Title: Soda, Pop or Coke?

I'm not sure if this has been a poll before, but I felt like bringing it up because it's been a huge debate in my current roleplay heh.
So what do you guys call it? Soda, Pop, Coke or something else? (:

Personally, I say pop! :p

Depending which side of the country, it's either cola or soda. cx

Okej this is hard for I have a love for them all... But sometimes I call cola / soda pop so... Lol.

I guess it varies for me. Lol.

Pop this coke soda can for me.

Pop from popping a soda, coke for coca cola.

Soda I feel is the right word for fizzy sugar beverages.

I grew up saying Pop, but I occasionally slip and call it Soda. I call coca cola, Coke, never pop. Sometimes I don't even say pop, more just say the the name of it, like Mountain Dew, or Pepsi.

I call it soda, or soda pop. xD  Where I grew up, Coke was used generically for drinks called soda/pop in other parts of my country.

I mostly use 'soda'. There are still a lot of people who call it 'pop' here, so really I just change what I say depending on who I'm talking to. I'd almost argue it's halfway split here where I live, but really it changes depending on where you are and who you're talking to in the state. I've never said 'coke' before, though, or heard anyone hear say it that way here. :o

I usually refer to it as "soda," although I use the term "coke" if referring to the specific beverage, Coca-Cola. A lot of my folks call it "pop," though.

I've just always called soft drinks 'Coke', regardless of whether it was a Mountain Dew, Pepsi, or something else. It's 'bout the same with almost everyone else in my area too.
