I was thinking about the next patch, and older versions of the game, and I had this idea. If someones computer cant handle a certain patch, then we could have all the different patches up for download, so you dont have to download the whole version and crash your computer. people who have the same patch as you can see you, and you them. I dont really expect this to be added, as it would take effort and we already probly got to far for that, but its worth mentioning. :)

It would be nice to have a lower-graphics version and a high detailed. So users with not so good comps could easy play FH and others with good comps too.
To that Patch-Idea. due to the server-communication thats not possible. If your game is old and a new patch isreleased, the game will ask you to download the latest patch, otherweise you cant even log in. But thats not a game problem, it is because the modified server cant communicate with an old game version if a patch was released. But thats not with every patch, just the ones which have stuff like new chats or features which include communication with the server in a new way.

i agree. bu i think the way updates and new patches work is that they modify the one version then put the modified game up. im not sure... but i think thats the way it is.

The patches doesn't really change that much inside the game that changes how well it runs on a bigger scale, so I actually find this a tad bit "meh".
sure, more content is added to the game. But it's still the same engine inside the game, patches doesn't cause the lag or a slow game in general.
As far as I know. Since the launch of the game in January, there has been no bigger graphical enhancements to the game. If your game would get more laggy from a patch you probably need to take a look on the comp in general and how you handle it cause a patch shouldn't really give problems, they should solve them in most cases xD

thx, but actually I'm not haveing problems with FH right now XD I'm just wondering how the comp's gonna react if hunting is added, and I thought it might be worth suggesting
