ok i have downloaded many maps in the past without fail and i also create maps, but just recently i have downloaded maps at the portal hasnt shown up in cape. wtf is going on?! i reinstalled the game, replaced the map files one by one and checked they all show up, but its the ones i have recently downloaded since the problem started that WILL NOT show up no matter what! please help! i really need maps!

There can only be a few reasons why they aren't working
-The ones that made the maps forgot to add a portal
-You placed the exported maps in the wrong folder
-Or that there's too many maps in the exports folder already
If another downloaded map works fine for you when you place it in the export folder it could be the map itself that isn't made properly.

other people are in the maps i downloaded. I definitely placed them in the exports folder, and theres only a few maps in the exports folder. half of the maps i have are in another folder in my documents, stored for when i need them.

Have you tried for lolz just to install the game to another folder aswell.
Lets say the standard path for feralheart is
C:\Feralheart
Try installing feralheart to something like
C:\Program files\Feralheart instead and run that game after you installed the map that doesn't work.
See if that makes any difference at all.
If other users are using the same download and are able to join the map all fine. It's either the actual map download that faulty, or your game itself which you already re-installed hence why I suggest another path above.
If the pathchange of the game and a re-download of the map doesn't solve it. I wouldn't be sure actually.
The problem should be with either the map or your FH directory if others play on it fine.

ive managed to work out that its not after a certain point it wont download. its that cape will only show the maps i have made and not the ones i have downloaded...
