Today I tried to download a map from another player through mediafire. I went to put it in the "exports" folder, and couldn't find one. Do we have to make a folder saying "exports" or is it something new in the patch? Was it included in the original game? Help? :-\

It's included in V1.09 (the new patch). If you install V1.09 and don't receive an exports folder, then .fhm and .fho files can go in terrains, and .fhw and .fhs files can go in sky folder.

how do you open the map with all those thing you listed

Those are map files which are what should've came with your download. Those files have to be put into your Exports folder and that will make the map portal appear in Cape of Distant Worlds.
The .fhm is the actual map file so that is what makes the map portal appear at Cape, .fho are the object files or the object groups that were used in the map making, .fhw and .fhs are custom sky and weather files.
If you do not have an exports folder in your Feralheart folder you can just make a New Folder and rename it to "exports", hopefully that will work :)
Try following this video tutorial ;)

Stefan, it's nice that you want to help, but old thread is old, and the question was already answered. c:
