Title: Public Maps???

How do u make your maps public? I made some maps and said ill put them up for download which i can do but i want to make them public too. So please give me some steps on how to do it cause it would make me really really happy and appreciated!!!

You put your map on something like mediafire, then give the link to your friends.

Thats how i thought u put it up for download but u sure it makes it public?

  Just put the link up where anyone can download it. There is no actual 'public/private' options or anything, public just means anyone can download, and private means only certain people can have the map. You can't set it so that everyone has it.

just a question on the uploading but i cant drag the other files into the fhm zip file. On the tutorial thing it says after i compress the map into a zip file i have to drag the object, weather etc into the zip file then put it onto mediafire. I thought it would work but it doesnt so maybe i dont know how to do it after all.

Once the files are in a zip folder. You can drag it onto the mediafire webpage. If that doesn't work click the green box "Drag and drop files here to upload." And it will come up with a window to drag and drop. Click there, and it'll bring up a thing were you may browse for the desired file to be uploaded.

Well could i extract the zip file into a normal folder, put the rest of the files in, then change back to a zip file and upload it?

Do you know how to compress into a RAR or ZIP?

Using WinRAR, you highlight ALL the files at once you wish to compress, then clikc add archive, select RAR or ZIP, and then select whatever the finish button is

Using WinZIP...well...idk. I haven't used that in awhile..
