Anyway I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in here but its worth a try.
Being a player of IT when it was up, it was filled with lions. (what I mean is that there wasn't many people who made their characters look like a wolf)
Its sort of sad now, to see that hardly anyone plays as a lion on FH. Most of the time its wolves, and if you haven't noticed it you'll notice it for now, thats for sure. Also theres so many wolf roleplays but never any lion ones, and the only other lion RPs are TLK ones, which isnt very "creative character" friendly. It'd be nice to see more lions, I mean don't get me wrong the wolves are pretty cool and I'm glad Kov decided to put them in game, but I would like to see more lions.
Maybe thats just me though ^^

I agree with you D8 Though at certain times I've noticed more lions online. All my characters are lions, I only have two canines C: I've always liked cats better.

All of my characters are lions, and I don't really spend much time in public maps so I don't see what you're saying.. but i'm sure the whole 'wolf' phase will die down at some point. I mean hey, FH just came out with a new species, people are dying to make characters for them. :)

good point aroxy. I love canines and felines,and i wish they were both equal amounts. I have seen a couple rps in lions though

I think we need to give the game some time, let people enjoy the canine mesh, hopefully there will be more felines at some point. ~ But yeah.. x_x

I'm hoping the wolf phase does die down a bit. Most of my characters are lions as well.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the lions, I just like the wolf designs better. ;3
I do see what you mean here. I see lots of wolf roleplays around. It's quite crazy sometimes. :P But I don't really see more wolves than lions running around. I think the community is pretty equal with them~

maybe...99.9% of my characters in FH are canines,so your not alone sylph! and yeah,there are a TON of canine rps. and i also agree that the community is about equal. But like some people were saying,its a new species so more canines are expected

I don't have any felines in my character menu at all.. xD All wolves (I personally prefer canines to felines.). ;P I have to agree though, I do see more wolves around, FH just came out and it just introduced wolves. Let it die down. This is an exciting thing for all canine lovers like myself, especially when back in IT we could only be lions (I did my best to make my character wolf-ish in IT. xD). But yeah, overall, I agree. The canine phase should die down when FH gets further in progress.

The ammount of canines scares me at times XD. It feels so odd to be in an anything RP and theres only like... 2 felines and a boat load of wolves and stuff XD

I agree.... So I decided to look like my pet cat :D
Also I didnt really like canine..... because of their tail when they run.... creeeppyyyy :< Its like the tail has a mind of its own or something.

Wolves (and dogs) seem to be pretty common now. The thing, that annoys me mostly is, that so many people think "well, lets make an evil character! *tooks wolf, colours him black and gives him scars or/and red eyes*".
Well, I only can join these opinions. I've rarely seen a "real" lion in FH.
And pls note, that I don't want to say that wolves or people who own wolf-charas have less of imagination.

I don't have any lions or wolves. I have a cougar(feline mesh), a Leopon cub(feline mesh), a domestic cat(feline mesh) and what's meant to be a Tasmanian tiger(canine mesh). All the RPs I've seen advertized in the chat window were wolf RPs or Lion RPs with the occasional Warrior Cats RP popping up now and then. I think the RPs being asked for depend on who's asking for them. Most RPers seem to play lions or wolves more than other species.

Kamaria - I totally agree there. Wolves and lions are very overused general species.
I too have any other species animals, including a jackal, a few housecats, and a melanistic jaguar.
And also a rat xD Can't forget good ole' Barker.

I don't think that any of my characters are of a normal species. I always throw in something weird to make them less boring. Take my primate-canine-type species that I use for two characters (*Coughtheuglythinginmysignature*) for example.
But the canine mesh does seem to be used more often than the feline one, I think. And it seems like the only RPs you ever see much of are wolf ones.
I have way more characters who use the feline mesh than I do the canine. In fact, I think that my two primate-canine-things are the only "serious" characters of mine that use the canine model. And it doesn't even fit them all that well since they're more of primates. It's extremely annoying when people run up to me while I'm using either of them and say "OMG A WOLF GET OFF MY TERRITORY" or something along those lines. All wolves are canines, but not all canines are wolves. I wish that people would keep that in mind sometimes.

I haven't noticed this actually. But wouldn't be surprised either.
I have no new characters for FH, they are all a couple years old, my fursona is like a feline creature but 80% of my characters are canine or vulpine. Strange considering I am a cat person too. But doesn't me all to much, but I don't RP here, just chat and get friends.

Felt it have been a slightly bigger amount of canine people in general. But I do belive alot of players come from WQ. Maybe wolfehs just are more popular overall. And since there's a canine model now that's easy to modify for wolfeh appearance. People do eet.
In IT it always looked slightly more like a feline. So alot probably prefered using a lion.
Now things be... Slightly differentzz.

Roughly, I see more canines than felines. But its a new mesh, so people would go insaine wouldnt they? xD

I've noticed the same thing! I personally like the felines better- all of mine are felines except for 2. But once the mesh becomes a little older, it will probably die down and it will even out.

I only have two cats, all my others are non-felines. I'm hoping to find someone to make a Transformers character for me. List:

i think the oppisite teh wolves are SUPER annoying they always come to me when im RPing and shake thir butt in y face and scream "OHHHYESSS BABY DO MEEEE P*SSY CAT!" tehy are SO annoying! Lions are cooler and better for this game i think

But to be honest Aliki, That's just the person playing them, they can always be blocked / reported.
Im not a person to block or report anyone, yet ive finally got 3 people on my block for that crap.
Ive reported one for Harassment etc lol.

How can you report someone?

You can either i think left / right click the person that's harassing you and hit the report button
Or you can go to the "Game help" forum and post it up, i reported someone via game help because at first i didnt know i could report them from ingame.
So you can prob use that page unless the mods have locked it.

I have all lions, though I really only play with one character lol. its funny though, about noon it seems like all the wolves are on and in the evening there's a bunch of lions. i guess it depends on when you go.

NOOOOO! Please don't get rid of the lions! I love my lion and I don't want him to change! The only reason I REALLY like FeralHeart and put up with all the problems I've had is because of lions.

They're not getting rid of the lions... this thread is about how there are more wolves than lions now.

-had a heartattack- I thought they were getting rid of lions :O -would have died- But I have... like a lot of charries.. I love to make them XD. But I have two main peoplez, a lion and a wolf. So I balance it out ^_^
