Feralia Aquius
You arrive in a bright open meadow, filled with tall wild grass and flowers. The meadow is filled with chests, someone has obviously been here, and been working hard. You look around, and see three ways you can go. Out into the wilderness to explore amidts the monsters, a sigm pointing to a place called the STRONG house, and a train station. You climb aboard a minecart, and ride towards your destination.
You arrived at a town sitting beneath a large cobblestone castle. The town is still new, and many plots of land are empty, but you see the great potential in this small town. You decide to stay, and help. After all, who wouldn't want to be a part of teh world of Feralia Aquius?
~~ General Information~~
Feralia Aquius is a server created by Ghosting, only for members of Feral Heart. We are working together to build up the world and create something awesome. There is no real goal in mind, as long as you have fun. We will not allow random people to just pop up on the server, so we will only give out the IP through PM. After all, we don't want random greifers popping up now do we? We will ban any that do not belong and weren't given the IP properly, so don't give out the IP to your friends, they WILL be banned.
Please respect the other players on the server, we don't want that.
~~ The Rules ~~
- DO NOT GREIF. That means do not go around destroying other peoples hard work, and do not go around killing people.
- Please keep the IP private. If you do not, it may result in a ban, as well as bans for any that were not invited on to teh server.
- If a creeper blows something up, please fix it as best as you can, don't leave craters everywhere.
- Do not steal from peoples chests. If there is a sigh saying free things, then go ahead, but do not take from peoples chests without clear permission.

Ohh I might as well bring up that I keep noticing random craters around the place. Either where someone's tried to fight creepers or used TNT. Kaizakan and I found part of the Rail Track destroyed today/night.
I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone but for the love of god be careful when you're dealing with TNT and Creepers.
But I do understand that Creepers can be horrible ninjas and explode in your face unnoticed when you least expect it.
AND if something breaks due to Creepers, please try and fix it the best you can, don't just leave it. Maybe leave a sign or something saying ":C Creepers. Tried to fix the best I can."
OH and you might want to put up in the original post somewhere saying "Minecraft server stuff only"
Here's some more rules:
DON'T steal from peoples chests. If there's a sign saying "Free stuff" or something next to it along those lines, then it's ok to take. If it doesn't then it's NOT for the taking.
If someone dies, DON'T steal their dropped stuff.
BE CAREFUL and MINDFUL of your surroundings with dangerous goods, such as lava and TNT. We don't want any huge forest fires and burned buildings.
I think that's all for now XD I might add some more if I can think of any.

I forgot to mention that I almost got struck by lightning twice while building that pool and the building around it |D. I was waaaay up the top of the mountain building the little structiure to contain the diving boards when lightning struck IN THE POOL. I was like "..woah" so I continued to watch the storm when another bolt came down ON WHERE I JUST HAD BEEN BUILDING. So I was like "...NOPE." and ran inside |D.

Oh, and I think there is some way of turning creeper damage to the environment off, so if a creeper explodes, it won't damage what we have built. It might be useful XD

No, TNT works fine with creeper damage off. (trust me, i got caught in the midst of it XD)

I made the archery range today.

I thought of something while playing to add onto that "be careful when using lava/TNT" rule:
If you want to burn down a chunk of forest as a means of clearing out some trees, I think it's ok just as long as you let everyone know AND have some "firefighters" to help control the burn. Because as I've found out in my Single player game, don't underestimate fire.

Oh, Teal, I must say, I am sorry for blowing up your house. It was an accident, I was flattening land to help expand the town and placed teh TNT too close to your house. But I rebuilt it for you, and added a patio and started working on stairs so you can get down to the flat land XD

I have implemented a creeper plug-in. Creepers shouldn't affect terrain now. Be warned, they can still blow you up.

I have also checked the other mods. Mo' creatures CAN be implemented into SMP (survival multiplayer) however it requires that EVERYONE has the client-side mod, everyone who wants to play on the server would have to download something, and also I a lot of extra work on my part. I'm still confused about it honestly.

Single player commands doesnt have a specific bukkit plug in, but I can put in some other plugins that do the same stuff.
What commands on SPC do you want to have on the server? You can already give yourself items, so which ones do you want aside from that?

Something useful for flattening land... TNT is seriously getting annoying, I have to fix things all the time. Something simple that with just a command flattens land would be so perfecdt XD

That's weird about the Mo Creatures mod, I've already got it XD but it's not the latest version. I've been lazy |D. But I can still go update it on here.
I gotta admit, the SPC command for giving items is waaay easier then what we have now. But eh I don't mind if it's not added in.
Maybe add in the Fly command?
I generally use the Fly, Give, Spawn and Waypoint commands the most. I also have Clearwater and the command that stops you from dropping all your items when you die going too. Maybe add those in? XD
D: I don't think SPC can flatten land.

ALSO the Instantmine command for SPC would be awesome too :B

Oh, I have been testing the texture pack thing I was working on, and it looks like it will work, but it looks bulky. I made a yellow person purple by putting on leather armour.
So, I just want to get everyones opinion on what the people of Feralia Aquius should look like. Ideas?

No, I can't really do that. I wish i could, but I can't. Unless I learnt how to make my own mod somehow and made a mod where you can change skin colour and sex and eye colour and hair colour and such. That would be awesome XD

Hey guys, every time you log on type in /list in the chatbox. It'll come up with everyone who is online. If you see someone new who's online, /tp to them and keep an eye on them. We can catch if anyone's griefing this way.

You know, might have minecraft on a family computer or something, family member comes on and decides to mess around. This way we rule that out. And I always use the /list command to see if Anyone else is on. So easy peasy for me XD

Generally with me I'm with Kyu about 99.9% of the time XD and then it's Ghosting and Kaiza. Mostly due to timezones and stuff I think.

My sister georgia, she set an entire town on fire with lava because she was bored (I built most of the town so it peed me off horribly)
My situation is teh same as Draak, with draak most of the time, kaize and ghosting the rest. SOmetimes when I get on no ones on but I either get of after a minute or two of lonely, or someone comes on soon after.

For now, I have a test server up to get used to the new mods. I need to do some more work in the next few days to set everything up perfectly how I want.
So when you spawn you will notice that the town isnt there. DONT PANIC! I have the town saved for when I have everything fixed up.

Roosterinasuit is the guy who compiled the mod plugins. Without the compliation I probably coudlnt have gotten Mo'creatures at all. He just named the folder and some stuff after himself.
I have the latest MoCreatures, SinglePlayerCommands too if that is any useful information. That's why I was confused about it.

Okay guys this is it. I figured all this junk out so now we CAN have Mo'creatures by itself on the server without it screwing up your single player.
But you guys need to actually decide if you want it.
-No kitty items
-No horse taming
-No horse riding
-No water mobs
However everything else is there for your enjoyment. So its time to put it up for a vote. Tell me what you guys want.

So this is what you need to do to get on the server.
You MUST Start off with a fresh version of minecraft THEN:
1) Install Modloader (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v173-risugamis-mods-recipe-book-updated/)
2) Install AudioMod (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v173-risugamis-mods-recipe-book-updated/) & GUIAPI (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/91544-173jul-8-lahwrans-mods-zanminimap-0105-aether-blocks/") (for Mo'creatures)
3) Install ModloaderMP (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/182918-173smp-flans-mods-planes-ww2-guns-vehicles-playerapi-moods-mputils-teams/)
3) Install 16bit Entity (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4976322/minecraft/client/1.7.2/16bitEntityId_ModloaderMP.zip)
4) Delete the META-INF folder
5) Copy the Mo'creautres ZIP file into the .minecraft file, and unzip it there.
Installation HAS TO BE in that EXACT order. Once you have installed all of that, try to get on the server. If you are successful, then feel free to install all the other mods you use for single player.

Also, you may notice a LACK of mo'creatures. This is because people have too many wolves. When there are ~10+ wolves you start seeing less and less other mobs. If people kill their wolves you'll see more mobs.

Hey guys, finally managed to get on a computer.
I just called my dad and he says the server is up and running fine. I know its sort of complicating to install, but its not really that bad.
Also, Draak, I forgot to mention that you need to put the mo'creatures zip in the .minecraft folder and unzip it there. That was a part of the mo'creatures install that I overlooked. I'll amend the instructions to say that.
Also, if you guys are trying to get on and you get errors, its a lot easier to help you if you type out what the error says.
Has anyone managed to get on it yet? Before I left I was able to on my client, so I know it is possible.

Mkay, the server has been successfully De-mo'creatured. One day hopefully Notch will release a mod-kit for the game, so doing this sort of thing wont be so horrible.

It was awesome! I only saw a bit of it, but there are premade towns now. Like you spawn IN a town. I didnt see NPCs but apparently there WILL be in the towns. ANd more towns apparently spawn around the world.
There are also now animations for eating and using a bow. When you hold up a pork chop you like OM NOM NOM it and your food bar goes up. And when you use a bow you have to pull back the string, and the arrow moves farther and shoots stronger the longer you hold the bow ready.
Also, there WERE enderman, they scared me!! SO I didnt go fight one :D *chicken*

Aw I dont think it will be that bad for you. Its hard to have a single player adventure game without leveling, and the eating animation is so funny I dont think the food bar will bother you toooo much.

Honestly I don't know. It sounds like this update will affect survival mode, but I'm not sure if it will work on survival multiplayer right away. If it does, then the server will have to be updated to it, I believe. Although I'm not totally sure.
I have to wait till it comes out though, then I'll figure things out.

I really like the look of the update, but if its possible for non playing members to get it I might not. I don't really like the mines that much, I enjoy diggy diggy. Only thing I really care about is the biomes and new items.

It is a little suspicious that you suddenly asking to join this server when you have no posts anywhere else on this forum and you only registered yesterday. For all we know you could be someone who already has an account here who made a new one just to join and grief our server because you might have something against one of us.
I'm sorry about this minor accusation but I am just being cautious. I'd like to see what you have to say in response to defend yourself and prove you're no threat. x3

You should maybe add the yogbox to the minecraft server C: its a group of mods all packed together. And they have a installer so you don't have to do it :o

Hey Teal, are your farms and stuff on the top of the mountain supposed to have the water falling down on the sides of your mountain? I'm just wondering incase someone decided to go "WHEE WATERFALLS!!1" XDD
I'd have no objections to the Yogbox, though I don't think it'd be a good idea to install it now, being so close to 1.8 release.

Guys, mods dont just magically work on multiplayer. Mo'creatures was hard enough to get to work and you all didnt even want to deal with that. Yogbox would be hell on Earth for me to even TRY to get to work on the server. -_-;;

No 1.8 today/tomorrow. But they're ironing out the bugs which is really good.
Also I think it's official that our map is snow free 8|. Although we haven't explored off the map a lot, so I'm not fully ruling it out yet. I dunno how we can do that without getting lost |D

I understand completely. If you'd like, I could direct you to two server owners I know from joining their servers. I have never griefed, I have never killed anyone outside desginated PvP zones (most of which were self-defense while I was looking around), and Feralheart has become yet another addicting game for me overnight @_@
I dont have posts anywhere because I only found this place a few days ago through a google search for a Minecraft Mo' Creatures server search and your thread came up. :)

Minecraft was personally my favorite game of it's type.
I enjoyed my time of banning griefers and people who liked to cuss me out on my friends old server.
Of coarse, I still need to buy the full version. xD
I'll go ahead and join when I have bought the game, if you will allow me to do so. :)

I like this idea too. Maybe after a week or two or something.
At first I liked the idea of OP-ing everyone, now it's losing its good...ness D: XD. I think it's good if there's a real small bunch of people that trust one another. But when more people/newbies come in that we don't really know (no offense to newbies) they could be a wolf in sheeps clothing and start griefing or something.
But I dunno it's not up to me XD;

How about if we (the people who originally were on the server), plus Wudiin since we know her, act as mods on the server? Then when new people join they can have a limit of things they can do (building and stuff but no commands such as /give), and after a while if they prove they're good people they get all the rights too. I'm not really sure how this would be set up though.

Well basically thats what OPs are. Any OP can OP any other player, so basically anyone who is an OP is a mod.
I just say let them in and we'll watch them for a while. Im not too worried. Thats what backups are for anyways.
Also, Shadow in case you didnt see, the server doesnt have Mo'creatures anymore if thats what you were looking for in a server. Just an FYI.

i was already told Mo Creatures was disabled, and it would have been gone anyway with 1.8. Im looking for a good server with good people that isnt going to die off anytime soon.
My game name is ShadowX116. I have had around 4 months experience with Minecraft, mastered it in two days, and can be a great help if Im not greifed too often. Most likely in the Mining and Farming departments.

I HAVE 1.8 ON MY MINECRAFT AND IT WORKS FINE!!!!
I have to check with the server though, to see if I can still connect to that (Might be an issue with the sever still bein 1.7.3 if it is still that.)
I think you guys shoudl be able to use 1.8, if I can without a paid account! My only issue is the shadows keep glitching for me.

I think shadows have always glitched. Just put a torch down and take it right back. :P

But Chickens are harder to find I think.. Sheep are all over the place tho.

I had like 10 - 20 chickens clucking around when I was on my single player game... So I don't think they're that hard to find, perhaps they just don't like you XDDD

Just an FYI guys I cant update the server till Bukkit updates. That could still be a few days. A lot changed with 1.8.
Feel free to use your 1.7.3 clients to still connect to the server though, its still running fine.

8C... From my single player. THREE Endermen spawned in that field. I stayed well away from them, though running back I almost ran into one that was near my house DDD:

One enderman appeared outside my house on my single player game... then he walked away with a grass block XD I also tried creative mode... I got stuck in the air because I found out how to fly but not how to get down XDDD

I would not have been happy if one spawned right outside my house XD. I haven't tried creative mode yet.
I found my first true ravine...at the bottom of a deep lake lol. There was this odd hole I thought was an error on the lake bed but it turns out it lead into this huge ravine. It has a few lava falls and waterfalls as well as an abandoned mine. I hate hate hate the spider spawners in those mines >8|

Like completely new, Since we got new resources and everything.
And with 1.8.1, On Creative, Do a lot of planning about what structures should be built and stuff, since Creative has unlimited blocks, Flying, No Bars (Health, Hunger, Exp etc....)

I think you can only make a giant shroom yourself by using bonemeal on a normal mushroom. And Strongholds are extremely rare.

I was in creative mode and I saw some endermen so i looked at them, I was hovering over the water and they started chasing me on land, and as soon as they got in the lake they were flashing red. After a few seconds they fell over and disappeared!

I can't get on without everything not responding >.> So I am going to use my usual tactic of not turning my laptop on for a week or so, come back, and see if the issue is still there XD

If you can manage to get it running, get malwarebytes. It is the best program to flush out viruses!

Also, bukkit has updated guys, but the server is down for a few days. There is a guy coming to replace the our furnace and the server is right in front of the furnace, so I had to unplug and move it. :|

Yeah, Norton sucks :\ it wasn't able to detect a Worm virus that was on my laptop ages ago 8| Luckily the worm hadn't "Activated" yet and I flushed it out with Malwarebytes.

Our server doesn't restrict members like you(No pay) as far as I know, Kyu, DA, and Teal don't. But something might have changed when it updated to 1.8, you'd have to ask Ghosting on that part.

We would have to send you the Ip. you then go on mine-craft, put in a name at the first screen, go to multiplayer and write in the ip. Then hit join, simple XD A majority of us on the server don't pay for mine-craft.

Update!!!
Server is up, running and should be working well. Server version is for 1.8.1
Note: if you have the 1.9 pre-release, you cannot connect to the server! Use 1.8!
Fixes:
Creepers now spawn again. Note, when they explode they do not damage their surroundings.
New features:
Enderman. Enderman now spawn on the server. Note; they have been nerfed. They cannot take blocks out of the town. They do pick up "clone" blocks though, but cannot place them anywhere.
Animals: Animals now spawn only ONCE per chunk. Please do not kill them or we wont have anymore.
Flying. OPs are now able to fly and have any block they want and be invincible. This is a new addition to 1.8. It changes your game mode from survival to creative. The command is: /gamemode <playername> <gamemode>
In the <gamemode> slot you write 0 or 1. 0 is survival and 1 is creative.
(example) typeing: /gamemode Ghostinghowl 1
Would put me into creative mode. Press spacebar twice to start flying. Space makes you go higher, shift makes you go lower. Double tap space to stop flying.
All that other stuff: yep, we got it.

D: although I should let you guys know, that 1.8 really does not like my laptop. It likes to make it overheat spontaneously and unpredictibly. Most of the time it's alright though. But just putting this out there.
If I randomly dissappear and not comeback, it's highly likely that my laptop overheated.

Oh Draak, there's a mod you might be interested in. Its called Optifine. It optimizes minecraft to not use as many resources and be easier on your computer. Maybe it will work for you?

I hope no one minds but I changed the fence around the graveyard to iron bars since its more traditional.
Edit: I also got rid of the pig spawner next to the graveyard, because there were SO MANY OF THEM. PIGS ERRYWHERE.

Found the problem. My IP address has changed. Thats really odd, hasn't happened before now! Anyways the IP of the server has also changed because of that. I'll send out the new IP to people who are on the forums, but for others who don't visit, other people will have to tell them.
Also, I noticed that someone spawned a ton of chickens, please don't do this. Unnecessary amounts of mobs cause lag for people with bad connections. Even I was getting some lag when I logged on, and I have an amazing connection.
Im not saying you cant spawn mobs, but please dont spawn ridiculous numbers of them. Thanks.

Yeah, It looks like you can only get those blocks from TMI, and even they they don't have the red and browny outer layers :\

I use: "Play Minecraft Classic (Outdated, but free)". I click on the "multiplayer" under the outdated thingy, and then I can choose a server...

You need the most updated version to play on the server. Which would be 1.8. Classic is like .5 or something.
You can buy the game for $15 dollars on the site though! Its completely legit and safe and a great deal.

I can't remember who's it was the first time, but I just went on to see you had put a sign up out the front of Meowzers house saying it was yours. Ask people before assuming that something is for teh taking.

I'd also like to know who thought it was a good idea to build holes in my castle. These aren't accidental holes, there were fences and gates. Someone seemed to think it would be a good idea to build holes because that old path is under the castle. That path was going to be removed and rebuilt once the wall and town and all that were built. Please don't smash your way through the castle because of that.
And the fences everywhere! It's really annoying! I took them all down because whoever put them up obviously had no clue what they were doing, fencing in teh spawn meadow.

Oh sorry about that Kyu, I was leading Jay to town and the path still wasn't built, so I broke into the castle. Honestly I only broke like 2 walls so it wasn't thaaaat big of I deal I thought. I filled in the one that was inside though, just to keep stuff out.

No, it was more than that, they broke the inner castle walls, the outer walls, built gates and stairs >.> Leading her through was fine, and you filled it in, but someone dug through agaion obviously because there was a huge hole down the side of teh castle.

It was worse before, there was a small stream zigzagging through your front yard that I filled in.

Why can't I use my Mod Commands?
It's says Bukkit sadly cannot let me use Commands!
You got de-opped. because we decided to only have a certain amount of opps to act as mods on the server because of the griefings we've had.

Im trying to fix the spawn point soon. Upgrading from 1.7 to 1.8 messed it all up. As soon as the plug in I need updates I'll sort it out, sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay um, that's fuggin awesome. When I update the server I will be adding that plugin.
So guys I was thinking, right now everything is kind of unstable because of all the pre-releases and everything, so I was thinking of just leaving the server as it is till full release, which is Nov 18th.
What do you guys think about that?

Now I want to get on, but it just lags massively from here. The irony is, is that my friend that I'm staying with has incredbly awesome internet, but I guess this laptop can't handle Minecraft.
I'm not sure what we should do.

At this point in time I think it is safe to say we have a serious greifing problem. I haven't been on in a while, so I haven't seen the issue (I put a mod on my minecraft that makes it lag so terribly I would never be able to function online so I have to remove it before I can.) but the greifer has gotten bolder.
I think we need to interrogate people, if we can get them, and start removing people from the server if we think they are suspicious. Since we can't say for certain who it is without actually catching them in the act.

Alright everyone, Ive been reading the logs and I basically know who did it. Since yesterday before Teal's house was griefed, only 3 people have logged onto the server. Myself, Kaiza, and one other person..
I'm sure no one would suspect Kaiza or myself of griefing, so I'd just like the person to know that I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I know you read this thread, and I know YOU have been griefing my server. To answer your question, YES, the server can read your IP and knows who you are even when you log in with a different name.
I am giving you one chance to fess up now and apologize. Either here on the thread or PM me personally. If you apologize your punishment will be lighter.
I'd like to discuss this with some of the mods if possible. I'd like to meet you guys on the server at some time to do so.
Also, a note, I backed up the server today to roll back if anything else gets griefed as severely as Teal's house was. I apologize teal, in the future I will add more security. If you need help rebuilding your house I'd be glad to help.

Just so everyone is on the same page, the griefer contacted me and said they didn't want to play on the server anymore. As such, they were IP banned for safety measures as well as punishment.
Everyone's structures should be safe now. If anyone finds anything griefed in the future, don't hesitate to let me know.

Just a general MC update guys! If you ever actually want to buy the game (we can see your skin, you can go on all servers, etc), I suggest buying it before November 18th. The price will increase from $15 USD to $20 USD. Not too high of a change, but if you want to save yourself five bucks I recommend buying soon!
Saving money is also a good excuse to give your parents! lols

Yeah its been REALLY quiet lately. Ive been popping around 'modderating' some stuff.
About the new map, the only thing I for sure wont be able to move is the nether, we'll have to start off with a new one. I know someone made our nether really pretty, so I hope thats okay with them.
Also, another thing, several people have random houses/mansions not near the town. I'd like to know who is okay with loosing those and who isnt. Im fairly positive Wudiin would want to keep her stuff, seeing as she spent so much time on them, but what about everyone else?

Minecraft was fully released today! Its not in Beta anymore. So the version number changed from 1.8.1 to 1.0 again. Thats what Draak means :)

I spawned in a forest again 8| though there is a swamp biome close by. I've found TONS of sheep. No cows and very few pigs. Couple of chickens though.
I've tried breeding XD the baby animals are hilarious with their bobble heads XDDD
The Swamp biome is riddled with Creepers 8|
And the new sounds are going to take getting used to, in a good way XD

As for the sounds.. I mostly like everything. I miss some of the old ones but the new ones are good too. The only one I HATE HATE HATE is the fall damage sound. It makes me twitch in pain every time I hear it.

Dunno. I did lock this one thread by Awseomness4ever or whatever her name is, and coincedently her Karma seems to have increased by about the same amount. I locked it because she was using a IT particle as a competition prize, saying it was hers (which somehow ISN'T the same as claiming it, no clue how that works XD), and then her friend came on and started insulting people for saying Awesomness4ever shouldn't be doing that and I warned her that it might be copyrighted so she should check that it is ok before she starts doing something stupid like that, and general arguing was starting up because they were being rude and nasty abd blah but because her friend gave it to her from her IT files apparantly that gives her permission to do what ever she wants with it, and say it is hers.

I have confidence in Jeb. He has proven to be a great programmer. He is actually the guy who designed and coded the wolves.
As for new members, I'd like everyone to know that when the server does update it will have MUCH more security, so we have no reason to shy away from allowing new members.
Also, the server is and has been down for a while. It will be up and running once bukkit updates and we have some mandatory meet ups to help remake the server for 1.0.1. and when my finals are over *shot*

Now it is time to plan! The map making party can finally commence! But we all need to decide on a date that fits with most of our schedules. I know its going to have to be in the lateish night PST (my time) to accommodate the Australian users, but I hope that wont mess anything up for the east coast people.

Usually lag is less on servers because the server renders the game for you, but that isnt counting internet lag ^^; But with a new map it shouldnt be too bad I hope.

One of my christmas presents was Sims 3 pets but it keeps crashing, and our desktop computer broke, and the only computer with sims 3 other than these is my little sisters laptop and she is now hogging MY game. Because I said I would put it on her computer if she let me make a saved game, but I never got to touch it because she just took the laptop and buggered off with everything including the disk and case.

I am going to try and see if I can get two or three super mods and hopefully they will have different timezones. They also need to be pretty active. However, I'll talk more about that when we get the server going.

Jayfeather, Copper and I found an epic cave/mineshaft today.
I found a stack of 9 diamonds in it 8D. And then Fortune enchantment turned it to 15 sdasfasd.
I've built a railway to the mineshaft, it's located in the swamp. The track goes right into the mine and ends up next to the safehouse.
I also built the "Foodinator", go ingame to see what it does :B
AND I rebuilt the waterslide. It's near the pool.
And Copper, I managed to refind the safehouse, so I ferried your stuff. Although I guess it's a bit redundant now since the rail is right there XD.
