Title: (Reposting) How to set up your preset pelt.

So, this is confusing.. very confusing. Even the very names twist my brain out.
I don't think I explained myself well enough on my last thread, so here we go..

How do I set it up so I can use it?

Well to start of with you need to find the page that has the on then press on the mediafire link and and download it im going to make some tutorials on how to do it

You need to get the download link from the person who made the preset. Then you copy and paste the files into your "presets" folder.

Yes, I have the files downloaded already.

Okay, I have the files downloaded 'n all that. I'm going to try what you told me to do.

Yeah, so I tried doing that, but it's not working.

You sure it's a public preset? Some presets are set up so you can only veiw them on others, not your own. But if it is public once you have put it in your presets you go into the game, then tools, then preset maker. You then have to go to the last tab and click through and find the preset, and then click export. You should then be able to use th preset on your character through teh character editor when you log in.

The download you have there are already exported presets = They only show someone elses made preset and you wont be able to use it yourself. You see the creator when they use it.


But, if this was what you intented.

If the preset creator made the preset correctly. All you need to do is to paste all the .fhp files into the "Presets" folder laying here
C:\FeralHeart\presets

And then next time you see them in the game, they should have the presets.

You might have to extract the files if it's a rar. A program like WinRAR can do that.

Okay, I'm starting to understand what you mean now. I find it a shame that others can't see your presets unless you send them your file. :( Maybe in the future they'll make it so it's not needed.
