Nightmare patrolled the border while marking places that seemed to lack the pack's ownership. He had just become the Alpha after the new rules where set down for the two packs and he could feel the tension between them. Sighing, he sat down to think about the events. Why did he half to be chosen as the Alpha? His brother would have done the job better then him since he felt uncomfortable with the new rules.

Ugh I want to fly but I can't.. stupid pups push me into a thorn bush. She grumbles as she walks down the boreders. She wasn't on boreder patrol she just liked walking them to calm down. She sits down, not noticing the wolf next to her, shes very absent minded like that sometimes. She scrabbles at the dirt with her paws. Her white and blue wings stay neatly folded against her sides.

Nightmare, already wanting to act as a normal and dominant Alpha, curled his lips back at the Fading Echoes wolf. He always felt nervous around wolves with wings from his birth. "Stay on your side of the border!" he hissed, hackles raising in a threat.

"Huh?" She looks over and leaps to her feet crouching, her teeth beared "I didn't even do anything!" Her tough muscles showed through her dense fur. "Look i'm not here to cause problems, so calm yourself down wolf." She was annoyed that he thought she would do somthing to him. "Why are our packs in disagreement anyway?"

Nightmare sighed at her last saying. "Because of the new rules that have been put down on the packs." he replied, stiffening.

"Its stupid if you ask me." She sits down. She was still on guard but she figured he wouldn't hurt her because of the rules. "The rules suck, wolves should be able to pick their mate on their own terms, not someone elses."

Nightmare turned his head to make sure that no wolf from his pack where eavesdropping. He then turned back to her, a tired look on his face. "My father was very inconsiderate. He cheated on my mother for a winged wolf and she cheated on him. I guess that's how he made up the rules ..." he trailed off, deep in thought.

"Oh... But its still stupid... I'm sorry though."She dips her head in respect for the alpha. "I'm Sueka, and you are?" She wanted to be nice to this wolf, it seemed he has enough problems as it is.

"It's no biggie, I hated my father anyways," Nightmare replied, stretching out on the ground. "Nightmare. Nice name Sueka."
He remebered his fathers last words up on the rock where both packs always gathered on full moons. He was a warrior at the time and stuck to his mothers side at all times.

"Thank you, your not to much of a Nightmare." She said teasingly. "We should be able to make our own decisions, don't you think?" She asked. Her mothers words always had been repeated in her mind ever since she said them Make your own decisions and don't let anyone jerk you around. She sighs wishing she could do that better.

Nightmare chuckled. "I guess I'm not ... yet. Your right there." he replied, blinking and scratching marks in the dirt around him. He then pointed his nose to the sky, studying it with little interest.

She rolls her bright blue eyes and looks at the sky "Do you wish you had wings? You know so you could feel free? Like you could go anywhere?" She sighed knowing she can't fly herself. Her wings were injured and won't be healed for a bit. She hasn't flew for months, mostly because she hasn't wanted to fly, especially not with her pack. She didn't feel free anymore, she felt as if she was bound to the pack and could never leave or feel free.

Nightmare cocked his head. "Why? Will you heal?" he asked.

"I don't know, neither do the healers. Bad healers if you ask me..." She sighs "When I flew I felt free, but after all of these new rules I feel trapped." She looks at him sadly her blue eyes full of pain.

"Hey, don't cry," Nightmare felt pity for her. "I'll ask Shade if she can get Kyla to help you." he said, nuzzling her before leaping back over the border.

"You would help me? Even though were basicly different species?" But we're still the same! She wanted to howl. She was still sad even though she felt a little better that he would help. She gently touches her nos to his chest. But quickly goes back to her side of the boreder "Sorry..."

"Bye.." She whispered, turning and trotting away. Her tail swung gracfully back and forth as she walked. Eventually she arrived home. Her paws ached a little but she didn't care. Something inside her dwelled, and yet she wasn't sure what. She remembered his scent, it seemed to cling there, in the air. Do I smell like him? Crap! She smelled where he had nuzzled and of course it did. Uh oh please don't smell me.. She thought hurridly trotting back to her little den in the back of the camp.

Danzel lay on top of a large boulder, wings spread out and draped over the rock, like his legs. He yawned widely, before placing his head between his to front paws. He spotted the female coming back from where ever she had been. He grinned, tail giving one lazy wag.
"It's a great day isn't it!"
He called out to her.

Sara Padded Up To Nightmare. "Is There Anything You Want me To Do, Nightmare?" She said, Flicking Her Tail.
Temptation Was Walking, Rather Proudly yet With a Sexy Grace. She then Padded Up To Shade. "I will Go And Do Border Patrols" She said, Her Light Eyes Looking at Shade.

Shade turned her slender and well built head to Temptation. "I would like you to lead a hunting party with Sueka, please." she replied, feeling slightly irritated at Temptation's sexy actions.
Nightmare smiled at Sara. "No, nothing at the moment. Just a small hunting party with you and Lycos would do." he replied, giving her a gentle nudge to the shoulder.

Temptation Gave a Nod of Her Head, She had Obey The Alpha. "Okay. Sueka, Danzel, Come with Me. We're Going Hunting" She barked and Then Walked, Normally, Towards The Hunting Grounds. She Flapped Her Golden and White Wings and soared into The Air.
Sara nodded. "Okay. Lycos, Let's Go" She said and Then Started to Walk Towards The Hunting Grounds, Her White and Pink Fur Rustled By A Slight Breeze.

Shade watched them go. "Sueka, be careful of your wing." she warned loudly so they could hear before flapping her wings in a take-off.
Lycos padded up next to Sara, giving her his general, goofy, shark-toothed grin.

She sighs and walks through the hunting grounds, not taking flight. "This sucks." She moans. She keeps her eyes out for prey but finds none. She sniffs the air and yet catches nothing. Is somthing wrong with me? She thought. She breaks through her thoughts relizing she almost stepped into the wolves territory. "Stupid." She scolded, walking the boreder.

Shade then patrolled the territory from above, quickly scanning the trees and clearings for anything. Her eyes caught nothing suspicous.
Kyla walked out of her den, head low in her automatic submission. She watched Shade zipping gracefully in the sky and smiled. She folded her wings neatly against her back and basked in the warm morning sun.

Danzel gave a little sigh as he slipped off his boulder, tucking his wings to his side. He looked Temptation, giving his wings a little shake.
"Any idea of where we should look? I thought I saw deer tracks the other day, but they could have left the territory already."

Jolt looks around the camp seeing for something to do. He shakes his head and decides to take a quick fly around the area for food. He takes off with power and grace as he is lifted into the sky. He red and black fur seem to burn like fire in the light.
She sighs as she knows she can't fly or her wing will worsten. She stays along the boreder scenting every now and then. She sits down mad at herself "I hate this! I'm no use to my pack, I can't do anything, I'm a winged wolf that can't fly I'm so pathetic!" She snarls.

Sara gave Lycos a Smile and Then Started Running, She had The Scent of a Deer. She pushed Herself To Run Even Faster. "Come on, Lycos!" She cried, jumping over logs and other things in the way. It was almost like She was a Winged Herself, But She knew, Winged Wolves were different from Regulars.
Temptation looked at Danzel, Smelling the Air. "I can smell the scent of a deer, No wait, A Fawn" She commented, Her Yellow Eyes scanning down below, searching for that Fawn.

Lycos quickly sped up so he was just behind her. "Did you smell anything?" he called in between pants.
Shade flew back down to the den site, landing quietly in front of Kyla. "Good morning sleepy head." she greeted the healer and smiled kindly at her. She then noticed Jolt from above and sighed.

Sara looked at Lycos. "I can Smell a Deer Herd" She commented, Pushing Herself Furthur.

Jolt swoops down and claws the back of a small deer. (Not the deer the smelled.) Its legs flail as it falls, quivering. It dies quickly because it had been young, but with a lot of meat on him. He lands and throws the deer over his back, only to take off again. He returned to camp and plops the deer down. "Shade, you should eat." He murmered leaping up onto a basking rock. His wings out stretch, soaking up the sun.
She knew she would get in tons of trouble but she gets up and trots into the wolves area. Screw this, I can go where I want... She thought. She walked around the area with her head held high and her wings tucked in. She stayed in the shadows so she couldn't be seen that well. Her steps where light and gentle so she could bearly be heard. She wasn't really spying or anything, she just wanted to see what its like over here, plus Nightmare had said he would talk to his healer... Sounds like a good reason if i'm caught...

"Nice catch," Lycos praised, giving her a smile. "And speaking of a Fading Echoes wolf in our territory, I think we should alert Nightmare before we do anything further, don't you think?"
Nightmare sighed, liking his alone time in the den site. He smiled slightly, remebering Sueka across the border. "Why all of these new rules?" he questioned himself. "Well, I guess they sort of make some sense ..." he admitted, trailing off.
Shade thanked Jolt. She took a few bites out of the deer, enjoying it's juicy flavour. "Kyla, you look weak, I think you need some breakfast." she commented, looking at the skinny Healer.
"N-no, I'm fine, just the new rules are getting to me," Kyla stammered, a bit scared to let what she really thought about the new rules to the Alpha Female.

"This place is nice..." She whispers. Finding a tree with a small den thing made under it she dug deeper and made it wider for her to lay in. She crawls in and keeps her wings folded close. She lays down and thinks about why shes even in this territory. Why am I here? To adventure, to feel free.... To see Nightmare She sighs and rests her head, staring at thr ground outside.

Tarlar padded up from behind Nightmare, feeling flirty. "Hello, Nightmare." she smiled, swiping her long tail back and forth across the Alpha's chin with a smile.
Nightmare whipped around towards her. He growled. "Stay here and guard the den site, I'm going to patrol the border." he replied, padding away. He then smelt the scent of Sueka and sighed, tracking the scent until he found the den. He sniffed, knowing she was in there. "Sueka?" he whispered. "What are you doing here?"

Sara nodded and started Drag it, Luckily With Her Help From Lycos. Then They Came Across Nightmare But When She Saw Who Was With Him, She started To Growl. "Why is this Winged In Our Territory, You Should Know The New Rules" She snarled, raising her tail.

Sara looked at Nightmare. "She doesn't Seem Lost, It's Seems She Knows This is Winged Territory, As I smelt Her Scent. She went here deliberately" She growled.

Aubney shifted slightly, her body covered in moss and leaves as she slept. Now drawing herself out of her slumber she slowly rose her head. Leaves falling gracefully from her cranial structure down onto the den floor and onto her limbs. Yawning, her pink tongue rolling from behind her incisors to swipe over her muzzle. Standing slowly she shook her pelt, sending the debris flying over the den floor. Flexing her toes and stretching her forearms she gave yet another content yawn. Standing still for a few more minutes before she trotted happily from her den. Alert violet hues darting back and forth to see what was going on about around the pride.

Nightmare sighed and nudged Sara's shoulder with his muzzle. "As an Alpha, I will handle this," he barked. "And you and Lycos need to get that deer to the den site."
Lycos's tail stiffened. "But-"
Nightmare's black ears swilved forwards, his lips curled back into a growl. He bite the warrior's muzzle. "Listen to your Alpha!" he snapped.

Name: Rythm
Age: 3
Gender: Male
Personality: Rythm is quiet and ambitious. He loves trying to do his best and not letting others down. He can be flirty when he sees a female he quite likes, though he usually tries to act calm. He does not panic in serious situations, rather, he looks for a quick solution. Rythm is able to memorise things easily. He is disorganised though, and loses things rather quickly.
Description/picture: Rythm has shades of brown in his pelt, with dark maroon toes. His muzzle is the lightest spot on his pelt, being a bright tan. His tail is quite long with matching length fur. Even though his tail fur is long, his body fur is short. He has a back mane that runs down to the base of his tail. His hair covers only a bit of his eyes, and is a very glossy maroon. Rythm's wings run from a dark to light red, matching his toes and hair.

Lycos nodded to both wolves, tail tucked under his stomache in submission as he followed Sara.
Nightmare wighed and watched them go. "Sueka, you have to go, I don't want to raise any suspision." he whispered urgently to the winged wolf.

Sueka sighs "I know... Its just I don't feel very welcomed." She shrugged, scrabbling out of the den. She shakes off her long very panting "I'm sorry." She sits down being stubborn. She really didn't want to leave even though she kinda had to.
Jolt sighs and gets up "Hey Shade." He flirts nipping at her ear playfully "Wanna go hunt?"

Shade felt annoyed at his actions of nipping at her ear. "Yes," she agreed, noticing the lack of food for the pack. She nudged Kyla's shoulder gently. "Take care of everything." he barked to her friend.
Nightmare flattened his ears against the back of his head. "I'm gonna get into a lot of trouble if you stay here any longer," he whispered anxiously. He began to nudge her near the border line. "Please?"

Temptation Was Flying With a Good Kill When Suddenly She saw Sueka and Nightmare Together.
She snarled and Flew Down, Landing In-Between Them. "Sueka, What The Hell are You Doing in Broken Territory?" She snarled, showing Her Beta Behavior.

Nightmare snarled at Temptation. "Both of you, get out of our territory or I'll show you what the wingless wolves are really made of, understand?" he hissed.

Rythm drifted through the air, riding on the current. The gusts of wind propelled him through the brightly lit sky.. His light teal goggles covered his eyes, and he did a couple of twirls in the air. The sun gleamed off his flowing, glossy hair. Oh how he loved the wind and sun. A large grin crept across his snout. He spread his wings out as wide as they could go, which was very wide, considering he had an unusally wide wingspan. Each individual feather moved with the breeze. His long tail trailed behind him. Stretching his paws outward, he dived down. Rythm was attempting to land, but he got caught up in the wonderful weather and his wing hit the top of a tree. Losing his graceful balance, he fell straight to the ground, landing on his side. "Oof!" He breathed as the wind was knocked from his chest. He didn't know it, but he landed near Nightmare and Sueka.

Sueka snarled standing up "Bite me!" She snarled at Temptiation. Snarling, she trots away but whispers "Can we meet at the border line tonight?" She whispered to Nightmare so quietly that only he could hear.
"Ok fun." He smiles "After you my lady." He jumped down from the rock and huffed out a breath as he landed. His muscles bulged from his body, but not like he was showing off, he couldn't help it.

Nightmare quickly followed the wolves as they left the territory and flicked his tail in a yes to Sueka, feeling guiltly at his decision. Your gonna become exiled before you know it, he thought, keeping a close eye on them.
Shade nodded her thanks.

Temptation Gave a Growl. "I'm Wondering Why Sueka Is Here. Just so You know, She was suppose To Be In A Hunting Party With Me, Nightmare" She said darkly. She snarled and Pinned Down Sueka and Nipped Her Neck. "I am The Beta, Do not Disobey Me!" She snarled.
Sara came out from Behind Him. "Nightmare, I put the Meat Back at The Den" She said, flicking Her Beautiful Tail Slightly.

Nightmare turned to Sara and gave her a smile. "Thank you," he said, beginning his way back to the den site, tail low. He glanced at the crescent moon on his shoulder, beginning to wonder why it was there at all.

Rythm sucked in another breath. Standing up, he winced as he set is right paw down. Darn trees. He cursed. Rythm's ears perked to a fight. Temptation. He stolled over to where the two were at. Calmly he sat down. "Do you have to be so bossy?" He shot a look at Temptation.

(Ooh she's in troubleee) Sueka snarls and shoves the wolf off and running back across the boreder. "Screw this!" She says opening her blue wings. She launches herself into the air, not caring how much the pain overwhelmed her. She soon landed at camp and near her den. She plops herself down right when she landed. If they find out i'm dead... But I really like him... If I don't try then how would I know it would even work.
"Where shall we hunt miss?" He says smiling hoping he wasn't sounding annoying.

Shade put on a thoughtful look. She began to lead him towards a large meadow, knowing it was a place where deer often grazed. "Here," he replied. "Plenty, as you can see." she motioned with her black tail towards the herd of does, a stag, and three fawns.

Rythm watched Sueka fly off. His piercing eyes rested on Temptation again, waiting for an answer. Meanwhile, he tucked his large wings back to his sides, lifting his right paw off of the ground. The wolf slid his teal goggles back upon his head and out of his eyes.

Temptation looked at Rythm. "I'm The Beta, I worked Hard To Earn This Rank. Now, Can You Please Help Me Carry This Kill" She said, Carrying One Side.
Sara nodded and followed Nightmare, Coming Beside Him. "You Know, I don't totally agree with The New Rules About Us and The Winged, You Know" She said, looking at him.

Nightmare was startled at this. "I do too, but I'll follow them to stay Alpha if I must . . ." he trailed off, lost in his thoughts at the new rules his father had lied down.

Rythm blinked his eyes as a sign of alright. Padding over, he forgot about his paw and set it down, tripping forward. He caught himself though, and grasped the opposite side of the carcass. Before lifting into flight, he pulled down his goggles and turned to glance at the Wingless wolves. How weird they were, without wings. They didn't seem any harm, though, and he wished very much he could become friends with some of them, to learn their flightless ways. He turned his head back around and lifted into the air.

Jolt nodded and crouched, rounding off the ways for the deer to excape. He looks at her giving a faint nod telling her hes ready.
Sueka sighs getting up from her den. As she walked through camp she noticed Jolt and Shade gone. "Huh." She said out loud a bit confused. Well Jolt did say he had a crush on her... She thought with a smile, happy for her friend.

"Bring it towards me, I'll attack from above." Shade whispered her order to the male and took flight soundlessly into the light blue sky. She loved the wind whistling past her and the feel of being able to see things from up above.

Jolt nods and stalks towards the deer. The ears of the deer perked as it starred blank, faced and listening. Without warning Jolt sprints towards the deer and makes it run towards Shade, he keeps it in her path and chases it, waiting.

Shade swooped in for the kill. She flew strait down towards the deer's path, trapping it's scared figure. It skidded to a halt in front of her and she took her chance.
Shade dived in and quickly finished the fawn with a quick snap to the throat.

"You Basically Have No Competition, Except Lycos, Nightmare. But Lycos Is Loyal" Sara commented, her ears pricked.

Jolt skids to a halt in front of Shade nearly plowing into her. He laughs "Great kill Shade." He complimented.

As they landed in the camp, he sprawled out on the grassy floor. He looked like a house pet scratching it's back on carpet. He thrusted his paws in the air and, with a deep sigh, flopped to his side. He would need to see the Healer. Rythm's paw stung. His eyes fell on Sueka. She and Temptation seemed to be the only wolves here. Besides him, of course.

Nightmare shrugged his shoulders. "I know the big goof is like that. I don't think Tarlar would really care if she got exiled."
Kyla began taking bites from the deer that Shade had saved for her and smiled at the taste.
Shade nodded. "You did a good job as well."

"Hi Rythm." She says trotting up to him. "Wutcha doing?" She said boredly.
"Thanks. Do we need anymore or would you like to head back?" He asks kindly.

Shade shook her blue black head. "No, this should be enough for today." she replied, snatching up the dead fawn in her jaws. She motioned for Jolt to take the other end so they could both carry it.

He smiles and picks up the other half. "So how come you haven't been looking for your alpha male?" He muffled through the fat and fur of the deer.

Rythm looked up to Sueka. "Hey!" He thumped his tail welcomly on the ground, sitting up. "Just got back from the boarder. I had to help Temptaion carry the kill back." He regretted what he said. He wished he hadn't mentioned Temptaion, for she had obviously pissed off Sueka. "Erm, I fell flying." He lifted his paw, desprately trying to change subject. He laughed a bit, then inhaled. She smelled like those wingless wolves. Setting his paw down, he looked at her. "What are they like..?" quizzed Rythm in his low voice, making sure no one but Sueka heard him.

Sueka's face turned from pissed to a bit intrested. "Well.." She thought, sitting in front of Rythm. "The one I met, is sweet and comforting. I was feeling bad and he comforted me. He was basicly like he was one of us. Like a regular wolf." She smiled. "But then temptation ruined me talking to him..." She said with a quick blush, which quickly faded.

Shade's face began to blush. "Lets just say that I'm too busy caring for the pack to think about it right now," she replied through the fur, desperately not wanting to talk about Alpha Males.

Rythm's expression turned to a bit of a flirty one as he saw her blush. He nudged his friend once. "Ahh, I see." He grinned. Then his face changed to interested. "Like us?" He looked to the sky, then back at her. "I'd like to meet one one day. I hate these rules." He murmured. "We cannot even be friends."

She laughs quietly "Their not that bad really. Their just like us but without wings. Not much of a difference." She sighs "The rules suck.." She looks at the sky which was quickly darkening. "I'm gonna go patrolling real quick, you know just in case." She smiles slightly "Even though theres really nothing to protect." She whispers mainly to herself.
"Oh." Seeing she was getting a bit uncomfortable he just smiled "So, how have you been? You know other than taking care of the pack?" He was intested in her, he wanted to know how she was and basicly if shes ok with everything going on.

"Sueka's wing, although Kyla can't find the right herbs to cure it." Shade replied.

"I see." He knew what she meant. "I shall see you later." He smiled, his eyes closing so he looked like a very happy pup. Suddenly they opened, wincing. He needed to see Kyla. His leg was burning now. Padding away, he hoped it might distract others and they wouldn't ask where Sueka was heading. "Kyla..?" He whipped his head around the camp, looking for the healer.

"I saw her flying earlier... But the pain on her face was grave. I'm worried she won't be able to fly ever a again." He spoke caringly and hopefuly. "I hope it gets better.... Also." He had another question "What do you think of the new rules? I hear a lot of wolves say they hate them. Main one being Sueka.."
Sueka smiles and trots through the camp to the exit. She avoids Temptation and heads out of camp. She glances around the woods, shadows forming everywhere. The darkness soon surrounded her as she entered shadows.

"I agree with their sense," Shade replied. "But I can see that a war will start between both packs."

Rythm padded silently out of the camp. He was looking for Kyla. Limping, he was met with the light of the moon, making his hair glossier than ever. He looked across the border sadly. Couldn't we all just get along? Of course not. That's the order of nature.
He stopped, pricking his ears. He sensed movement. Then he spotted it. Rythm padded up to the border, looking at the wolf. She was apparently looking at the ground. Her fur scented of herbs. A healer. "Hello..?" He asked, his glossy hair covering his brightly lit eyes.

"I hope it won't come to an unnecesary battle." He mumbled. "Sueka said they aren't so bad." He bit his tongue Sueka's gonna kill you -.- He thought.
Sueka soon arrives at the border but feel as if she was being watched. She stay in the shadows, unseen and waits. She waits, laying on the cold, damp earth. Her coat clung to the mud. Thats going to take forever to clean... She thought.

Shade nodded. "I can see the sense. If someone does become mates with a wingless wolf and the battle begins, imagine the pain they would feel to have to fight their own mate." she replied, images flashing through her mind.

"The pain would be brutal, even from the deepest wounds it would hurt more." He sighed. The sky has darkened as the arrived at camp.

Shade smiled at the moon. It's silver strands cast it's light on her blue black fur, lightening it up until it transformed into a very highlighted shade of light gray. She walked into the camp and dropped the fawn on the ground with a plop. She smiled up at the stars, then went to visit Kyla about Sueka's wing.

Aubney walked slowly as she continued to sniff at the ground for anything that may smell familiar to a herb. It was at this point she caught a scent, yet she didn't bother with it at the moment until she heard the voice of the other. Her head jerked upwards, her violet hues darting around before they rested on the glossy-coated male. She paused before giving a smile trying not to appear rude. "Hi." She said quickly. Walking closer to him, but kept a speaking distance.
"I'm Aubney." Her voice was long and drawn out, in no obvious hurry to introduce herself now. Taking in his every detail of his appearance with curiosity. Sitting down lazily, feeling she hadn't the need to hurry back to her pack as long as she stayed on her side of the border she felt she was okay.

Lycos wandered around the den site, observing his surroundings like he always loved to do. He began to wonder why he even bothered. "Well, I'm goofy." he told himself.

She's a wingless wolf...I'm meeting one. Rythm was jerked out of his thoughts as the female spoke. She was obviously in no hurry. His brown hued ears perked upwards at the mention of her name. "Aubeny." The word felt weird on his tounge. "That's an intreseting name." He also sat, straight across from her, wraping his tail around his maroon toes. The moon bounced off the objects by them, making the world around him seem to glow. "I'm Rythm." He blinked. "I see you have no wings...don't you ever wish to fly? To feel the wind whip your face? To see the world from a new angle?" He pressed. He'd be lost without his wings.

"Aubney is pronounced like Aubrey, just with a N I suppose." She said with a nervous smile. She looked won at her toes, flexing them and allowing them to sink into the mud, before she paused and thought how annoying it was going to be once the mud dried and caked up on her paw pads. She gave a groan to herself before looking up at him. "I like that name." She said bluntly with a blank stared. Pausing for a moment to look up at the sky to the moon.. "I always did dream about flying, but not all dreams come true. " She looked over at him and smiled with a shrug. "I'm happy the way I am." She whispered contently closing her eyes for a few moments.

"Even better." He grinned at the way her name was pronounced. "Thank you." He looked away as she looked at her toes. He also felt a little nervous. "They can come true if you really want them to." He commented at last. Sure, it's not like she could grow wings, but she could still feel the wind on her face and the glorious veiws from above. Perhaps in his mountain cave.
"You are a healer...right?" To make sure he wasn't freaking her out, he added, "I could scent the herbs on your fur...." He shifted his weight onto his left leg. "Er, what herb is used for healing broken bones..?" He lifted his right paw, and it looked akward in the odd position it was in. "I don't think it's supposed to bend that way.." He added with a slight grin.

She gave a soft smile with a nod. Tilting her head afterward, a small furrow of her brows followed by a crinkle on her nose bridge. She grinned and shook her head. "I don't plan on growing wings so I don't see how that's possible." She gave a soft giggle and then became serious once her spoke of her rank. "Yes I am." She said with a happy nod, obviously proud of her position. Biting her lower lip gently for a moment upon seeing his right paw. Forgetting about the borders she stepped pass the imaginary line between packs to get a closer examination of his paw. Her features became soft and she tilted her head and shifted back and forth to get every detail of his paw. "Hm, herbs for broken bones consist of Nettles, Oatstraw, and Horsetail." She whispered mainly to herself, but it was audible enough for him to hear her. Looking up at him suddenly she gave a calming smile. "Flying accident?" She said before turning away. "I know where I can get some horsetail, not to far from here, I'll go get some."

Sueka looks around notcing Nightmare had not yet arrived. She sighs and sits up "Probaly off with his alpha duties..." She whispered to herself. She perked her ears hearing voices and walked the other way down the boreder. She could smell the wingless wolves from where she walked.

He nodded at her comment about the wings. "Yeah, bad landing." He rolled his should blades, shrugging. He watched her cross the border, but said nothing. "Horsetail..hmph. That's not a weird name.." His voice lining with sarcasm. His smile went away as a bristling pain shot up his arm. He tried to hide his wince by forcing a fake smile. He looked to her eyes, but oddly he looked away. He felt a little guilty. He shouldn't be speaking with a wingless wolf, and if anyone found him they would be pissed. "I'll come with you." He pushed his worries to the back of his mind. Rythm stood, looking to Aubney for directions. He noticed the moon gleam off her pelt, and his stomach tied into a knot. He was a bit nervous, so he tucked his wings in as close as they would go.
(Urgh, I only have 45 mins left. >.<)

She gave a crooked smile and nodded. "There is also Nettles around here, but those are further off." She gave a soft shrug and turned to trot off into the Broken Shadow's land. Her head lowered to keep a sharp eye on the ground. "They won't be happy campers if they know you're here." She said shuffling onward. With a glance back at him to make sure her followed. She gave a soft shake of her pelt and walked for several more minutes until coming to a patch of Horsetails. Pulling a few out of the ground she passed them over to him. "Ten grams of these per liter of water." She said quickly with another bite to her lower lip. "Will you be fine?" She questioned. "Well you have a healer in your pack. She should know about the horsetail. She'll fix you right up." She gave another nod to reassure herself.

His fur bristled as he stepped into the wingless wolf territory. He quickly stepped out of the territory. "..Probably kill me." He whispered. He padded along his side of the border. Rythm nodded to her instructions, and grasped the Horsetail in his mouth. His fur stood up when his muzzle touched hers, but he tried to make no notice of it. "Hank uo" He tried to thank her, but his mouth was full of horsetail.
(Lol, sorry for the typo spaz. I bet you were like "What's he sayin'??")

She released the horsetail slowly, trying not to drop any. She shivered slightly when his muzzle touched hers but made no apparent acknowledgment of it. "I hope you heal up just fine." She said softly before turning away. "I should head back before they realized I'm gone, you should too." She said looking back at him before slowly drifting back to her den.
(xD I was thinking that. I was confused there for awhile.

Rythm nodded. He watched the leave, looking to the ground and back up again. She dissapeared into the darkness of the shadows. Oh god, what have a done..? He needed to get back to camp. But first, he needed to hide the scent.
Runing back through the forest, he slipped into a stream by the camp. The water hid scents well. He'd just say he fell in if someone asked. His stomach hurt from being nervous. He entered camp, padding straight to his den. He hid the horsetail in the back. He nibbled on the edge of one. Turning around a couple of times, he lay down with his head on his paws. He tried to sleep, trying different positions but obviously he would not sleep, staring outside of his den into the gloomy darkness.

Sara arrived back, That's When She snarled. "What are Winged Doing Here" She snarled, Looking at The Pack's Healer. Her Hackles Were Raised and Tail High.

Aubney paused to stare at Sara, her nose crinkled in annoyance. "He never entered our territory, we stayed on our sides of the border." She said flatly before pushing past Sara. Pausing a few moments to swoop down and pluck a few Burdock leaves. Her head lowered as she continued on, no longer wanting to speak to Sara. Still finding the whole separation between the packs to be a silly choice, now seeing how gentle and calm they can be. Aubney had always pictured the winged wolves to be harsh and crude, but in fact they where just like us. Huffing gently she brushed her side against a tree, scratching her flanks against the rough bark.

Sara snarled and Pinned Aubney Down, Snapping and Nipping at Her. "Respect Your Beta!" She snarled, Swiping a Scratch at Her Face. "You do Not Push Pass With Me!, You Hear That!. Don't Piss Me Off Even more, I can Smell Their Scent In The Territory, In The Heart. Do You Want to Get Exiled!" She roared at Her.

"Sara, calm down, Aubney was just helping him," Nightmare soothed to the pink pelted female. Then he turned back around to the Healer. "I'm sure the Fading Echo's Healer can fix his paw up." he growled warningly before walking up to the winged wolf. "Stay out of our territory, and tell Kyla to do a better job when you get back." he growled at him.
Nightmare then walked up to Lycos. "Lycos, guard the den site while I'm gone, I'm going to be checking the border for any more winged wolves." he ordered before padding off.

Wind enveloped her light gray and Russian blue ears, her violet eyes gazed forward as far as they could see. Her body being curled by the force of the beta slamming her into the ground. She didn't whimper, but rather she clenched her teeth, biting a bit of the tip of her tongue, however she didn't notice at the moment. Her optics now locked onto those of the pink wolves reddish pink eyes. Once her body hit the ground it sent ripples of heavy muscles purging from beneath her various shaded body and blue fur. Shoulder blades began to grind against themselves digging into the soil beneath. Despite her female disposition; her body was fairly muscular, like a completely train athlete. Strong thick bones made up her appendages, a sturdy. well-developed structured her body. A broad mandible connected to her wide light gray head opened to release a long built up growl that was released from the dark pits of her chest cavity.
Long, muscular legs pushed up against the tender area of the white-bellied betas stomach. Pale claws threaten to scratch the region, if Aubney where to send off a powerful kick. Powerful; jaws opening and gliding up so her veneers could catch the clash of the beta's jaws. Her anger had certainly been released all in this one moment. She probably would have done damaged to this pink beta if she hadn't heard the Alpha Nightmare speak up. Shoving the pink and white off of her at last she turned to the Alpha, with a sign of submissive towards him. Her auditors were pulled back, and tail tucked between her hocks, followed by her adverting her gaze.
"Yes Alpha, I should have known better." She whispered before glancing towards the beta with a sickening glare, that almost seemed to scream 'you shouldn't have done that to a healer, that's going to come back and bite you' she suddenly turned and walked over to Lycos, her head still lowered obediently, she had decided she rather walk back to the den site with him, than with the beta. With him she felt she could silently fume without being attacked again. And on top of that, she felt insulted by Nightmare hearing that Kyla should do a better job, Aubney had nothing against Kyla, but she felt a bit undermined.

"Yes Nightmare" Sara said, standing up and taking his side. She sent a Hideous Glare Towards Aubney. "That's One Warning, Two More Warnings..." She started But She was too far in to say anymore. "I don't know why but It just feels wrong for us to be interacting with the winged. It seems I've become too loyal to the pack and it's rule. I'm not The Rogue I use to be" She said to Nightmare. "They don't obey Me like they should towards a Beta, I guess They still see me as The Huntress I use to be" She said sadly.

(Lol, guys he's already back at the den. He never stepped into the territory. He put his paw out but took it back.)
Rythm stood up. His toes sunk in the damp grass as he strode out of the den. Stretching, he looked like he was play bowing. He sat in the camp. Not very active for dawn. Rolling his shoulder blades, he shrugged it off. He would go hunting. His paw felt a little better, for it was numb and he could not feel pain from the delicate poppy seeds he ate. Striding out of camp, he lifted into flight, raising a paw to pull down his flying googles. The teal contrasted with his brown and maroon colored fur.
His fur whipped in the fury of the great wind. Oh how happy he was in the sky. He could see the massive mountains at the horizon. The sun was just peaking above them, and he thought he would burts from the beauty of it all. The trees became more distant, and for a second he forgot all his worries and about hunting. The huge fluffy coulds floated happily above his head, contrasting with the red and oragne toned sky. He inhaled greatly and closed his eyes, doing a quick backflip, just to show off to himself.

Nightmare gave her a comforting nuzzle. "Don't worry, I'll sort it out," he promised.
Lycos grinned at the Healer. "Hiya, wassup?" he asked with a goofy, shark-toothed grin on his gray face.

Aubney glanced over to Lycos and gave him a weak smile. "Hey Warrior Lycos." She muttered, pausing to shrug her shoulder blades. He muscles still on edge from her encounter from the Betess, twitching every so often under her hide. "Nothing much, digging my own grave I suppose you could say." She said with half-hearted sigh and frail and tired smile. Her tail flickering to life where it now swayed at her heels. "What about you, what have you been up too?" She asked looking down at her paws to see the cracks in the dirt.

Lycos tilted his head in thought about what he did do. The warrior never really did anything interesting. He shrugged after a bit, but gave her his wide grin. "Just take walks through the territory," he replied.

Sara gave a nod. "You Remember When I First Came To The Pack?. I was So Rowdy, Rebellious and In obedient But That's Just Normal When Being A Yearling Back Then" She said, Looking at Him With Those Pink Eyes. She gave a laugh. "I remember When I went Up Against A Bull And You had Saved Me".

Nightmare sighed at the joyful memories. "Indeed you where," he replied, flicking his tail twice. "Only if the old times could still be, like the rules and all . . ." he trailed off, deep in thought about them once more.

Rythm twirled once more. The wind began to blow even more. Hmmph... he thought. He turned his head to look behind hiim. He could scent something. In the distance gloomy, dark clouds began to multiply quickly. A storm. He shouldn't be flying in one so close. It looked pretty bad. Too bad, it had been a nice day.
Rythm flicnhed from his thoughts as a couple of droplets hit him in the face. He turned downward and began to dive for the forest floor. Landing, he tucked in his wings and noticed he was by the camp. Still, no one was active. Tired, I guess..

"Walks? That's...interesting." She said, returning his grin with her own smile. She continued to drag on slowly to the den site, however feeling the droplets of rain speckle her spine shooting ripples of shivers throughout her body she glanced at Lycos. "I think I'm going to hurry back to my den before I get soaked and turn into a giant fluff ball." She said with a sheepish laugh before she turned and trotted quickly to the den site and darting happily into her den. Quickly licking down her shaded pelt to dry the droplets off. Sitting near the mouth of the den and gazing out at the sky, watching the darkened clouds dominate the skies gradually.

"You do that!" Lycos called after the pounding of the rain grew stronger. He shuddered at the cold water running down his pelt and sighed before bolting off to his den.

Letting out a deep sigh, he sat down. The cold grass sent chills up his body, and he let the water soak his pelt. It was quite cold and felt as though he was getting pricked with ice. Scootching to the cover of a tree, he leaned against it. His brown ears perked to the sight of a plump rabbit scurrying off. Must be going to it's den. he thought. Rythm stood and shrunk to the wet ground, shivering as the blades of grass tickled his underbelly as he slithered along behind it.

Shade gently set down the fawn her and Jolt had caught next to the other prey and walked over to her den to take shelter from the storm. She yawned, realizing how tiring it could be to carry out the duty of leading the pack. She sighed and curled up into a tight ball with her plumage of fur covering her face.

Not knowing she dozed off she gets up and shakes out her fur. Sueka trots around the border getting well, bored. She sits down, the rain pounding agaisnt her skin. Thats just great... She thought. Seeking shelter from the rain, she twirls around and sits under a well protected tree. No rain slipped through the leaves. Her blue eyes seemed to penetrate the darkness surrounding her because of the dark clouds.
Jolt sighs and pads through the camp. His fur pressed against his skin. He shivered thinking of how cold it was. He felt bad though.. Poor Shade had to work with the pack by herself with basicly no help.

Shade soon drifted off, her breathing soft and peaceful as she dreamed of what it would feel like to be one of the wingless wolves. She whimpered in her sleep at how awkward they seemed to her; without any wings. The pounding of the rain against the cave den echoed in her ears and soon made it's way into her dream. Shade began to growl while dozing at the sound and sighed.

Sara shuddered as Water Droplets began to Fall. "We Better Go, Nightmare" She said, running towards The Dens.

Rythm trotted back towards the camp with the rain coming down harder than ever. The fat rabbit hung limp between powerful jaws. He flapped his wings twice to shake the rain droplets off. As he strode into camp, he looked around at where to place the prey. He wasn't really hungry. Maybe the healer would like something to eat. Perhaps they get hungry easily from all the work they do. Rythm padded up to the medicine den and poked his head through. "Kyla?"

Temptation fluttered around, Shaking Her Golden and White Wings. "Rythm, What are Are You Doing In Kyla's Medicine Den?" She asked, coming up to him.

A flash of anger boiled inside of him. What other reason would there be? And why not? Gritting his teeth, he slowly turned to face the Beta. "I am looking for Kyla." He said through cluchted teeth. "I was not in her den. Rather, I was poking my head in to see if she was anywhere in sight to offer a meal." Rythm flicked his tail irritably, clinging onto the dead rabbit. He unclenched his jaw.

Temptation Eyes Flashed With Anger. "You Do not Do That To Your Beta!. Why don't you Idiots Listen!" She growled. "It's Not Damn Fair! You Guys Always Listen To Shade But Not Me!" She flared, swiping Rythm.

His eyes pierced her with such anger. "You dare punish me while I am trying to offer the Healer a meal?" He roared, his voice echoing off the trees. He bared his teeth in pure fury. "Do not. Call me an idiot. How shall I respect you when you respect none of us?" He barked, anger seeping from his stance. His legs were spread out, his head level with his ears up. "I shall not! I shall not. No respect for ones with no respect for me." His build was shaking violently with his fury. He reared up on his hind legs at the swipe, and slamed them down infront of her. "I shall not."

Shade's eyes bolted open when she heard the fight break out. She leaped up and raced outside. When she saw them both arguing, she raced over, an angry look on her face. "War is coming between both packs and the last thing we need is fighting with each other!" she snarled at both. "Temptation, go on another border patrol, Rythm, you go ahead for Kyla, I last saw her on the hill." she ordered to both of them.
Shade had never felt so angry at anyone before. How could they be fighting with each other? The thought made her heart thump with worry.

Rythm's limbs did not stop shaking. The fury that arose from himself even shocked him. But it didn't matter now. He had gotten his message to her. He was not calm. His breath came heavily to him, and he glared with such anger. He stode past them, clutching the rabbit. As he met the camp exit he burst into run. Right now be was debating on seeing Kyla. Deciding, he ran up the hill. He didn't want to speak with her, so he set the rabbit down by her paws and made way into the forest. He trotted, lost in thought, up to the border. The scent of wingless wolves flooded him, alerting him of the invisible line, so he halted. His fur prickled remembering last night. He was still furious at Temptation. How could she expect respect when she gave him none? He sat, wrapping his long glossy tail around his paws.

Thunder. Lightening. She loved the complete chaos of it; how the lightening would light up the sky, making it appear as daytime, at random, unpredictable, moments; as well as how the thunder always followed. She didn't care for the predictability of the thunder, more of the sound it created. A loud boom, a terrifying roar. Whatever you wanted to say it sounded like, she would still love it. She hated the rain, it was cold and merciless, but the lightening, the thunder it was one of life's greatest pleasures.
A shot of lightening claimed the sky, only for a few moments, though. Slowly Aubney was draw from her den, away from the protective cover out in the rain. Allowing the rain to pour down on her as though she were sitting beneath a waterfall. Snout pointed skyward to watch the lightening, cold drops cascaded down her dark striped back which caused her to shiver. She watched, in wonder taking in every detail of the sky, the dark clouds, the dark sky, and the bright flashes.
Almost reluctantly she lowered her eyes from the sky onward to the world beyond. Continuing to watch, well rather sh glided across the mud and puddles. The she-wolf sloshed along with the chorus of the winds. The winds howl rang in Aubney's auditors. She didn't know where she was going, just walking. Following the flashes and the sound of the supreme thunder, it called her. Told her to follow, as though it would take her to a better pace. A place without war, a place where one's love was not forbidden. It wasn't long before Aubney reached the borders from before. The images of the quarrel between her and the beta, Aubney couldn't help but respond to those images but with a grind of her teeth in what? Hatred, disgust, annoyance?

Temptation Growled. "I was Better Off With The Humans!" She said harshly and Took Off, Flapping Her Golden and White Wings. She made it look like She was going on Border Patrol And When She was Far Enough From Prying Eyes, She took off in another Direction. The Humans, It was her Past Yet She couldn't forgot The Young, 18 Year Old Girl With Blonde Hair and Beautiful Green Eyes, Smiling At Her and Stroking Her Fur.
Sara gave a sigh, As The Grounds Were Empty. She sniffed The Air, Which Smelled Salty. She knew Her Limits, Obey The Rules. But Yet, She did Not Want to.

Rythm's eyes glowed eerily as the lightening flashed in the gloomy skies. Thunder quickly drummed behind it. That's how the world felt. Something so beautiful, so bright, followed by a deafening drum. You could stare all you want at something so pretty, something bad always followed close behind, and usually, it would bite you in the butt.
His senses snapped out of their trance. A movement. His violent shaking had subdued slightly. Peering around the cluster of shrubs, Rythm could see the slim shape of Aubney. His muscles relaxed a bit, but as he did so his head snapped the other direction, watching Temptaion flutter away. His pelt bristled, making him look almost spikey. She hadn't even felt bad about calling him an idiot. He may have made some unintelligent decisions in the past but he was not an idiot. She should expect no respect from him.

Aubney pushed pass a bundle of shrubs and ferns. Once stepping into the small clearing she paused to shake her pelt of the heavy droplets. Shaking with her head and ending with her tail, her fur stick up in odd positions against her pelt, yet it didn't bother her. She suddenly stood still and her jerked towards the general direction of where Rhythm's position. Her body tensed up for a moment until she realized who he was. Releasing a long breath she slowly eased over to him and sitting on her side of the border as she had done the night before. She stared at him for a moment, tilting her head with curiosity. "You seem tense, angered." She whispered against the thunder and the howling winds. Her body tucking up against its self to maintain her body heat. Her gaze following his to see the fading silhouette of a winged wolf that seemed to anger Rhythm fade away.

"Mph." He grumbled. "Betas." He spat. He let his muscles relax and hoped his stomach would stop hurting. It often did when he was angry. Rythm swung his head back over to Aubney. He wasn't sure what to say, so he let the rain soak him. He thought it would steam off of his body, he was so mad. He laughed to himself at the thought, but stopped as Aubney looked uncomfortable in the rain. Stretching a wing out, it acted as an umbrella for her. He always thought it was quite amusing at how many ways you could use wings. "Did you get into trouble..?" He asked in a low voice. He hoped she knew what he was speaking of. Of last night.

Aubney listened to his grumbles and spats, but her attention was diverted once another flash of lightening flickered to life across the dark skies, only to die out in the dark abyss of clouds. She took a deep inhale and was startled to see one of Rhythm's wings draped across her to protect her from the brutal rain. "Thank you." She said through chattering teeth. Hunching over she nodded to his words, her ears pinned back with embarrassment. "Yes, my Beta attacked me." She whimpered softly. She didn't like to admit being attacked by her own.

"I..er..I'm sorry." Rhythm muttered. He hated getting others in trouble. His beta didn't seem to notice, though she still managed to get mad at him for his apparent lack of respect. "I about attacked mine." He murmured, almost laughing a bit. But he shook off the subject. "The herbs are working quite well." He added. He could flex it a bit. He grinned, looking to her eyes. "I've tried to locate my healer but she's never around. So I thank you for the magic plants."

Temptation Was Flying, As Rain Poured Down Her Face and Her Coat Got Damp and Her Fur Soaked.
That's When Lightning Hit Her. She cried out in Pain as She Fell, Tucking In Her Wings, Into Broken Territory. She landed In A Thump, Breathing Heavily. She staggered up, Weak.
She was just near The Grounds, So She limped Into The Grounds.
Sara looked at Temptation, As The Golden and White Winged Limped Into Her Site. "Please Help" She said, Looking at Sara. "Nightmare!" She howled.

"Eh, I should have known better, I should have obeyed her." Aubney shrugged followed by a nervous smile. Listening to him and how he almost attacked his beta. "Yeah....I wanted to attack my beta..." She said mainly to herself. Perking her ears to hear how he was healing she nodded and looked at his leg. "It appears to be healing nicely, should be fixed up in no time." She said looking up at his optics with a smile. "Your welcome." She said with a bow of her head.
She listened to the rain thump onto the ground, but something stuck out, something didn't seem right. She hear a thump from where seh sat and she determined it was off near the den site... "Hmmm." She murmured to herself, her head turning towards the general direction of the den site before she looked over to Rhythm with a shrug, but she hear the loud and long howl for the Alpha and her brows furrowed. "I wonder what all the commotion is about..."

Rhythm jumped as he heard a loud thump nearby. His head instantly turned into that direction. It was his beta. He still was mad at her, but he looked to Aubney. Temptation was in Broken Shadows land, and had just walked into the camp. She was apparently struck by lightning. That was very rare for a winged wolf to do. He looked to Aubney again. She was the healer for the pack. "Should you help her?" he asked. He really didn't know. The two packs were enemies.

Aubney looked back at him for a moment before she nodded and pulled herself to her feet. "Yes, I can help her. Only if my assistance is needed." She turned and stepped out from under his wing to face the cold rain once again, she started off in a slow trotted before pick up her pace in a run. Slipping between the trees and bushes. Sloshing throw the puddles dampening her pelt more than before. Stepping into the den site she glanced around to see the white and golden winged wolf. "Anything I can do here." She asked, looking at the canines.

Temptation Looked at The Healer. "Yes. I've Been Struck By Lightning and My Wings Hurt As Heck" She said.
Sara looked at Aubney. "Are you Gonna Help Her" She said.

Rhythm watched her leave the protection of his wing. Should he follow? No, no. He needed to pass the information to Shade. He swung around and dashed off into the dark day. The rain was still coming down hard, blinding him on his way. Luckily he had enough knowlegde of the territory than he could easily find his way back. "Shade?" He barked before entering. "Shade? Bring Kyla, too. Two helpers will be better than one." He knew she had no idea of what was going on. But he hoped she'd listen anyways.

At that moment, what the beta said to me, everything seemed to slow, to stop. Aubney was faced with a choice, to help, or not to help. She couldn't tell if what beta was saying was a demand or a question, she was trying to determine if this was a test. Kinda of like a C'mon, let's see if you obey the rules or if you break them. Aubney took a deep inhale and everything went back to a normal pace. She jogged forward and glanced at the winged-beta. "What hurts and what happened. Sprains, bruises, broken bones, scratches, burns?" She said in one breath, curling the winged-wolf with curiosity, taking in every feature of what may have been caused by the fall or by the lightening strike.
She closed her lids over her eyes and went over the herbs in her head before she spoke them allowed, not opening her eyes. She needed to concentrate. "I need Borage for swelling, Tansy for any sprains, Yarrow for scraps/cuts, poppy seeds for pain, and Lavender for burns. Depending on the severity I may need more herbs." She said opening her optics with a flash. Her mind jerking back to the situation, her body alert, feeling each individual drop of rain pour down on her, hearing each roar of thunder, and seeing each flash of lightening.

Sara nodded, Accepting Her Answer. "And Mint For Any Open Wounds" She responded.
"Your a Healer as Well?" Temptation asked, Yellow Eyes Staring.
"Beta Female. But My Mother use to be The Head Healer Before I became a Dispersal" She said.
"Cool. I'm The Beta Female as Well of My Pack" Temptation answered.

Kyla thanked Rythm and took a morsel out of the rabbit, swallowing it down. She really didn't have an appetite from the new rules that had been set down. She knew all along that they would bring trouble to the packs.

Maria flew in the air around the territory to scan it for intruders or any of her pack. She so far saw nothing. She landed in her den and gave a loud bark. At once her pups came running towards her. She grabbed the two without wings, Jet and Alary, and flew into the air with her other two following close behind her. She didn't want her pups to grow up to be murderers and didn't want the wingless ones to be seen by the pack. She kept low in the trees and upwind of the territory to keep her hidden. She soon came across an abandoned den. She slightly folded her wings to let her go down gently and carefully. She placed her pups in the den and sighed. Everyone back home will be missed but she hates the tragic deaths everyone goes through. Little did she know she was in normal wolf territory. Very close to it's border. Hopefully the pups will rest easier than she for she had to be alert always for search parties or strangers.

Rhythm strutted farther into the camp. "Shade?" he called. Where was she? They needed help asap. He padded around the large puddles and up to her den. "Shade, you really need to come. Temptation was struck by lightning, and now she's in Broken Shadow territory."

Maria heard movement coming towards her direction and in a distance saw a wolf with pink in it's fur. It was mostly black mut most important NO WINGS! She looked to her pups and sighed. I think I know where we are. Stay deep in the den. She said to them and looked at the wolf that was close. In the distance she heard temptation. What is she doing here? I guess I could go rescue her. She mumbled to herself and ran in the direction she heard Temptation. When she found her she was surrounded by normal wolves. TEMPTATION!!! she called and leaped out of the shadows towards Temptation while growling at the other wolves.

"Maria! Go get Kyla now!" Shade ordered with a quick snap. She felt so angered at herself for dozing while her pack's Beta Female was struck by lightning. She looked at Rhythme. "Help me carry her to Kyla's den." he said and hauled Temptation's body on to her back.

Maria looked sideways and let herself think. She left the pack so she should be free to make her own choices and be her own alpha. I don't take orders anymore. I fled for freedom. And any orders given to me I will mostly ignore. However if you say it nicely I might help. She said tilting her head to the side with her eyes narrowed. She was truly one not to mess with. She let her ears go forward and her tail go straight out while she bared her fangs.

Rhythm grasped the scruff of Temptation. As he set her down, he flung around, flapping his wings outward, as he does when he is angered. His deep maroon eyes burned into Maria. "Are you kidding me? Ask you nicely? She was just stuck by lightning. Get off you lazy butt and get her!" He roared, clearly unhappy with the statement the winged wolf had made. The rain was still on nonstop.
He turned around, pacing towards Aubney. "Can I help?" He asked, watching her spill her thoughts out of what kind of herbs are needed for what. He could at least help until Kyla arrived. No, he wasn't much good at herbs, but he knew a few and he could probably figure out which is which.

Shade glared at Maria. "Listen to me now, Great Lupus! Get that Healer over here now!" he was getting more fed up with all of what was happening around her and looked around Kyla's den. She knew nothing about herbs, just that they tasted foul. She sighed.

There was a flash of movement from Aubney, she hadn't moved until now, hadn't spoke, and had mainly held her breath. Just watching. Maria's growling didn't faze her, nothing did at this point it seemed. Seeing how Rhythm addressed her she jerked her head over to his direction. "Yes...do you know what these herbs look like? If you, can you go get them." She said with an inhale of the sweet scent of rain. The skies rumbled in protest, rivaling with with the barks and growls that the wolves had amongst each other. The rain had drenched her, so her fur hung on her frame, making her appear smaller. The dark skies made it hard to make out everyone's figure for Aubney. Too her, they all seemed like a bunch of wet, crazed figures running around bickering with each other, as though the rain washed away their sanity, their sense of right and wrong. Yet Aubney felt calm, relieved.
"Fighting is childish." It wasn't really an insult to everyone, more of a observation. Her violet eyes staring blankly before her. They were tired and worn, ears drooping from their perch atop her head. Tail hanging at her hocks. All together she just seemed tired. Tired of the rain, tired of the fighting, tired of everything.
Damn rain.

Maria glared at Shade and bared her fangs. Your not my alpha anymore. I run free and just like everyone else I'm sick of all the fighting. She said in an even voice keeping her head low. All the fighting and death. I do not want my young to face that. She said before turning away and heading towards her den. She paused ald spoke silently. Look around you. if we didn't have wings we would be just like them. We are all the same. she said and continued towards her pups in her den deeper in the forest.

Shade growled at Maria. She then called out for Kyla.
Kyla came racing down the hill and skidded to a halt next to Temptation. She raced up to a small hole in her den and took out three small black seeds. She lied them down near the Beta Female and then searched for anything else that might help the lightning struck wolf. "The poppy seeds will both ease the pain and relive the shock. Does anything else hurt?" she said.

"Forget it," he spat. "I'll fetch Kyla." After he spoke, well it was quiet. The only audible noise was the tapping of each rain droplet as it splashed the muddy earth. He knew they were the same, but obvoiusly it wasn't going to change because of that damn rule that had been set up. He swivled away and out of the camp entrance. Perhaps Kyla would still be on the hill. What were they doing? We could help eachother all the time like this. Seems as though accedents bring us closer together. But how? They were bad.
Perhaps they weren't bad at all. Perhaps this is what they were made for, to bring things together. Maybe that's why they existed at all. Sadness stabbed him like a claw. His thoughts would never change anything. He ran on, and then spread his wings for flight. He stayed close to the ground, but the lightning seemed a ways away, so he wasn't worried. As he spotted the brown pelt of Kyla he dived downward, landing a bit unsteady because of the rain. "Kyla, would you come with me? Temptaion has been injured and she's in the Broken Shadow camp. Two healers would be better than one." He said in a low voice, for he didn't really feel like speaking right now.

Rhythm turned to Aubney. "I know a fe-" the wolf haulted as Kyla ran into view. No need for him to help, now that there were two healers. He still stood by Aubney, for he was a bit uncomfortable in an unknown camp. His whole body felt heavy from the rain pulling at his fur. For some reason, his heart felt a bit heavy, too. Everything was so complicated. Why? He didn't know. He doubted anyone would know.

Rose heard some commotion and walked to it, her pawsteps silenced by some pink fur on her pads. She peered out from the undergrowth.

And the challenge had been made - well had been made a long time ago, but this is the first it was actually being tested, sized up. Now most the wingless, and the winged where in the same area, under the same pressure. It'd been long since the Broken Souls had open it's walls to the winged wolves, and this this time it wasn't a good thing. Which side would snap first, who would declare war first. Who would end this all. Violets optics flickered towards the figure of a brown-winged she-wolf approaching Sara. That must be Kyla. She told herself, seeing now she really wasn't needed. Really only one healer and an apprentice was needed at a time. And surely Aubney wasn't going to run around playing apprentice and she doubted Kyla would do it either.
With one swift movement she stood and silently moved through the soaked ground. The Earth's ground seeming to melt beneath her paws, mud seeping between her flexed toes. Just like that, she left. She didn't dare stay another minute, she didn't dare watch the growing tension explode. It was an obvious tension, it could be felt on the back of your neck. Yet, Aubney was surprised nobody had acknowledged this tension, had bothered with it. It was like everyone was waiting for that moment. Looking back at the rest she gave a sneer of disgust and with final words she would simply disappear into the thick, dark forest. "You deserve this. You all took part in this. Good luck."
Luck. They'll need it. It was self-judgment day. A time to look at yourself, to see if you are truly happy, to see if you're proud of what you've done. To think of the blood that will be spilled over something so stupid onto this ground. Slipping into the dark, cold shadows, she felt a sense of dignity. A trait that seemed so absent these days. The chilling darkness and the rain was no treat to Aubney, she was cold and tired. Yet it was better than what it was back there. Everything was now quiet except for the thumping of her heart. Thump..thump..thump.

Sueka trots out of the camp. Her wings hurt but they seemed to suddenly get better. She shrugs, not wanting to fly so her wings could hopefully heal fully. She trots through the territory on light paws. Her blue eyes sparkles with delight as the light filters through the trees. She found herself trotting along the boreder. She watched as the leaves changed the shapes of the light filtering though.
Jolt gets up from his rest, just outside of camp. He smiles and sits up. His mouth was dry but he was in a chirpy mood. He wanted to do something... but what?

Shade began to growl at herself and began to pace with much worry, and a mixture of other strong feelings that surged through her winged body. She stopped her pacing and began to think of how she ignored all of her pack member's injuries. This thought made her feel guiltly of even being an Alpha and she walked over to the Healer.
"Kyla, you'd better heal everyone's wounds, got it?" he snapped.
Nightmare sighed and padded away to the border. He began to wonder why he accepted Sueka's invatation. It was against the rules for the wingless to love the winged. The black male froze. Wait, I don't like Sueka . . . do I? he thought, but continued his trek to the border.

A bright orange and red butterfly flutters down onto a beautiful pink flower. She smiles and sniffs it. The butterfly crawls onto her nose. She sits down and goes cross eyed trying to look at it. She was acting like a pup. Its like her and jolt at the meadow when they were pups. (Jolt and Sueka are brother and sister)
Jolt perks his ears and listend. He groaned slightly, hearing Shade. He pads into camp and looks at Shade. He sighs and trots over "Everything ok?" He asked caringly. "I think you need a break, a walk perhaps?"

Nightmare soon reached the border and saw Sueka. He admired her wings with a sigh and chuckled at the butterfly. It was funny to see a full grown wolf acting like a yearling or a pup. "Sorry I'm late," he whispered.
Shade whipped around to Jolt and sighed. "Yeah, your right. I just need to breath, a walk sounds good." she replied, trying to block out the anger as she began the walk through the territory.

"Huh?" She says startled. The butterfly remained on her nose as she jerked her head to face Nightmare. "Oh its alright." She smiled. The butterfly annoyed her now. She glared at the butterfly as it seemed to be sitting there purposly.
"Oh!" He says padding up to her "Would you like me to watch the camp as you have your walk?" He asked nicely, hoping she wouldn't get annoyed or replaced.

Nightmare let a small smiled form on his face. "Does this incest have a crush on you?" he joked, looking her in the eye with a shy message.
Shade tilted her head in thought. "Yes, but if Temptation wakes up, alert me right away, understand?" he soon replied.

Sueka tilts her head, the butterfly flying away. There was an awkward silence then she spoke "I dunno does it?" Her blue eyes shined kindly. She was in a strangly good mood.
Jolt nods "Alright. Hopefully she doesn't attack me." He half teased, and was half serious. Temptaion isn't really the nicest wolf he knows.

"You tell me, it looks like it's already trying to court you," Nightmare replied with another smile to the winged wolf. He felt an urge to ignore the borderline and flatten out Sueka's ruffled fur, but held it back.

Sueka's white cheeks turned to pink. She looked at her paws then looked back up. She looked into his beautiful eyes, hers sparkling "You have beautiful eyes." She says. She bites her tongue Good job stupid... She shouted in her head.

Nightmare then stared into her eyes and all of his normal self vanished, it seemed. "You do too . . ." he trailed off, lost in pleasant thoughts.

She had no clue what to say to him. Her paws shuffled under her. As nervous as she was she felt comfortable. "T-thanks." She finally stammered out. She was looking into his eyes for a while until she felt like her cheeks where on fire. They where nearly beat red. She was so emberresed about that so that made it worse.

Nightmare boldly stepped across the border and closer to Sueka. He felt strange about never being in the Fading Echoes land. He licked her ear shyly before taking a step back into his own teriitory.

Her blush starts to fade after he licked her ear. She shyly steps across and licks his ear. She quickly steps back, her cheeks red again. She was looking at her paws, emabarresed. Then the most annoying thing popped into her head "What about the er.... rules?" She said sadly.

Nightmare shifted his paws. "I think that those rules don't have much a hold on love," he whispered shyly and blushed madly at the lick she gave him.

"I agree." Her wings flutter slightly at his words. Sueka sat down and smiled shyly "What do we do now?..." She asked shyly.

Rhythm quickly left the camp, seeing Temptation was obviously alright. The rain had finally stopped. He splashed through the puddles of water where the ground dipped. As he passed ran along the border, he noticed Sueka and Nightmare, but he said nothing and kept trotting on. He was quite hungry. Lifting a quick paw to slide his goggles down, he lept into the air, opening his wide wings. He spread droplets of water around him like a wet dog shaking it's pelt after a jog in the rain. He quicly came to a few rocks, and slipped inside a small entrance which soon burst into a large rock chamber. There was a calm little pool in the center, that rippled as he splashed by it. He had hunted a day ago and had buried a rabbit in here somewhere.
He sat down, exhausted. Rhythm leaned by the reflecting pool as he took little bites off his rabbit. These rules were tearing the packs apart. He didn't understand why they were set. Obviously the wolf who declared these rules knew there was going to be fighting the day he set the rules official. Right now, he didn't care. He just wanted to be alone. He did, right?

Rose trotted quietly through a small entrance to something and stopped short when she saw a winged wolf sittting by a pool of water. She started to back up slowly, her fur ruffling, hoping he didn't see her.

Nightmare felt more shy. "Well, you where the one who asked me to come along the border tonight. What did you exactly want?" he asked, cocking his black head.
Shade began her walk, ignoring Jolt's wanting to joke around and traveled deeper. She then stopped when she saw Nightmare and Sueka sitting what looked like each on the border, reaching for each other. With interest, she hid herself in a shrub to listen.

The air was cool as the rain drifted away. It had lulled her into a light slumber beneath the trees. The small twitters and screeches of birds had managed to shake off whatever sleep had a hold of Aubney. Hesitation filled her, wondering if she should return to camp or wander around for awhile. The she-wolf lumbered around the forest. Approaching near the border and seeing her leader and a winged-wolf, yet she did not bother with it, it'd only get her in trouble. Violet eyes flickered slightly to see the black and pink female cross the borders, just like that. She forced a calm and collected face as she approached, stopping outside the border to call back Rose. "Bloody, Rose. You should know better, can't you identify the border? Now get back over here before the Beta comes." Aubney scowled, watching the black and pink female disappear into the coven. "Ignorant warriors." She muttered under her breath and continued on her way. Tail swishing behind her lazily.

"To er..." She felt a bit awkward saying this "see you..." She trailed off. Her cheeks were pink as she spoke.

"Oh, sorry Aubney! I was just curious." She said running back across the border. She lied down in a pile of soft pine needles and rested her head on her paws.

Nightmare shifted his paws nervously. He felt somewhat guilty for breaking the rules. Wait, was he? He wasn't sure, but he still felt uncomfortable. "I'd better get going, Alpha duties," he said, giving her a polite nod before turning away to walk back into his own territory.

Rhythm's eyes flashed up to the stranger as she just made herself at home and trotted in. Raising a lip, he had bared his fangs for just an instant, for she backed out. He could hear the murmur of voices outside the cave's entrance. Sluggishly, he pulled himself off the cave's cool ground and stalked over to the hole. He was irritated that one could so easily pad into a cave without scenting the air first to tell if it was occupied.
He growled as he saw the pink and black wolf, just sitting comfortably right infront of him. He halted as he saw Aubney there, though. He was quite tired. At least she was there. "Who're you?" He shot a half angry, half irritated glance at Rose. He wasn't really sure what to say to Aubney right now.

Maria walked back to her den and as soon as she did 4 bouncy puppies came racing towards her and pounced on her knocking her over. Mama your back!!! they barked and Maria laughed nudging them off. She walked into the den and they followed her like little stalkers.

Aubney watched Rose retreat to their side of the border and gave a thankful nod, turning away to continue to trot off before she heard Rhythm's voice. With a hesitated glance over her should she would slightly tilt her head. Lingering beside Rose's flank with curiosity. "Hello." She muttered softly to the brown and maroon male with a small dip of her head in respect. Buckling her haunches she sat lazily against her hocks. Tail swishing and draping over her paws, where there the tip would slightly waver.
Glancing down to Rose she gazed at her with a soft blink. Her gaze then adverting back to Rhythm. "You don't look so good." She said bluntly, it wasn't meant as an insult, she just happened to be observing again. Huffing gently she shied back after feeling rather idiotic and rude after her statement. Quickly shutting her mouth she allowed Rose to take over in the talking and Aubney was just...supervising.

Rhythm nodded his hello to Rose with a dip of his head. It no longer bothered him that he was speaking to wingless wolves. He glanced to Aubney and back to Rose. "Rhythm." He tried not to laugh as Aubney spilled out her comment of him not looking good. "I suppose you can come in." Rhythm added. He remembered when he showed his friends his place when he was a pup. It was their 'secret hideout'. They always played chase around the water pool, and played spies as they could see both camps from their hill perch. Padding in, he turned around to Aubney. "Are you hungry?" He would ask Rose, but he wasn't quite sure of her yet.

Red heard pawsteps nearby and realized he was close to tge border. Peering out of the undergrowth he saw a wingless she-wolf with black and pink fur. She was good-looking, you know, for a wingless wolf. He walked out of the undergrowth and sat by the border. "Hello."
Rose, startled, whirled around and snarled. She relaxed a little when she realized she wasn't being attacked. "Hi." She says quietly.
Jake walks out of camp, his blue and white tail dragginf across the ground. He was tired and he was going to find a quiet place to nap.

The brute stepped carefully on the forested floor, light colored eyes scanning around him taking in the tall trees and emptyness. With a sniff he flicked his ears back and forth listening to sounds of fellow pack members. He stopped hearing the voices and rustling of other wolves, his ears pricked as he stopped to listen. There was a winged wolf talking to one of his pack members, one he hasn't met yet;; Then again, he hasn't met many of the members yet. He coughed and stepped from the where he was hiding to dip his head towards the two "Greetings" He said stopping a good bit away, his eyes flicking between the two.

Maria was chasing a rabbit close by. She was right behind it. She snapped at it's heels but it only leaped off her head. She was chasing it unexpectedly close to Jake. She bit it's head once it was close and crushed it. She then looked around worried of being seen and sighed when nobody was seen. She then saw Jake in the distance. She tilted her head at the beautiful male and gave a loud bark calling her pups to her. She dropped the rabbit to them and they ate sloppily. She kept her attention in the male in the distance.

Aubney gave a nod to Rose as Rose departed. "Try not to get caught by the Beta, she'll have your head." Aubney said with a soft smile before turning to look at Rhythm. "I would be delighted." She stated smoothly and turned to gaze out along the path leading towards the camp. Seeing none in sight she proceeded to slipping slowly across the border and following Rhythm into the hideout. Greeting by cooled air that delicately weave it's way across her body, causing her to shiver slightly to the temperature change. Sniffing around at the rock formation curiously, followed by a sneeze that cause her fur to fluff up. Shaking her head to shake off the daze she looked at him. "Nice hideout." She said calmly.

Red looked at the wingless male that approached the wingless female and him. "Hello." He said, sitting down.
Jake turned around and saw a winged she-wolf with some pups crowding around her. She was staring at him. Why? Suddenly shy, Jake ran on into the trees, out of the she-wolf's sight.

He heard pawsteps behind him so he ran fasyer. Suddenly, he was aware that the wolf had crossed the border. He halted and whirled around to face the female. He lowered his head and snarled. (for meaning see the front page) Even though he was a nice wolf he had his duties to drive away wolves from the pack's territory. Especially when a winged wolf just carelessly crossed the border.

He gave a nod "Yes, Dariuq." He said towards the female. His eyes moved towards the winged wolf "Getting a bit daring, are we?" He said staring at him, a smile showing on his features. He honestly he didn't care, as long as the Alpha or Beta didn't find out that is.

Maria paused as the wolf turned to face her. She lowered her ears and tilted her head to a side. She smiled friendly as she slowly walked towards the wolf.

Rhythm nodded to Rose as she quickly headed out. He grasped a squirrel gently in his jaws. Laying it down infront of the pool for Aubney, he layed down infront of her, muching on his own rabbit. He suddenly relaxed. A lot. He felt he could fall asleep just then. "Thanks," he murmured in between bites. He was strangly glad someone still liked his little getaway.
He kept glancing at Aubney. He tried to study his paws as he ate, but he couldn't help.

Aubney approached the water, looking over to stare in the water to see her white and gray body towering over it. Violet eyes locked onto the reflection's eyes. She would stare at the reflection until she was greeted with the limp body of the squirrel, nodding her thanks to Rhythm with a faint smile. Taking a few steps back before she laid down, the squirrel delicately wrapped within her front paws and she carefully tore off the squirrel's fur. Plucking each fur out with such gentle care, until a fleshy body remained, only them did she began to eat it quietly. Her flesh-pink nose taking long inhales of the meal, tail swishing contently at her hocks.
"You keep looking at me." She said with a glance up to him. "Is something wrong?" She asked, teeth grinding their way around the bone. Pausing for a moment to drag her tongue across her damp nose and then across her mandible to swipe off the blood casually. Her head tilting slightly, and she began to dig her lower incisors under the squirrel's rib cage. Her violet eyes flickering up once or twice to Rhythm as she did so.

Rhythm's face suddenly felt hot. "..I was...making sure you.." he trailed off. He didn't know how to respond. Instead he took another quick bite off his hare, the flesh almost all skinned off the bones. His tail wrapped close around him. Seeing her finish, he asked her if he could show her something. "Are you done with the bones?" he asked. He was sort of a clean freak.

"Making sure I was..?" She repeated, but her words trailed off into a question. Ears flopped lazily on top of her head seeing he had trailed off, so she quickly ducked her head down. Hearing him speak again she pulled back to see the carcass she held. Most of the meat was gone, and all that remained was bones and scraps. She drew herself to all fours with one movement. Swiping her tongue over her muzzle once more and nodded in a reply to his question. "Yes, thank you." She said with a sheepish smile.

Ducking his head to grasp the carcas, he closed his jaws on the bones. Rhythm flung the skeleton at the bone pile. "Sure. Follow me." he added quietly. He followed the small stone path that lead upwards. He had to squish in it, it was a lot smaller than when he was a pup.
The path opened up into a ledge of rock. The wind filled his ears and nostrils, whipping his fur to and fro. The sun glowed orange as it was begining to set behind the horizon. The sky was a rainbow of purples, reds, and oranges. The clouds were as puffy as ever in the sky, rimmed in the orange light of the sun. He skimmed the trees from above, occationally seeing a few wolves from the patches of treeless areas. Now, Aubney could really feel what is felt like to fly, even if she had no wings.

"'A bit daring?'" He asks, "I haven't crossed the border, have I?" He retorts to Darqiuq.
Jake lowered his head and snarled again, this time his fur bristling. Wow, this she-wolf had a lot of nerve to cross the border just like that.

Aubney watched as the bone where flung over to the bone pile. Turning to face him she bowed her head and squeezed through the stone path after him. She remained quiet throughout the walk to the ledge.
Stepping up onto the ledge it immediately sent shivers through her spine which would cause a downfall through her whole body. It took a few minutes before her temperature regulated and then she began to take in the view. It was quiet spectacular, everything seemed so...peaceful from up here. "So, this is what it's like to fly? It's so calm." She whispered, her gray chest expanding with a long, deep inhales of the wind.

She snaps a lot and shows threats through body language.

Jake fell silent, his fur still bristling. But not for long. "Still, you are trespassing on Broken Shadows territory. We do not welcome uninvited guests, whether they're lone or not, winged or wingless, unless they wish to join." He retorts. He was so unlike himself today. He lowered his head and snarled again, a last warning.
Fusion walked through a clear spot of land, her wings folded at her sides. Her purple tail flicked back and forth as she walked, gracefully, swiftly. Her head was held up high and her back straightened. Then she stopped suddenly when she saw Red talking to wingless wolves! She ran over and stopped at his side. "Why are you talking to these wingless wolves?" She snaps.
"Hey! Do not just show up and start yapping about us that way!" She snarls at the winged she-wolf, fur bristling.
"Calm down, Rose!" He says springing to his feet, "And you." He says whirling to face Fusion. "Who are you?"

Maria looked at Jake and sighed again. Well then what if I join you? She asked and looked at him. Her eyes narrowed questioningly. She flicked her ears hearing her pups run for her. They paused seeing the stranger but slowly came towards her.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Red. This is Rose," He says pointing his nose at the black and pink she-wolf, "And that is Darqiuq." He says looking at the wingless male.

"Mmm, not exactly, but this is the best I have. I'm afraid you'll never be able to feel like this without the earth under your paws." Rhythm replied. He loved the views from up here. Everything looked as if time itself had frozen. Like the problems of the world were setting with the sun. But the thing was, the sun always came back up.
He could see some wolves mingling with eachother at the border. He felt like the king of the world from up here. He looked down to Aubney, not moving his head. Her fur whipped around in the wind, and he felt it hard to look away; but he did, and narrowed his eyes for a split second as he glanced as the slowly setting sun.

Snapping back to reality she sighs "Ok, er... see you some other time I guess." She said as she started trotting through her own territory. She stopped and looked at a flower. It was a beautiful violet with yellow spots. It seemed to glow as she carried it back to the border. She carefully places it across the boreder hoping Nightmare would be the one to find it. She shakes her head and sighed "Probably not.." She walks slowly back to camp. Everynow and then stopping to look at some flowers. She felt perky and happy.

She tilted her head against the wind, her violet optics locking onto his for a moment, before she looked over to the setting sun. Squinting her eyes against the dying glare of the sun. "Thank you...this is enough." She said, allowing the wind to carry her words away.
With a swift move she brought her head against his ruffled fur, nuzzling him. "Thank you." She said again before drawing back. Shifting her paws nervously, glancing down at him and then back to the setting sun. Sitting down afterward and drawing her tail close to her body.

Nightmare walked back into the den site, feeling a huge wave of tiredness wash over his black body. With a yawn, he asked Tarlar and Sara to take shifts of guarding it. "Oh, and Sara, keep an eye on Tarlar." he whispered to the Beta Female.

Rhythm's ears perked as she did so, and he looked down at her. He didn't care, so he relaxed. The world was too pretty not to be. He spread out his right wing and placed it around Aubney. His eyes were half closed now, the calmness around him made him drousy.
He completely wiped the rules from his mind. He felt like he could live like this forever, with everyone getting along. He only wished. He sat down also, his long glossy tail streaming out behind him.

Dariuq's ears pressed back against his skull as a purple and black she-wolf appeared, winged too, beside her pack member. The fur on his back lifted and he turned his gaze upon the new wolf " Telling Rose to sit down, when shes cleary in her own territory? "He snorted " Maybe keep that to your own wolves." He knew this probably wasn't a good thing to say, but this she-wolf had no right to come and tell Rose, or any of the other wolves what to do for that matter.

"Fine." He says and flicks his tail for the winged to follow. "We need to find him first."
"Thanks, Darqiuq." Rose whispers gratefully to the male.
Fusion kept her gaze on Red, not answering the jabbering, wingless male. Unlike Red, she had dignity and never spoke to wingless wolves directly. "Tell him that I have better things to do than chit-chat with wingless wolves like them." She whispers to Red, gets up, and trots gracefully away, her purple tail swishing.
"Okay. See ya, I guess." He called after the winged she-wolf. Then he turned his attention back to the wingless wolves. "She doesn't like wingless wolves," He told them, "Some of us are like that." On that strange note, Red gave a flap of his wings and headed in the direction Fusion was walking.

"You should sleep." She murmured to him, tucking herself against his outstretched wing, grateful for the warmth the wing provided. Slipping down onto her stomach and laying down her head against her crossed paws. Her back claws scraping against the ledge as she shifted onto her flanks.

Steady paws pounded the earth as the masculine, by the name of Varo, paced
Through the undergrowth. he had his head high and was scenting the air, trying
to pick up any other wolf scents - especially feminines.
But none the matter, he couldn't scent anything, so instead he just padded over
to the nearest tree and curled up in the shade, looking like a clumsy clump
of black and white fur on the floor. His fur was matted, and he thought about
doing a Thorough grooming when he woke, but all he could do now was
sleep... just for a bit.
The male finally adjusted his position to here he had his back legs ticked under his
stomach comfortably, and his front left paw was layed under as well. he looked like
a legless blob except for his right paw, that was layed neatly under his chin. Then he
closed his blue eyes and lay still except for the steady beating of his breath.

Varo rolled onto his back as he slept, exposing the soft flesh of his stomach to the cool air.
but his slumber was disturbed as he bumped into the tree, hitting his head hard on the
stump. "GAH! WHAT THE HE-" he was cut off from his curse as he heard pawsteps far off.
He quickly sniffed the air and smiled charmingly, sitting on his rump and starting to lick his
pelt clean of dirt, and relax the clumps of fur.
A female.. Nearby.
He thought to himself, recognizing the fresh scent tat females have naturally. Soon, his pelt
was gloosy and groomed neatly, and he lifted himself up and trotted in the direction of the
she-wolf. he didn't care winged or not... he needed the company... and he was fond of female
company....
( he is just in the direction of a female, anyone can run into him and disturb him if ud like. :3 )

How can the wingless wolves stand this? seeing the trees from the base, all the nasty bugs that crawl on the ground. And not to mention, the mud that gets stuck between your pads. A shudder pulsed through Whiteraven as she walked carefully on the ground. Ears shot forward at the sound of a voice, the hairs on her back lifted slightly and she opened her mouth slightly bringing in the scent of a male wolf. Her tail twitched nervously but kept moving forward towards the other.
Eyes spotted the wolf not to far from her, she stopped and lowered her head slightly taking in the sight of him. He was a wingless wolf ; how thrilling! She bounced forward, eager to meet her first wingless wolf.

Rose lied down and let her ears flop down, her tail curled around her body.
"Fusion, why do you hate wingless wolves?" Red persisted as he walked alongside of the female.
Fusion turned to glare at the red winged male. As she did, she ran right into a tree and blacked out.
"I think Nightmare is at camp." Jake tells the winged she-wolf. He starts off at a brisk trot.

The pup stumbled around Hait's paws, and nipped at Fall playfully. Fall twitched her ears as Luna did this and nipped back, which lead Luna to tackle the older pup and caused them to start a playfight.

Luu streched her wings out as she woke up. Pain shot through her mouth when she tried to yawn, which was normal, but still made her flinch. Standing up, careful to not use her bad hind leg, she limped into the forest to find something to do.

Rhythm laid down aswell. It was the begining of night, and the stars were just starting to shine from space. Resting his head on his paws, he looked over the ledge. He saw nothing very interesting, so he closed his heavy eyelids. Exhaustion swept over him like a black sheet.

Varo spotted the she-wolf and quickly pinned his ears and dropped into a crouch, simulating
as if he weren't so Massive. He crawled slowly toward the wolf, noticing first of all she had
wings. h smiles nervously, putting on a pretty good act if you ask me. The male smiled and
looked cutely at her. "Hello." He Started to lift his head and nod slowly, admiring the
wings on this creature. "Nice wings... i've never seen a winged wolf before." he lied. He had
in fact seen 4. and had loved 1. the others he just had 'met & left'. Varo stared at the winged
female and twitched his ears, in a confusing "who are you?" type of way.

As night crept onward Aubney found herself falling into a sleepy state, her lids began to droop and she would glance down at the sleeping Rhythm. Curling up beside him for warmth she fell into a content sleep. Her head tucked up against his shoulder blade and her body aligned beside his. She didn't stir or move uncomfortably, she just rested, feeling completely safe for the night beside the brown-maroon winged male. Her paws tucked under her frame and buried into the white and gray sea of fur.

Description/picture: Pandemic has very tall ears. Very over sized. She tends to get made fun of because of that, but she bites back. Her pelt has a white base, and black, neon green, and neon blue markings mixed in. She has eighth notes on the backs of her ears. Her eyes are a glowing neon blue, and the other a glowing green to match her pelt. Her wings are a black to match her markings. Her tounge is also an unnatural blue.

Rhythm felt warmth at his side as he slept. He felt so comfortable. He tucked his wing in a bit tighter, as if he was scared to let the night end. The stars shone overhead, boring down onto the earth. The moon outshined them, though, for it was a waxing cresent.
As dawn began to make it's move, Rhythm open his eyelids sleepily. He paniced for a moment, not remembering where he was. But he soon relaxed, realizing he was on the ledge with Aubney at his side. He glanced to her; she was still sleeping. His heart felt like it would burst. If they went back down there, they would be severely punished; but right now he didn't care. He rested his head on Aubney's back, setting one arm over her back.

Aubney was aware throughout the night of Rhythm's every move, every breath. It was comforting really. The soft rise and fall of his body as he breathed soothed her, it let her worries just disappear into the moon's rays of illuminate light. It was a peaceful, quiet night. One that Aubney had not seen for so long.
Feeling the sunrise's warmth slowly wash over the land she slightly drew out her of sleep. Yet not completely, she was still a bit groggy and unaware. She turned her head to the side, and her violet optics somehow made their way to swivel and look over behind her to see his head against her spinal cord. "Morning." She whispered to him, before swooping her head back to press her damp nose to his chest and taking an slow inhale of his scent. She did this before she rolled her head back down onto the ledge's surface.

Rhythm watched her awaken; well, not fully, she was still a bit sleepy. His ears flickered as he heard her whisper morning greetings. "Good morning." He answered back. It felt strange to say so, he hadn't said it in forever. Rhythm grunted once as he stretched out his limbs and muscles in a huge stretch, and opened his jaws apart in a yawn. he curled back up, letting out a long sigh. He licked her nose once, and half closed his eyes as the rays of dawn's light began to warm his fur. Somehow, he thought this was all too good. It was all a dream.

Sueka trots into camp, her wings shaking a bit. She felt so odd. A good odd. She sighs as a huge wave of fatigue washes over her. Her eyes drooped as she shuffled her paws through camp.
Jolt looks around camp seeing if Shade returned.

Shade walked back into the den site, feeling suspision enter her when she saw Sueka and Nightmare talking. What could they be discussing? Did Sueka like Nightmare? Did Nightmare like Sueka? Many questions entered her mind and she shook her blue black pelt, wings still folded neatly to her sides.

Sueka yawns and lays down under a tree. She places her head on her paws and day dreams. She imagined the rules were gone and smiled.
He looks over at Shade as she arrived in camp. She looked a bit surprised or suspicious about something. "Did something happen while you were out?" He asked padding up to her.

It was a gradually process, of Aubney awakening. She listened to his reply and slowly lifted her head to greet the cool breeze kiss her features as it surpassed the fur on her face. Feeling his stretch beside her she would glance back to be greeted by his lick to her nose. Blinking few times before she gave a sheepish smile and a soft tilt of her head before drawing her head across the fur on his neck softly. "We're in so much trouble."She said, half to herself, half to him.

shimmering gray pelt." He smiles kindly, a twinkle in his eye. he flicks his tail
and sits himself down on the earth, brambles scraping on his pelt, making it dirty one

When Fusion came to, Red's wing was over her body and he was laying near her. She jumped up, her expression cold. "What happened?" She demanded.
Red got up and stretched his wings. He gave his shoulder a few licks before replying, "You ran into a tree and was knocked out cold. You would still be knocked out if it weren't for me." He glared back at the she-wolf. He did not like her in that way at all!

Other: He had amnesia and therefore couldn't remember his past history, not his mate or his still-born pup. Since he doesn't want to be exiled at all, he tries hard to obey all the rules, including this new one the packs had made. Shouldn't be too hard to follow since some rumors spread that the Winged Wolves killed his mate that he had no memory of. Ever since then, he vows that he shall never associate with them. Though, he has infrequent flashbacks of his past that he couldn't understand much of.

Daemon was sleeping in the den, cold and empty. His tail curled around his body, retaining body heat. He was chanting the new rule to himself, taking delicate care he wouldn't forget it. After all, one day, this will earn him to be the "new" alpha male, but may have to get Nightmare to step down first. How hard could that be? For starters, he heard that he was hanging around frequently with the Winged, probably consorting with them, forming a bond. That would give him enough reason to exile him and take his place. -but, that's the only thing he has heard. Yawning, he fluttered his eye lids and groggily rose his head, slowly fighting fatigue. Eventually, he stood up and walked out his den to be greeted by the morning sun. He squinted at the light, blinking a few times to get his sight adjusted and trotted over to a river. He lowered his head and lapped his tongue on the riverbed. Quenched, Daemon decided to check around the border, making sure no one crosses it and to stop trespassers, since he got nothing else to do.

Her gaze narrowed and nodded "Very true, most winged wolves talk bad about...your kind. "She looked at him studying him closely "Nothing interseting about me, seeing as I'm not very old like most of my pack members." She said leaning down to lick her paw, it still hurt from stepping on the rock. "Well, not much of a difference, just that you have these things on your back and they're kind of borthersome."She said stretching out her wings.

Maria sighed and nodded. She entered their territory with the 4 pups scampering behind her. She looked at the sky and sat in the camp clearing.

Rhythm glanced back at Aubney. "I know.." he tried to think of comforting words, but none came to him. They could act like this never happened. After all, they were on a ledge that no one knew of. But, they would have to hid their scents. Water, perhaps. He slowly made his way to sit up, shaking out his short pelt. His goggles slid down onto is eyes, but he quickly pushed them back into place. "Should we head back? The packs are probably waking by now."
Pandemic had already left the Broken Shadows camp. She was strolling down a dirt path that the deer left behind, but she had no intention of catching any prey. She simply felt too lazy at the moment. Her overy tall ears were perked forward, her bicolored, glowing eyes were spread wide in search of anyone to mingle with. One might think this female was insane by her expression, but it didn't matter to her. She tipped her thin head back to the sky, gazing in wonder at it's immense size. Her tail whipped behind her as she continued to follow the trail, and up ahead she saw a winged wolf next to a wingless, like herself. She picked up the pace, eager to speak with someone.

"They may be fun, but they can get injured very easy."She sighed and layed down, her head resting on her front paws. " If you could try them for a day you'd see that flying isn't easy, and that you can't fly for too long as you get tired."

Where do the dreams go after we're awake? Where do the memories go when we get old? What happens to our thoughts after we're done thinking them? These questions burned and tickled her very soul as she listened to Rhythm. Would this one night just disappear, would it be locked and tied down in the dark corridors of our minds? Would it be remembered? The more important questions besides the ones nobody could answer, were the answerable ones. Where am I? What is this place? Who lives here, why do they live here? And do they have as cruel rules? Do they know what they are getting into, trying to bridge the gap between my hell and their world? Who would answer those? Would anyone answer them, and would she have the stomach to even ask them?
Mouth slightly agape as she looked at row and row of endless scenery, she didn't want to answer. If she did she felt it would question her loyalties. Where did her loyalties lie? With her pack, or right here with Rhythm? Head rose and ear flicked as she moved her lips to form words, "Should we?" She managed to choke out. Back there at her pack she would return to her life of endless loneliness and all the company she would receive were injured wolves. But here she wasn't alone.
She could possibly be caught here though. It was too dangerous, yet it felt right. If they dragged her away for punishment, then let them. Let this be her last good memory. Shaking her head of the bad thoughts she sat up and gave a deep sigh. The ball and chain holding her back at Broken Shadows was still there, ready for the master to yank her back in before she had a good taste of what it was like to be free. She gave a soft sigh as her mind continued to war with itself.

Daemon treaded the borderline, pacing back and forth with his fur sticking up on end. "Must-not-allow-trespassers!" He muttered. He was securing his side of the border, his ears drawn back and lips pulled up to his cheeks, showing off his fangs, snarling and looking as threatening as possible. His tail stood straight up. He continued to pace the border. The warmth of the morning sun heated up his fur just a tad bit, but was quickly cooled off by a few bursts of wind. He stopped and shuddered. "Why it must be cold?" He grumbled. Daemon sat down by the border line and sighed. "It's early and I'm sure no one would cross it at this time...unless asking for a death wish." He chuckled at his dark humor.

Stifiling a yawn Sueka woke up. She padded across the camp and found jolt, sleeping. He was curled up in a tight ball. Her brother seemed so cute when he was sleeping. "Hey... Jolt." She nidged her brother awake. His eyes flutter open a look of tiredness was swept across his face. "Brother... Please, does shade know anything?" Jolt answered with a yawn "About?" Sueka rolled her eyes "About me with Nightmare...." She said in a hushed whisper. "No, Atleast not that I know of sis." He said suddenly awake. "Good." She smiles and licks her brother head. "Thanks.." She pads around the camp the sprawls out on a rock. She outstretches her wings and relaxes.
Jolt sighs as his sister left. I don't want to keep things from Shade but.. this is for my little sister. He felt guilty about the hole thing. He shakes is head, clearing his thoughts. He was drowsey and half awake still as he lumbered through camp. His paws made a faint crunch sound on the dirt and grass.

Rhythm inhaled deeply, held it for a few seconds, and let it go. He didn't know. He pressed his flank against hers, their pelts brushing. Right now all he could think of were the rules. But, they could meet at the cave each night. He could just take the night gaurd by himself and wander off. She could collect herbs or something. Maybe this rule thing will blow off. But as he thought it, he didn't convince himself. He wouldn't convince anyone. How would this work? If they sayed in the cave, they would be found out in time. If they went back to the packs, they would be found out. It was a lose lose situation on their part. "What about at night? We could see eachother then." But just at night wasn't enough. His expression changed to defeated.
Pandemic swerved away from the others' sitting at the border. She had spotted Daemon, and she tredded lightly on the lush grass over behind him. Being the wierdo she was, she crouched low to the ground. Pinning her ears back, she crept forward on her toes. The shrubs hid her pelt well, and being one of his own her scent wouldn't stand out so much. Being about five tail lengths away, she ran silently up behind him and pounced at him like a cub would do to her siblings.

Daemon was knocked down to the ground by a female. The sudden weight dropped on him made him furious. He turned his head towards the attacker and his eye twitched. "WHAT IN BLAZES DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?! -are you TRYING to kill me, my heart is jumping right now!" He growled.

Pandemic did almost a summer sault action as she was flipped from her packmate. Her large ears flicked upwards to perk forward, and she landed on her back. Taking a second for a little stretch break, she sat up casually. "Calm down, calm down." She said. Licking her paw, the sweapt it across Daemon's patch of fur that was sticking up. "You were distracted. I thought I'd have some fun." She added slyly.

"Distracted? I'm supervising the border. You call THAT a DISTRACTION?" He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly that moment after. His rage eased and subdued. "Also, don't kill others at your 'fun'. You nearly did that to me." He chuckled, his scruff rippling from the vibrations from this throat. "Now, what really brings you here? I'm just keeping things in order, making sure none of the winged or wingless crosses-this-line." He slapped his paw a few meters from the border and lifted it up after his print in the dirt remained from it. He brushed it off.

It was mid morning; the forest beyond was teeming with life as the birds began to rise and twitter excitedly, prey began to prance peacefully below. Everything was so happy, so joyful, yet this cheerfulness did not affect Aubney. She was faced with a decision that would determine her fate, their fate. Punishment or survival. Yet she dearly wanted the punishment, because punishment meant she was able to be near Rhythm. She felt the filtering light strike her features, the ground now almost dried up from the horrid rain storm they had not to long ago. From atop the ledge though, their silence.
Silence was a plague.
Deadly.
Her ears flattened against her head. It was too confusing at the moment, her thoughts were jumbled. She afraid to say something. So afraid. Violet optics stared out before her. Motionless, not even a glance to Rhythm, not an acknowledgment of his touch. Yet, she was so aware, so attentive. Her features displayed no expressions, just blank. Her black lips were draw into a hard line of concentration. "Night it is." She said, shattering the silence. Head turned to look at him, her violet eyes slightly widened, but not dramatically. She leaned over and nuzzled her neck fur and then drew her pink tongue roughly across the bridge of his nose. We can do this, we can make it work, we won't caught. She repeated continuously in her mind as she drew away to properly face him.

Live in a cave their whole lives like crazy old wolves? No. They would meet at night. It was set. "At the cave." He murmured, almost unaudibly. He didn't move, though. He stayed put next to Aubney. Few minutes pass. Rhythm suddenly pulled slightly away, a sign of 'we'd better get going.' Reluctant as he was, he started to trod towards the tunnel that lead to the cave. "We have to hide our scents." He said in a low voice, not looking back at Aubney, for he didn't want to see her face and walk away from it.
Pandemic's eyes locked onto her packmate. "I didn't almost kill you. You would know if I did so." She was half playing around. She rolled onto her back, scratching it on the rough earth. She swung her limbs in the air as she did so, pleasing herself. "So," she spoke in between her spazzams of jerks, "why did you go out alone? If you did spy something, you'd need backup." She continued to scratch her back, rubbing her body on the grass.

He didn't shudder at her gesture. "That's the problem. I don't think anyone cares. If you ask me, I say there are already some that broke the rules in secret. I'm only here to unveil them. Besides, I can howl to y'all if I required assistance." He stat up, hind firmly planted on the ground. "I don't think anyone is here gaurding it, anyways. I'm doing just that in case of intruders."

Sueka's soft ears perked as she listened to the eternal forest beyond. The sounds... Sounded different. Like something was going to happen that everyone would regret. She shakes her head and rolls over, back onto her stomach. Heaving herself off the ground with a chuff she lunges gracefully off the rock. The silence of the camp was defining. Her ears rang as she walked through the camp, everyone seemed to be asleep. She hadn't relized where she was heading until she reached the slope of a mountin.
Small pebbles rolled down the cliff as she climbed. She left claw marks and paw prints behind her.
The scrabbling of the pebbles was good enough of sound for her. The silence of early morning was unbareable. She reaches the summit and notices a cave. She looks down and relizes shes over the border. She rakes her claws against the rock seeing if there was a reply.... Nothing. More silence of course. Wait.. She perks her ears hearing voices. One very familiar. She trots inside "Rythm?" She barks. His scent was strong, but what was that other smell? A wingless? Her eyes adjusted and she could see them clearly. She didn't say anything about the wingless since how she nuzzled and licked a wingless. She tilts her head a bit curious of what their story was.

Rhythm's eyes widened in surprise. How had she found the cave so easily? He stood there in silence. At least it was Sueka, not any other wolf. He'd seen her talk with Nightmare before. "Aubney was showing me some herbs. I thought I could help Kyla sometime." he flat out lied. Rhythm just hoped he didn't look too nervous. This would ruin them.
Pandemic looked at Daemon, sitting up straight. "I guess yoou could howl." She commented. "Want to race?" she spoke randomly, jumping up on her four paws, her tail whipped around her like a windmill. She was known for jumping from one subject to another, but most people didn't mind it much.

Just like, it had happened, the secret was made. Their secret. Everyone knew though, you can't cover up a secret forever. They were like little time bombs without the clock, you just don't know when they're going to go off and blow up your world into dust that would just be blown away into the wind as though they were nothing.
She remained at his side, not daring to move until he did, just relaxing herself until she did have to leave. Once he moved she was right up at his side, feet shifting nervously below her. Slipping down the path into the stone structure with the pond in the middle and bone pile in the corner. Where this all started. She started at her feet, but stopped once Rhythm stopped. Glancing up she found herself staring at another winged wolf. She said nothing, and just remained at Rhythm's side. Listening to his lie. Silently begging to herself that the lie would be convincing enough for the winged female. She stared for a moment longer and then realized this is the female Aubney had seen with Nightmare when Aubney came to the border the day before.

Sueka chuckles sweetly "Its ok Rythm, I wont say anything. Oh and work on your lieing." She teased. She found it amusing that she made him so nervous. "You should of seen your face Rythm." She said laughing.

"I should go." She whispered abruptly and slipped pass them into the cave's pond to wash the scents. Her eyes flickering sheepishly before she held her breath and ducked down under water. Where she remained there for as long as she could hold her breath. The water washing over her pelt, where the fur on her body would sway freely against the water. Bringing herself to the surface she took a deep breath and paddled out of the water. Pausing long enough to shake her pelt. Water flinging off in all directions. She glanced behind her and slipped out of the cave quickly. Her paws shifting and faltering under her as she darted out. Stumbling a bit before finding her footing and running along the border, further down the borderline quietly and turning into the forest. Taking the long route back to the den site. This gave her long enough to dry off and time to pick up herbs to make it appear she had simply left early to collect herbs.

"You wont?" He quizzed. Suddenly, thoughts flowed over his like a wave from the ocean. He had seen Sueka speak with Nightmare many times. Perhaps it was more than just speaking. "Oh." He murmured, half to himself. He realized why she wouldn't say anything. They stood there, on the cold floor of the cave, in silence. What should they say now? Thanks?
Rhythm swayed in place once, for some reason he felt weird. Like now that one wolf knew, they whole world did. He didn't want that, obviously. His wings were tight against his sides. Even if Sueka knew and she kept her mouth shut, he still felt like someone would find out somehow, and they'd both get killed and never see eachother again. He wasn't afraid of death, really, just not seeing Aubney again. His eyes watched her every move as she left, and his heart felt heavy.

Sueka smiles and trots over to Rythm. She takes a seat next to him "She seems nice... Just try not to get yourself caught please..." She trailed off thinking. Her tail flicked as she thought. Her thoughts wondered through the day she had testerday, then it flicked to him. Nightmare... She didn't know what to do about him though. "I'm toubled Rythm..." She murmered.

Rhythm lowered his head in acknoledgement to her statement. "That's the plan." He whispered quietly. He looked over to Sueka. "I have a good guess of why." He answered to her statement. He had found out himself. His thoughts trailed back to Aubney, but he tried to keep focus as Sueka continued the rest of her thoughts. "But go ahead and say, incase I'm wrong."

Aubney strode into the den site with easy grace. Confident, yet unassuming. Strong but not bold. Her face was blank, find the nervous wreck that was buried underneath the drying lump of fur she was. She was mainly dry, yet still damp in some areas. She had been sure to grind against some trees and roll in a field of horsetails to return her usual scent, Yet debris managed to cling to the damp areas of her pelt, yet she didn't bother with it as she strolled through the den site Horsetails clamped carefully between incisors.
Her night with Rhthm had left her rather jumpy, just waiting for someone to notice she had just now returned. It didn't matter now, she had managed to make mounts of excuses while she was rolling in fields. She paused for a moment, seeing Nightmare and a a few other wolves. One a winged and four pups she hadn't seen before and this caught her attention, but she knew better than to butt in and draw attention to herself. So instead she drifted her way into her den, left the herbs she had collected and then returned to the forest for some peace. Awaiting for night to come so she could return the thrill of Rhythm and her's secret.

Sueka sighs "I really like Nightmare but he's the Alpha of the enemy pack. I want to be with him and be able to see him but it seems like he can't ever be alone without someone watching his everymove...." She didn't know what to say about last night.

"Oh..." Fusion said. Then she flapped her wings and took off.
Red sighed and kept walking, keeping his wings folded at his sides. He reached the border, looking around for that wingless she-wolf he met earlier.
Rose was just about to run off when she saw Red. He's just a friend, she thought, No rules against that! She padded up to the border and sat down. "Hi Red."

"How's it been?" Red asks the pink and black she-wolf. Rose, that suits her well, he thought.
"Boring, extremely!" Rose exclaims, flopping down with a giggle.
Fusion flew above the tree tops and then saw a winged she-wolf (Whiteraven) and a wingless male (Varo). She swoops down and lands, hitting Varo in the face withher wing on purpose. "What's going on here?" She asks the winged she-wolf, her eyes suspicious.

Rhythm shifted in his seat. He wasn't as important as an Alpha. Nightmare couldn't just sneak away, right? No, of course, he argued with himself. He wasn't going to go out and tell Sueka that he was meeting Aubney each night. She already knew they were together, he didn't want her to know everything. Inhaling deeply, he took in the slightly moldy scents of the cave. It smelled cold and old. Letting out the breathe, he looked back to his packmate. "It's your choice. If you really love him, it has to work out somehow. If the universe intended for you two to be together, then be together. You don't get true love two times in a lifetime." He murmured. That's all he could answer her with. He didn't know what else to do. Studying his paws, his thoughts trailed off to Aubney again.

His eyelids batted down, blinking. He quickly got up and went into a stance, readying to dash at any given moment. "Ready when you are, lass." He added an accent for some idle humor, it was dull and barren. He snorted at the thought on how he'll rephrase that statement. "Where to? I'm curious, I don't want to run off to a place I have no business being." 'Or get into any type of turmoil.' He thought. His tail jerked smoothly, sweeping up dust and particles, only for them to fade away a distance from the ground.

Pandemic's mouth spread into a wide grin. She took the stance as well, a look of friendly competition on her face. "How about the camp? There's food there, and I'm starving!" she exclaimed. Whipping her tail behind her, her glowing eyes were fixed ahead. She was planning out the familiar route in her mind. Long, skinny ears perked forward as she saw a rabbit run by, but she has no intention of chasing after it. They'd get food once they reached camp. Twitching her white nose, she glanced to Daemon. "Ready when you are!"

His eyes swiveled over to Pandemic for a brief moment before taking back it's place. "Camp sounds great." He ignored the rumbling that emitted from his underside. It subsided few seconds later. "No cheating!" He barked with a slight grin. He, also had a path to take, the same one that brought him here. The currents of the river led directly a few miles from camp, plus it wasn't occupied so it'll save him some seconds. But wait, if dropped his guard just a tick or by one beat of his heart, he'll lose the competition and her ego will weight down on his face. Not knowing her status or her agility may prove some interest. "Ready?"

"Of course." She locked her eyes on her path, bunching up the muscles in her hind legs. Straining forward, her barked, "Go!" It was a relief for her to let the pressure off her limbs. Speeding off onto her trail, she leaped over a couple of stray tree roots. If she fell, she knew she'd lose. Placing her paws carefully on the earth, she continued onward, loud thumping came from her steps. Pushing forward, she held her tail directly behind her. It waved like a ribbon as the wind whipped it.

"Ok... Thanks Rythm." She presses her flank to his as if giving him a hug and trots out of the cave. Instead of having to slip and slide down the cliff she decided she should try to fly since her wings didn't hurt. She takes a long breath, she closes her eyes. Her wings stretch out and push her up off the ground. She flew down the cliff with speed. She reached the bottum but clumsy her forgot how to land. She crashes to the ground and just lays there. She whimpers slightly and trys to get up. "Are you kidding me?" She frowns, her wing hurt AGAIN and this time she broke her front, right leg. She rolls onto her stomach carefully and watches in front of her. She was laying on the other side of the border, she had flown right into enemy territory. She trys to crawl back to hers but fails. She lays there with a broken paw and wing, with no other choice but to just lay there hoping a pack mate would come by and help.
(Lol, this makes her look forgetful and dumb :P )

Fusion was not intimidated by the she-wolf. "Socializing? More like flirting." She growled, "And why is he on Fading Echoes territory? He is wingless. He does not belong here. He belongs on Broken Shadows territory." She does not look at the wingless male and had her back facing him.
(Sorry if I did not mention but Fusion gets suspicious easily if a winged wolf and a wingless one are of opposite genders are socializing. It does not bug her for female winged and wingless are friends or boy winged and wingless are friends.)

His legs and forearms motioned off in a similar manner of a horses' gallop, speeding past rocks and various obstacles. He weaved through trees as if it wasn't there, almost like a trained greyhound. If only wolves can run as fast as them, over 40 mph. He followed the river up the stream, his tongue flapping off at the side of his cheek, head bobbing in perfect harmony. Bounded over a boulder he hardly missed and nearly lost his place of his foot. His movement nearly jagged and his speed gradually dropped before regaining momentum. A few miles from his direction was the goal. It seemed so far. He suspected a sudden ambush to the finish and keep his guard up/

The masculine let oput a small, surprised whimper as the winged wolf pinned him. He was good at lying,
so he tried something. "DAAH! GET THE FU*K OFF ME YOU IDIOT!" he hissed, using his large upper body
to jerk the wolf to the side, and he quickly jumped to his feet and whispered to whiteraven beforethe
other wolf could see or hear, "Anything i say is a lie in this fight..." then he spred his legs and curled into
a snarl, stretching his legs out to retain his collosal 8/9-foot tall figure. "BOTH OF YOU, GET THE F*CK OUT
OF OUR TERRITORY... THIS PART OF THE FOREST BELONGS TO THE WINGLESS WOLFVES." he growled
coldly, his long black clans gripping the earth. "For The Word 'Socializing'," he snapped at the unfamiliar
winged wolf. "is A THREAT." he hisses and looked back coldly at whiteraven, hoping the she-wolf could play
along.
Damn, if you ask me.... Varo's a pretty darn good actor. but he was only 'acting' for whiteraven This was his
real, jerky self he had unleashed. and he was prepared to lunge and he dropped into a crouch, growling as
a threat to both wolves to get out of the territory. Honestly, varo had no idea what part of the forest he was
in, and he prayed it WAS the wingless wolves' ......

Aubney walked through the forest, feeling the twigs being crushed under her paws. She looked for prey as she walked through the shadows and brush of the forest. Branches and bushes grabbed at her fur like claws but the leaves were like a soft caress that felt nice against here multi-colored pelt. Her fur was long and soft after a good long grooming session, and it had a gleam, a shine that gulped up the rays of the sun. She walked with fluid purpose and her claws gouged the soft dirt and leaves, churning up a mixture of torn leaves, twigs, and crumbling dirt that left an unguarded trail.
She stumbled through the forest that was splashed with sunlight from where the canopy of leaves failed to cover. She searched for food. For her stomach grumbled irritably with her paw steps. Begging for her to stop and hunt, yet there was nothing she found she wanted to eat. She didn't want the fish that teemed that river, she didn't want the squirrel that chattered and darted up trees. Maybe some rabbit, or bird. Yeah, that sounded good to her. With the thought of food caused her stomach to cringe and buckle painfully for a moment before returning to it's growls of protest.
"Look'it you." Aubney could be heard cooing in a motherly tone as she stumbled against the injured form of the winged she-wolf she had seen to too long ago. She stared a moment longer, half convinced she was dead until she saw the expand of her rib cage as the winged breathed. "Are you alright, what hurts?" Aubney asked, half tempted to go fetch Nightmare.

The hair on her back rose "How dare you accuse me of doing something I wasn't!"She growled at Fusion, her head turned towards Varo as he whispered to her. She flicked her tail showing she heard him and stepped away. "I had only just stumbled along here when he told me to leave. "She told Fusion still glaring at the she-wolf.

Fusion, startled by the noise, turned to face the wingless male. She was not tintinidated and she vaguely remembered that the other way was the border. She kept her gaze cold on the male, "A bad attitude with me is not going to be good for you!" She snaps harshly, her lips pulled back in a menacing snarl.

Rhythm got up from his sitting position. He suddenly felt tired, even though he had a good night sleep. Half closing his eyes, he slid down the rocky side of the cliff. His ears suddenly perked to an arguement below. Silently padding up to them, he shot a piercing glance to Fusion. "Yelling will do you no good. What are you doing, anyways?" he questioned his packmate.

"You know that for a fact? Can't they just disscuss something? The rules don't prevent wolves from speaking with eachother." His eyes were filled with fury as he shot down Fusion with his gaze. His wings were ruffled, and the fur on the back of his neck stood straight up. She shouldn't be accusing her packmate and this stranger to be doing anything unless she had proof. He parted his lips slightly, showing his white canines.

pretending it was the same this he had said to whiteraven, "You mutants are crazy, im out
of here." then, he flicked his tail and trotted off into the undergrowth towards camp.

Sueka whimpers but keeps her head down. She didn't want to move for she was hurt badly. Her leg looked obviously broken as did her wing. She couldn't move, the pain overwheled her and knocked her unconcious, her rib cage rose and fell as she was passed out.

The scarred wolf continued on until she came onto where a wingless wolf was shouting something at Fusion. Her ears twitched slightly with amusment as he ran away, and Luu limped up to them."What happened?" She asked in a quiet voice.

Another winged wolf appeared, she looked towards her "Fusion is just making a big deal out of nothing. "She said to the other she-wolf.

Aubney watched Sueka pass out from where she stood. She stood for a moment more before she turned, her paws faltering, but she quickly regained her balance. Her paws thudded across the ground heavily. Muscles purged rippled though her body with each heavy stepped as she sprinted though the forest. Slipping under branches and leaping over bushes. She slowed to a trot once she came into camp, slipping up beside Nightmare and whispering into his ear. "Nightmare, it's that winged girl from the border, she injured and fallen into our territory, she's not conscious." She said quickly as possible, trying not to draw attention to herself.

She fluffed out her wings, lowering her head slightly before saying to Luu " I'm heading back to camp. " She twitched her ears and turned towards the packs camp. She stepped sliently on the ground, deep in thoughts not really watching where she went or even if she was going the correct way towards the camp. She hoped she wouldn't run into Fusion, if she did it might not be too pretty.

Tomorrow. It ran through her head as she settled down into the healing den, the smell of herbs filling her nose and making her slightly dizzy. She shook her head, looking around for her mentor. A sigh escaped from her slightly parted mouth and layed her head down on her paws, ears flipping back and eyes closing. Tomorrow, meeting the wingless wolf. Was it wrong? Yes, completely. And if caught, she was in trouble. It was exciting though, sneaking off to meet one of another kind.

" and how did I end up omega? well its only my opinion! " Spire stamped his paw on the ground. Years befor he had been asinged omega for disagreeing with the separation of winged and ordinary wolves. Being omega meant he had to obey other wolves, eat last, and endure the teasing other wlves gave him. He had never really gotten over it, but of course, knowone gets over being omega. Spire sat down, and looked at the sky, the wind blew softly and clouds scuddled above. Spire couldnt reisist, he flapped his black wings and soared over the trees.

Fusion slowed to a walk and halted beside Red. "Red, if any of our pack members need me then I'll be flying." She says, not glancing at Rose. She flaps her wings and soars into the sky.
"Okay." Red says as the black & purple she-wolf flies away. He turns his attention back to Rose. "I better get going." He gets up, turns away, and flaps his wings. He flies towards the Fadinf Echoes camp, thinking.
Rose nods and doesn't move until the winged wolves fly away. She gets up and shakes the moss from her pink & black pelt. She heads off along the border, staying in Broken Shadows territory.
(I don't know if I still want to play as Jake. Nobody really responds when I play as him. I guess okami129 can play as him or something. I kinda want a diff wingless male, I saw a cute pic the other day.)

Daemon retreated back to his pack grounds, searching for something to smother his hunger. It gnawed and rolled, growing agitated. Eventually, he padded over to his packs leftover game that they hunted down and started stuffing down his gullet. His Canis fangs tore the flesh from it's flank and swished around his gums, igniting his saliva glands. When tender and soft enough, he swallowed before repeating the process. When he had his fill, he didn't want to be bothered in the forest again after almost injuring himself. So, without missing a beat, he walked back over to the border, keeping his guard up.

Luu had been pacing around the winged side of the border, not quite sure why. She'd at least came back to her packs side, but...She still wanted to cross. Because Luu had never explored their forest, it was new to her, and the normal forest was just so boring...Shaking off the thought, she took a few steps back, stumbling back slightly becaue her footing was bad, when a male wingless wolf(I can't remember if he is wingless or not owo Sorry) walked up to the border a few yards down.

Daemon spotted a winged female, a little too close passing the border. He growled and barked at the unexpected female. "DO NOT CROSS!" He warned. "If you have, I'll bite off those wings of yours, wishing you haven't crossed over!" The Delta male wouldn't tolerate trespassers and is wary of keeping his own pack at the same side in case they 'stumbled' over.

Luu streched out her leathery wings, showing that they were covered in holes, wounds from when she was attacked as a pup."If you bit them off, it wouldn't make much differece to me." She said plainly, not noticing Spire behind her, as she struggled to form the words with only one useful jaw that was still in one piece.

"She was attempting to cross the border!" His tail stood up, along with his fur and his maw curled up into a snarl. "-and the only difference is you'll be-just-like-us! Wingless. Don't even know why you guys exist. Always coercing our members to get them in trouble, causing chaos with acts of seduction. Well, I'm not like them. Why? I'm not telling, because y'all say 'we didn't do it, someone else did it' or other lies." He stomped his paw on the ground firmly, bringing up faint memories of his past. That made him furious and eventually thrashed about in frustration, his nostrils flaring before slowly starting to weep. He curled up and whimpered for his mate, muttering about the winged.
(This, memory-upbringing causes him to have mood swings, this may happen frequently depending on the situation. Also, this may increase suicidal thoughts...)

Spire glared at the wolf. " Who asked you? " He growled. but when it started whimpering and curled up his anger fade. He glanced at the wolf, " I hate the separation to... " he muttered under his breath, feeling sympathy start to seep in.

Daemon's ears pricked, his mourns slowly subsided. Surely the other wolf couldn't relate to his despair. After all, it was the winged that killed his mate and his unborn pup...so he heard and believed from rumors from his pack mates. He still didn't want to submit to the male but sorrow quickly overtook him and buried his head under his paws. The dust collected on his muzzle, clinging tight to his fur due to saliva drips from his maw. He snuffed it off before returning to his sitting position. For some reason, this altered his behavior and began opening up to the male. "Just as long as they stay away from this side of the border and don't cross over, talking to them isn't forbidden." He thought, "After all, who even wants to be demoted to being an Omega? No offense to them." "Separation? You mean you know or was it a lucky guess?" He arched his head a bit, curious about Spire's sympathetic relations.

Spire looked at him, and blinked. " know about what? The separation of winged and wingless? I think its wrong, but I'm not going to say what I said three years ago. That got me promoted to OMEGA! " Spire spat the last word.

It was too good to be true. All this male cared about how these rules was wrong. Daemon thought he was talking about relationship-wise. He wouldn't care about why the rules were changed, it was just fine to him and made a sense of equality. The winged won't taunt the wingless and most times end up in brutal fights that almost ended up deadly. A logical reason why both shouldn't coexist together in one setting. Actually, he was loaded with reasons why they shouldn't be together but he won't be bothered by telling all of them. "Not the rules! I'm talking about-" He huffed, "Nevermind...just -stay on your side of the border and I'll stay in mines." He gestured his paw to where Spire sat and then to where Daemon sat. "-and how did they promote you to Omega? I thought it was demoted?"

Spire sighed, " that was befor the demoted thing happened. I was a yearling when mother taught me about the separation. I had a bad feeling when she told me that, but the rules are the rules. About two maybe three years ago, we gaught caught in a deadly skirmish on the border. About a mile down from where we are now. I had not been ready for it. After the skirmish, I saw the wolves that had died laying on the ground. Several from the pack of Brocken Shadow, a couple from my pack, the pack Of Fading Echoes. One was my beloved brother... and I said something that got me promoted to being omega. And i'm still glad I said it. " Spire felt all the loss of his brother wiehing down on him like stone, his brother had always been there to help him. And now it was as if a part of him died with his brother.

Some tears welled up in his eyes, but they refused to fall. One of those wolves was his beloved mate, probably a month in due with the pup in her and all. Both died of a attack. They didn't deserve it. Why did this happen? No one knows for sure, but there has been some minor assumptions. For one, either one of the members from either pack went hysterical and attacked one of the opposing members, causing a riot or just by chance. The flood of images swiveled around his subconsciousness, all those memories of his mate blocked everything else around him. One was when they first met.
As Daemon sat over by a shaded tree on a summer's morn, a she-wolf padded over to a river, in Daemon's view. She crouched down close to the edge, with the water tapping her forepaws gently. She lowered her head close to the river, seeing her reflection, her tongue lapped over the riverbed, quenching herself. Daemon watched closely, breathing quietly to not let her detect him. She lifted her head a moment before sitting down, glancing up at the sky. "Sure is hot today." She hummed. Her voice was regal and formal. That, made him turn shy and continued to gawk at her. She darted her pupils to the male by the tree; he buried his head in his paws in a response.
The memory quickly faded at a waft of wind batted down on his maw, irritating his nose. "I see." He could understand. He retreated back to fetal position and sighed.

Spire looked up, " The sun is setting, I'll just be off. " And he opened his immense wings and soared into the sky heading for the tree he had decided to make his den in.

"Sundown already? Wow." He was shocked of the fact on how much the sun has receded from the sky. Daemon watched him hover off, soaring high in the sky before disappearing from a few miles off his vision. "Yeah, bye." He muttered a while too late. He sighed and sat up before lifting his body away from the ground, with his paws and legs as support, still at ground. Before walking off, he glanced over to see the she-wolf remain silent, probably easedropping. "You're STILL here? Probably want something, don't you?" He wondered why she remained there like a statue, poised and elegant...just like his beloved. He shook his head at the upcomming thought before it got in his mind. "Ok. If I offended you, I'm sorry. You know, earlier. It's just that I'm very protective about the rules and I don't want to be demoted to Omega." He liked his delta status. It's not the best rank, but at least he's respected by lower members....more or less.

Spire landed in the oak tree with widespreading branches his den was in. The branches separated at the top of the trunk makeing a dip in the tree. He was off of the ground so preadators couldnt get him and he occasionaly liked to dose on the branches. He shooke a leaf off his right wing and curled up, but nomatter what he could not sleep. His conversation with the wingless male had left him wide awake. Night flight. One of his favorit things to do. Spire got up and clambered to a branch on the edge of the tree. He was not a cat, but he had adapted himself well to weaving among the branches. Spire sat down and watched the flare of color the sun left behind.

The enourmous male swiftly stalked off into then trees, away from camp. he needed to eat something.. his stomach was killing him. Suddenly, something made a rustling noise. he dropped into a crouch and smiled. "rabbit" he thought, the earthy scent was unmistakable.this rabbit had made a burrow nearby, and varo silently stalked around. he came to a hole under a tree, and scented it as the freshest. instead of pticking his paw inside, he waited... and 2 babies came out with an adult. hmm... if she had babies it would be wrong to kill the rabbit. Oh well, he can bring some back to camp. so with a quick lash, he used one of his paws to snatch up the small ones, and one toquickly latch onto the rabbit before it bolted away. so not to cause a ruckus, he ended the older rabbit with a swift bite on it's back. as for the babies, they had gotten pirced by his huge claws. he picked all 3 up in his mouth and carried it back to camp. 'wait..' he thought. 'i need a female to share this with.. maybe even an easily seducted one... ive been getting very needy lately...' he smirked and crawled into the clearing, dropping the three on the ground. he quickly picked up the larger rabbit for himself and carried it off tohis favorite eating spot - near a mossy rock, with a clump of nettles growing next to it. he layed down on the grassy spot and started to knaw hungrily on his meal, waiting for the next day to come.

The she-wolf glanced at the wingless wolf."You didn't offend me," She said, her ears twitching."I was telling the truth. I would rather not have these, these useless wings." Luu looked up at the sky, watching the bright stars."All they do is cause me more pain..and remind me of the past.." It was hard for her, still to be able to form the most simple of words, or even a sentence. Yet, she was still able to, because the useless jaw remained."I can also understand that you don't want to be demoted...I don't think anyone does..Unless they could care less." The young, broken she-wolf stood up, flinching as pain shot up her limbs. This wasn't very visible, but you could tell that she hurt from the slightest movements she might give. Such as not being able to stay in a pose for very long, or to look in her eyes, you might see the pain she trys to hide."I better be going. I doubt you want to be bothered with me." She grumbled, then turned and stiffly walked off, slowly because of her one hind leg, that was only bone.

For some reason, he felt guilty of treating her like an outsider. She wasn't hurting anybody, only herself because of her 'useless wings' she calls them. His ears pricked when she mentioned past. Did she also had troubles in the past that entwine with his? No, it's probably too good to be true, just like that winged male. He saw her stand with struggle and winced of her slightly visible pain. "Are you sure? You look like you need help." He couldn't help but to make her happy, seeing how miserable she is now. "I could he- oh wait, that means crossing the border." He sighed, "Well at least be careful and don't apply too much pressure to the good legs, it'll wear and tire out quicker." He barked out before retreating back to his clan.

Eyes slowly opened, and head is lifted. With a yawn she stood and stretched her body, her wings folding out from her sides. She glanced around the camp seeing few wolves out, ears flicked back and she slowly snuck out of camp. Surely no one would notice her, most of them were off on there own by now anyways. She trotted lightly towards the border, why was she going to meet this wingless wolf you may ask? She has no idea. Reaching the border she carefully made her way to a bush and made her way to the center of it. Putting her head down on her paws she watched the border closely, just waiting.

Shade decided to patrol the territory. She left Temptation in charge, as she always did now and wondered if the wolves already where beginning to betray the rules. It made her growl in discust, Shade always followed the rules no matter what and she wanted to make sure that her pack followed those rules.

Spire looked up, he hadn't realized how much time had passed. The sun was just beginning to rise above the horizon. He hovered a moment more and flew back to his den.

Softly and quietly, the large masculine awoke from the soft clump where he had had his meal. varo's paws stretched out, allowing his muscles to adjust. being so close the the trees, he backed up, still crouching, and getting masked behind the shadows.
Varo had been staying cautious for a while now, but since he got deeper into the forest, he rose and snuck to the border, he smiled as he smelled the unusual scent of the winged wolf, whiteraven.. he was still hidden, but his handsome voice rang charmingly. "hello, whiteraven.." he smiled softly and appeared from behind a bramble bush.

When she heard him speak she jumped a bit and rose " Varo. " She said twitching her ears forward. She dipped her head in a greeting. "yes, whiteraven. we meet again. its so good to see you, as beautiful as ever." he says calmly, complimenting the winged she-wolf varo was greatful for the shady hut-like formation that the tyrees have to the top. aand bushes on the sides. the bright moonlight flooded throughthe leaves of the canoopy, giving a relaxed feeling to the two.

" its good to see you as beutiful as ever " the wingless male was saying. Spire blinked, Whiteraven was disobeying the rules! Spire felt torn, between his hate for the rules and his fear that his packmate might be found. Takeing a deep breath he lighted down and stepped into the open. " whiteraven, why are you here? "

The fur on her shoulders rose as her packmember landed, " Just a friendly meeting " She shot back to the male. Her ears flicked back against her skull, they had the worst of luck getting caught all the time. " Nothing for you to worry your wings off about."

varo stayed silent and let his head lower, the shadows from his fur seemign to show his embtrassment of being caught again.... but he soon lifted it up and nodded a thanks to whiteraven for covering when he froze up. "eh, thanks... i was just discussing with this wolf about the laws. im kinda new here and don't know much." he chuckled. this time he WASNT lying.. he WAS new! he DIDNT know much about this place! oh, well at least he couldn't sink much lower than this. by now, he's usually have accomplished his goal! but all these stupid winged wolves keep finding them.. well, he's try again tomorrow.. 'tonight HAS to go well, of else i might fail. or maybe i might thik differe- no!' he thought to himself, flattening his fur.

The sun beamed down through the cracks of his den. It slinked up to his face and instinctivly placed a paw over his face, trying to block the demon light from his sleep. His stomach knotted all of the sudden, dreams echoing the meeting with the winged she-wolf. "The wings. They hurt me. I want the pain to stop." Is what his interpretation of her saying. His image of her slowly formed into the one of the wingless, just like himself. Before his dream could progress any further, he woke up with a start, pulse racing. He panted heavily and calmly, trying to fight and calm down his fight-or-flight reaction. Once he's situated, he got up and went over to eat some of the food from the packs food pin. Not much he needed to get him going and his tongue felt a bit dry after eating his fill. As usual he would pad over to the border for guard duty, but today didn't want to be stressed about it. He trotted over to a tranquil emerald enchanted forest, one of his most sacred places. Him and his mate used to go here, mostly to chat and play. He wadded over to the opening circle and curled there. A flashback batted his subconscious like a rock upon the cranium.
The she-wolf was intrigued with him, but Daemon was too shy. Was it love at first sight? No, it was too good to be true. By the time he peeked up, the she-wolf was by him, confused expression on her face. She gently nudged his paw with her nose, ushering to motion it away. He did and stared up at her.
The dream faded once again. The cotton spores fell softly around the enchanted forest, creating a lifting effect. His stress eased away and tension was all lost. He could sleep here in this tranquil and animated sancuary, ever content with this place not ever being tainted.

She let the fur on her shoulders lay down even though she knew this winged male was an omega, he could still try to rat them out for meeting. Not that he had anyway to prove they were meeting, after all Whiteraven is the medicine apprentice. She could be simply out looking for herbs and ran into the male.

"heh, thanks, whiteraven! im surprised at most of these laws, but eh." he shrugged his shoulders, pretending to carry on their imaginary conversation. this night NEEDED to go perfect.. he needed it to.

The she-wolf padded slowly back to her packs camp, letting the forest whisper its thoughts to her and to enjoy her time alone. Luu ignored the pain in her leg, for it wasn't bothering her as much now that she didn't put as much weight on it. Her wings laid flat against her, not moving in the slightest way, stiff. It is better this way, she told herself. There is less pain than before.
She continued on, then looked toward the sky for a moment. Sometimes, she did wish she could fly, like the rest of her kind. She wished that she hadn't been attacked when she was a pup. A shiver passed through her body at the memory. The bloody teeth ripping at her flesh, the sound of tearing muscle, tissue. Luu shouldn't of lived after that..But she had.

Spire decided in that moment that he would leave, all the rediculose rules, the deaths, the laws....... it was too much! He would run and be wild and free... just like his grandfather. " I might not rat... you know its kinda difficult to make that dicision for a lowest ranking wolf who hates the rules. " Spire paused, wondering where he would go, " I wont have much time to rat anyway...--- " Spire cut his words short, he had almost givin his secret away!

Daemon rose his head, paws overlapped and hind legs bent in a casual sitting position. He uncurled slowly, fatigue still weighing down on him since that race with his pack-mate. It didn't bother him that much at first, but gradually it started to take toll, realizing how much energy he burned off during that sprint. Plus it was somewhat long distanced. That didn't help. He decided to stand up and padded over to a river close by. The water was crystal clear and seem to sparkle upon the light. Sometimes, he would like to rest here, away from his pack-mates, rules, mostly everything. A place to clear his mind and spirituality. A cleansing effect, like renewed and refreshed. "Perhaps I'm being a bit rash, but rules are rules and I must make sure I obey them...and for everyone else to follow too." Another pang in his chest prodded him. He collapsed on the ground, panting heavily. "Why....is...this...happening.......to..." His throat felt congested and even panting fast seemed to make it worse. As much he didn't want others to know about his sacred sanctuary, he needed extreme medical attention. He ignored the signs, thought they could fade away, but it didn't. It gradually got worse, just like his flashbacks. They were coexisting each other; could it be a sign? He winced, nostrils flaring with forced air. He inhaled deeply, as much as his lungs forced him to and gave a long and mournful howl. He paused and realized his mistake.
Wrong howl.
His vision grew foggy, his surroundings blending with each other. He could hardly move his head to turn and look at the bushes. He gave slow blinks as his breathing grew slow and soft.
(I know, this is a bit dramatic but I wanted to spice things up...)
