Title: How to Make Big Maps?
Post by: Purplellamarider on August 11, 2011, 02:17:24 am
So I've gotten into map making, I've made height maps and terrain masks. I read on a tutorial that you have to make them 513x513 pixels. But here's the thing, I've seen people make HUGE maps. How do I make a map that's bigger than 513x513 pixels?

-Thanks.

Its still same size on the image, you just have to change size in map maker -> World and Width

If anyone could tell me, I have made a 1500x1500 TERRAIN. now, my texture works, but my terrain won't. It crashes when I load it in, and I have infact changed the width and height twice with different sizes, I even shrunk the image itself and it still won't work.

Locking this for the reasons mentioned above. Please be careful not to reply to old threads (this one is quite a few years old.) If you are having an issue, please consider creating your own thread or checking past threads that may give you the solution to your problem.
