custom manes/facial expressions.  Anyone know how to do that?

@Paradox

There's a "emotes" file in the place where you installed FH.
Open it with notepad and copy-paste the emotes under(whichever  you want, you can also make custom emotes yourself) the [Normal] part.

Also copy the original [normal] somewhere else, just  when you need it to put it back.

@MD33z: Thanks, that'll definitely help me in the future, but I was wondering how people made custom emotes.  I'm assuming it has something to do with the mouth section...?

Edit: Oh, and another question came to mind.  Sorry if this sounds totally newbish (I am a newb, after all  ;) ), but how do I make a preset with getting rid of the texture?
