ok so i have a little problem :I.. i downloaded all the stuff from our groups map.. and i put it all in the exports folder like i was supposed to.. i went to cape.. and i saw the portal.. and i jumped in.. i was all exited about finally getting to see the map.. but then.. the game crashes >:I so i went to the exports folder and the website i downloaded the map from.. and i checked and i had everything in there.. so i decided to try a couple of more times.. and the game keeps crashing.. i went on another character.. and the same thing happens.. i want some help

This belongs in game help.

Anyway, if the map have a weather file, try to delete that one. Because my friends had this problem with my map, and when the deleted the weather file it worked fine

ok well i looked in the folder and it doesnt have a weather file.. it has a cycle, map, sky and rbs file

I hate that weather/cycle file glitch... :T Though usually if I put them in the sky folder instead of exports, it works just fine.

ok ill try putting the cycle file in the sky folder and if the game still crashes ill delete the cycle file

._. bad news.. i tried both and it still didnt work.. maybe the map has a problem or something

As stated, this was posted in the wrong section, but I'm sure someone will move it. It's not really a problem.

First, I'd try switching Rendering Subsystems, by going to "Options," "Video," "Rendering Subsystem" and switching it. (Then restart the game as it will tell you.) Then try to log on with that character.

If that doesn't fix it, try closing all windows and restarting your computer to clear it up a bit. Then try logging on again.

Still no luck, ask if the map works for anyone else. If it doesn't then it may be the cycle. The map creator would have to re-export the map without the cycle file though, because sometimes if you delete it, the game will crash, saying the weather wasn't found.

If the map does work for others, then it's something to do with the map not loading properly. Try everything above, and maybe check your connection.
