For some reason, I can't download fh at all. Not on the mac, not on the torrent.. etc. Why?

Greetings there, Cassandra. A friend of mine had this issue a while ago that she was Unable to download the game, she had to receive the 'Feralheart.Exe' off a friend on the application 'Skype'. If you could give us more detail in what happens, it may help us greatly in fixing your problem. Is it simply not downloading at all?

Actually, it gave me a virus when I tried to download it. :/ It never installed fh at all. (And, is there a way to change my name because my friend made this account for me because I literally couldn't get the right time when registration is open)

In order of to change your username, you'll need to wait until the registration reopens which I don't know when. It opens randomly.

FH is a clean site and does not act as a medium for viruses/hackings. I'm not sure how you would've managed to get 56 viruses off of a download like this. FH does not have a virus. It's the other things you have to look out for, I suppose, as we wouldn't exactly sponsor them if they were going to infect computers. Mediafire and fileswap and those can and are very able to give you viruses. Fix what you can in the way of viruses, but after that... the game should be fine for you to play. Just be careful downloading those other things. There's nothing I can really tell you about how to protect your computer from viruses of FH simply because there are no viruses with us here.

I don't disagree, but.. Okay, so I tried to download Feral Heart. It didn't download Feral Heart, rather then just have things pop up, like ads and random sites. I'll do what I can, and retry. If it doesn't work again.. I don't know.

It sounds as if you are downloading programs via popups and other resources instead of the official Feralheart download from the site. Make sure once you are redirected to Adfly, you click "skip ad" and continue with the process to download the game. As for changing your username, I'm afraid that is not possible unless you create a new account, just as DelightfulRevenge stated. Be wary when using accounts that others have made for you (as the official game rules & guidelines state); even if you do know the person, once someone uses an account where another has made/also used an account, they are "connected," which means if someone is banned for whatever reason, the other account will also be banned as well. That must be because Raz wants money to keep running the server. know it's a bit shady but with adf.ly and ads, you help him running the server. If it didn't have adf.ly, FH would probably be dead by now lol

FH does not contain any viruses, therefore it is a clean site. And as you were asking, yes you do proceed to download the game. Here are some steps cx
Step 1. Click Download (if you are using Windows) once it sends you to adfly, skip the ad in the Top-Right hand corner.
Step 2. It will take you back to FeralHeart.com and click 'Proceed Download'
Step 3. It will take you back to adfly, so click SKIP AD in the top right had corner again at least 5 times. And then your download should be ready.
If you suspect you have a virus, check any of your programs that detect viruses.

Yes, FH is entirely clean. I think what you did was either downloaded it off of adf.ly or another pop-up. On my Windows 8.1 laptop, it pops up on the bottom when you start a download: "Download ___ from ___?" If you don't get "download feralheart.exe from feral-heart.com", don't download! I you want to stay safe, try getting a protection program such at Norton 360 or Macafee. (I use Norton 360 and I recommend it from Symantec. I don't know why everyone says it sucks; it's protected me on 2 computers for like 4 years without a single issue.)

Norton has many false positives I believe. And many other things.
Either way, use Avira or, even better, Kaspersky. Also Bitdefender, etc., just choose any except Norton and McAffee. Both those have caused problems. :\
Only choose one antivirus though! You can have 2 or 3 installed, as long as one is deactivated and the other is active. If both antivirus are on it may cause problems with the PC. As an additional layer of protection, get MalwareBytes. It's 100% safe as long as you download it from the official website.
Oh, and don't forget uBlock & NoScript, if you have Firefox that is. If you use Chrome, you can use NoScript as well, but if only uBlock was compatible with Chrome... (chromium is the open source program of chrome btw, chrome was based on that, it won't work with chrome)
This went from a download problem to an antivirus thread, but whatever. :P
