Okay, start))
The alpha male padded over the land, the first rain of the season had just ended, and his paws sank partially into the soft earth below his larger than normal wolf form. His eyes darted around to see who was up and active since the rains were gone for now. Shaking his pelt from the moisture that clung to it, he carried on to the river that was fed by the falls. He lowered his head and lapped at the cool water, completely calm for the moment, ears perked just in case something decided to attempt and approach him.
-
Castiel kept his distance as he watching the alpha from afar. He yawned sitting down on the river bank watching the water now. His ears perked up as he watched his reflection in the water, curling his long fluffy tail around himself. He just sat there for a few moments before looking back in the alpha's direction.
((This is all I got at the moment. x3;))
-
Yazoo's head lifted as he licked the water droplets that clung to his scarred maw. His gaze drifted over to Castiel, an almost silent huff escaping his parted maw as he pads over to the caretaker. The alpha's gaze was unwavering as he headed towards the smaller male. His face and gaze were absolutely devoid of emotion, not even a small sliver of what he was thinking slipping through that 'mask' he always wore. As Yazoo stopped and looked down at Castiel, his tail raised and he bared his teeth, wanting to see this low ranking pack member's reaction.
-
Castiel whined softly ears layed back, slowly moving to lay down. He averted(SP?) his gaze, trying to be submissive. He curled his tail tighter against him whinning again, louder this time.
-
Yazoo's maw twisted into a smirk as Castiel did as he should. Staying put, tail still raised, Yazoo spoke in his velvety, quiet voice "You may rise." The soft breeze made his fur sway and shimmer in the moonlight, his head held high, and slightly cocked to the right, as habit.
((short post for meh XD;;;; ))
-
-Sephiroth's massive jaws parted to release a idle yawn, all 42 impressive fangs in pure view when struck by pale bars of flittering illumination. His chrome tinted pelt held a beguiling glow as the silky strands were moonwashed just right. Glimmering aquamarine eyes shimmer with narrow pupils grazing over the land below him as he was rested to a rock against a cliff.-
-
Yazoo's ears flicked, head turning towards his eldest brother. His smirk faded and that bored look once again took over his features before he padded a bit closer. He stopped about halfway and sat on a rock, wanting to keep his pelt as clean as possible. After all, who enjoyed mud caked fur? Certainly not him.
-
-His tail hung limply off the ledges side, a slight pendulum like motion following as a bitter wind combed through his sterling silver pelt, causing a ghostly mist to bloom before his broad muzzle. From above, he saw his younger brother and another he had not even met yet. Sephiroth being Sephiroth he just turned his attention immediately away as if uninterested at all.-
-
An amused huff left Yazoo's maw at his brother's reaction. He didn't bother him yet, however, he was waiting for an opportune time to catch him off guard. As his gaze shifted to the moon above, his ears pricked forward, listening to all the sounds of night time, taking this chance to soak in all that he loves about this time of day.
-
-He liftened to the story that the winds whispered through the serene forest, the history that lasted so many years told faithfully every night. His stiff ears gave a single flick as his claws flexed to clasp into the solid surface of the rock, pulling them in to purposely emit a gut wrenching screeching sound, completely killing the tranquility.-
-
Yazoo winced, his entire body shuddering at the sound. His head then whipped around and glared at his brother, knowing very well who would dare do that. Standing, he padded over to Sephiroth, his fur slightly sticking up from the pain the sound had caused his ears. "Did you really need to do that...?" The alpha huffed, his pelt starting to lay back down normally.
-
"I was breaking the silence... I've grown bored." -He tipped his head to the slightest angle while looking to him from the corner of his mako eyes.- "You were saying nothing, so...."
-
Yazoo let out a sigh, leaping up onto one of the rocks "You could go hunt you know, if you are bored..." He stretched a bit before continuing "You want to have a conversation with me...? Must be the Apocalypse..." He huffed with a roll of his eyes, obviously being sarcastic.
-
"Well sorry. I guess you rather not speak to me then on this rare occasion hm?" -He looked up towards him with a impassive gaze as his paws shifted against the cold stone.- "What, did I offend you or something?"
-
Kali sat, watching the pack from afar. She knew she should be with them, but she wanted time on her own. Suddenly remembering that she had a duty, she padded softly and quietly back to the pack, realising that no one even noticed she was gone. Good, she thought, sarcastically. Glad no one noticed. She sighed, before heading over to the pup den to continue her duties as a caretaker.
-
Castiel got up slowly and wandered off in the direction of the dens, ears still layed back tail low to the ground, thinking to himself silently as he walked. His ears perked slightly noticing Kali going to the pup den. He followed after her, he probably should have been doing his duties aswell. Of course Castiel didn't mind being a pup-sitter but he knew he could probably do much more for the pack than just 'caretaking' though he figured he'd just have to settle for now.
-
Yazoo wasn't bothered at all that the caretakers weren't doing their duties, after all, how could they if there are no pups? His attention was then fully focused on his eldest brother once again "No, you didn't... It's just strange that you suddenly want to have a conversation with me..." He let out a yawn, his blood stained fangs shown bright in the moonlight "Did you even have something to talk about in mind....?"
-
Castiel stopped outside and sat down near the entrance, huffing slightly. 'I wish there was something else for me to do instead of just sit here and look pretty.' he thought to himself as he watched Yazoo and Sephiroth again.
-
-He thought for a moment and flexed his claws in and out on the stone while watching the other two, then spotting Castiel through gleaming mako eyes.- "Guess it was more to annoy you and get your attention. You know well by now I do not start or keep up conversations."
-
Kali sighed and looked gloomily into the empty pup den. She saw Castiel outside, and grunted "Hi" before wandering inside the den and sniffing at everything. Satisfied that there was nothing in there, she padded out and headed over to the waterfall. She sat down quietly, peering down at her reflection. Spotting a fish, she patted playfully at the water, a smile appearing at the corners of her muzzle. The fish, spooked by her paw, darted underwater out of sight. Kali's smile disappeared and she sighed. She curled up by the water's edge, her tail touching her nose, and watched the waterfall. Eventually, she fell asleep.
She was woken later by a cold sensation. She lifted her head and saw that her back paws were in the water. Slowly, she got up and shook her fur. She yawned, and heaved a large sigh before heading back towards the pack.
-
Castiel's ears drooped slightly, watching Kali for a moment then glancing back to Yazoo and Sephiroth. His ears layed back even more.
-
-His claws tap in a vexatious pattern, creating a annoying clinking noise to repeat along with the gossiping birds that hopped branch to branch over head. He shifted his position to sit himself up gradually, heaving his masculine frame up before lunging off the ledge, mighty paws creating a muted thud against the bare dirt with a small plume of sorrel dust.-
-
((I added a pic of Kali to the joining thread, if ya wanna see ^^))
She sat atop a convenient rock and groomed herself, watching the others. She chuckled a little at the conversation by the two brothers, then padded to some open place. She smirked, and started running at top speed in a circle! She thought, Let them see my crazy side for once! And she started jumping around everywhere, before grooming out her fur again, and padding back to her rock right outside the den.
-
Yazoo let out a low growl at his eldest brother's actions before padding away back to the rock he had been perched upon earlier. Shaking his pelt, he huffed, quite unamused with how boring it was becoming. The alpha lifted his muzzle and let out a low howl, letting them know he was headed out to hunt, and for whoever wanted to join him.
-
-Luna slowly walked her way out of the den shaking out her light pink pelt carefully not to strain her bulging stomach. Her ears flicked to her mate's howl, but knew she couldn't go out the way she was, her coral pink eyes turned to see only a few were around and with that she sat outside the den looking up to the moon smiling slightly-
-
Kali lifted her head at the alpha's howl. She stood up and stretched, before following the howl. She stopped a few feet from Yazoo, and grunted, "I would like to join in the hunt, If that's okay."
-
she sighed slighly before standing back up and slowly walking her way to the stream to get a drink, she paused for a few moments from kick inside her stomach before moving on the breeze shifting her thick coat.
-
Yazoo gave a nod to Kali and started to pad off into the forest. If anyone else wanted to join the hunt, they'd have to hurry after. He sniffed the air as he attempted to figure out what he was in the mood to catch today.
-
Jazz huffed as the breath whooshed out of her lungs. She had aimed a long jump to the next tree in sight, and had barely missed it. Though she landed silently, the lean huntress gazed around with her eerily glowing eyes which seemed to slice through the darker part of the forest. Her slim claws desperately grasped the damp floor of the tree covered terrian. She had been looking for prey, but so far had no such luck. With a quick flick of her ears, she leaped through the forest, continuing her search.
-
Cas made a soft huff-like noise curling his tail around himself again, ears still laid back completely. He closed his eyes to think to himself, blocking out everything else at the moment.
-
Kali followed Yazoo for a little while, then broke away towards the scent of a young deer. She crouched down and slipped through the grass. Suddenly, she spotted it. A little deer. Creeping up, she could not smell its parents; they must be gone. She lowered herself, and her hind legs sprang out like springs, and she landed on the defenseless deer. After a few seconds of struggling, the deer went limp, and for the first time, she saw that the deer was blind. She whined, and started to drag the small body back to the pack. She did take a bite from her prize, but she knew better than to devour it all. It was small, but at least they wouldn't starve.
-
she made it to the river to take a few laps of the cool water before a strong pain came over her stomach "oh please not here...."- she spoke quietly before turning around to try making her way back to the den her steps were small before sitting down under a tree panting knowing she wan't far but she couldn't walk without a little help, and on that now she let out a loud howl that would hopefully reach her pack.
-
Kali stopped, holding the deer in her jaws. She heard the howl. She heard the panic in it. Kali started to panic, herself. She could either help, or bring this food back to the pack.
She decided. She ran in the direction of the howl, hoping, hoping, that Yazoo caught more than her.
-
-His ears swivel forwards to his brothers howl as he swept his gaze over in his direction, knowing they were about to hunt. Sephiroth whirls around and began trotting in his direction soon after, but at a lagging pace since he was certainly in no rush right now and wouldn't bother to really for any one. He sighed through his nose, a plume of mist exuding into the air to frame his muzzle before fading. Before he knew it Kali already caught a deer with no ones help, now wondering if that short hunt was it. He quirked a brow before hearing yet another howl, turning his attention back towards it.
-
Yazoo froze in place realizing that was Luna's howl. With the hunt now wiped from his mind, he whirled around and bounded straight to his mate. Soon after getting to her, he realized what was going on, and swiftly, but carefully, helped her back to the den.
-
OOC: this is so exciteing to read (i am ambrose when he is born :3) shouldnt be to much longer! XD
-
Castiel's eyes blinked open at the commotion, making sure he stayed out of the way until he was really 'needed'. He stayed close though watching.
-
(nope not at all XD) She was happy that her howl was heard and leaned against Yaz as he helped her back to the den, she laid down carefully before a quiet whine escaped her muzzle as she rested it on her paws waiting for the rest to take it's course-
-
Yazoo backed away from Luna so she could have some space after she had laid down. He kept his eyes locked on her, ears perked, eagerly waiting.
-
she finally rolled to her side were it was comfortable and at the point the pain grew stronger and stronger as her breathing picked up. It took a while for the her but after a long amount of time 5 small pups made there way into the pack, she was tired from all the work but shifted so she was able to lick the small pups as she nosed them to her stomach her tail slowly wrapping around them-
-
Kali, after following behind, watched the little pups and smiled warmly. Then she sighed. I wish I had pups... She thought. But soon cheered up at the thought that at least as a caretaker she would have a job.
-
Jazz stumbled when she heard a painful howl, but she was way to far away to reach it. She skidded to a hault and sped towards camp. Being lean it was easy to run far distances, but her jog took a while. She slowed down once she reached camp, with nothing but a fat rabit. She hoped prey would be more plentiful later in the day. As she headed towards the den she had figured out what was happening. She set the rabit down and laid down by it, waiting and watching. Resting her head down on the grass, she watched the gleaming sky and it's surrounding clouds, hoping the time would rush by faster if she did so. But she soon found it hard to keep her eyes open.
-
she smiled licking the pups a bit more before turning to see some of the members came from the hunting trip, she layed her head down to her paws and yawned easily falling alseep as the pups nursed-
-
Seeing that both mother and pups were okay, Kali darted back to the young deer she had caught. She dragged it towards the dens slowly, and laid it down beside the den. She then padded back to the group where she watched the pups some more, her eyes sparkling as she smiled warmly at the pups again.
-
The she-wolf flickers her ears in greeting, too tired to do anything else. With the hare at her paws, she blinked a couple of times. She was glad her packmates were okay. She tapped her tail on the ground for a bit, no reason in particular for her doing so. She decided to heave herself back up, shake her pelt, and trot back into the woods. She hoped this time it had better prey to offer to this growing pack. Her silent pawsteps were quick, and all her senses on alert. As the sunlight split through the slow growing trees it bounced of her black markings.
-
Yazoo watched as his pups suckled from their mother, his mate. His tail wagged swiftly as it finally sank in that he was a father, and there was new life in the pack.
-
Vanora's eyes were still squeezed shut, although she desperately yearned to know what all the smells that surrounded her were. Her silver fur stayed shaded in the darkness of the enclosed space she was in. The occasional whine or whimper would escape her tiny maw. She helplessly crawled around the now almost familiar den.
-
Ambrose hardly ever let out a wimper, he was the quiet shy type and stayed close to his mothers side. He lifted his small nose into the air and caught the different family memebres scents remembering them for later. Occasionaly a sibling would bump into him while crawling across the den floor.

(This looks interesting can I join it)
