Hi!
I've been pretty active of the forum lately and I realised that I've never done one of these and they seem to be quite a popular thing.  Some of you here may already know me in-game or you've seen me around the forum, but for those of you who don't know my name is Queen c:
I enjoy watching scary movies and eating candy... uhh yeah OH! And I think Irish/Scottish accents are really cool xD  I have a British accent woo.~
Other than that, I really enjoy reading/writing and looking at people's art... Cause I couldn't draw to save my life.

I don't usually download maps but I recently found this beautiful map by WulfTheWulf and I have been loving it c:
What is your favourite map? Is it a public one or private?
I usually spend most of my gameplay time in Fluorite Plains but lately I've been exploring a bit more and interacting with others.
(I've met some interesting people in Bonfire Island recently...)
Do you have a favourite place in that map? Like, a floofy corner you and your friends like to hang out at?
An old group I use to be in were always chillin' around Fluorite's top right corner where that big rock is. I think that'd be my favourite place :]

[I think forest maps are awesome, so if anyone knows any good woodland-themed maps I'd love to hear from you :D]

Site/Forum Help / Party map links aren't working?

Hi everyone.  Maybe someone can help me before this summer party starts...

I am having some trouble with the map download and before you ask, no I do not have a security program running on my laptop (I mean, I have adblock but that shouldn't mean anything..) and my internet connection is pretty good so I'm not sure why this is happening.  I'm on a mac, by the way.

I'm not sure if it's mediafire that is the problem because I don't have parental controls on here. I've also tried to access the download page on a different browser and I've tried on a windows computer as well.
This also happened for the movie night that happened recently. :c

It always comes up blank: (On a windows, it tries to redirect me but fails)

Game Discussion / Craziest RP in Bonfire?

So I think we can all agree that there's always some crazy stuff going on in Bonfire Island, but what's the most memorable thing you've ever seen there?
Was it a RP?
A character?
Or just a group of crazy floofs?

I saw a "Police Dog Academy" with loads of german shepard characters and even a fitness club making everyone run around bonfire.
 (It was a lagging experience.) omg that pun tho
I also remember seeing a neon-cloured "Barack Obama" character.
The weirdest RP i've seen down there was probably a role play for squirrels. Yeah...

Woop! Woop! It's Friday.

The title pretty much explains it all,
but this doesn't necessarily have to be filled with likes,
feel free to suggest what you may dislike about the forums/in-game too.

If you could pick 3 things that you like/dislike about the forums/in game,
what would they be?  {They don't have to be unique to FeralHeart, just things you like about it}

What I like about FeralHeart:

1. Well.. Role-playing
2. The awesome staff!
3. The derpyness


What I dislike about FeralHeart:

1. Map Claimers
2. People who break the rules in general
3. Lag (xD).

Game Discussion / Unrealistic Characters VS The Truth?

Please ignore the crazy title. xD  Keep in mind that I'm honestly just thinking out loud here and this is probably incredible inaccurate..
Alrighty, lets begin.

So lately there's been many rants about "unrealistic" people and "illiterates" bothering RPs and such.  But wait a second.  Lets take Fluorite Plains for example, it has crystals in the ocean.  In other words, it can't be completely realistic.  So when people who look slightly "illiterate" ask to join in the role play, I think it's incredibly rude to say no to them.  Because yes, they may not have the best roleplaying skills in the world, but the maps aren't even completely realistic themselves, so for all we know, that "unrealistic" person might just be the most "realistic" character in that map.  So how can we say no to someone who wants to be different and creative?  It's a crazy thought and most probably completely untrue but oh well.
So, what am I trying to say here?
I'm saying that we, as a community, shouldn't even think about neglecting those "unrealistic" and "illiterate" users from role-plays.  If it is their roleplaying that is the issue then how did you learn how to properly role-play?  Everyone has to start somewhere!  I think we should look out for our fellow roleplaying newbs and help them.  And at the end of the day, who are we to judge someone's character based off what they decided to appear as?  It's their character.  Therefore, their choice.

I'm not sure, what do you guys think?  Do you think it's right to deny them from role-plays?  Because I feel like I watch it happen way too much and it makes me rather sad to watch them get neglected from all the fun. :c

-.Backstory.-
Katara was born into a small pride living at the edge of a rich valley where the land started to become more dry and the air wasn't as cool.  Her father -- Aaron and mother -- Mara were strong and proud leaders of their pride and good, loving parents to Katara and her brother -- Keb.  There were four other neighbouring prides scattered around the valley but Katara believed there wasn't a pride as strong and loving as hers.  In the late hours of the evening after there had a successful hunt and the pride had turned in early; satisfied from their kill and eager to rest after the long day, the left-over carcass had previously lured a pack of wild dogs who were now lurking amongst the tree line.
Katara woke from her nightmare, noticing a cool presence around her.  She got chills from the thought and cuddled up closer to her brother and pride-mates for warmth.  She could hear the noise of laughing hyenas and suspected it was all in her mind. Just another dream...She thought.  As she began to drift off into a deeper and calmer sleep - another thought came to her. What if this...Isn't a dream?
She opened her eyes slowly, scared from the thought and felt a burning sensation as her dark green eyes met with the cool night air.  From the position she was in, she could see the entrance to their cave and quite more clearly - a pack of wild dogs surrounding the carcass.  Her heart skipped a beat and quickly got up from underneath her mother's paw and padded quietly to the cave entrance; the moonlight barely meeting her face as she watched the dogs tear apart the rest of their kill.  In a panic, she walked to her brother - trying not to wake up the others - and impatiently said his name as urgent and softly as she could.  Kat worryingly told her brother, who curiously went to the entrance himself to get a closer look at the dogs.  A large, strong paw suddenly pulled them both back.  Their father Aaron, placed them firmly behind their mother who was awake now and wide-eyed as she cautiously kept a close eye on her two cubs and pride.  Aaron crept closer to the cave entrance, sheltered by the shadows with only his bright orange optics carefully observing their only escape route.  In his mind he scolded himself for not disposing of the carcass.  Now look what you've done.
Keb managed to wriggle out of his mothers grasp and recklessly raced beside his father.  Mara firmly said his name in a hushed tone but he ignored it.  Aaron was too focused on the dogs to notice his son, instead he began to hover further from the cave, knowing he wouldn't be spotted if he remained within the darkness.  Keb followed his father proudly and marched behind him, quickly giving away him and his father.  The dogs scowled and lowered their heads as their tails fell between their hind legs.  It was only a matter of time.  The other lions, hidden inside the cave ran out in front of Aaron and his son - committing to their trust and protecting them.  Aaron gave a subtle look to his mate.  Mara picked Katara up by the scruff of her neck and ran into the woods - deserting their pride and Keb.




~Katara is one of my favourite characters so i'll probably end up adding more to her bio in the future :]
