Any clue?
I haven't been able to play Feral Heart for months because of this error.

Do you even have a file in your FH folder called

Ogre.cfg?

If you do, there's probably a line or two missing in it, if you do not even have the cfg file, the game will never really start.

If you just installed the game I'd suggest you getting a new installer and install with that one, preferably downloaded via torrent to avoid broken installers.

I did download through the torrents finally, and it still shows the error. :\  And yes I do have the file that you mentioned.

Open your ogre.cfg with wordpad, then remove the text in it and replace it with this.

Code: [Select]
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
Anti aliasing=None
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
Rendering Device=
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

I'm not sure if it will work for sure since I cleared the rendering device line there. But arr, it doesn't hurt trying since it doesn't work anyway.

What do I do if I tried getting another account even, and it still won't connect. It says my username and password are wrong, but I know they aren't

I deleted every single file I had from fh and then redownlanded it. I know, maps, presets and things could be lost, try moving them to another file, before downloading it again, and then put them back where they belong.

Wrong username or Password?
There's actually a "bug" in the current registration system, logging into the game can be a problem for some reasons. If you're unable to log in, and just get banned for 15 mins for getting the wrong pass, here's a few things that might solve it.

-The password is capital sensitive, so if you use a small letter where you regged with a big one, it will be the wrong pass
-The numpad on keyboards doesn't work. So you need to use the numbers above the rest of the letters
-some symbols doesn't work as they should and you need to change keyboard layout in order for them to work

If you are unable to fix this I'd suggest you to just create a new account here on the site, and follow This! (http://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=10423.msg144688#msg144688)

Done all of that. started a new account, made the password no capitalized letters, took out the numbers, and it still won't work.
It won't let me onto my old one either, and that one had no numbers or anything either.

Well in that case I'm very certain you get another message except the "Incorrect password/username" one.

Maybe something like "Failed to connect to front server" and in that case, there's answers for that too in the thread.

If it's still a message about wrong password or username, create yet another one or double check the caps n sturf.
