What Music Do You Listen To While Roleplaying?

The title says it all~
What kind of music do you listen to while roleplaying, and why? c:

Personally, having been roleplaying for a few years, I've seen people who do their best in total silence, while others have to have some kind of music to suit their character, or the situation at hand/paw.
I usually have an arsenal of instrumental music, which includes:
- Softer stuff like Brian Brasher's work.
- Movie soundtracks like those from "How To Train Your Dragon" and "Pirates of the Caribbean; At World's End"
- Classical music, like Mozart or Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" and "The Nightingale" (only if I'm in a weird mood), or the music we play in my symphony, which can be any manner of orchestral arrangements.
- I'll also listen to some music with vocals, although it tends to distract me unless it's gentler stuff. Coldplay and Switchfoot are among these.
I guess the reason behind this is that music often brings a certain image to my mind, which helps me focus in and create an atmosphere around my character, and help me bring that out in my writing/posts. I find it a source of inspiration at times.

SO, what about you? :3

Well, I like rock/dubstep so that's what I usually listen to. c:
My favorites to listen to is Celldweller and Breaking Benjamin.

xD Wow, that's interesting stuff. Now, do your characters reflect the intensity of your music, or do you have it just to have some background sound? c:

(Love BB, by the way. -air paw-)

That is exactly what I listen to, along with all the Assassian's Creed Soundtracks. I love music, so I am constantly listening to it, and with soundtrack's I get beautiful, long pieces of music that dont interfere with my thinking. And with these soundtracks I get an intense, exotic type of atmosphere I guess you could call it that really go well with my main rp character. So it inspires me along with giving me a nice background music to listen to

Awesome stuff, there. :D I can't say I've listened to Assassin's Creed music as of yet, but I guess I'll have to look that up.
I feel ya, though, I like long pieces that don't interrupt your thinking, because if it's particularly rowdy music, my thoughts will kind of get jarred around with it.

Love HTTYD, though. "Forbidden Friendship," "Test Drive," and "New Tail" are my favorite tracks on there. <3
