A soft hum fills your quiet room; you peer upwards, seeing the dust flecks float within the sun rays flowing through your window curtains. Your eyes opened a little more, looking through your open door. It was quiet throughout your house; no-one stirred.
You were left in charge of the house for two weeks, left alone by yourself. It seemed nice, peaceful, and a perfect time to purely enjoy yourself. You gave a sigh of relief; after getting out of bed and getting dressed, for the most part, you decided to invite a few friends over. You were home alone, and as much as you liked that, you hated being lonely. You sat on your couch, choosing to get ready for your "party" later; you did say that your friends could bring a guest, as long as they behaved themselves.
Quickly growing bored, you went back upstairs, getting ready for your party. While doing so, you stumbled across a doll. It was in perfect condition, though edged over on the creepy side. You had, honestly, no idea where it came from or when you had received it; that was pretty much all that was racing through your mind. You kept it, but nowhere near your room; placing it gently with your mother's antique collection. It fit right in.

Plot
There is a party that is about to start within a few hours, it's in a secluded, though very rich, housing area - there are very few neighbors around, and the closest is ten miles away, on both sides. Those who are coming are mainly friends of the host, though there are a few that barely know the host as well - they're all eighteen to twenty-one, so old enough to fend for themselves.
There's a murderer going around, though nobody's sure of who the said murderer is. They're bound to find out soon enough, atleast.

Forum Discussion / How much Character Planning do You do?
« on: September 11, 2014, 08:44:13 pm »
Another obvious question, but I'm going to ask anyway. How well thought out are your characters?
Now, what I mean is - how much planning do you go into for a, as an example, single members of a, possibly, made-up species? Maybe you're not able to tell others exactly how you want your character to specificly act, but the forum and in-game bios, etc., make you feel slightly upset. Maybe you do little to no planning for a specific handful of characters.

The reason I ask is mainly to see how much of an "OCD-head" - as my cousin rudely calls me - I really am by planning out a single species (which may or may not be an open species later) in a journal.

Forum Discussion / How do YOU Pronounce Your -sona's Name?
« on: September 06, 2014, 05:20:51 pm »
-Clears throat-
As the title states, how do you pronounce your -sona's, or any characters in general, name?
My personas have simple names, Wolfie and Jagged Skies; however, I have multiple characters who have harder to pronounce names.

These are just a few names, so sorry about that.

Delathan: I just pronounce how it's spelled, though I've heard a different way, "Delithan" was how they pronounced it. -Shrug-
Heitoa: To be completely honest, I don't really know how to pronounce his name "correctly" (if there even is a correct way), so I say "Heytoeh" to pronounce his name. I guess that's one way, but I dunno.
Thalon: Again, I just pronounce how it's spelled. I haven't heard a different way of saying it yet.
Grou: For him, I say "Geroah" to pronounce it. One of my friends pronounces it like the first part of 'group'.
Kaletho: Just the way it's spelled, though I've heard "Kaul-to" and "Cailthe".
That's pretty much how I think I pronounce my characters' names, so how do you pronounce yours?

Game Discussion / Favorite Type of Role-Play?
« on: September 04, 2014, 02:58:45 am »
As the title sates, what are your favorite kind of role-plays? Not like characters, but like topics, and why.
Post-apocalyptic, random, etc. - it doesn't really matter to me, I just want to know.

Personally, anything to deal with zombies, pirates, spies, or anything that presents a heavy, working challenge for my character(s), though I'd never mix the two myself (unless the other has a character like that).
What I mean by a challenge is anything to put them in danger (i.e.: sinking of a ship, physical and horrendous monster(s), etc.) or Man vs. Environment or something that just presents a challenge that makes it difficult for the character.
I do have my spurs of random role-plays, of course, but I'd rather have a major problem for my character.

Discussion Board / Pets?
« on: August 18, 2014, 12:28:48 pm »
So, I've been told I have a lot of pets (for a person that lives in an apartment in the middle of the city, I guess they're right. -Small laugh-) and wondered if anyone else has been told the same.
This is Zeke, my Red-Eared Slider. He's about five years.

These are my rats - Levi Heichou (also called Corporal; left) and Germany (right). They're only four-five months old.

And finally my two cats, Dante (bottom) and Spaz (top). They're both about six years.

Game Discussion / Overreactions?
« on: August 18, 2014, 04:20:07 am »
So, I've been hanging around StoneBridge more often, especially at later times (since no-one's really on, I don't have to worry about lagging too much), and every night I - more often than not - run into different members, obviously. We sometimes discuss things, though there's almost always an overreaction towards me. Well, not as much as it is me, but rather my opinions and/or facts. I'm not pointing out specific members (for two reasons), but I always feel slightly pushed around whenever they do this.
Now, they could be younger than me as they might not understand what I was trying to say, but if they were, they could've re-read what I was trying to say (as I often try to explain myself when explaining something, due to obvious reasons) and maybe come at a level-understanding. But, instead, they bash what I say and use caps lock against me. In real life, whenever I get this reaction via online, I normally laugh it off, especially since it doesn't happen to me often. But now, I used my personal opinion and experience behind a reasoning, and was hurtfully bashed - I don't often express my opinion unless I feel the need to, so yes, this hurt me more than it probably should've.
I was called a "moron" and that I didn't "know anything about the topic", but once I blocked them, I was told that I offended them - told from a friend of their's via Whisper. Now, their friend was calm and I was perfectly fine with them talking to me, what I wasn't fine with was their friend bashing me. I scoffed at their answer, but then said, "Can you please tell them to calm down, it was only my opinion." I was then blocked by their friend.
-Sigh- I don't even know what I did to even deserve to get blocked; I only wanted the possible younger to calm down! Instead, I had a person on my blocked list and was put on someone else's.

Discussion Board / I've a Question...
« on: August 12, 2014, 10:19:48 am »
Dear Admins/Mods/etc. - if you find this topic too mature/serious/etc., then feel free to lock it. I felt like I needed to bring it up as I don't see many people talking about this.

I've been thinking about the different types of characters and people there are in the world. Now, with different people and character, comes different sexualities.
I see a lot of homosexual and bisexual characters in the world of FeralHeart, but never any others. I've a demiromantic asexual wolf, Pyp, but people just don't really understand about other sexualities (besides homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual) unless they were raised on it or taught it.
I know that the FeralHeart community is very welcoming to others, no matter what language they normally speak, race, etc. Why I bring up sexuality is because I feel that there should be more wolves/cats/aliens/people/whatever with sexualities other than homo or hetero sexualities. Now, I know that a lot of the players are younger and don't really understand what other sexualities - or sexuality, even - are/is, which is why they don't understand it, but what about the older players?
I think that if your character has [blank]sexuality and/or [blank]romance, then it makes it have a more unique, creative spill, you know? (I refer to a "spill", since having a new character is like a clean, new canvas. Art, basically.)
Now, don't get upset with me, I'm not saying that I hate other sexualities, or that every character is gay or bisexual (in fact, a lot of characters I meet don't have a preference as far as I know, and it changes as we role-play). I'm just curious to why every pack, Clan, etc. I join has direct sexualities (most are hetero, too, interesting, huh?) or romances, which slightly confuses me and makes me feel like the black sheep of the group.

Well, if you don't really get what I'm trying to say, let me show you an example. Let's say that I'm making myself a FeralHeart in-game character bio. Now, I'm a demiromantic asexual person, meaning I can only form crushes with people that I know and trust, but do not like any gender nor sex in a sexual way. Now, if we were making a bio for my mother, she would be a heterosexual heteroromantic person.
See what I mean, though?
Heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality are pretty common nowadays, which is why the other sexualities are considered "fake" by those who aren't educated - or atleast don't know about - the other sexualities.

Well, that's all for me, atleast.

Art Gallery / Whoops, My Hand Slipped [Wolfie's Art]
« on: August 10, 2014, 09:52:09 am »
"Floofetts and floofs alike, come 'round, come 'round! Come one, come all - come see Wolfie's average art; we've got the nerdiest nerds, the humans, shipping, and much, much more!"

Heyo~! I've some art to share, only in hopes to keep this an active thread unlike my many, many hundreds of different threads on my many, many hundreds of pages.
Now, without further ado, let's get on with the average-looking art.

Wolfie / Angel

Here's one of Angel, I had a lot of fun drawing this one - it was my first picture on my new art program (FireAlpaca). I, honestly, love this picture and I'm extremely proud of it.

This is Wolfie, my obvious persona. I thought this was easy to draw, and color, but it was an honest mistake as I tried drawing another. -Small laugh- This picture of her was my avatar for some while, and is on multiple sites.

This is my current DeviantART picture, because I, honestly, loved this picture too. It's supposed to say "boring!" beside her, but due to the transparency and black background, it's blank.
William Veal and/or Rowdy Smith (Rowdiam)

So, this is a picture of William Veal's, my pirate character, boyfriend, Rowdy Smith - I'm not too happy about this one, since I grew tired of it and it even shows.
OCs o' mine

This is Riik Veldeva, my elf character. I'm so, so, so proud of this - despite his ear being misplaced and a few of the blur effects gone wrong.

This is Wyndle, one of my favorite characters so far; he's basically just a winged human with a bird tail, which I forgot in the picture.

This is Timer, the first human-ish OC to be drawn on FireAlpaca for me. She's not really human, but she's also not really anything besides sand - it's a bit difficult to understand. uwu"

This is Princely, whom I don't use anymore sadly. He's just a nomadic wolf who's looking for a pack that meets his standards in hopes to probably settle down.

This is Lucas "tumblr" Higgens. He's basically the personification of the website tumblr, and is best friends with Twitter.

Meet Marcelo Mosca, an Italian OC of mine. I've yet to actually role-play him, sadly, but I'm waiting for the right moment. This was supposed to be a reference sheet, but I grew too lazy of it, and his name's supposed to be on it - again, black background and transparency with me aren't the best of friends.

This is another persona of mine, Jagged Skies. I have no clue how to draw a deer, which is what he basically is but in a human-ish form. He just has antlers, caribou ears, and a tail.

This is Fraine, a Gray Warden OC. This is my actual character in the Dragon Age: Origins (will be also my character in Dragon Age II, once I finish Origins), which is why she's a Gray Warden despite most being wiped out completely.

So, those are my characters, at the moment atleast. I might add a few more pictures at a later date, but I'm currently unsure of that at the moment - I do want this to remain active, so it's almost a definitely.
I may also do requests in the later future, though I'm not sure of when exactly if I do.
Despite that, I hope you enjoy these average-looking pictures~!

In-Game Roleplay & Group Advertisement / Socially Typing
« on: August 09, 2014, 12:59:08 am »
Socially Typing is a human role-play that revolves around social media - hence the name. We pretty much just goof around and role-play (what else would you do on FeralHeart, though? -Small laugh-), and as far as I'm concerned, we're pretty active.
We're literate - atleast during role-play - and pretty much realistic, besides coat patters (but we're humans, what does it matter?) and we're pretty fun to be around. So far we only have six members, including me (which would be tumblr, Twitter, DeviantART, Skype, Instagram, and Youtube).
If you wanna join, you can most likely find me (I'd be tumblr) at Stone Bridge. If I'm not on tumblr, then you can Whisper me at JaggedSkies - or if I'm not online, you can just go here.
