I decided to make a Meerkat roleplay! Since no one seems to even make any so I hope i'm the first :D Anyway, Here are the rules.
1. No Godmodding/Powerplaying!
2. No making your character love your other characters.
3. When you get pregnant, you risk having your pups killed by the leader or being banished and left with a few scars.
4. Please don't make other clans unless I approve of them, Just ask me. (None, for now. Just join the Whiskers clan for now)
5. If you read all these rules put 'cookie' in the other part in the form.
6. Don't come here to just insult the thread, Keep your opinions to yourself.
7. Don't kill someone elses character unless they say its allowed.
8. Only two strengths are allowed, And atleast TWO weaknesses

She is a really brave leader and will do everything to protect her clan, Although she is usually the one who goes in to inspect a den so no one else would get hurt. Also, she is a very bad at climbing things, So when trying to escape things she is one to jump instead of climb but that might make her hit her head, fall back into the enemies clutches, Ram into a snake thats up there by accident and more.
Strength(s):
Salahari is a very good forager, She is one to smell the ground for the scent of food and quickly dig to find it. This meerkat also is able to dig very smoothly and quick so that adds onto her strength at being a good person at getting food. Her other strength is fighting, She is one to charge head on then use her speed to jump away and catch the enemy off guard by sliding under them and biting their belly or doing the jumping thing then ramming into their side.

The young female crawled out from her burrow as the sun was slowly rising. She made small sounds to try and alert her two clan members that it was time to go out to forage. Salahari awaited them by laying in the sun and grooming her fur.

The young meerkat pup was trying to follow her mother out of the den. At least aopted mother because before rocketdog died she saved the pup of another clan who is now a really young whisker. A first glimps of light was caught and she squeaked with surprise. "Bright!!!" She though continued to waddle and stumble out of the den after Salahari.
(They can't exit until 3 weeks of age so she's causing trouble.)

The male meerkat emerged glad to start an new day in his new clan. His other clan had been horrible to him so he hoped this one would be better. He saw Salahari and started grooming her in submission(saying that he knew she was boss and he wasnt going to challenge her).

As Vitani was stumbling clumsily towards Salahari, She started squeaking at her in a way of begging. She was starving and identified that this very small clan with a female or two had only the leader was up, and she knows the leader. She curled up beside Salahari and shivered in her being young.

Munro crawled slowly from teh den, stretching lazily, yawning. He then stood up, looking around. After all, you could never be too careful, predators could be any where. Once he was satisfied there was nothing at the moment he relaxed slightly, but was still alert.

As Vitani could see now the clan was awake. She began stumbling towards Munro to greet him good morning. She was looking at him as he layed down and decided to mimmic him with the being alert thing. She stood on her back legs and looked around but stumbled nd fell onto him.

Kolo saw the pup and relized he was hungry. As if on que a juicy lizard hunting a fly came out behind a rock near the burrow entance. Kolo knew the lizard was to busy to notice the Clan and pounced on the lizard and killed it. He then took it back to Vitani. He was hungry himself but nothing could make him abandon his duty to his clan, anyway he could wait till they all went foraging.

Vitani ran up to Kolo and began squeaking and nipping at the lizard. She yanked it from him and began to gobble it down with silent joy. (fail.)

Kolo laughed hard, young pups were so funny. He went and joined Munro, he liked this male meerkat although he was competition, Munro was very good at guard duty and would protect his clan whatever the cost.

Salahari sighed, she wished the clan was bigger so she could go on a hunting party and bring back more food. She scanned the territory and dug at the ground, quickly snapping up a grub in the ground. The female ate it hungrily before she quickly scurried off a little more to find food. A aroma quickly came into her nose and she padded over to it, She dug at the ground quickly and her eyes looked at what she had found. There seemed to be 16 of them, and they looked like fruit. "Kalahari Truffles!"

Kolo watched Salahari dig and saw her dig up kalahari truffles. His belly rumbled but he showed respect to Salahari by not stealing any. He saw a tiny grub and ate it quickly before it got away. Kolo saw Vitani had finished her lizard and was wondering away, he went up to her and picked her up by the scruff and was met with squeaks of protest but didnt drop her, he then carried her into the burrow and let out a growl of warning as not to go out when she is to young, as Vitani might get picked off by an ambitious predator. He then got to his daily routine and started digging the burrow entance making it wider for any quick escapes they might need to do.

Vitani was beginning to wonder what the world out there was like. A beautiful desert full of adventure. All new things to s- Being grabbed by the scruff made her come back from her thoughts. She squeaked with protest and tried to wiggle out. Once brought back into the burrow she was put down and had been given a growl of warning. Then he left and she was alone in the den. She scurried through her chambers and paused to look at the black thing that was always in the den and had a glass rock in it. She pawed at it for a second but lost interest quickly and moved on.

Once Kolo had finished he went down the burrow to look for Vitani. He thought he had been a bit hard on the little pup and he wanted to apologize. He soon found Vitani not far from where he dropped her, and curled his body around the pup and gave it a cuddle. He then settled there for a couple of minutes as young pups make great hot waterbottles. (XD)

Salahari nudged the truffles one by one to the other members of the clan, making it so they all had four of them. With a grin she quickly dug into one.

Vitani gave a squeak as Kolo curled around her and she curled beside him in his little curl and shared heat. She loved being in a group curl.

Kolo saw Salahari drop 8 truffles by him and Vitani and he licked Salahari's cheek as a thank you. He felt Vitani jump out of her potition and straight for the truffles. He smiled and tucked into his share.

Once he had eaten the truffles he went back outside. The sun was shineing and the sand was quite hot. Then he looked the other way and shock took over him as an eagle owl was nesting in a tree about 1 mile away. This was something to be worried about. He quickly sounded the alarm and made sure everyone was underground then went down the burrow himself, he kept his head outside keeping an eye on the owl for any signs of attack and his body in the burrow so he could just reverse quickly if the Eagle Owl disided that he was dinner.

Salahari nudged at Kolo, moving forward and crawling out. She jumped up and down and made loud calls at the eagle owl. Its gaze landed on her and it immediately flew her way. The female ran as fast as she could away from the eagle, jumping over rocks and running through thick grass. It let out a sqawk of pain as it soon banged into a rock she had jumped over at the last minute. Salahari looked at the slowly dieing predator she let out a small call of joy.

Kolo stared transfixed at where Salahari had disapeared too, he wanted to go help he didn't know what happened to her(he can't see behind the thick grass). But if he moved then Vitani might follow and the Eagle Owl might come back for second helpings! He quickly went into the burrow and told Munro not to let Vitani go outside the burrow entrance. He went back outside scanning the sky at all times while he walked to where Salahari disapeared too. When he had got through some thick grass, he saw the dieing Eagle Owl. He stared in astonishment. Had Salahari done this?

As Kolo peeked around the rock he saw Salahari squeaking with joy. He then gave a little peep two and Salahari immediatly turned his way alarmed but then her eyes showed a glimmer of amusment. Kolo went up to Salahari and greeted her with a touch to the nose, he then started grooming her gently as a way of showing THANK GOD YOUR ALIVE I THOUGHT I LOST YOU!

JUST AN IDEA. To spice up the roleplay, you could have two mobs, and meerkats in one could put their posts in green, while the other posts can be blue or something. JUST AN IDEA.

Salahari smiled at Kolo and groomed him back before rising and walking back towards their home with a proud smirk. The kat looked at the two new members and smiled. She walked up to them and greeted them by grooming their fur each. She moved towards the outskirt of the camp again and began searching for food for the newcomers and the whole clan. The meerkat managed to snap up a few grubs and one scorpion. After she was done, she rolled them towards the camp and placed them down. Moving away as a sign of, You are allowed to eat.
(Warning: Salahari is not easy to woo xD))
(Edit: That would be cool :D But I would like to get more members for this clan, I want to do that because if I made a new one people would be rushing to be leader/joining the other clan and stuff :C So when we get enough members Ill allow more clans. WOOHOO TERRITORY WARS))

Veen slunk closer to the mob he had been watching. Taking a deep breath, he slowly crawled into the open, churring. He waited for a leader to come and confront him. He flipped his tail, acknowledging(How the heck do you spell that? XD) the warm welcome.
Holly growled. She had passed the borders, not a care in the world. So what if a mob lived here? Not her problem. In fact, she'd just leave her own borders! Angrily, she furiously scent- marked a bush, rubbing around it. Then stopped. What was this helping? Growling, she stiffly strutted foreward, stopping every once in a while to forage.
EDIT: OH I didn't read that part of your post XDDD Can we say Holly hasn't stumbled across the group yet?

Salahari raised her head to the air and sniffed, two loners entered her nose. Normally, she would have chased them off. But since her clan was so little, she would need many others to join. Which one to confront first, the male or the female? She ran towards the female first and let loose a sound so she would know someone was here. "Hello there."

Holly whipped around, making a screech so loud even a coyote would think twice before lunging at her. She then quieted, realizing this was a chance to have a family. "Oh! Pardon me. Didn't expect someone to startle me at that moment." Chittering nervously, she sat, head dipped low.

The meerkat smiled at the other and sat down. "Its okay." She grinned at the other and spoke once again. "Why are you all alone? Do you not have a clan? You may join mine if you like."

Holly nodded, standing. "Yes, that sounds nice. I'll do that." She purpously didn't answer the first question, hoping the other she-kat wouldn't say anything more.

Salahari noticed how the female ignored her two first questions, she chose to leave it like that and she smiled at the other meerkat. "Follow me then." Then, the leader bolted away towards the clan.

After reaching the clan, she decided to go confront the male. "Probably a rover." Salahari let out a chuckle and slunk into the grass, padding towards the loner with a confident bounce in her step. She let loose a sound, like how she did with the female so he would know she was here.

Kolo smiled at Holly, while she went over to the burrow entrance and layed down, he then saw Veen and his smile faded. This male would be competition, he could tell. Although Kolo was older he didn't have much stamina and this would make them very even. Kolo frowned at the thought of having to fight but if he had to he would happily take the challenge. Kolo sighed then went over to Holly and churred at her as a welcome, then he laid down next to her feeling the cool sand on his stomach.

Salahari moved from her spot and stood on the rock. She made small peeping sounds to try and form a hunting party. "Kolo and Veen. Would you like to come to a hunting party with me? And Munro and Holly, do you mind watching over Vitani?" She said pointing to the pup in the process.

"I would love to" he churred. He went and sat down at the front of the rock. He had heard Salahari had said Veen as well, he frowned. He hoped that Veen wouldn't challenge him on this hunting party.

Holly nodded, pawing up some sand. She glanced at the pup, thinking of how she whished to have her own.

She smiled at both of them before bolting from the camp, hoping they were following her. She led them too a place she knew had alot of nice things underground.

Kolo bolted after Salahari trying to catch up and run next to her but she was to fast. He sighed wondering if he will ever get a mate, he fell in step behind Veen looking out for any danger that might stalk them from behind.

Veen 'Mrrp'd', stoping and standing, looking around. He then bolted foreward, taking his place behind Salahari. Right now, he didn't have any motivation to challenge any other males. A rock appeared infront of him, and he leapt high in the air, sailing over it. Smiling, he continued to run.

Salahari ran across the plains, but stopped when she reached the hunting grounds. She nodded at the two males before she quickly started to dig and find food.

Nodding, Veen padded to a nearby bush, and tore into the sand. He pulled up a large beetle, and munched it happily. Digging deeper, he suddenly scraped something white. Sniffing, he stopped. Could it be? Digging further, he realized...It was! Coming out from the hole, he shook, then 'Meeped' for Salahari to come over. He went back down, pulling out a turtle egg. Dropping it infront of her, he motioned for her to taste it. Pulling out one for himself, he broke it open- yellow yolk. Lapping it up, he churred.

She padded towards Veen and she smiled at what he found. The she kat moved towards the egg and broke it also and began to lap it up. After eating hers, she smiled at him and groomed him thoughtfully in a thank you.

He churred, grooming her neck. Finding a tick, he snapped it off. "There's more," he peeped, going back into the hole. He dug them out, leaving four to hatch. "We should bring theese back for the others."

He stared at the two meerkats as they happily dug into the eggs and groomed eachother. A growl rose in his throat but then he stopped himself and went behind a rock and surpressed a few tears they splashed onto the ground and made little marks. He covered them up and tryed to make his face dry. He hoped Salahari and Veen hadn't relized what he had done. He disided to scent mark a few bushes and rocks to make his point then went off alone and dug in a few places and found a scorpion. He quickly ate it in a few bites and carried on in the opposite direction to the burrow, little did he know that he was heading straight for a cape cobra nest:

Meanwhile, Holly grommed her back. She turned, watching the pup. How she wished she could have her own....Grunting, she scratched lines in the dirt, and sighed.

(hmm i would never get a charcter killed but if Holly and Kolo fell in love they would be in trouble with Salahari as the domanant female owns strict breeding writes and may evict Holly. :'()
As Kolo walked blindly towards the snake he forgot that no one was keeping guard over him and when he looked around he suddenly saw the snake, he was going to call Salahari and Veen to help him but he loved Salahari and he didn't want her to get hert. He started spitting at the snake telling him to shove off. The snake stricked at him but he was to fast for it and he jumped back, he was about to bite its tail but it suddenly struck on his paw. He squealed and fell down but determined for the snake not to get any members of his clan he struggled on and continued to show his teeth at the snake. The snake thought more of it and left, leaving Kolo for dead. Kolo flopped down still trying to get up and show Salahari and Veen that he was strong but he couldn't, he saw a vulture in the distance. He knew it would pick off the leftovers of him. He struggled towards a bolt hole but he couldn't reach it, he suddenly felt all dizzy and passed out.

Salahari heard hissing and she bolted towards Kolo. "KOLO!" She screamed at the meerkat and lunged towards him, the vulture flew overhead, snapping at her body to try and get her off. A smack of her paw sent the scavenger flying away though. She saw the snake going away and she let loose low growling noises. It hissed at it her and charged, she did the same. It lunged, but she dodged and tackled it. It swerved around and attempted to nip at her paw but she jumped again. Her teeth sunk into what she supposed was the bottom of the snake and threw it. The she kat padded back towards Kolo and nuzzled his fur, but then she looked at his bite wound and began to suck on it, attempting to remove the venom. She then lay sprawled out on the ground, nibbling on his fur as if she was saying: Don't die, Don't die, Don't Die, Don't die!

Veen, hearing the action, came racing over. As Salahari had her back turned, the snake was slithering up to bite her, but veen darted foreward. He chomped onto it's head, and tore it off. Panting, he looked at it, then slowly padded over to them. "Kolo..." he trailed, sitting next to him. "I know how to fix it. It's gonna hurt a little. Will you let me fix you?" he churred.

"Salahari" he wheezed. He felt strength from the she-kat and he got up slowly. "i'm ok" he peeped "it was only a small bite". He gathered all his strength and limped towards the burrow. On the way there he whispered to the 2 meerkats. "thank you for coming, i thought you were happy together....without me, i shouldn't of gone off alone" he nuzzled both Veen and Salahari then carried on towards the burrow.

The she kat walked along side Kolo, trying to help me walk. She nuzzled into his fur and continued to walk. Salahari nipped him gently on the cheek and licked his ear. "Don't ever do that again."

Veen couldn't help a pang of jealousy, but shrugged it off. He sat next to Salahari, and churred. "Y-you think he'ill be okay?" Glancing around, he got up, and clambered up onto a log that rested on a mound above them.(Pic. coming soon)
Holly stretched, unaware what was happening. She shook her dirty fur, then nipped her side, finding it itchy. She yawned, laying down.(Pic coming soon)

He felt much happier when Salahari helped him walk. He felt like flying it was so nice having Salahari around and he couldn't think of anything better. He was so consentrated on admireing Salahari that he had completely forgotten about his snake bite. It hardly hert anymore and if it wasn't for Salahari's comfort he never would of survived. He stopped limping and finally got to the burrow, he churred a greeting to all the members at the burrow. He then layed next to Salahari and groomed her gently and whispered "thank you for being there for me, really appriciated." his eyes beamed as he continued to groom her.

She smiled at him, nuzzling into his fur happily. The femme groomed him back before hugging him. Salahari then backed up and touched noses with him, but then padded over to a nearby hill. The she kat plopped down on her back and lay there, sunning herself.

Veen growled. He wasn't any more important than that Kolo. He thought they had something....special. Eyes narrowing, he decided to patroll. By himself.

Holly blinked, watching the others return. Something looked wrong with Kolo. She quickly padded over, peering into the burrow. "What happened, Kolo?"

Kolo thought this day couldn't get any better but when Salahari hugged him and touched noses with him he nearly fainted. He could just be with Salahari all day and he would never be sad or angry ever again. When she headed off he thought about following her but when Holly called him he thought that Salahari might want a bit of peace for the moment. He went up to Holly and layed down beside her. "Well it all started when Veen found some eggs, and he called Salahari over then they started eating them together and grooming each other and you get the picture, i felt unbelieveably jelous so i did something stuipid and went off alone. And little did I relise that i was heading for a highly poisenious snake of which is named a Cape Cobra. I didn't want Salahari to get hert and so i bettled it by myself but it struck me on the paw" Kolo showed Holly his paw. "and then i came back here and you know what if it wasn't for Salahari i could have died but now my paw hardly herts. well i better go into the burrow now and rest my paw and gather all my strenght i lost from the bite. It was nice to see you."

Kolo looked up and relised it was getting late and he crawled into the burrow. He knew the group was going to come and sleep soon, and he would go and sleep next to Salahari when she comes but for now he would sleep in a small sleeping chamber. He soon dozed off and dreamt of him and Salahari sitting next to each other with there pups playing around them.

Veen stopped, chittering madly. He had seen the way Salahari had payed more attention to kolo! Veen turned, tearing into a small plant, leaving it broken across the sand. Should've ran him off before. Why didn't he do that? Oh. Yeah. Because Kolo didn't seem much of a threat. But look what happened! "She should like me, not that mangy excuse for a meerkat!" he snapped, quickly crawling through a thorn bush. He reached it's center, and layed down, tears of anger, fustration, and jealousy wetting his cheeks. His sides stung, all scraped up from the bush.

Kolo suddenly awoke he thought he had heard Salahari's voice and he wanted to settle down beside her but he couldn't see her anywhere in his view. He dicided to look through all of the complex tunnels of there burrow to see if she was there. 5 minutes later he had looked through all the chambers apart from one near the entrance and he thought he saw Salahari. "Salahari!" he chirped happily but when he got closer he relised it was just Vitani. "Sorry Vitani" he whispered in the little pups ear and put his body around the scared pup. "its all right" he added. "i was just looking for my love." Maybe i was just daydreaming he thought to himself feeling disapointed.

The she kat padded towards the burrow after night fell, she moved towards the entrance and climbed down. "Kolo?" She called softly, trying not to wake up other members.

Kolo heard Salahari and this time he was perfectly sure he wasn't dreaming. He ran straight out of the burrow desperate to see his love once more. He stopped when he saw Salahari "you wanted me" he chirped cheerfully and sat down beside her with his pelt touching hers lovingly.

'Fine. Let him have his little girlfriend.' Veen growled to himself, eyes burning. He didn't care anymore. Let them be mates. This was the third time. A deep hatred built up inside him, and he slowly tore through the thorns and casually entered the clearing. 'Why would she pick him instead of me? He just...Stole her right away from me! Like that!' He lifted his tail, angrily slashing a deep gash in the sand. Then he calmed, 'Wait...He hasn't really connected with her yet...' Now, hope built up inside him. Maybe she'd choose him! Chittering in exitement, he stood, looking out over the horizon. Dusk was setting. This day went fast.

Salahari smiled, snuggling up with him and groomed his fur. Her ears perked and she slowly crawled away, trying to keep herself quiet. "Veen? Where were you?" She stared at him curiously, her tail moving side to side slowly.

A blush crossed over her furry cheeks ad she smiled, nuzzling him back. "Thanks, Veen." The she kat flashed him one of her grins and padded towards the entrance on the burrow. "Come on! Its getting late and I think a storm is brewing." Salahari looked up at the cloudy sky and waited.

Kolo surpressed a low growl, Veen couldn't take his girl. He was intent on attacking him but how would that impress Salahari? He stopped himself and padded up to Salahari while scent marking the burrow entrance at the same time then he nudged Veen off her. He touched noses with Salahari and churred "its getting late want to come down into the burrow and sleep together?" He desperatly hoped that she would say yes and Veen wouldn't get in the way. He couldn't spend another minute without her.

Veen, jaw nearly dropping, stared at Kolo. 'Oh, heck no!' he roared inwardly, slowly rising, fur standing on end. "Well, Kolo. It's nice for you to invite her with you, but I already have." He said, almost simply. "Salahari, I was just about to ask you if you wanted to stay out a second longer and watch the sunset with me?" He churred, hip-slamming Kolo out of the way, enough force to knock him over- So Veen thought, anyways. He groomed her ear softly, snipping off a flea. "Wow. That one was bloody," he commented, grooming below her neck- rather gently, not to mention romanticly. He chuckled, "Seems I got most of the vermin off you." Now that was directed at Kolo, to rub in he had been grooming her.
Holly, not knowing what was going on, padded up. "Hi, Kolo." she murmured, staring at him. She had managed to develop a liking for him, but doubted he liked her...Or did he? "Um...I-I just came up to say hi. I'll be in the burrow..." she trailed, staring at Veen and Salahari. Now, she was emberassed. Darting back into the den, she found an isolated chamber far away from anyone, and curled up in a tight ball.

Salahari backed up slowly, confusion painted all over her features. 'Whats wrong? Why is there so much fighting?' "I'd love too." She smiled and glanced towards Holly and Kolo, a strange feeling washed over her and she growled quietly, shocking herself. 'Hes mine.' The meerkat frowned softly and shook her head, turning back to Veen. 'Getting protective all ready?' a taunting voice said in the back of her mind. 'Shut up.' was the she kat's reply.

'No no no no no why must Veen ruin my love for that meerkat!' he thought angry and emotionaly. "two can play at this game" he snarled at Veen and lunged at him head on but at that same moment a Jackel leaped out of the long grass just behind Salahari "No, Salahari!" he cried as he was leaping towards her as fast as he could. The Jackel was just about to grab her but Kolo nudged Salahari out if the way and he scratched the Jackels face at full speed. The Jackel couldn't believe his eyes and tryed to run away but Kolo nipped at its heals "don't you mess with my girl again!" he screeched. But suddenly the Jackel turned and hypocritically headed towards Salahari with his mouth out wide. Kolo bolted after the Jackel. As the Jackel bent down to grab Salahari, he had no choice but to jump in front of Salahari and the Jackel grabed him insted. As the Jackel shaked him wildly he said to Salahari "i always loved you Salahari but now you and Veen can live happily together as a domanant pair." As the Jackel dispeared into the long grass the desert went silent.

Veen stared in shock, blinking. No one survived a jackal. "..." He opened his maw to speak, but couldn't. "So...That's why he wanted her? To become a dominant?' Nearly snorting, he stood, waiting for Salahari's reaction to this. Would she blame him? Churring in worry, he stood tall, sending out loud, quick warning calls. The last meerkats scurried into the burrow. "S-salahari?"

Salahari watched them, her eyes wide. "Kolo..." She stared at the ground, but her sadness was soon turning into anger. 'I could try and save him!' The meerkat looked up, lunging into the desert grass and charging after the jackal in stupidity. She ran as fast as she could, attempting to pick up the jackal and Kolo's smell.

Kolo suddenly blinked and his eyes opened. Was he still alive or was he in heaven? He looked around and he was stunned, he could see the ground and when he looked up there was the Jackal. He tried to struggle out but his sides stung from the Jackal's sharp teeth. He wondered if Salahari would be mad at him for giving his life to her and she may come and save him but he didn't want that all he wanted was for Salahari to be happy. Just thinking about her made his eyes water with grief. "Salahari you were so lovley, I didn't care if you didn't make me domanant male i just wanted to be with you" he whispered but he knew he would never see her again. Suddenly the Jackal stopped and Kolo heard a loud roar, he whimpered and closed his eyes. The Jackal quickly dropped Kolo and ran for his life, Kolo layed there stunned for a moment but when he opened his eyes he saw massive teeth and a great big mane. He knew this animal was a lion and would happily eat him. He tried to get away but his sides stung like he had just been bitten by a snake 15 times, he had no choice but to stay where he was and face the lion head on. Suddenly he heard a voice "Nigel what are you doing" the voice said. "I have found this really juicy meerkat for desert mum" the big lion with the mane called. The voice spoke again "you know we lions don't eat them scrawny little things and rememer what happened last time!" The big lion growled and said "fine" The lion took one last look at me then left. Kolo curled up confused and frightened, where was he? He groaned as it started raining, the rain stung his sides but he carefully got up and wandered towards the nearest bolt hole and went down. Once more he thought about Salahari and he started weeping. He desperatly wished she was here curled up with him and giving him comfort. He saw blood on the sand bringing him back to the real world and relised his sides had started bleeding, he knew he wouldn't survive the night alone while losing this much blood.

Salahari continued to run, tears falling from her eyes as she did so. "Kolo!" She called desperately, hoping he was alive. She soon picked up their scent and she ran even faster, making her wheeze from lack of air. "KOLO!" She shouted again, but louder. All she could smell was lions, a jackal, and Kolo. She padded around, following his very faint scent. The meerkat walked cautiously over to a bolt hole, where she thought his scent was most. Fur entered her view and she immediately lunged towards the other meerkat, snuggling to his fur and grooming his back.

Kolo squealed as he felt something snuggle into him at first he thought it was the lion comeing back to eat him but then he scented a familer scent 'no i can't be' he thought and when he turned around it was! "Salahari" he churred feeling so relieved and even though in a weakened state he groomed her head and put his paw around her. "thank god your here" he cried "i thought i was going to lose you to the Jackal but then i gave my life to you and i thought i would never see you again!" he wept with relief and snuggled into her fur even more. "I-I love you Salahari"

Veen had been following Salahari, and even though he hated Kolo, desperately searched for him. Kolo, though a she-kat stealer(To Veen) was still a brother.(Mob wise). "Salahari, do you think...?" Suddenly, he seen a bolt hole barely visible in the dense grass. She must have seen it, too. Lunging after her, he suddenly heard "I-I love you, Salahari." Suddenly, rage overtook him. Managing to keep it under controll, he crouched around the corner, claws deeply gashing into the ground. He awaited her reply. Then, the memory came to him.
Salahari accepted him into the group. He and Kolo went with her to forage. He had begun to like her, and offered her eggs- A super rare find. Then, Kolo butted in with the snake- and Salahari payed him alot of attention. Grinding his teeth, he waited for her reply. If she said she loved him too, he would leave. If she said otherwise, he would stay- and leave Kolo alone.

Veen growled to himself. They were in there, snuggling, grooming, and who knew what else. He slashed the little dirt mound he had made, sending a spray of reddish sand across the ground. He stalked off, assuming what she would say when he was away. Of course she loved Kolo. How stupid could he be to believe she even batted an eye for himself? He stood, looking up into the sky. It was almost dusk. He watched half-heartedly as the last sliver of the sun dissapeared over a hill. The sun him and Salahari were supposed to be watching together. This was the third time. 'Why do I even bother when this is what happens every single time?' He snarled to himself, pushing deeper into the grass. Might as well head for the stupid burrow. 'I may as well leave tomorrow instead of watching that little suck-up touch all over my lady.' he growled, eyes flaring in anger. He would. He defidently would leave tomorrow. Angrily trotting into the burrow, he found an empty, cold chamber and curled up into a ball, thinking bitterly of how he'd stalk off into the grass. In front of Kolo and Salahari.
Holly woke, yawning. She scratched her side, then, feeling tired, layed down again and soon fell into sleep.

As Kolo cuddled Salahari he felt sleepy and soon fell asleep snoring softly. He suddenly woke up(in his dream world) and he looked around and all he saw was endless sand and then he saw fur. He ran over to the fur and it was Veen "Veen!?" he called carefully. The meerkat suddenly turned and lashed at him pinning him to the ground "Veen, what are you doing?" he cried but the meerkat looked away and walked off he looked back his face all scrunched up in a snarl. "I will never come back to your clan ever again!!" he growled and ran. "No Veen wait!" Kolo called but suddenly everything went blurry and he was back curled up with Salahari. He knew he had a mission to do 'as soon as its morning i am going to have a talk with Veen to stop him from leaving' he thought. 2 hours went by and Kolo couldn't sleep from his terrible dream.

Munro stretched within the main burrow, before crawling through the tunnels to the surface, passing Holly as he passed by. He had fallen sleep further in, and was unaware of all that had gone on during teh day. But he soon grew aware that Salahari hadn't been at the den for a while. She should have been back by now, it was growing late, and it would grow cold, and predators were more active during the cool nights, when they couldn't be spotted by their prey and wouldn't overheat in teh days sun. He stood guard, in case he could see her and the others in the distance somewhere. He ducked as a bird flew overhead but scolded himself for being so jumping when he realised it was harmless. Where were they? Should he go look for them? He considered it for a while before deciding against it. After all, there were three of them out there, and just him, a pup and holly here. If he left then those at teh main burrows would be in danger. He would just havce to wait.

Kolo knew they had to get back to the main burrow because if a enemy attacked any of the burrows they would have no chance. But he couldn't go back to Veen? He knew he would be angry at him but he really didn't want him to attack him. He would have no chance. "Salahari" he peeped "Do you want to back to the burrow, the other meerkats may be worried" He looked outside as he said it.

Veen stirred as Munro passed him by. He blinked, wondering if the two meerkats- No, probably two leaders- were back. His fur tingled. Kolo just snatched Salahari right away from him. Why couldn't Kolo go find his own she-kat to love? But NoOh. He just had to mess with Veen. Growling irratibly, Veen hurried up and out of the burrow. Forget about it. 'I'll just have to live with the fact that he did that.' He thought bitterly, and burst out of the entrance. He seen Munro, looking as if he was choosing beetween doing two things. Night swallowed him up, and he looked up to see the white stars glistening overhead. They weren't back yet. Lip curling, he imagined Kolo having his dirty little paws all over Salahari, His stupid little teeth and tounge all over her face. He was so clingy- Veen couldn't imagine how Salahari even liked him. A deep growl stuck in his throat as he returned to his isolated chamber.
Holly slept well, dreaming of pups surrounding her. She smiled.

Salahari nodded at him, she slowly crawled up and looked around. "Its really dark. I think we should stay here until morning." Red eyes gleamed at her and she sqeauled, quickly jumping back inside. "I saw something staring at me." The she kat gulped, kicking up slight dirt at the entrance so nothing could get in.

"Its ok Salahari I won't let anything will hurt you" he churred happily and snuggled into her fur then started grooming under neck slowly feeling sleepy and finally fell asleep dreaming of her.

Salahari yawned, she snuggled blindly into her source of warmth and smiled. Her eyes slowly opened and she groaned slightly as the morning sunlight beamed inside the hole in the den. She rose from Kolo and soon moved to look outside.

Kolo felt Salahari move and when he opened his eyes he was blinded too but his eyes soon got used to the light. He stretched while yawning then went outside and sat next to Salahari warming his belly in the sun. "Good morning" he churred "Did you have a nice sleep?"

Morning crept over the desert, sending song birds singing. Veen woke, blinking his weary eyes open. Slowly stretching then yawning, he exited the burrow, and shook the grit from his fur. Sighing, he looked around. Still no sign of the two 'Leaders.' So far he was having a good morning, but now it was ruined. Once again. Growling, he padded off to hunt, unaware he was a mere 23 feet away from the bolthole containing Kolo and Salahari. He dug into the damp sand, finding a large beetle. Munching it happily, he looked up. A huge bird was gliding among the morning thermals- Veen barked loudly, then realized it was only a vulture. Harmless. Sighing, he dug for more hoping he didn't attract too much attention to himself.

Kolo suddenly scented a familer smell and he looked around. He swore it was a member of his clan but what would they be doing here? He cautiously followed the scent then he saw a meerkat "Hello?!! he called. When the meerkat looked up he gasped and whimpered. It was Veen.

Salahari dug at the ground, trying to find them something to eat. She grabbed up a small grub and placed it on the desert ground, and then she continued look for food. "Yum! Eggs!" She grinned happily and rolled the three of them out. The she kat glanced around. "Kolo?"

He stared at Veen for a while longer then smirked and ran back to Salahari "Wow Salahari great find!" he called on the way there. Then he hugged her lovingly and curled his tail around her as to say Thank You.

Veen, looking up, glared at Kolo. He had a deep desire to sink his fangs into his throat, but held back. "Where's Salahari!? Don't tell me you abandoned her already!" Fur standing on end, it took all his might to not lunge at Kolo and kill him now. Or atleast run him off. "Where is she?" he snapped, taking a step foreward. "You know what you did to me? I was in love with her first! And you just butted right in and stole her away from me! You know that!? Huh!?" He spat, anger sparking in his eyes. It was as if a tiny hair was holding a cynder block in the air- that cinder block was him lunging at Kolo. "I hope your happy of what you done...This is the third time another male has stolen love from me...Why couldn't you find your own love? Huh!?" Veen bared his teeth, taking another step foreward. "ANSWER ME!" He roared, rearing up, then slamming his paws down on the sand nearly a foot away from Kolo, hissing.

"V-Veen" This was not the Veen he knew. "I didn't abandon Salahari!" He growled. "I was makeing sure there was no danger to hurt her!" He growled angrily. He was very hurt by what Veen had said and he looked at the floor. "i'm sorry about whatever I did but I love her too!" he said. His face was expressionless. "But I guess at the end of the day Salahari disides who becomes her mate." he whispered just loud enough for Veen to hear it. Tears where welling up in his eyes as he thought about what Veen had said but he stopped them and when Salahari called him her turned back and ran towards Salahari hoping he would get some comfort from her.

Salahari padded towards the sources of sound. She watched Veen curiously as he yelled at Kolo. When Kolo walked off she moved forward and sniffed him. "Whats wrong? why are you angry? Why is Kolo crying?" She churred softly at Veen, attempting to calm him by grooming his shoulder.

Veen barely noticed Salahari was there. He breathed furiously, triumphantly watching as Kolo ran away. His fur lay flat again, and his breathing went back to normal. He then noticed Salahari. He ran his tounge up the side of her cheek, tasting Kolo all over her. Just as he expected. Disgusting. "We had a little talk." he said, grooming every last scent of Kolo off of her. "He'ill be back...Salahari." He backed away from her. "I'm leaving this afternoon. I can't stand.." He trailed, clearing his throat. "I was just curious if we could spend the day together. I was going to leave right now, but... I'll stay if you and Kolo agree to meet up here at sundown." He sighed, knowing it all was pointless. She cared about Kolo more than himself. "But, if not, i'll leave." Churring, he sat, touching noses with her then hugging her, grooming her neck. He loved her dearly, and couldn't stand the fact that Kolo might have her.

She smiled and nodded. "Sure! I'd love too!" The she kat grinned, grooming Veen back. "So what do you wanna do first?"

He sighed, nosing at a flea on her chest. "Shall we forage? We might as well go back and get Holly, Munro, and the pup." he said, standing. He lifted his tail, smiling as he nipped the flea off of her pelt. "Did I ever tell you your beautiful?" He asked, touching noses with her.

She smiled at his comment and licked at his ear. "Why thank you!" Salahari moved closer and nibbled on his ear as they walked. "I thought we were gonna spend the day together, Why not explore?" She grinend at him and nuzzled his cheek. "You're not so bad looking yourself."

He smiled. "Well, I was just thinking about the Mob. I suppose they'll be fine without us for a moment." He stood tall, dark eyes scanning the horizon. "Salahari, I wanted to show you something." He picked up speed, gliding across the desert, leaping over logs, rocks, sticks, and small shrubs. He kept looking over his shoulder to make sure she was keeping up.

She sped after him, leaping gracefully over the logs, rocks, sticks and small shrubs too. Salahari laughed slightly as she caught up and made herself run next to him at the same pace. "Where are we going?"

Veen smiled, lapping up the water as well. "Yep, your defidently one of the finest she-kats I ever layed eyes on." He flirted, sitting. "Just beautiful." He smiled, itching his side. "I..Guess I like you." He shyly confessed, closed his eyes, imaginging himself standing, touching noses with her, and saying, 'I love you so, so very much.' Snapping out of his daydream, he looked at her, then back to the water. Watching the sunset's reflection off of the water, his heart dropped. The day went by so fast..."S-Salahari...I guess we need to head back. I need you to go find Kolo...And meet me back by where we were." He said, affectionatley grooming her ears. Did she even feel this way about him? He got up, tearing his eyes away from her face. 'This is pointless...' Veen sadly thought, imagining him and Kolo standing side by side, Salahari leaping into Kolo, pushing Veen aside, saying 'I love you, Kolo! I do accept being your mate!' Then smiling, and licking Kolo's face. Heart a bundle of aching hurt, he leapt off of the water trough, and turned, waiting for her. The big moment was soon to happen. He would ask her who she chose as her mate.

Holly rose, knowing now she defidently had a crush on Kolo. That he-kat was so darn handsome and sweet...But Salahari appeared to already be mates with him, or something close to that. Her fur burned with jealousy, and she whimpered sadly.

Runt stumbled into a small clearing, coughing. His small, runty body couldn't take much more. He was starving, and basically looked like paper on bones. Whimpering, he collapsed, wishing an owl would come and eat him. Even worse, dusk was beginning to creep over the desert.
~Torrent~
Torrent churred, standing tall. Yep. Defidently a den around here. He stalked around, searching for it.
~Dew~
Ever so gracefully, Dew hopped around, on the same mission as Torrent- Find the den. She smiled, sniffing a flower, then sweetly continued to look for the den.

Salahari smiled, her tail flicking back and forth at his compliments. "Thank you." Her smile quickly turned into a frown when she noticed him acting strange. 'Whats wrong?" She moved forward, attempting to hug him.

As Kolo kept running he knew that Salahari and Veen are proberly hugging, grooming and who knows what else(x3). He wanted to go run back to Salahari and hug her to the end of time but he knew he couldn't go back and face Veen. He felt so hurt by what Veen had said and h-some little noises made Kolo come back from his thoughts. He stood up curiously looking around but he couldn't see anything. Suddenly a little ball of fluff came into his view and he edged towards it and he gasped as he got closer. It Was A Pup! He wondered what this little pup was doing by itself but his instincts told him to leave this pup alone as it might be a rival groups baby. But his heart told him to take this pup home and care for it. As the pup coughed he had to go with his heart and he curled around the pup sharing heat and then he carefully grabbed the pup by the scruff and carried him back to the burrow hoping to find Salahari there.

Sophie was tired of being on her own after her mother evicted her two months ago and the dry winter months where food gets scarce are coming up so she wanted to start or join a new clan. She snuck through the grass and scented a group, she headed in the direction of the babysitting burrow.

As Kolo arrived at the burrow he frowned as he saw Salahari and Veen wasn't here. He didn't dare wonder what they were doing. Holly was at the burrow so he disided to talk to her to get her mind off Salahari and Veen. "Good morning Holly" he churred unaware that she liked him. "I found this pup on my way from-urrm well i was heading back here and I don't know what to do with it. Could you look after it while I try and find Salahari please."(He didn't want to tell her about how Veen was horrible to him") he asked nervously as he wanted to get out and find Salahari and fast.

Veen, looking out the ground, grabbed her in a hug. He really didn't want this moment to come, but it would. "W-we better head back..." He muttered, letting go of her then leaping off of the Water Trough.

Unconsious, Runt was carried into a burrow.

Eyeing the group, Torrent blinked. Taking a deep breath, he stepped out of the brush boldly, churring.

Sitting quietly, Dew decided the break was over. Time to hunt down that Mob. Sneezing, she padded on, intenly keeping her nose sharp for any sign of a mob.

Salahari smiled and nodded, she nuzzled his cheek and nibbled softly on his ear. "Lets go." The she kat burst into the bushes, slowing down every second to check if he was coming.

Sadly running after Salahari, his heart ached. Finally, they arrived in the clearing. "...Um..Okay, I guess you should go get Kolo now." He reluctantly churred.

Kolo knew he had to find Salahari and fast. He rushed outside the burrow and tried to find Salahari's scent and he soon?did but his heart sank as he smelt Veen too. He franticly bolted along the scent trail. He couldn't stand another minute without her gorgeousness around.

Munro scurried from out of the den, after once again falling asleep. Still no sign of Salahari! What if she had been injured, or worse, eaten? He stood up, watching intently on what was going on. Even if Salahari wasn't there he wasn't going to abandon his duty of protecting the den... No matter how hungry he was getting. He would hunt later, and wait for signs of Salahari or a potyential threat to teh pup that was hidden in the den.

Salahari stood up, moving so she was at the desert floor and not on the hill. "I'm gonna go back to the den." She yawned slowly before running off towards camp. But she did stop and grab those eggs from earlier incase the rest of the clan was hungry.

Veen was running along the other side of her, smiling, unaware of Kolo. As they entered the clearing, Veen's fur rose at the sight of a strange male standing near the burrow entrance, looking around. Approaching him, he growled, "State your business here." Signaling for Salahari to come beside him, he locked eyes with the male.
Holly shifted, sighing.
Runt coughed, still asleep.
Torrent secretly glared at Veen, thinking him a leader. He crouched, churring.
Dew sighed, still no sign of the mob anywhere. Padding alone, she suddenly found a bolt hole. Smiling, she padded down it, curling up.

Salahari didn't hear his question and went alongside Veen. She growled softly at the male and made small churring noises. "Thank you Veen." The she kat murmured gratefully. "Hello stranger, I'm the leader, Salahari. Now what are you doing here?"

Veen nodded, attention turning back to the male.
Torrent blinked. "I'd like to join your mob..." He churred, looking at Salahari.

Salahari nodded at him, indicating he could join. The she kat turned away, dropping leftover food at the other meerkat's feet. She then went to a nearby rock and began to sun herself.

"Salahari, I said I was leaving because...I couldn't stand the fact that Kolo gets to have you all to himself while i'm forced to watch you and him be together. So..I need to know now. Who do you choose to stay with? Me or him?" Sadly, he held his breath, awaiting her answer.

Salahari stared quietly, at a loss for words. She churred quietly, staring at the ground. 'Who to choose?' One part of her mind screamed: KOLO! KOLO! while her other, VEEN! VEEN! She looked at Veen, but looked back at the floor. 'Kolo is so sweet, so caring.' The part of her mind that screamed Veen murmured something: but annoying. Salahari growled silently and sat back. 'Veen is so cute, caring, and protective.' Salahari moved away akwardly, tripping and falling off the rock with a small yelp. "Ow.."

Kolo didn't want to overhear. "No" he whispered silently he dreaded this day would come and it did. He hopelessly counted all the things why Salahari should pick him and then he counted all the things why Salahari should pick Veen. He whimpered. Veen Had MORE things! 'No' he said in his head. Being without Salahari was like being without a burrow-he just couldn't live without her. Kolo sighed she would never pick him. As Salahari fell of a rock he moved slowly towards her. "Are you ok" he asked and nuzzled her cheek. He wondered if this was the last time he would spend with Salahari.

Veen looked down as she got up; He hurriedly clambered down the rock, nosing her up, not paying the least attention to Salahari's-soon-to-be-mate(Kolo xD). "Salahari, did you hurt yourself?" He asked, sniffing her all over. She didn't seem to have. He weakly smiled at her, nuzzling her nose.

Salahari nodded quietly, backing up again. She churred softly and shook her head, then bolted off into the desert grass. The she kat rolled in most shrubs she passed, so her scent would be lost. Salahari continued to run, trying to get to a place where she usually went to rest. After stopping at the oasis, she smiled and jumped onto the rock in the middle of the pond. "Who do I choose?" She murmured sadly, staring at the water. The figure of Veen came into the water and she smiled, but it was soon replaced by Kolo. "This is frustrating." She frowned, slapping the water in anger.

Kolo watched Salahari dispear into the grass. He looked at the ground. Maybe I should just give up and let Veen have her that would make her happy. He would do anything to make her happy but then.....Kolo flopped down feeling terrible. A vision of his old clan came into his mind. He remembered when the Domanant Female has choose him to be Domanant Male but he didn't truely love her. He refused and he got kicked out the clan, all alone to face the dangers of the Kalahari. He remembered being nearly picked off by a hawk and then he got welcomed into Salahari's clan......Kolo lay their confused, frightened and upset.

Veen desperately wanted to follow, but sat back. She needed time. But, he needed to know. Veen considered leaving- She'd obviously pick Kolo. Yet, something held him back- he decided to await her return.

Veen trembled in anxiety. Was Salahari okay? Should he go make sure? No...She needed time alone. They all did. Heaving a huge sigh, he scrambled up onto a high log, watching for her beautiful pelt to appear. He'd stay all night if he had to.

Smoothly sliding up onto the log then to the hansome one, Veen, she smiled. "Why, hello there..."

(Idea: Since most mates get stolen from you, how about Salahari picked Veen here, and then Kolo falls in love with one of your characters, and then Kolo, Veen, Stark, Torrent have a chance on the other roleplay?))

Veen's lip curled, his face turning away from her. He was in love with Salahari, not this she-kat. He leapt down, getting away from her. Yet, she followed. "Where are you going, good-looking?" She asked, slipping under his belly, and then under his chin. Veen growled, stepping off of her. "I'm looking for someone special." She smirked. "Well, aren't I much prettier than her?" Veen glared at Talia. "...No." She chuckled, licking his cheek. He pulled away from her, standing tall, looking for his lover.

Salahari watched them, her eyes slowly narrowed at the female. She made soft growling noises and stood up, baring her teeth in anger. "How dare that fleabitten, ugly-" The she kat growled louder, and began leaping in a war dance towards them. When she reached them, she didn't care that Veen was right there, She lunged at Talia. "You stupid, UGLY! Meerkat!" All her anger and frustration would be unfortunately unleashed onto the she kat named, Talia. Her teeth were bared, claws outstretched and she was intent on biting her shoulder.

Veen leaped out of the way just in time, eyes wide at the fight.
Talia lunged foreward, dashing under Salahari, then behind her. "Oh? I didn't know you had anything to do with this handsome male..." Dashing over to him, she hid behind him, grooming his shoulder. "He's quite a catch, no?"

She growled angrily at Talia, her slim figure stalking slightly around them in a circle. "I didn't know someone like You had the capabilities of even dodging." Salahari snarled quietly and lunged again, using her speed and agility to get as close as possible before Talia had time to dodge. Once again she was intent on pinning the she kat, then biting and clawing at whatever she could reach.

Veen snarled at the she-kat, nipping her muzzle. Talia snickered, ''Fiesty..." She was suddenly knocked over, and was being pummeled by Salahari. She screamed in rage, trying to get bites, kicks, and scratches in the chaos. Veen gasped, watching them fight. He threw himself inbeetween them pinning Talia whilst nuzzling Salahari, trying to calm her down.

Salahari growled, her eyes will full of rage. She jumped at Veen, clawing and biting at whatever she thought was Talia. She looked up at the male kat, the went to ram him off of Talia. If she succeeded, she will immediately replace Veen and start going back into her fury of: Biting, clawing, kicking, hitting ANYTHING she could get.

Kolo stared eyes wide at Salahari, Veen and this new she-kat. Kolo knew he shouldn't get involved but Salahari might get hurt. Shall I help her? He thought. OF COURSE YOU SHOULD! screamed a voice in Kolo's heart. Kolo couldn't ignore it and he war danced towards the new female lunging at her. Using spit-calls he opened his mouth as wide as he could showing his big sharp teeth and crunched down on her tail nearly ripping it off. Then he tryed to bite her throat but couldn't reach, he tussled with the meerkat pinning her down.

Veen, barely affected, growled. He tried again to break them apart, but accidentally slammed heads with Kolo. Not caring, he wraped his arms around Salahari, holding tight.
Before Veen interrupted, Talia screamed in shock as someone was nearly tearing her tail off. She tore it free, then slapped it against whoever's face (WIP be back later :c)

Salahari squirmed, hissing and clawing at the air. "Veen, let me go!" She made spitting noises at the she kat, her tail flicking. "Talia, I never want to see you again." She growled at the other she kat and nodded at Kolo thoughtfully. She panted, slowly calming down and nuzzling into Veen. "Thank you, too."

Kolo smiled and feeling confidance from Salahari he once again war danced towards Talia nipping at whatever he could and chased her and chased her until she was out of the terrotry. "And don't come back" he snarled and padded back to the others unharmed and eyes beaming.

Veen nuzzled her back, panting- Jeeze, she-kats were furious when in fights!
Talia snarled, bounding away from Kolo. She sank her teeth into his cheek as a 'Goodbye' before running off. She'd be back.

Holly was shocked as her crush winked at her. She silently giggled, then dashed into the burrow, emberassed.
Veen was still holding Salahari, and still panting.
Torrent was high on a bush, keeping an eye out for danger.
Runt sighed, curling up into an even tighter ball.
Dew finally found the group. She slunk closer, taking a deep breath. Timidly entering the clearing, she peeped for assistance.
Talia snarled to herself, licking her wounds. She felt a little better- Nothing was broken. She was bleeding a little bit, but that would heal. Oh, yes, she'd be back for Veen.

Kolo scolded Veen as he walked off with Salahari but he shurgged the jelousy off and went back to the burrow. His cheek was starting to bleed and he wanted a rest.

(Ok, I keep getting left behind so I'm just throwing Munro in at random XD)
Munro moved around the burrow, noticing the slight smell of blood in the air. Munro had been dense enough not to notice the fight that had happened earlier, so he was unaware of what had happened whatsoever. He followed the scent to find kolo going back towards the den from wherever he had been. He walked over to him, concerned. He had no interest in Salahari, so he didn't see the male as a threat.
"Are you ok? What happened to you?"

"A female dicided to challenge Salahari" he sighed. "Wow she was fiesty so i chased her off before anyone got hurt but she kinda bit me on the cheek when i had chased her over the border." Kolo walked with Munro back to the burrow and he saw Holly. "Hello Holly Are the pups ok?" he peeped and then sat down.

Salahari churred quietly, although her heart was killing her, She knew she had to tell him. "About the mates thing..."
The she kat glanced up sadly, her tail flicking. "I choose..." Salahari attempted to force out his name, but the guilt was wearing at her heart. "K-Kolo.." The meerkat quickly moved forward to nuzzle him on his cheek before backing up and sitting down. "I-I'm really sorry Veen.." She stared at the sandy ground in sorrow, before moving and padding slowly back towards camp, her tail drooping. "Bye, Love."

Veen jerked away from her before she could nuzzle him. "Y-you..." His lips slowly curled into a snarl, yet no sound came from him. "I...Loved you..." he whispered, slowly rising. Hissing, Veen dashed a different way home. He got there first- and seen Kolo sitting by the burrow entrance, peeping something. He slowly padded up to him, paused, then his eyes flashed. Veen lunged at Kolo, aiming for a body-slam.

Kolo was caught by suprise and was knocked off his feet. He squealed with fright as he wondered if Talia had come back to kill him. But then he saw Veen. "Veen" he cried in shock. "What are you doing!" Then the thought crossed him. 'No' he thought. 'Salahari picked Veen didn't she!' Kolo stared in shock at Veen waiting for an answer and hoping for the best.

Veen snarled, standing over Kolo. "You stole her away from me...I'll always hate you....Always...." Snarling, he went for a sharp nip in the neck.

Kolo was left confused and frightened. "What do you mean?!" he growled as Veen attempted to bite him and he struggled free panting at the edge of the burrow ready to bolt in.

Salahari walked back to the borrow, feeling guilty. The sounds of fighting and talking made her panic. "Whats going on? Is Talia back?" She bolted towards the den, but stopped in her place when she saw the fight. "NO!" "VEEN!" She lunged towards her former crush, attempting to knock him to the ground.

Kolo growled back if Veen wanted to fight then he would happily accept the challenge! Kolo was about to grab him but then Salahari came into his view and he looked at the ground. "Sorry" he peeped.

Ihele sneaked around, scurrying under the underbrush to look for a decent meal before finding a burrow. Standing up on her hind legs she looked around, hearing squealing, peeping, and-- snarling? Curious she slowly crawled towards the sound, watching from under the growth towards the sounds... 'What is it?..' she thought watching the burrow- which the sound was coming out of.

Kolo glared at Veen and even though Salahari was right next to him he hip-slammed Veen hard and delivered him a sharp nip on the back before standing back on his hind legs trying to look as big as possible.

Veen smirked, standing tall on his own two legs. He snickered, being about an inch taller. Quickly bending over, he head-butted Kolo right in the stomach. He then latched onto his ear, tearing his head back and forth, nearly ripping it off- then harshly hip-slammed his face, almost breaking his neck.

Holly was foraging, unaware of the fight. She heard something, then glanced up seeing another she-kat flitting about. "Erm...Hi?" She chittered, staring.

Kolo squealed so loud a Jackel would think twice before eating him. HOW DARE VEEN DO THAT! Kolo let out a huge battle cry and let Veen know what he had got. Kolo rammed into Veen but his shoulder clicked and went out of place he squealed when he couldn't get it back in but he had to fight! Kolo bit Veen at the base of the tail hard so it made a large bite mark. Then Kolo tackled his legs knocking him over.

Veen screeched as he chomped his tail- yet, he managed to leap up before he could tackle his legs. He came down on his back, delivering a bite to the base of his tail(If you've seen meerkat mannor, you know this is super painfull to meerkats.) and then locked on, refusing to let go.
Holly dipped her head, sitting. "Um...I'm Holly."

Kolo squealed and leapt up 5 feet in the air, he tryed to get at Veen but everytime he tried his tail hurt even more plus his shoulder still wasn't back in place. He looked around franticlly before bolting around like a headless chicken then he ran into the burrow dragging Veen behind him. Kolo knew he couldn't keep up this fight for much longer....

Veen held tight, and as Kolo cowered into the burrow, veen let go- then latched onto his scruff. Veen shoved him deep into a dead end, then thrust him into the wall. He let go, then turned his head upside down, getting a death-hold on Kolo's windpipe. He closed eyes, applying only enough pressure to barely let Kolo breathe. Nothing would be able to pry him off- Fury powered his jaws, and he grabbed Kolo with his arms, digging his nails into his sides. He kept torturing Kolo- Cutting off his air, giving him a little bit, Cutting off his air again. He panted, yet still held on. He'd be able to do this for a week.

Salahari sqeauked in panic, racing towards the burrow and running inside. "VEEN!" She churred loudly at him, running and charging at the male. "STOP IT!" The she kat butted him with her head, attempting to get him off.

Munro was stunned at first as Veen and Kolo began to fight, watching, still. But he snapped out of it soon enough when Veen grabbed Kolo's neck. Munro didn't care if it was torture or to kill, it was wrong and he wasn't having any of it, they were part of the family after all. He charged towards Veen, mouth open. He was going to charge into him at full speed and hopefully knock him off. He wouldn't bite Veen just yet, that might cause him to bite down harder on Kolo. Out of teh corner of his eye he noticed Salahari come to teh scene, and attempt to knock him off the same way.

Veen snarled, not caring- anymore. They touched him, and he'd slice Kolo's throat open. He cut off Kolo's air for ten long seconds, then let him breathe for a little bit. He dug his nails deeper into his sides, almost puncturing through his skin.

Kolo couldn't even growl or do anything. He was really weak and he knew he was on deaths doorstep. Suddenly Kolo couldn't breath and he tryed to struggle but he couldn't move. The pain was to much.....he passed out.......

Veen didn't realize Kolo fainted- He kept hold, letting his body go limp. He defidently could keep this up for a while.
(T-T Gotta go for the weekend. If one of the other meerkats touch veen, hei'll cut Kolo's throat open, so watch out. o3o)

Kolo suddenly became consious again but he still could hardly breath. He saw his love(Salahari) and Munro standing where they were. Kolo went jelly when he saw something behind them. "Salahari, Munro!" He shouted weakly but just enough for them to hear. "S-S-S-nake....." he trailed as the puff adder entered the burrow. Useing his last drop of strenght he wriggled free of Veen and ran towards Salahari and Munro. Just as the puff adder was about to strike, Kolo(Although mortaly injured) ran full speed at the snake and bit its head hard. The puff adder didn't know what had hit him but he hissed and slithered away as fast as he could. Even though Kolo was about to die he limped into the burrow with his neck swollen and unable to breath. He licked Salahari on the cheek and churred weakly. "I will always love you........I will always need you......but please don't cry......my love for you will never die." He then collapsed dieing with his body bleeding all over.

Salahari screeched, running towards Kolo at full speed. She bolted into the burrow and pushed rather harshly past Veen. The she kat nuzzled into his neck fur, although he said not to cry, she did. "N..No.NO!" She groomed his cheek, hissing softly. "You can't die! Y-Y-You're the bravest person I know!" Salahari sobbed quietly, licking his fur. The she kat looked up, glancing at the other meerkat in the burrow. "Veen..." She hissed softly, it growing louder. "You...You..IDIOT!"

Kolo felt Salahari close to him. He Couldn't die! Not when Salahari was this upset! Kolo tryed to get up and rocked, he looked around feeling dazed then crawled deeper into the burrow. He didn't want to be bullied anymore by Veen and he didn't want Salahari to see him this way. Why would Veen do this to me? he asked himself. His sides still stung from the Jackel and now from Veen but his neck was going down. Kolo knew he needed to rest and he curled up slowly falling asleep.

Veen didn't feel anything. Fear of the snake, Anger and hate towards Kolo(Which, of course, was still a nag.)- Nor the aching love and longing for Salahari. His eyes narrowed slowly, lips curling. Veen thrust his way beetween Salahari and Kolo, shoving his face in her's. He growled loudly, "Oh, so now i'm the idiot? Just because this stupid, cowardly lowlife can't even put up a fight? Salahari, I loved you! This excuse of a scrap of fur managed to hold your attention even though he didn't even think of half of the things I did for you!" He paused, anger eating him up. "I guess your blind if you can't see that. I just want you to know he's not capable of loving you as much as I can." Snarling, he wheeled, coming close to Kolo. "I hope your happy that you made the record for the third useless brute that stole my love!" He stood tall, bringing his teeth harshly down across his eye- possibly tearing it out. "I'll always hate you!" he screamed, whipping around, then kicked dust in his face. He bounded near the entrance, then turned. "I hope you two have a happy life, now that you've BOTH ruined mine!" Distressed tears streamed down his face, wetting his burning cheeks. Stupid Kolo...Stupid everything! He tore into the night, dissapearing through the tall grass. He soon arrived at the Watering Trough, then sat hunched over it. Drowning himself came to mind.

Kolo snarled as Veen came up to him and he overheard what he said. "Just because I can't fight you dosn't mean i'm a bad mate, I Love Salahari Just As much as YOU!" he growled. He got up and was going to follow Veen outside but then a voice spoke in his head. 'You just didn't want to hurt Veen did you, you could of beaten him but you were only defending yourself and you didn't want a fight' Kolo shook his head but the voice kept repeating it. "It's true!" he wailed outloud suddenly and jumped at his own words. "I actually liked Veen" he said more quietly. "I didn't want to hurt him but....." he trailed. He could go after Veen and appologise but was was he appologising for? Maybe he would stay in the gang then? Maybe I should give up and Veen could have Salahari? 'But that would hurt me so much' he thought desperatly. 'I know how Veen feels but...' Kolo shook his head, harder this time and went outside to Salahari. "Hello" he churred. His neck had gone down but he still wasn't over the trauma of the fight plus his cuts from the Jackel had been opened again thanks to Veen. But he wanted to be with Salahari especially at this frightening time. He cuddled up to Salahari whilst churring trying to forget all his problems.

Ihele saw a figure bounding off, curious- she decided to follow it-- once behind it she slowed down-- it was another meerkat! She better watch what she does now, sighing she followed but hid in the grass watching it by a--- water trough?

Salahari watched him leave sadly, guilt overcame her heart and she whimpered softly. The she kat snuggled closer to Kolo, grooming his cheek. She smiled at him, pushing her muzzle towards his as if in a kiss. "I love you, Kolo." She murmured, laying her head on his paws.

Little salty tears rippled into the watering trough. Stars glittered overhead, and a cool desert wind washed across the sand. The clearing was eerily quiet, exept for the occasional sniffle and whimper. The wind rustled the trees, causing them to make a soft, whooshing noise. The full moon painfully reflected off of the still water and into his eyes. Veen shivered, wrapping around himself, paws holding his throbbing head. The words echoed in his head. '...You...you...IDIOT!'....'I love you, Salahari!'....'I hope you have a happy life now that you BOTH ruined mine!' He imagined the scene again. And again. And again. Then, came to a conclusion. He would never love again. Ever. He would only have room for a growing anger and hate. That night, Veen made a promise- A secret, defident promise. One way or another, it would happen.

Kolo smiled all that mattered now was being with Salahari and he couldn't care less about his fatel wounds. It was getting late and he churred. "I love you too Salahari, in fact I love you more than anything" he nuzzled into her fur and whipered. "It's getting late I think i'm going to stay go into the burrow now for the night" He affectionatly groomed her then padded into the burrow. He thought about Veen for a second but then sleep took over and he dozed into a warm and happy sleep.

Holly and the other she kat (Sorry forgot her name) But on the other side, some more males are trying to woo Salahari, Will the young couple stick together? Or will they be torn apart?

Kolo blinked at the light coming in through the burrow. 'It must be morning' he thought. He looked around and saw Salahari curled up beside him. He smiled and snuggled up with her waiting for her to wake up.

Kolo saw that Salahari wasn't waking up and he nuzzled her before clambering outside the burrow. 'Maybe she wants a bit of peace and quiet' He stood up looking around then started sunning himself. Salahari didn't know this but he actually liked Veen even though he had tryed to kill him, he wished he had stayed in the clan. Kolo scanned the area hoping to see the lone meerkat but he saw nothing. 'I hope he's not hert' he thought desperatly. 'Maybe i should go find him? But i can't leave the pups and Salahari alone!' He looked at the burrow then at the horizen, then back again. Kolo slumped down he wanted to be friends with Veen but Veen just saw him as a threat. Maybe once Salahari woke up they could go find him....

Veen growled, having slept in an uncomfortable broken up log. Creeping out slowly, he stretched before glaring at an oversized ant crawling across a long blade of grass. Angrily murdering it, he walked away, Salahari lingering on his mind. She doesn't love me, why do I care about her? He rumbled bitterly, painfully being reminded of that imbisult, Kolo.

Kolo disided that was his only choice and he would go and find Veen. He quickly went into the burrow nudging Salahari one last time then whispered "i'll be back soon honey." Kolo sniffed hard before catching the scent of Veen, he lowered his nose to the ground and went in search of his long lost clan mate.

Veen sunned himself, soaking up the radiant sun's rays. After warming up, he scrambled up a log, then looked around. A small figure moved off in the distance. Squinting, Veen realized it was Kolo. An idea popped into his mind. He leapt off of the log, and ran off, making sure his scent was heavily left behind. He continued into the wilderness, zigzagging, turning, circling, looping, scent marking here and there. Kolo surely couldn't miss the trail. Suddenly, he tripped over something furry. Turning around, he gazed into the lifeless eyes of a dead loner meerkat. Shivering, he began to back away untill yet another idea worked it's way into his mind. Smirking, he scent-marked all over it, making it smell exactly like him. Then he dragged it up into a tiny tree, slumping it over- Making it look like Veen the decoy was sitting up, staring off into the distance. Jumping into another tree, the real Veen masked his own scent before secretly making a huge loop back to the middle of the trail. He hid in a tight bush, waiting for Kolo to pass by him. Kolo was supposed to follow his long trail to the dead meerkat, and after realizing that the meerkat was someone else, come back this way.

Kolo carried on his nose was on the ground now. He looked up and not seeing any predators he carried on then suddenly Veens scent got even stronger and he looked around. His eyes nearly popped out and he nearly fainted when he saw a dead meerkat resting on a tree. He immediatly ran up to it and smelling Veen all over it he slumped down next to it and cried. "Veen NO, this was all my fault, why did i ever challenge you, i wanted to be friends!" Kolo was almost getting hysterical when he smelled something else. He smelled the dead meerkat again and then he relized it wasn't Veen but an loner from a different clan. "Phew" he said. "For a moment there i thought it was Veen." Kolo was about to carry on walking but then he thought 'why was Veen scent on this meerkat?' Kolos heart sunk as he relized that Veen must of killed this meerkat in his angered state. Kolo knew Veen had changed and he was scared to go find him now, what if he attacked him? and killed him? But Kolo knew he had to find him so he kept going on Veens scent trail.

Veen smirked, covering up Kolo's scent trail with sand. Now, Kolo would turn around, and find that the trail abruptly ended- And last, be lost out here for a couple of days. Veen continued to cover the scent trail with dirt, and finally when he was near the Whisker mob, he stopped. No scent was left behind at all. Kolo would be lost out there for a while- More than likely days. Veen stood tall- Kolo's location was so far away, Veen couldn't even see the tree where Kolo grieved over the lone meerkat. Veen shivered in sweet revenge. He wanted to be with Salahari more than anything right now, but... How would she react to his presence? Whimpering, he realized he was stuck. Wait... Yesterday, when Salahari picked Kolo, she said 'Bye, my love.' So... Does that mean Salahari still loves me? Veen's mind churned. She had to still like him. Maybe him and her could get attatched while Kolo was lost, and then he'd have another chance! Veen stepped into the clearing, and went into the burrow, searching for Salahari. He found her, sleeping peacefully. Kolo's scent was all over her, as usual. "S- Salahari?" He asked, waiting for her to wake up.
(LOL that was a little confusing. Quick summary: Veen got Kolo lost way out in the desert. Kolo should be out there for a couple of days. Veen came back to Salahari, hoping him and her could get close untill Kolo comes back- And she could then choose who she really loves because the other site is going to be deleted and I don't think kolo and Salahari are actually mates right now- Did Kolo ask her?)

Kolo suddenly stopped, Veens scent trail had disapeared. He turned back and his heart sunk. Where was he? Where was Veen? He could have sworn Veen was here somewhere. Suddenly the thought hit him. 'SALAHARI' Veen must have tricked me. Kolo kicked the ground, How would he get back to Salahari now? It all makes scense! Veen tricked me into thinking the dead meerkat was him then he covered mine so i couldn't get back. Now he will have his dirty little hands all over Salahari! Kolo snarled. "WHY DID I EVER THINK HE COULD BE MY FRIEND!" He franticly scent marked the ground whilst cursing himself. It was always his fault! He couldn't blame Veen, well he would proberly of been in this situation if Salahari hadn't picked him. Kolo wept. "I'll never see my love again! and Veen will proberly have pups with her and....and..They would live happily ever after!" Kolo collapsed not looking out for predators, little did he know trouble was on their way.
BTW Kolo runs into a rival group and they take him in and the DF loves him but he dosn't and survives with them for 3 days before escaping and finds his way back to Salahari! AND Veen has convinced Salahari that Kolo got taken by a bird of prey so SHE has to pick him! and then when Kolo comes back she has to pick who was the best mate! SO EXITING >:D))

Salahari yawned, stretching her agile boy out. The meerkat churred quietly, shaking out her fur free of dirt and sand. Her ears perked at the sound of her name, it didn't sound like Kolo, It sounded like....She hissed turning towards Veen and hissing dangerously. "Why are you here?" She hissed, baring her teeth and lowering herself into a battle position. Her tail flicked angrily, narrowing her eyes.
(This might happen: Salahari thinks Kolo left her for someone else so she is really sad and more hard to get. Then she is still angry at Veen, but when Kolo comes back she is still angry at both of them, so they have to start from point 1. o3o))

Kolo layed there. "All that matters to me is Salahari, and now she is lost forever....there is nothing to live for" Kolo closed his eyes and chorased what his mother had said to her mate. "Love..can touch just one time........and last for...." Kolo started crying. "a lifetime..." Seeing that he had nothing to live for he wasn't even bothered when a rival meerkat came up to him and started biteing his ear. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE IN OUR TERROTRY!" The meerkat growled. One by one more and more meerkats joined there leader and surrounded Kolo. "ANSWER ME!" Kolo burst into tears as he remembered the leader of HIS group: Salahari. The rival leaders snarl faded and she said. "Come with us" Kolo got up and followed surrounded by rival meerkats. When they got to there burrow it was almost dark. The female leader told Kolo he could stay there for the night. Kolo went below ground and not feeling comftable sleeping with another group and found an abandoned chamber by himself. He started to fall asleep when the leader joined him and curled up to his side. Kolo slowly moved away but the female kept coming closer. The female said. "You know I don't have a domanant male and there is not a unrelated male in the group. But there is now.." The female edged closer but Kolo squashed himself against the wall. "No I have a mate! I mean I used to have a mate..I mean I love someone else!" Kolo struggled to get the words out as he thought of Salahari. He wondered what Veen was doing with her now. UGH he couldn't think about it. The female smiled. "I'm Hannah(lol, random thought of name) and i think you cute do you want to have pups" Kolo couldn't believe his ears. "NO I TOLD YOU I ALREADY, I LOVE SOMEONE ELSE" Kolo crawled out the chamber and into the deepest part of the burrow then fell asleep there. Little did he know Hannah soon came back and curled up with him.

Veen flinched, submissive behavior covering his body. "S-Salahari, I came to apologize..." he whimpered, glancing around nervously. "I'm sorry for what I said... And did to Kolo." Acting as if he hadn't just gotten the male lost in the middle of nowhere, he stood up slightly. "I want to tell him myself... WHere... is he?" Shaking his head, he peeped, "More importantly... C-Can you forgive me, Salahari?"
(O-OH!!! What if Kolo breeds with Hannah, then he leaves her when Hannah's old mate returns- Then Salahari would feel he left her for Hannah, but then the pups of Kolo and Hannah come back... Kinda stupid but... Again, I like meow's idea c: )

Salahari lowered her ears, glancing around the chamber. "W-W-Where's Kolo?" She asked, moving past Veen gently and looking outside. "Where is he?" She spoke, narrowing her eyes and looking around more desperately. Salahari looked at the ground, making a low, dangerous hissing sound. Her tail flicked back and forth as she narrowed her eyes to slits. "Where.." She spoke, glancing at Veen and baring her teeth. "IS KOLO?"
(She completey ignored him by the way, but Kolo would have to start from point 0 if he breeds with Hannah ._. Cus Salahari wouldn't forgive him for DAYS))

Veen peeped, rolling over. "I don't know! I came here, and only found you..!" He knew she thought that he had murdered Kolo. But... In that case, blood would be covering his maw. Salahari should know that... He thought, glancing around nervously. "S-Salahari... On my way here, I scented Kolo's scent and another female meerka-" He stopped, anger covering his face. He did, infact, scent kolo and another female on the wind. "That worthless, cheating piece of..." He growled, standing. He waited for Salahari's reaction.

Kolo woke up the sound of birds rang in his ears. As he blinked he saw something curled up next to him and he jumped back as he saw it was Hannah. "I thought i told you to go away!" he shreaked before remembering that everyone was still asleep. As Hannah opened her eyes Kolo saw fear in them. "Sorry" he whispered before going outside. No one was up yet and Kolo sat alone on the edge of the burrow area staring at the sun coming up. Kolo surpressed a tear; he could of shared this was Salahari. Hannah soon came out with the rest of her gang and a young adult about 1 year old came up to Kolo and sat next to him. "Hi i'm Tom(Another random made up name xD) and Hannah is my mother, she has been looking for a mate ever since I was born and shes getting desperate. I'm sorry" Kolo looked at Tom and said. "It's not that, its just I have a mate in my old clan well at least I did until i went looking for my friend. And because my friend loves my mate he tricked me into thinks a dead meerkat was him then covered my trail so i couldn't get back to my mate and now hes proberly got his dirty paws all over her...but i still like him...but he hates me, he even tryed to kill me once." Tom looked scared. "I'm so sorry" he said. Kolo put his paw on his head and churred. "Thanks, one day you will have all this trouble with love" Tom giggled and a glint of amusment flashed in Kolos eyes. Before Kolo could say anything else Hannah called for the foroging party. Kolo sighed and just wished he could curl up with Salahari but that proberly will never happen not now... he sighed and followed Tom to go and eat.

Kolo scanned the skys for danger as they reached there foroging spot, he didn't really feel like eating and was just thinking about Salahari all the time. He was thinking about sneaking out of this group and going in search of Salahari but then he would be vunerable of predators and he might get even lost! 'Just a few more days' he thought. He looked to his left and saw a giant Cobra! He peeped the snake alarm and everyone stopped foroging immediatly and they all spotted the snake and charged towards it; tails raised and mobbing there heads to itimidate it while spitting and growling. Kolo disided he had nothing to lose and joined in the fray.

WHAT ABOUT: Hannah leads the group into Salaharis groups terrotry then they find Salaharis burrow the next day then we start franticly digging at the entrance. KOLO is first to go into the burrow and then him, Salahari and Veen meet! Kolo then turns around and start attacking Hannahs group but then it starts raining and Hannahs group run off leaveing Kolo, Veen and Salahari alone. OHH YEAHHH >:D X3 ))

Salahari's eye widened and she hissed. Veen must be lieing, Kolo would never do that to her! She glared harshly at Veen, frowning and flicking her tail with frustration. She growled at him, trotting away and moving ontop of a small rock. Boys, Boys, Boys. She snarled grumpily, slamming her paw down on the cold rocky stone angrily. "Stupid drama! All because of two boys." She frowned, jumping off the rock angrily and started pacing back and forth, sometimes murmuring to herself. She looked at the sky, sighing. What if Veen was right? That Kolo was cheating on her? She frowned, staring at the ground with a low snort.

As the group drove the snake away, Hannah led the group in the opposite direction to there burrow. Kolo wondered what was going on, but still followed. As time went on Hannah got more and more faster and she wasn't doing much foraging! Kolo went up to her and asked her what was going on. "We need to move....AND FAST. The winter months are coming and food will become scarse and our evil neighbours will need to be shown not to come near us, we also need more land. We need to fight other groups to get what we want!" Hannah churred whilst getting louder and louder until the whole group could hear her, standing on her hind legs she continued. "We are heading out of our old terrotry because it was not safe to bring up kids! We need to attack our rivals burrow to triumph then we might survive and I might be able to bring up kids in this new place." As she said it she glanced at Kolo. Kolo looked away. Hannah stopped and went down on all fours. She set off at a running pace this time without looking back. Kolo suddenly scented something that made him stop dead in his tracks. He lifted his nose to catch the faint scent. "Veen" he murmered whilst his eyes windened. As they went down a large sand dune, he saw the tree where the dead meerkat was. He stood on his hind legs and scanned the area. He saw two meerkats! One was on a small rock and one was at the entrance to the burrow. His spirit rose as he thought it MUST be Salahari and Veen. Hannah screeched before ducking. "EVERYONE HIDE" She half whispered and half shouted. Kolo bolted into a burrow where the rest of the group had fled and was met with Hannah. "Hannah whats going on" He said. Hannah curled her tail around him. "Its getting late and we are going to attack them in the morning besides their family will be back soon." She churred. "Family?" Kolo peeped. "Yeah that evil gang is called the Zappa and thats thier babysitting burrow. We will strike tommorow as soon as the other group go out to forage." she churred. "ok.." Kolo said, his heart sunk as he relized it wasn't Salahari and Veen.
BTW the two meerkats ARE Salahari and Veen but Hannah thinks it is the Zappa ok. )))

Veen stood, only stepping back to get out of her way. His eyes narrowed as he followed her; he thought he had heard a screech earlier. A growl emitted from his throat as the scent of Kolo and another female slapped him in the face. Padding casually up to Salahari, he leapt up onto it beside her, then rumbled, "Salahari. Take a sniff at the wind. Do you not smell Kolo and..." He trailed, waiting for her response. Hopefully, she forgave Veen and wouldn't take out her rage on him.

She frowned at him, flicking her tail angrily, but obeyed. She rose her snout to the air, eyes widening when she caught Kolo's scent and another female in the wind. She hissed angrily and her eyes narrowed. "That stupid, cheating snake!" She spat, then ran towards where she had last smelled it, not knowing she was going straight towards Hannah's group. "Grrrrr!" She growled, moving faster.

Kolo knew he needed alone time so he flicked his tail to Hannah to tell her not to follow and pushed out of the bush on the opposite side to where the "Zappa" was. His tail drooped and he tucked his head on his lap. He suddenly felt ill about the idea of not seeing Salahari ever again. All his scences suddenly went weird and he couldn't smell or hear anything. He wept a few tears and he said. "I'd rather die th...than be without Salahari. But what choice do I have. I will never see her again, i might as well go look for her insted of staying here. But then she might accuse me of roving!"

Veen barked loudly, calling the mob out. He war-danced after Salahari, preparing to drive off the unwelcomed female and, more importantly, Kolo. He was now next to the lead female, chittering madly.

Salahari looked at Veen, tilting her head as she sniffed the air. A mob! She hissed, making a loud war call and jumped forward, snarling. "Get out!" She hissed, launching herself at the meerkat named Hannah.

Hannah screamed. "Zappa have spotted us! ATTACK" Hannah bit back at Salahari and she grabbed the back of Salahari's head with her paws pinning her down. Tom climbed a large bush and looked at how many meerkats their were. "Hannah" he shouted. "There is only two!"
Hannah looked up. "Just attack anyway, they could be part of the Zappa"
Tom looked doubtful but leaped out of the bush and lunged at Veen, he was joined by his 2 brothers while a male and female hopped on Salahari.
Kolo's ears pricked as he heard screaming, 'We must be under attack!' he thought. Without thinking he launched himself through the bushes and found himself next to Hannah who had her paws on a female. Kolo scented a familier scent when suddenly everything went slow motion and as he looked towards Tom he saw him fighting with Veen! "SALAHARI" He screeched not knowing whether to be exited about finally seeing her again or angry about seeing her with Veen or even her seeing him with this rival gang. Everything went normal again and he lashed his teeth at Hannah making her lose her grip on Salahari. "STOP, EVERYONE STOP!" He shouted as loudly as he could but no one could hear him over all the crys of war. Without thinking he launched himself at Salahari in a hug, "I've missed you so much!" he churred but he knew it wasn't the time for a happy reunion right now was time to get out of here! he picked Salahari up.
"Come on" he said to Salahari. "We have to get out of here before they overpower us! Run Salahari run!"
He looked around for Veen and saw him being held up against a rock by Tom he charged straight over. "Leave him alone Tom!" He spat before bitting Tom's tail. "Come on Veen run!"

Veen launched after Salahari, soon finding himself surrounded by three other males. "Hah. You gay little faggots think you can take me on, huh? Well. Let me inform you about something. I've traveled more than a thousand freaking miles to be with the she-kat I love, and now you runty little punks think you can take me on?" He watched as they shrank away. "That's right! If you don't freaking leave Salahari's territory THIS instant, I will rip out your freaking hearts and shove them down your puny throats! Do you hear me?" He snarled, lunging at one before pinning it's face down. "DO. YOU. FREAKING. HEAR. ME!?!" Angry, he ripped it's eye out before tearing out the throat of another. One of them caught him by surprise and threw him against a rock before holding him there; To his complete surprise, of all meerkats, Kolo rescued him. He dashed after him, dazed.
