The Schatten-Eckzahn is German for Shadow Canine.
They have back ears, slightly large heads and slender bodies with little fur. They have eyes pushed forwards, and long fangs. They have larger eye sockets than most canines. They have dark fur, hence the name. And they have short, thick-muscled tails. The ref:
