Title: Getting To Your Map

Okay so I've downloaded maps and everytime I do I can never find a portal when I get to the Cape of Distant Worlds. I never got the chance to download the mappack(don't know if you need that to download other maps). What am I doing wrong? I put my map downloads in exports, and I have tried unzipping them as well as keeping them zipped.

Well wen u extract the zip file a folder appears, and u hav to take the file out of the folder and put it in exports. Try it and tell me how it goes

If it's a rar file, then you have to extract it.

Just look for the all the files that have :
.fhm
.fho
.fhs
.fhw

Copy and paste them into your exports folder. You might not have all the files, but the .fhm is certain.
Other wise, if the map you downloaded have instructions, follow them.
