Title: Trouble with height map please help

im makeing a map but i have a made a height map but its not working and i dont know how to make it work :(

Is the image set to grayscale? Are you using GIMP or Photoshop? Is it ONE LAYER only? Are the dimensions 512x512 or 513x513? Is the image square? Are you saving it as a .png file? Please provide more detail in order for someone to be able to help you. Also, check out the "Member Made Tutorials" board and that might be able to help you as well. I'd give you the link but unfortunately I'm on my phone and can't do that. Just go to the Forum, scroll down, and click on Member Made Tutorials. Search around that board for a heightmap tutorial. Good luck with your map.
