Glave Maps: Updated 8-13-2012
Update Info: EdenIsland has sat so long unused and still completed. Now it finally has a home in the map pack so I hope it is able to be enjoyed. There is a music track with this map and to get there you will have to have all three previous maps. Can you and your mate find your way to EdenIsland? Enjoy!
I have posted all my map images on DA as it's easier to add new folders for new maps and edit them as needed. So instead of having to make individual forum posts and making a complete mess of the forums I will use this thread to post a favorite pic of each of my maps along with a brief description and a link to each of the screenshot galleries on DeviantArt. Please note that you can look through the galleries without a DA account.

Info: This map was made for Coal, however, it is sadly sitting unused. I am re-releasing it under a new name for the public, this will allow Coal to use 'Utopia' as her private map while 'EdenIsland' is enjoyed by any who wish to explore.

Info: I wanted to try something I saw down on a dune trip. This map looks beautiful so far and I also experimented with some water stuff here to make it seem more like 'beach waves'. Hmm...A particle idea has sprung forth... XD

Tranquility Map Info
This map was my first and constructed with some quick ideas I really just wanted to test and toy with. Much later I added the elemental crystals which I have decided will be a growing theme throughout each map I create <as well as commissions> You should always find at least one of each elemental crystal, Life, Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Shadow. This map is meant for relaxation, exploration and is set up with both Canine and Feline den areas as well as some loner dens. There is also potential for at least three clan/pack/prides to be set up here. Please read post three for any rules and fun things to do on this map. <I have come to enjoy hiding stuff on the maps and though Tranquility doesn't have that many being my first map (and the fact I have shown much of the hidden stuff in screenshots anyway) the third post will have a little 'scavenger hunt' list of stuff.>
Upon entry from the cape you come into a cave. There are a couple of rocks to climb, good for awaiting friends to show up.

Not far is another cave to the left and a great surprise....a wishing well! It seems it hasn't been used in some time but the last person to drudge up the bucket found something....

In the cave just opposite of the well there is a break in the roof, allowing light into this room. Here you will find the Fire and Earth crystals, a strange combination but they seem to be getting along here well enough.

Venturing out of the caves you spot the howling wolf swimming hole and at your left, a cozy little spot with a big oak tree.

Off to the side, the howling wolf swimming hole opens to the ocean where you can sit upon the rock and gaze out.

Back along the cave wall you may notice a couple more caverns. This one holds an unusual surprise, giant urns! This spot is great for a small group to stay in, maybe an outcast family? A custom fountain sits in the midst of this cave as well.

This cavern is a nice romantic hideaway decorated with some wisteria plants.

More exploration will reveal a forest of pine trees and big plants, watch out for the occasional pond...

Off to the side, a huge waterfall and small lake with flourite crystal and just behind that waterfall you will find this maps water crystals! <In a possible future update I may place a gate for the Mystic Caverns here>

Here is what I like to call the Mush-lounge. Such overgrowth! What could cause this? Why, its the Life crystals over there by that small waterfall....OOPS!!! Don't venture too close, you might fall down the well!

Map Rules
1: All general FH rules apply here, you all should know what those are!
2: I don't encourage any cussing but if you must do so to keep in character, be sure its light.
3: DO NOT claim dens or spots for your own. If anyone comes into the den area your RPing at just roll with the idea. If they aren't willing to play along then ignoring them is key.

lol thanks but unfortunately its not exactly complete. I have a portal issue to fix on it. But I will have it up for download to the public when its ready. Also, I decided the music set for it doesn't quite fit so I am putting a different one to it, one that sounds far more....'tranquil'.

@Jack: gah hmm...er....well....I have to find that link...it was a Wombat mesh and I have two different ones now. That particular one happens to be somewhere in the mesh posts, but I will see what I can do about putting it together with the human stuff on my page.

Thanks Thierry! I am glad you like it! I have given it a bit of a face lift and I am preparing to add a few more things to it. <minor things> Like updating the scavenger a bit and adding a couple of portals to some new maps including Mystic Caverns which I recently finished.

@Kae Kae: I am actually working on a four region map right now so and after that I want to work on another one of my maps <get some of them done on the first post list> But it does sound simple enough.
@Seamless: Thank you! I have finished an FH+ Version of this map and I am going to take all new screenshots. Other than that, this map is finished. I am undecided on if it shall be public or not, so far there are about five or so friends who have this map.

DarkMist: Yea, unfortunately I use photobucket and if people view the pics allot and it gets high bandwidth then they shut all the pics out for a while. On the 16th of every month it will refresh and all the pics will return to normal. I put out more and more particle and Mesh shots all the time and of course I hope to get more map shots out there. Mystic Caverns is finished and I need to take lots of pics for it, however, if this bandwidth thing continues I may have to find a different way to post my pics. Any suggestions would be great, I need it to be free and be able to handle the views they are getting! Currently Photobucket is the only one I know of since I don't have allot of time to peruse the internet for solutions.
I thing the only other option is to bundle some of my shots like meshes and particles into mass shots of them, however this limits the size and would make things harder to see.

mmmm..... when i use dropbox for images they load fine, but some people complains about they can not download zips from dropbox.
fileden is bad for photos, they load so slow.
currently i use http://subefotos.com/ (http://subefotos.com/) but it is in spanish :P

Well, I use tinypic, it's free and I believe you can have unlimited views with it. It works just fine, and I haven't had many problems with it. A picture was randomly deleted once, but other than that, it works just fine. I can't get a link to it as the site won't load right now for some reason. Sorry about that.

Good things come to those who wait. However you shouldn't have to wait too long. Tranquility has been completed and there will be a download link up for it fairly soon. I cannot give a date, I can only say please be patient a while longer. I have other maps linked to Tranquility that I am editing as well as working on Meshes and Particles.

No worries Freya, My OBJ files will be the first things to be put out before any maps and they are a tad big.
I plan on releasing Tranquility hmm...I dunno, maybe sometime in the first two weeks of April.

I did some updating to this post and will be changing things around slowly but surely. The post now includes links to the DA screenshots of each map <or at least the ones posted on DA.> The old links will remain for now as they have screenshots already but I may have them locked out in the future so that the forums aren't cluttered with unnecessary forum threads.
Also I hope giving info on each link helps, I am sorry to say many of them are not going to be public so far, however Tranquility will be up just after I get my huge map object files up.

Update! Mystic Caverns is finished and uploaded! BEFORE you download please note, you need to have the GLObjects 1 and 2 to see the objects in map as well as Tranquility to get there. CAUTION: This map may be a bit laggy for those of you with slower computers.

They all are SO awesome! <3 Can u tell me how to get heightmaps to work? i put them in their folder, the are grey and .png i put them into media terrains textures but fh always crashes if i try to load 'em. ): you can find me in your maps. ^^

Did you check to be sure that when you made the map that it was 513 X 513 pixels? Anything bigger will crash FH. Just remember, the size of the heightmap image has nothing to do with map size because you can change that in your map maker.
