I know this has been answered a billion times, but another problem has come up for me relating to that. Ive unblocked FH from my firewall, and my internet works fine. The thing is, if i try and login though the page online, i end up getting taken to a screen that gives me viruses. (bless avast for blocking them.) I don't know if this is my computer or the FH website itself but I'd really appreciate some help.

You're not the only who gets directed to those ads when signing in to the log-in page. Although they can get quite bothersome, the ads are a necessary part of keeping the game up and running for everyone to enjoy.
Aside from that, are you connecting to the game alright or are you still experiencing difficulties? I wasn't quite sure from the description, if it was simply the ads bothering you or FH still not wanting to connect.

Also to add on what Panzram said, I'm pretty sure that these ads won't give you any viruses. I've never had a problem with them. I just close the pop up window.

It won't give you any viruses :) Don't worry. All you have to do is to close that pop up window :D

Yes, it never gave me any viruses :) just close pop up window

I just tried to login on the page here to play but I'm not getting the "keep this page open while you play" message, i just get sent back to the play game login page. FH just isn't connecting, i guess.

Re-enable adblock if the pop-ups bother you.
Safety is still important.
Try and see if you can use another browser.

It normally sends you back to the same page once. Sometimes it happens to me where it won't connect.. i have to dump the browser cache and that normally fixes it.
