Title: "Hacking Attempt..."
Post by: ~Stargazer~ on December 29, 2013, 03:27:24 pm
I know I've probably asked this more than once but I'll ask it again. I tried changing my signature and instead of changing it brings me to the "An error has occurred!" Page. And it says "Hacking Attempt...". Is this perhaps a glitch in the forums? What did I try to hack? xD Does anyone else get these messages or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Could have something with the information you add into your signature and how it's listed. In all honesty I don't know quite for certain why or when this pops up, but some people get this from time to time. Could have something with how the tables list on the server your signature information.

Have you tried just changing your signature to something simple like plain text "Just some text" or similar and try to submit that? And if so, does it say the same thing or does it work then.

Yes, it does in fact work when I do that. I have tried adding a picture, changing/re arranging the text around to see if that works but nothing yet.

Did you put an apostrophe? (Example: It's good.) If so, that is what it is causing it...happened to me. I don't know why it does that, but just keep away from apostrophes in your signature.

Nope :P No apostrophes here. And it worked when I rearranged the text a lot. So, I guess you can say this is solved?

Could you post an "insert code" function of your signature code in the thread?
