Unable to properly install FH

Hi all!

I decided to open up FH after a few years of not playing for nostalgia's sake. I opened the game and was told I needed to download the patch.

I uninstalled FH to have a clean slate, then downloaded the .exe file from the Download page. Then I replaced the old .exe file in the FeralHeart folder with the patch, but when I try to run the game, Windows gives me an error: 'The parameter is incorrect.'

Any ideas for what could be happening? Has anyone else had this issue?

I have never experienced this error with Feral Heart but seems like is a simple error of the pc? I'm not sure either at all! I haven't seen an error like this, but I briefly went over one of the links and it seems to say the game has gotten an input outside it's allowable range. You did install a fresh FH yes? No mods? No presets? No maps?

i am also using windows. im sure its a windows 10. i never heard about this issue. maybe research it, but if u dont find anything the staff and all the others are here for you!

Did you install FH onto an external hard drive?
