Okie, so I just downloaded and instaled FH everything was running smoothly, then when I clicked the tab to start opening my game as soon as the game starts to open everything starts to glitch out like crazy, the screen of my computer glitches out and the game too.... I had to restart my computer just so the glitching will stop.... idk what to do im scared that the game might mess up my computer, a great exsample of how my game and computer screen looks is when you go on the BIG help thread the title that says 'Game is not starting or having graphical issues/glitches 'https://i.imgur.com/POwITcn.jpg if the link isn't working then go back to the title and the first image you see is the promblem im having with my game. If there is anything you guys can do to help me I will be truely greatful! {Ty for using your time to read what my promblem is :)}

To change your rendering system, on the startup menu you click options, then video and select one of the two rendering subsystem, Direct3D9 or OpenGL, whichever is not selected.
If only one rendering subsystem shows up, go into your FeralHeart file and open the "Ogre.cfg" file. The first two lines should be either one of the two I just listed. Just erase and type in the opposite one and click save and give that a go.

sorry its taking long...... before I posted up my promblem I deleted the game.... I remember 4 years ago when I had this game it was working just fine 3 days later the promblem Im having suddenly happends :(

does it matter what download i use? i've always used the web download, 4 years ago I used the web download, and it was working for 3 days then the glitch happened :( maybe Im usng the wrong download, I know there is another download for windows but idk if its safe :(

Both downloads are safe, and both work c:
Windows 7 should be able to run FH, but how long have you owned your computer for? It's possible that simply using it for years and years have made it slower etc, or that possibly you need to update your graphics card drivers
I recommend taking a look at this, as it has suggestions (as well as instructions to said suggestions) of what may fix your issue

ok i just relized that most of the programs i have on my computer that are important are from 2011, and 2012 so... i could have had this computer for 6, or 7 years

I think im just gonna get myself a laptop its cheeper then a computer and I wont have to worry about this promblem anymore, as well as the promblem with the lag I have in my game ceral soup, another game I loved playing till the game started lagging really badly for me :( so yeah maybe my computer is too old but ty for trying to help me im really greatful for your help! :D

It's not too old. Just needs fine tuning. IDK how to tune them though. Used to be driver databases online you could pick up drivers from but IDK if i'd trust them anymore.. too many fake websites these days. Someone skilled in I.T. can probably link you to good resources though.

ty :) im not really the best with figuring out how to solve promblems with computers, im more of a roleplyer with wolf rp and warriorcats im just a geek with roleplaying lol, and when my friend told me about this game I had to check it out I got lucky enough to catch the register open last night, but sadly the game glitched out

I did download fh before but that was 4 years ago, it was working just fine for 3 days, then that glitch happened, and I think i almost got a virus cuz of that glitch, idk i just remember my dad telling me that he had to stop the virus from messing up the computer and he told me it came from fh

Hey there, midnight. Seems like you're still having some issues?
First off, did you try what Azura recommended: changing your rendering subsystem within the ogre.cfg file and it ended up not working? Make sure you are following through with the full instructions on how to do that as that can be one of the leading causes of graphical glitches and issues. I would maybe try changing your rendering subsystem back and forth a few times from one to the other and see if that might eliminate the problem.
If after several attempts of trying to change your rendering subystem there still seems to be glitching, I would try one more reinstall of the game. Also, make sure your FeralHeart folder is completely deleted from your system before you install it back.
If after a reinstall, the problem still occurs, this is where I would recommend update your graphics drivers. You can do this from a program that I like to use for driver updates known as IOBit Driver Booster. IOBit Driver Booster will scan your hardware and check for any drivers that it detects to be outdated. This saves a lot of time and energy of manually locating the drivers you need for your hardware and finding the source to download them from. This software does it all for you. Driver Booster has a large database of drivers and can update a variety of different system drivers. However, it is recommended that you only update your graphics/video drivers first. When IOBit initially scans, it recommends that you update all of your outdated drivers but i've found that that can sometimes lead to issues when there are drivers, I.E. audio drivers, that wouldn't originally need to be updated so it's best to select and choose what drivers you think you need rather than having them all selected. Which, Driver Booster does let you pick and choose so that's what you'll need to do :)

Light is for less powerful computers. Full is for more powerful computers (made after 2011 maybe?)

Mind explaining the problem to me? I might be able to give an diagnosis or atleast direct you to someone who can help.
If it is an problem with the files, uninstall and reinstall but make the file it goes into an different name. Such as Ferallheart or Feralheartt, however you are free to name it whatever you like.

If you have already reinstalled the game, changed the rendering subsystems and updated your graphics drivers i'm not sure what else there is to look into. It could be that your PC has just aged, as Kiki stated and is no longer running the game properly.
Try changing your rendering subsystem a couple more times and if that doesn't do the trick, i'm not sure.

If what has already been suggested isn't working out for you, it could very well be what has been stated before and that either your computer isn't able to function properly when it comes to the games or, that your graphic card is completely shot.
You might have to get an entirely new one and seeing if that helps.. If not, maybe you can try and invest in another laptop.
Updates can only do but so much but if the thing itself is completely unusable, might have to just try and get a new card or a new laptop. Suggest Windows 8 and up since that's the most common ones.. MAC being a challenge to when it comes to installing the game.

Have you tried reinstalling in a different file location?

It looks to me like your display is getting corrupted. It's hard to say why that may be happening without knowing more about your hardware though. What's your CPU? Graphics card? Amount of installed RAM? (If unsure how to find out, take a peek at: https://www.wikihow.com/Find-System-Specs).
If your display driver just so happens to be an Intel, I suggest taking a look at: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/975450/you-may-experience-display-corruption-issues-on-certain-intel-graphics
