Personality: Ilma is kind and empathetic to the plight of the hurting, and will sometimes stir the air around them to comfort them. Being an angel, she upholds justice, particularly for the poor and hurting. Her experiences in life have made her strong and hardy; well able to handle most of the evil spirits that occasionally try to deceive the pack.
History: In life, Ilma was born, an only pup, to two Rune Wolves that were members of one of the many Rune Wolf packs that wandered the land in the olden days. Shortly after she was born, her entire pack was killed by humans who wanted them dead. She only survived because she was entirely grey, and blended into the rock. Her life from then on was a constant struggle to survive. On numerous occasions she almost starved to death, or was almost killed by humans. To top it all off, when she finally made it to adulthood and was ready to mate, her mate betrayed her and ran off to who knows where and left her heartbroken. Exactly how she dies is controversial. Some say she forgot to hunt, some say she ended up suffering the fate of her family, and still others say she took her own life. Whatever the actual cause of her death, everyone agrees that she really died of a crushed heart.
A higher deity pitied her life of pain and misery, and saw that she was kind, gentle, and empathetic to those in need, while still strong and hardy enough to defend them. After her death, he transformed her into an angel. To this day, she watches the pack and does her best to keep them from the harm that was so prevalent in her life.
Other: Ilma is Finnish for air.
SPECIAL NOTE FROM ALICIA: I am allowing this character to be an "observer" to the RP until she has a chance to be born into the pack. She will only interact with other characters when asked to. Odds are, I will not be allowing another character like this except under EXTREMELY special circumstances.

Personality:
Iris is very wise for her age, mostly because of her power. She has learned, seen and heard many things past an average Rune wolf's knowledge of her own age. Though she may be wise, she can have her immature moments; also known as her "puppy moments." For example, chasing a squirrel just for fun or daring another Rune wolf to climb a tree to the top. Iris may have a sharp tongue, her instructor (Neytiri), one of the few mind Rune wolves around told her, "If you don't make judgements, then how can you decipher the right from wrong? How can you determine the light from the dark? We make judgements so we can understand one another and make sure history doesn't repeat itself. If you fail to do that then the power of a mind wolf is useless." Iris doesn't judge others in an ill sense, she judges for the benefit of herself and for others. Though she may seem cold at times, this is because her mind is constantly connected with another being, nature. Iris finds it useful to distance herself every so often because she realizes that in a matter of life and death, she must not let her emotions as well as the emotions of the other being get in the way of her duties. It can be stressful, she believes, when it feels like you constantly carry the world on your shoulders.
Iris has a weakness, however, she has no knowledge that it can be a weakness that will destroy her. A flaw in this Rune wolf would be that she is too open towards others. She constantly has to understand others and find out what motivates the to do what they do. This is no different when it comes to the enemy. While Iris' power can be useful, it can also be the cause of her own destruction. Wise as she can be, she can be oblivious when it comes to herself.
History:
Iris was born to two Rune wolves. A dark Rune (Shade) and a light Rune. Though her mother is completely unknown. Rumors have it that she died giving birth to Iris and Shade refused to talk about her mother when asked, he loved her that much. Despite the fact that she knows little about her mother, Iris is very close to her father. He raised her as his daughter and taught her to hunt and fight. However, when it became clear that she was a mind wolf, he could not teach her the ways of these rare Runes. Then along came Neytiri, Iris' mentor and the only mind Rune wolf known to exist at the time. Through her, Iris was taught how to control her mind powers. She was taught to read other minds at her own will, control other beings, and to feel the emotions running through the nature of an individual. This, she realized, was what it meant to be a mind Rune wolf.
A night Iris will never forget, was the death of her mentor. There was a traitor in the midst of the Rune wolves; Iris was the first to realize and instead of confronting Neytiri about it, she took it upon herself to face him. It was a rough battle, the bloodiest Iris had ever had. She used what she could of her mind powers at the time, attempting to use them for good against the evils of this wolf. She was losing desperately. That was when Neytiri interfered and stopped him from drawing the death blow. He was a fire Rune, and while he had Iris down, he intended to burn her alive. Instead, his powers hit Neytiri. Realizing his mistake, he ran off into the distance, knowing he would be killed for committing such a crime. The murder of a wise mind Rune wolf. Iris was traumatized, and desperately wished that she hadn't made such a decision in the first place. Now, instead of carrying the guilt on her fur, Iris has decided to live on with Neytiri's teachings and to pass them on to any mind Rune that would be in need of her help.
RP Sample:
Light purple orbs softened as she watched the small litter of pups rough house with each other. She remember when she was that small. Of course, she had no siblings, but she would always have play fights with her father. The female wolf moved her gaze to the terrain ahead add squinted. She had a feeling something was up, someone was nearby. It wasn't a good feeling either. A growl rumbled low in her throat, causing nearby Runes to lift their heads and give her curious looks. Iris flicked her tail, paying them no mind, and began to walk toward the presence. She had to know what was there. What if it was that wolf? Anger flared in her entire being, the male that killed her mentor. If it was him, she'd rip him a new one. Iris wouldn't give him such a warm welcome. Oh no she wouldn't. He had another thing coming.
Iris felt the fur on her neck and back rise the closer to moved toward the presence. She stopped dead when a rustle in the bushes next to her startled her. In a flash, she bore her fangs and backed up, waiting for the enemy to show himself.

Sorry it took so long to reply--I've been a bit busy these past few days. I like your Rune! The concept of a traitor in the pack makes for interesting backstory and possibly a future plot device~

Personality:
Shade is very quite, he tends to turn away from help. He doesn't like speaking most of the time he will just look at the ground when he is being spoken to. But don't get me wrong Shade might be quite but he is very wise for a pup. He likes to wonder off and do the opposite of what he is told. It not like Shade tries to be like this, he can't help it, it was the way his parents treated him. But Shade loves running, racing with the stars under the night sky, its the only thing that keeps him going. He grows stronger and stronger every day.
History:
When Shade was little he loved being with others, playing with pups and running around in the fields. But that all changed when his father came back from Alaska, he was there to chase down a wanted wolf who betrayed their pack a while back. When his father returned home Shade changed, his dad beat him and his older brother. One night out under the stars, Shade was sitting in the field alone with his older brother Prisk. They were talking about how it would be when they are older and on their own. Shade was sitting up looking at the stars and all that crossed his mind was his dad, that got Shade mad, just thinking about his dad. Well the thought led from just him leaving and coming back to a fight to the death. Shade's eyes grew mad, he started growling at nothing, his brother didn't know what was going on. As Shade grew madder his eyes got redder, he did something bad out f anger, he killed his brother. And from then on he has never used his power again, ever since then Shade has wish he never had powers. He ran away from home and lived on his own since then.
RP Sample:
Shade raced under the open skies, he loved the freedom of running, racing with the stars that shot through the sky. He dug his claws into the soft earth, propelling himself forward. Shade planted his paws and lept across a narrow ravine, skidding to a stop on the other side she gauged the distance and chuckled to himself, "Not bad, Shade... not bad at all." (I have had better)

Personality: A fun-loving pup. She is kind and hardly ever bad mouths anyone. She knows she's different, but continues to carry on trying her hardest to fit in. She wants a mentor, to be trained, just so she can prove herself worthy of being equal. Not higher ranked or lower ranked to the other Runes.
History: She was born with pure white markings in a wolf pack unknown. Astonished, her mother (Whom was also a Rune Wolf) brought her to the Rune Wolves pack so that she could lead a normal life. The other Runes gladly took her in, and raised her with care.
RP Sample: Aerialis shivered. It had become colder this time of year. Though the Autumn breeze felt good against her fur. She smiled, looking up at the sky. She opened her muzzle and let out a small yip. She was almost old enough to be apprenticed. She was ecstatic. She bounded out of the den and rolled on the ground, crunching leaves beneath her back and belly. How wonderful it felt. She soon stopped when a familiar scent hit her nose. Getting up she bowed, "Good morning Nerina." She said softly, a polite greeting to their leader.

@Wolf: Your application has several grammatical errors ("quite" should be "quiet," for one), and your character wouldn't fit well with the Rune Wolves in general. Even if he was part of the pack, he would have a hard time being accepted since he killed another Rune Wolf.
@xXEmo_CookieXx: Nerina actually isn't the leader of the Rune Wolves. There is no official leader in the pack, and even if there was, it wouldn't be Nerina--she's too young. Also, not really something that needs to be changed, but if Aerialis wasn't born from the Rune Wolves, then at least one if not both of her parents would have had to have been a Markless or have Rune Wolf ancestry. (Even then, having full control of her powers would be astonishing since halfies tend to be weaker then normal Runes.)
And thanks for including the "secret" phrase. I had almost forgotten about that. xD

Your application looks pretty good aside from the grammatical errors and run-on sentences. (Though they're not that much of a problem, especially compared to what I've seen in my life... @_@) However, if Angel is only 3 months old, she never would have had a mentor since Runes don't start training until around 6 months of age. Also:

Personality: Teracotta playful Earth Wolf. She loves to play with and watch over the pack's pups. Some of her favorite activites and games are digging holes, skipping medium-sized pebbles with her powers, and making/identifying prints in the ground. Beacause of the last activity, she has the potenial to become a good tracker of prey. Her favorite prey are groundhogs.
History: Terracotta was born to two Earth wolves, Erde, her father, and Tierra, her mother. She was named after her grandmother (now deceased.). She was a mischevious pup, often wandering away from the den. Her antics included playing in mud right after getting clean and trying to learn the other Element's powers (despite the impossibility). Her mother was worried until Muddy, her mentor, showed her the ways of the pack. After she learned from him, Teracotta gained responsibility- although she still likes to have fun.
RP Sample: Teracotta gazed at the moon and stars. They shone around her, lighting up every part of her body. No, I can't stay here, She told herself. I'm in another pack's territory, and they're agressive twords Runes. Terracotta got up and began to trot north, where the pack got lost while hunting a herd of deer. As she walked deeper into the forest, Terry began to smell markings of another pack. I gotta get outa here! She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, but was stopped in her tracks by a sinister voice- "Why hello, little drirt Rune....."
Other: The other wolves sometimes call her "Terry" because Terrracota is too long to say. In the RP example, the voice says "Dirt Rune" because he doesn't like Rune Wolves. I'll be adding to her bio as we rp."I am a Rune Wolf."

@Alie: I love your application! My policy has always been quality over quantity, so it's a bit difficult to make these applications too short. (After all, check out Nerina!) However, your wolf doesn't look like other Rune Wolves normally do. Double-check the "physiology" section and the pictures of the other members. Also, for the RP Sample, just scroll through the other applications in the topic. (I omit them from the roster so it doesn't get too cluttered.)
@Silverdawn: Good, I'm glad we're getting an elder! :D

@Alie: Dirt Rune, that's a good one. xD I personally prefer Rune markings being a bit more... magical-looking, so to speak, but Terra's markings would probably fit her because of her element. I'll add her to the roster unless you want to change her.

@Alicia: Yea, I know that Terra's markings are more on the "natural" side, but the earth is natural, right? ;). I bet I messed up in the grammar somewhere in my app, so feel free to fix anything on the roster. Oh and my time zone is Eastern Standard Time (EST), USA. I'm fine with any time through the 2nd, but then i'm back to school. So weekdays anywhere from 3-4, I guess. IDK about the weekends. I can get my height maps and masks onto my game, but i'm clueless in every other department. Maybe someone on the map request thread would be able to help us.

I just have a question about the wolve's elements.... would their elements affect the odds of the winner if two different types were fighting? (Ex: a Water Rune having an advantage over a Fire Rune.) Sorry if I sound too Pokemon-ish here lol.

That's actually a good question. I kind of imagine that it depends more on the skill of the Runes fighting, but you also have to realize that if their element fails them, they still have their teeth and claws.
Hmm... I may have to make a Pokemon-styled elemental strengths/weaknesses chart now that this has been brought up. xD

History: Sky was born as a rune pup. A few days after she learned to run faster, Her parents got killed by the humans but Sky escape and found a rune pack. After two weeks on running, Stopping to find dead animals and water without resting, Sky found a new home.
RP Sample: Sky yawned as she woke up after a good night sleep. Sky really want to do now is learning to control her element but she wasnt six months old yet. "I wish i was six months old now" Sky barked. Sky sniff to see if any pup woke up yet but they were still asleep. "Well....maybe i can run around for a little bit" Sky signed. Sky's small, swift paws may be useful in hunting and fighting on day but for now, she can use them to run, walk and play. didn't want to wake the whole pack up, Sky walked a little faster, making sure that she dosn't trip over rocks, twigs and sticks that were rooted to the ground. a bird flew close to Sky, losing one of it's feathers. "wow....that's one flying bird" Sky barked softly, making the bark a whisper. a red feather landed to the ground after the bird lost one of it's feathers. Sky pawed it, seeing if the feather was safe to play. "It looks safe...so i can play with it!" Sky baked as she played with the red feather.

Im a Eastern time zone and I am not allowed to play during the week so most likely Friday-Sunday around 12pm is where I can stop. But right now I am in NC so I cant get on, but I'll be home tomorrow.

I actually haven't got FH+ yet cuz FH takes up a whole CPU on my laptop, and I don't know how it will work, but i'll test it. I also think that it would be a good Idea since that ther'es a savannah and forest map that would be nice for both us and Wings of Hope to RP on.

Let's do normal feral heart because fh+ keeps on saying : "fail to connect to the sever" and fh+ messes up my characters because I saw one of my characters with a whole red tail instead on a red tail tip and I couldn't see sky's underfur, it was plain gray with silver markings instead on gray fur with white underfur (paws,muzzle,belly) and a white tail tip.

FH+ is blocked by my antivirus, and w/ the glitches that Stephan's getting.... I think we should do FH.

A lot of people seem to be having problems with FH+ (myself included T_T), so I guess we'll have to use regular FH. Well, at least MoonWolf has offered to make a map for us, so we don't really have to worry about the extra RP areas. ^_^
Also, Nerina is still trapped in limbo due to the Ficho Caverns glitch. *sigh*

Celenia is a kind , yet very agressive when it comes to hunting and protecting wolf.Her element is Wind , yet she is unmarked. She fighted for her love James , unfortunitly he got killed in battle. She is now looking for a mate but is still missing James Badly.
History: Like I said she fought for her love James but he got killed..... and she got kicked from her pack because the females weren't supposed to fight for their loved ones , but she had too , otherwise he would've had to give his powers for nothing. She has a weakness , it can't kill her but it is strong against her badly ... the weakness is Darkness elements because they hate her because she fought in their territory and thats what got James killed.
Fortunitly she found a home with the runewolves. Her parents are unknown because the war was the day of her birth and they got killed.She isn't really paying attention to that though , whats she's paying attention too is about James. Rp Sample: As she walked the forest she saw some darkend light orbs. They began to fade because of the DarkRune's powers among the land. She knew she had to do something. She fought threw many of The packs to get there. When she saw the source of land that was causing the whole amount of damage , she heard rustling in the woods. She froze... she turned her head and a WHOLE army of wolves were about to attack , but she wondered "What should she do?"
She thought for a moment , but she remembered her powers. She snarled and makes ALOT of tornadoes and it killed all of them. She went to the Darkened light sources and defeated them. It was not easy but she finally defeated all of the wolves. She went home and saw everyone staring at her. They yelled "SHES A HERO!!"

I have a mac, and the version of FH that I have right now is the only one on the downloads page for mac, version 1.21. Is that FH or FH plus? You'll know the difference between FH and FH+ when you download it. FH+ is at the bottom of the "Official Downloads" section and (by default) installs in a folder called FeralHeart+. Besides, I have both versions, so there shouldn't be any problems meeting up in-game.

Rouge is a sweet Female wolf , yet when it comes to fighting she is very feirce and will do anything to protect her friends.She is very wise and very noble. She will accomplish a mission in a blink of an eye for a friend. She can have "puppy moments" if she gets too off steam. Sometimes when she is mad weird things happen like: Her eyes turn red. She bares her fangs. She snarls and growls at the same time. When she is with her friends she usually talks her heart out until she is passed out on the floor. She isn't selfish one bit , but can sometimes get too off steam and run around in circles for about an hour and pass out on the ground. Sometimes , she gets too excited about going for a walk and runs very quickly and beats all of her friends.
She has a weakness , it's very weird but it is crabs. They just freak her out half of the time if she "ever" sees them. She needs a good mate to take her heart away and love her with all of their love.
History: When Rouge was a puppy she was abandoned by her pack on accedent. Her parents were worried sick and Rouge was walking around yelping trying to find her pack. She didn't. There was looking parties all over the area but still there was no sign of her. Her paw prints in the snow were berried in snow storms so they had no trace of her no matter what. She was walking (not looking where she was going) and fell off a cliff. She yelped when she it the bottom and the RuneWolves found her. Almost all of the snow was covering her , so it was not easy for them. The picked the pup up and saw markings like theirs on her. They took her to their den and spared her life and helped her live.
Rp Sample: Rouge dashed off the cliff into the water. When she made a huge splash it mostly scared all of the fish away. She thought" Well now this is bad I have no food!"
She walked out of the lake and sat down at the edge of it. She finally spotted a huge fish. She was unsure what it was but she decided to strike her paw in there and kill the fish. She missed.
She was angry and sat frustrated that she missed. Then there it was again! She lied low , making sure the fish didn't see her. She struck her claw at it and she got the fish. She ate it and said" Hmmph that took longer than I thought."

I admit that this is a much better application than your last ones, but like I said before, only exceptional applications can be approved to be rare Runes. Plus, Runes don't have pink underfur. (The only oddly-colored Rune so far is Iris, but that's because it was done so darn well that I honestly didn't notice it at first. xD)

Because you're a really nice wolf. They were wrong." One day she left him in a warm cave to go hunt. When she came back he was laying down passed out dead. She will never forget the death of him. She has been sad on for a little while until she met the Rune Wolves. They let her in their pack and treated her kindly and well.
RP sample: She walked along the forest not sure what she was there for. She saw a buck long-tailed deer and thought" Awesome now I'm hungry!" She got in her attack position and jumped on the Deer. She missed. The deer bucked her off. Angrily she walked to the pond. She sat and saw it again. She crouched it the weeds and jumped attacking the deer and she missed again. She sighed. @Mhairie: Your app is the kind that I'm really looking for: nothing too complex but something still coherent and well put-together. Being able to control balls of electricity wasn't something I had really planned out for Light Wolves, so I would like you to remove that. (Though being able to create balls of light IS in their description. Admittedly, I can't think of many ways in which light can be used as an actual attack.) Also, why is her belly yellow? Last, you're missing one little part of your app--read the rules and you'll see what it is. ^_^
@angel: I am willing to admit that your applications have improved since you first applied. However, as I said before, I don't think you will be a good fit for the Rune Wolves. You have been very rude and disrespectful, you have broken the rules multiple times, and you either refuse to follow instructions or are outright ignoring them. I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to join the Rune Wolves.

I didn't see anything stating that his underfur couldn't be yellow. I saw that it had to be a lighter color, and figured yellow looked okay. Is there a reason that it can't be yellow? I guess I could make it white or gray if you'd like. Also, I removed the electricity ball thing. And I agree with the light based powers not being very useful in an attack. Unless a light ball is created to stun the enemy, make him/her temporarily blind, ect. I added the part, sorry I forgot. ^^,

Ah, when I wrote "lighter color" I really meant a lighter shade of whatever their fur color is... Sorry I wasn't very clear on that! ^_^' I have been thinking of changing it so that it can match the color of their runes (but that would be rarer than just having grey) because it looks pretty good on some wolves.

Shadow isn't like most Dark wolves, he can be a fun-loving wolf. Shadow loves to play with pups, someday he hopes on finding a mate and have a family of his own. Shadow also has a way to make other wolves (Mostly females) feel good about themselves, such as if he saw someone being insure cure he would comfort them and make them accept who they are. But don't get me wrong Shadow can be very protect over anybody! He can be fine a minute and in a blink of an I we will be fighting a bear, or some wolf who comes onto their territory. But one thing you do need to know, no matter who it is, or where its at if he sees a bear his killing it.
History:
Shad was born under Shad and Light, they both were Dark wolves. It wasn't until a few years ago Shadow found out who he really is a "Dark" wolf, part of the Rune Wolves. When he first got the news, he didn't know what to think at first it was "Am I dreaming? Or are my folks going crazy?" The news was kind of sudden to him for multiple reasons. But as he got older and joined the Rune Wolves he then thought "WOW, its true, I am a Rune!" But the sad thing is he never got the chance to tell his folks sorry for yelling at them and calling them crazy, because they went missing a few months back. Shadow tries not to think of them much anymore, the one thing he can remember most about is the moon "It will guide you son." His father told him once. Shadow never knew what the meant, until...He found her... (Find out who she is in RP, if I'm accepted that is ;)
RP Sample:
A brown tom stalked through the forest, his muscles rippling with every step. He had worked hard to attain them, and didn't count on loosing them. He jumped onto a pine tree trunk and clawed his way up to the first strong branch to help support him. He looked down, pretty high up off of the ground. He awaited the scent of prey to greet him, but was pretty disappointed when it never happened. He sighed, jumping down and landing on his paws gracefully. "I should of just chased it when I had the chance." He sighs as he walks back to the rest of the pack.

I haven't downloaded Lorcan's or Dillion's presets yet, how do I do this? I wouldn't ask, but I don't want to screw up my computer (it's new). I use windows.
Edit: One other idea I had, since we will be RPing on both the forum and game, should we post recaps in the RP section for those who weren't there doing the game RP? That way they could catch up. ^^

When you download the preset file, just put it into your FeralHeart/presets folder. Ta-da! Preset installed.
And yes, RP recaps would be great, especially for ones done in-game. ^_^

Personality: Dispite his name, Nirvana is anything but peacefull. His element fits his name well though, due to the fact that nirvana also means 'the extinguishing of a fire'. Nirvana likes to have females thinking that he's madly in love with them so they'll help him with his dirty work. He just leaves them in the dust afterwards though. Nirvana doesn't like to take orders. Its not in him. Nirvana is very laid back and doesn't do much. He is extremely cocky and arrogant. Nirvana isn't one who can be trusted, and just about everybody who's met him knows this.
History: Born to the powerful alpha pair, Bacardi and Nineve, Nirvana didn't really live a hard life. He was the oldest and bullied his three younger brothers constantly. Up untill age one, Nirvana's daily life consisted of eating, sleeping, and playing.
When Nirvana turned one year old, his mother and father told him that he would be the next alpha. Nirvana grew cocky because of this. He knew that he would one day lead the entire pack and would be having them do whatever he commanded. Even though he wasn't alpha yet, Nirvana would act like he was one. When he wanted something he would just walk up to somebody and tell them to do whatever his command was. They would normally say no to such a childish task, so Nirvana would say the same thing to them whenever they declined: "Well then when i'm alpha i'll demote you to omega. Or maybe even exile you." This would have the pack doing whatever he said. Nirvana did all of this behind his father's back, so he never got in trouble.
Of course, there is a first time for everything. Te pack's beta, Jepsen, went to Bacardi one day and told him of Nirvana's actions. This was when Nirvana had tuned two. He was somewhat stronger than his father, and when confronted by him, Nirvana draged he poor elder straight into battle. Nirvana killed his father in battle. He was devastated by such an act. He loved his father, dispite his crude ways toward him. Nirvana was shunned by his pack, and he just couldn't take it. He left shortly after his father's death and lived as a loner up until age three, when he joined a pack of wolves like himself.
RP Sample: A wolven figure trotted along the beach shore. His tracks were easily marked by bloody pawprints. One wouldn't have to listen closely to hear Nirvana's heavy breathing. His eyes narrowed as he surveyed the land. Nirvana was attacked erlier. Completely by surprise. The large male saw no sighn of another being near him. He was bleeding, but the source couldn't be detected by his own eyes. Nirvana ignored it and stepped into the shallow saltwater. Blood swirled aoround in the water as it poured from his body. Nirvana calmed himself down and lay his head down onto his paws. His nose just barely stuck outof the water. Nirvana's breathing went back to normal as he closed his eyes, and drifted off into a slumber.

Nirvana can have any female under his spell with a quick smile and a gaze.
This kind of falls into godmodding territory. Also, Rune Wolves are grey in color, not red.
Other than that, I really like the concept of this character: a cocky "prince" dethroned by his own attitude. It's like a Greek tragedy. xD

Personality: Ilma is kind and empathetic to the plight of the hurting, and will sometimes stir the air around them to comfort them. Being an angel, she upholds justice, particularly for the poor and hurting. Her experiences in life have made her strong and hardy; well able to handle most of the evil spirits that occasionally try to deceive the pack.
History: In life, Ilma was born, an only pup, to two Rune Wolves that were members of one of the many Rune Wolf packs that wandered the land in the olden days. Shortly after she was born, her entire pack was killed by humans who wanted them dead. She only survived because she was entirely grey, and blended into the rock. Her life from then on was a constant struggle to survive. On numerous occasions she almost starved to death, or was almost killed by humans. To top it all off, when she finally made it to adulthood and was ready to mate, her mate betrayed her and ran off to who knows where and left her heartbroken. Exactly how she dies is controversial. Some say she forgot to hunt, some say she ended up suffering the fate of her family, and still others say she took her own life. Whatever the actual cause of her death, everyone agrees that she really died of a crushed heart.
A higher deity pitied her life of pain and misery, and saw that she was kind, gentle, and empathetic to those in need, while still strong and hardy enough to defend them. After her death, he transformed her into an angel. To this day, she watches the pack and does her best to keep them from the harm that was so prevalent in her life.
RP Sample: Ilma watched the hunt unfold from far above the earth. The pack was trying to bring down an elk, something she had never dared to try in life. She saw them pick out an old, weakened doe, and begin the chase. Watching with interest, she noticed them encircle the elk in a trap, and use teamwork, strength, and a little fire magic to bring it down. "The satisfaction of successfully bringing down an animal so large must feel really good," she thought to herself. She wished she could have experienced that for herself. "At least they, and future generations, have the assurance of many successful hunts in the future." Sighing, Ilma noticed them beginning to haul the elk back to camp, and preceded to fly that way herself.

By divine mandate, she typically just watches physical events unfold without interfering. However, if a pack member asks her to help in a time of need, she is more than happy to help.

This is a temporary character until the RP gets to the point where someone has pups. After that, I will make a pup character that will be my main one, and I will only play this character if I am specifically asked to by another pack member for RP reasons. In the mean time, I'll be mostly observing the in-game RPs; I won't join in unless someone specifically asks me to.

I discussed this character concept with Skywolf over PM. She really wants to be born into the pack, but since we're just getting started, nobody's had time to have pups yet. I am allowing her to create this character so she can observe our roleplays and possibly (when asked, as she noted) interact with us before making her "official" character. I'm going to add her to the roster under an "Other" category for the time being. (And she added her "secret code" in the PM, so I'm not requiring it here. :P)

RP Sample:A dark grey shape walked through the undergrowth, her eyes glittering as she found her secret spot, a clearing with a stream going through it, a small waterfall, flowers here and there, and a few bushes. "Now this is better" She said quietly, lapping from the stream and sitting down, looking at the clouds as they rolled by in their slow way.

Interesting character, though I've noticed that characters with amnesia tend to... not go so well. Not that I won't accept it, but just be careful of how you play her. I'm not sure about how I feel about the purple hair, either, and her eyes should probably be darker. (Technically they should be black, but that might be a bit creepy. o.o)

lol, i can make changes on her, and ive had experience on characters with amnesia, i write a lot so my writing has sort of bled into my rping. And almost grey blackish would be cool O.o and i can get rid of the purple mane if you want, just something i added onto her XDD

I have to say, I have never posted and application to a group, and within 30 minutes it's posted on the front page already. Wow.
Anyway, is it possible for people on FH and FH+ to see each other on certain maps? I'd like to be able to use FH+ if I can, since all the maps in the normal FH only use the African grass texture. I've talked to people who were using the normal FH in general chat in the Endless Plains and the Temple of Dreams, but I've never actually noticed if I could see them.

A lot of our members are having issues with FH+, so we've generally agreed to use normal FeralHeart. (Which kind of stinks 'cause FH+ has a bunch of great RP spots...) I have both installed on my computer, but that's just me. *shrug*

I know people are having problems with FH+, which is why I'm curious whether you can see each other across games.
I know (unless the people I've talked to were lying) that we can talk in General across games, and I've noticed in FH+'s Bonfire Island there are people inside one of the rocks where the original FH portal between Ficho Tunnel and Bonfire Island is.
In my opinion, the best RP spots we have are either the Temple of Dreams or Lonely Cave. The Temple of Dreams because it is shared by both games and features a beach. Lonely Cave because no one really RPs there, and African Grass isn't exactly out of place.

I've been stalking that thread, Silver, and I think they said they're only renting out to semi-realistic groups. I'm not quite sure "realistic fantasy" applies. xD
Also, Nirvana looks so angry! xD I like the red around his eyes--heck, I like a lot of the little touches y'all are giving to your wolves. I'll add him to the roster.
Good news: I am done with my reading for today. All that I really need to do before tomorrow is take a short quiz online, but other than that I should be free for the rest of the day. (Until my friends decide to drag me out to be social. Bleh.)

I'm having no luck getting on the map. All I've been getting are Bad Tokens and FH crashes. :-\
However, I have some good news. I reinstalled my game in an attempt to help fix the map, and I no longer see only African grass! I CAN ACTUALLY SEE TEXTURE!
Anyway, since we haven't, and I doubt we will, RP today, I was wondering if anyone might want to do a RP tomorrow? It's MLK day, after all. Maybe from 5:00-7:00?

Your spelling is better now, but you still have several run-on sentences and capitalization issues. I'd really like to add you to the pack, especially since you've been so kind as to offer to make us a map. Would you be willing to work with me a bit to help improve your grammar, or do you think that'd be too much trouble?
Also, I'm still not sure if I like the yellow mane. I've been letting people add little touches to their wolves, but that just seems a bit... out of place, I guess.

The only person who has posted anything about it is the author himself, so I don't know for sure how severe this trolling is. Usually, my policy on that is "ignore and report," but if it's bad enough then I'll need help finding somewhere else to roleplay.

She carefully raised her front paw and, in one swift motion, hit the bug with her paw. The bug has jumped away just in time, and Felicity ended up hitting herself. "OW!" Felicity cried. "Well, that didn't turn out exactly as planned." She thought aloud, rubbing her now sore nose.

Now, at the age of 4, he has become skilled with his powers and has grown more mature.
RP Sample: Vren sprawled out in the sunlight, relaxed. It was a warm, sunny day, and he had already eaten his fill of the deer he had caught earlier. He layed there for a bit, watching the sky, before his mouth went dry and he began getting quite thirsty. He launched himself off of the rock with a massive leap and padded toward a large puddle. Crouching down, the male lapped up some of the cool, sooting water.

@Kennedi: Was this folder a .zip file? If it was, you need to unzip it with a program like WinRAR and put the files in the right place. If you can't figure out what goes where, you can PM me a list of files in the folder, and I can tell you where to put them.

@Everyone: KillerWolf has asked to be allied with the Rune Wolves. The Asrip Clan (http://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=16719.0) is very similar to the Rune Wolves, and I've noticed that a couple of you have characters there. ;) If there aren't any objections to this alliance, I'm probably going to tell him/her yes.

~*~RP SUMMARY~*~
The Rune wolves were in peace until it began to rain. They searched out a den, for they had a Fire Rune pup with them. The pup, named Dillion, lead Nerina on a chase until they all finally found a den. The Runes gathered there in the den, and went to sleep.
Aerialis and Dillion were the first two to wake up, running off and finding a herd of wildebeest. The two end up stirring up trouble and the whole pack ends up having to save them. In the midst of the commotion, Dillion discovers his anger leads to his powers. Though he faints, Aerialis drags him down to the river to wake him up and wash off the fire that engorged his body, ignoring the flames that licked at her face.

If there's something you really need to tell/ask me, MoonWolf, then you're free to PM me at any time. I can't get on FH every day due to time constraints, but I check my e-mail (which is where I get alerts for my PM's) on a daily basis.
And great screenshots and summary, guys! That may or may not be exactly what I write for the first post, but I will definitely keep that on file. In fact, I might make a Google Docs file with all of our RP summaries so new members (and those who had to miss) can get an idea of what happens with our RP's. If anything, I'll probably make a section on the official forums for summaries and screenshots.
Finally, since MoonWolf is no longer able to make us a map, is there anybody here who can make us one? I know I've gotten several offers, but I'm WAY too lazy to flip through 30 pages to find out exactly who has offered. (And yes, Wild Territories is a great RP place, especially with the super-awesome Echo Cave, but it would be nice to have our own place where nobody can bug us.)
EDIT: Almost forgot! I was meaning to ask about season changes. Do we want to change the season on a monthly basis, in time with the real world, or as the plot demands it?
EDIT 2: Last edit, I swear. I've been talking with a couple of members who would like to make more characters. Should I remove the one-character limit? If I do, I'm thinking that only people who are active with the Rune Wolves will be allowed to make another character, and they must be able to play on them regularly. (The last thing I want is a roster full of unused alts. T_T)
EDIT 3: Oops, I lied. xXEmo_CookieXx, you need to download the markings pack that's linked in Vren's profile. (In fact, I should probably add it to the top of the roster now that I'm thinking about it...)

Let's do real-world seasons. It's always nice to have the seasons change in real life and then have them change in- game too.
And it doesn't matter to me about having multiple characters. I just feel like some characters would get neglected because one person can't be two characters at once. If both characters were really important to the rp at the time, we'd be constantly having to pretend that one was there.
If you get no offers on the map, I could probably whip up a quick one :3 I'm a preset maker, not a map maker, but it's not like I can't learn ^^
And speaking of presets, who was it that said they wanted one? I'll do it for free as long as it's not to complex. If it is complex, and I really like it, i'll do it. Odd terms I know, but you've no idea how annoying it is when you have to sit through making a complex, boring preset that just doesn't satisfy when you look at it in game.
Though we are RUNE wolves, so i'm pretty sure the designs won't be boring ^^
Because we're a pack anyone a part of it can ask, I don't mind. It's always nice to see the people you make presets for.

Personally, I think we should either change it monthly (5th Gen Pokemon style :)) or change it as the plot demands it. 4 RPs a season is plenty of time per season. If we did it in time with the RL changing of seasons, well... That's 3 months and 12 RPs per season. It would take a very long time to change seasons, and I think people might get antsy waiting for some major change in their RPs.
Personally, I think we should change the season as the plot demands it, or when people start asking for it. It allows more flexibility in the amount of RPs/season. (I think I just coined a new ratio :) )
When we change the seasons really depends on how many RPs we want per month, 12, 4, or a flexible amount.
I think you should edit the 1 character limit and make a 2 or 3 character limit. We are going to need people with multiple characters to mentor the pups, otherwise we will need to go out and recruit people willing to be mentors for pups without an adult of their element. Having a 2 or 3 character limit ensures characters don't become too inactive. I once RPed with a person RPing about.... 5 or 6 characters at a time, so with a little imagination I think we can pull off two. ;)

@pink: Okay, a few problems with your application. First, I'm not sure SoulShadow is a name a Rune Wolf would have. It's not really a rule or anything I've declared, but I kind of want to avoid Warriors-like names if I can. Second, would it be possible for you to put your specific age in your application? There's a nifty timeline in the first post that tells you about the various ages of the Rune Wolves. Also, you do need a history even if you're a pup. It doesn't have to be too complex--maybe talk about her family or how she ended up with the current group of Rune Wolves? Finally, you're missing an important part of the application that lets me know you've read the rules and information.
@xXEmo_CookieXx: The gender's in the RP sample. ;) I keep telling myself I'm gonna add "Gender" to the application, but that would require me going back and adding it to everyone's profile. And I'm lazy. :3

I just noticed that one thing that i thought wasnt there but it was so i know all lol. But before i have to talk to my mate and ask if she wants to come. I'll answer when FH comes back on. Oh and one thing. I made a wolf that looks exactly like a Rune Wolf and before i didnt have a clue about The Rune Wolves...what a coincidence eh? He looks like a Water or Ice Rune Wolf. I'm not sure cause i don't remember if it was light blue or dark blue. I'll make and application when I get a picture of him cause i didn't before. And the reason is because I have only played Fh for a day. But in that time i found a pack and got very good at roleplay.

Alicia, if your too lazy to change everyone's profile (I understand the feeling) you should put a total pack population, and the amount of males and females below it. Like:
Species Member List:
Males:2
Females:4
Total:6
(copied from my Rock Island Wolf species thread)
This way, it's much easier to figure out the male/female ratio, and the total population of the pack. The only effort you would have to put forth is the initial counting of the members, and remembering to update it when a new member joins. That way it's not necessary to put gender in everyone application (though it still would be nice...)

BTW, DJWolf, Since you like starting from the beginning (I do too), you might want to be born into the pack, like I will be. You seem to show an interest in having a sibling, and you defiantly will have one in my pup character. The only drawback is having to wait until someone is willing to have pups.

@DJWolf: Ultimately, Water or Ice would be your choice, but if you want to be an Ice apprentice then you may be out of luck. (And if you want to be a Water apprentice under Nerina, you'd have to be younger, which is possibly since Nerina's parents are very much alive.) Either way, Nerina could be your character's sister if you want--I have no problems with it. ^_^ Also, your RP sample should be in third person.

She walked around scared and lonely, when she saw two other puppies waiting in the distance. The puppies helped her survive the wild, and they are her friends now. When they got to the age of one, they started running for freedom. They got pretty fast, and loved to race against others. Then they got to a year and one half, and things started to get weird. Since they were becoming teenagers they started roughhousing and fighting over arguments, but they always got over it. The three were finally found by The Rune Wolves and they asked to join.
Roleplay Sample: Tanaka walked through the meadow, her dark fur blowing in the wind. She walked as her friends followed, and heard stomping feet. They turned around sharply to see a small group of bison. They didn't move an inch until the bison tried to attack. They started running, her sharp claws banging against the ground. She kept on hearing them following the wolves, she got an idea like the blink of an eye. She dashed into a bush, the bison not far behind. She climbed up on the top of a rock and then they passed. She jumped off the rock and said "PHEW, that could have been bad."

@~~~~Toxic~~~~COOKIE~~~~: The personality mostly needs a bit of fleshing out beyond just being short. Is she nice? Short-tempered? Does she ONLY help her friends out at dawn? (I don't know why, but that seems a tad silly to me.) And I agree with Sameth: if your account gets hacked a lot, you need to get it locked down before I can accept you into the roleplay.

If you have your parents' permission to play the game, then I don't see why it would be a problem. They will need to be aware, however, that this group does allow some swearing and violence, but it's nothing too over-the-top. (I can't make any promises for anyone outside this group, however, especially since we currently use a public map for our roleplay.)

And I just finished exams and have 5 days off, in which I am going to attempt to make a map for us. I don't really know what is that others are doing map wise, wether we have one or not, but I really want to give this a go. EDIT: Ooh, I just saw that a new writing contest is up, and I think the theme is PERFECT for the Rune Wolves. Anyone want their characters to be in it? RP Sample: Raven scurried through the tall green weeds after a Monarch Butterfly.She jumped up and snaped her jaws trying to catch it,but she was always a little late.She was soon destracted again seeing a little rabbit,she ran after in and nearly caught it when it went in it's rabbit hole.She tried to stop but she couldn't stop before half her body was inside the hole,she wiggled with all her might but she was stuck.She finnally manged to get out only to now find herself surrounded by 2 stranger wolves.Now she really wished she could still be stuck in that hole,She whined then crouched she was so scared!Then one of them nealed closer to her,she shreaked in terror but the wolf looked confused at her reaction,she whined and pleaded,"P-pwease thon't quill meh!I thon't wanna die!Not luke my family."(baby talk for ya)One of the wolves spoke to her,they said "Why would we kill such an innocent pup?Tell me what is your name?You must have a name,that may be the only thing you still have deary"raven became confussed but answered "Me nume is R-raven"She said slowly and as adult like as she could.

@Jessie Dagger: I'll need a picture for the roster. The easiest way to get one is to go into the game, press Print Screen, paste the picture into a program like Paint, and then upload it to imageshack.us. Also, your application is good, but I'm not quite sure it meets the standards for a rare... Our only other Mind Wolf hasn't shown up since she posted her app, though, so I'll think about it. ^_^

History: Fatality was born by a volcano she was always getting into trouble, and alway woundering off. When she about a week old she almost got attacked by a lioness, but her dad was there to kill the lioness and make sure she was okay.
She didnt know her perents very well, her dad most of the time was out hunting, and her mum was most of the time taking care of the pups. She began to think that her mum and dad woulndt have the time to help her out so she decided to try and learn all that she needed to know by herself. When she was out practicing her hunting skills she hurd a big bang she chose to ignor it and carry on hunting.
When she brought back a deer she found a river of lava gushing through her den, she knew the lava was really hot and she waited for it too cool, when it did she looked at the remains of the den there was nothing but rocks and her mums tooth neckless. After that day she had nothing left, so insted of facing the pain everyday she left to try and start a new life she was threatened by humans she had pichforks and knives thrown at her, she was caught at one point but she used her increasing body heat to melt the bars and run away.
She then meet a new Rune Wolf and fell in love. She found out that all the Rune Wolves joined up to make a pack, so she decided to join as she hated being alone and hated by so many humans. Fatality went to the pack to ask to join so she would be free from harm and be with Blizzard.

Hey Alicia, as I mentioned earlier in the rp, I wanted to change Dillion a bit. Just personality wise. I don't know if you noticed, but I was roleplaying differently than I had initially described Dillion in his application. So i'd like to make a few changes, If that's alright.

Just his personality ^^ That's all. And don't worry, I find once I role-play a bit with the character, I get a feel of how his personality should work. I guess 'good' and 'quiet' didn't really seem fit for a fire wolf XD
Personality: Dillion is very intelligent for his age, though he doesn't show it. He is very curious and loves to wander and explore the area around him. He prefers to be alone, as he finds other wolves to be a bit annoying. He has a few anger issues, and gets ticked off a little easily if he meets somebody he doesn't like. This can be a bad thing, for he tends to subconsciously use his powers when he is angry or feels threatened. He has a bit of an attitude and doesn't enjoy listening to his higher-ups, but he does anyway because he knows it is right. He is good hearted, with good intentions, his methods of showing it just need a little work.

@Silverdawn: RPing at 1 actually didn't turn out very well since not a lot of people showed up. I may try to host multiple RP's during the week, but I can't make any guarantees since I do have a lot of work I need to get done. (Though I know of a few people I can trust enough to host a secondary RP day without my supervision, if the need arises.)
@Stephen: Hey, don't worry about it. Real life ALWAYS comes first!
@Everyone: It's pretty much been decided that we will be changing seasons once a month. Now the main issues are:
- Are we going to age in time with the seasons, or are we going to do some weird "liquid time" thing?
- What season should we start in?

Sorry I had to go so early but the rp started kinda late and it was time to go to bed. It would be a good idea to do it on other days and maybe a bit sooner? Or I will always be able to rp for at least 1-2 hours and that isn't enough for me :-\ I just started to get into the rp and had to leave :( . After all i REALLY like this rp even in the 1-2 hours. You guys are so cool lol love to be with you more especially with Fatality ;P Love you! Btw I think Fatality made a better application than me...well maybe not the grammar but the idea was better :3

I know for me, at least, 1:00 is the earliest full hour I could plan for (church ends at noon). I think it's a good idea to have another RP day sometime during the week. Maybe Saturday? I don't know about you guys feel about 2 RP days back to back, but it's an option.

@DJWolf: I guess that's kind of the problem with widely different time zones... Like I said, I may either add a second RP day or try to clear my entire Sunday schedule so more people have time to get on and roleplay with us. That partially depends on what you guys are more comfortable with.

Also, I re-checked Fatality's application. It looks like she's done a lot of good editing, but she's still missing some important parts. I don't think I'll have much problem accepting her if she adds those. ^_^
@Silverdawn: That's definitely an option, but that partially depends on how many other people are able to get on at that time and how much work I have to do. (NEVER procrastinate in college, kids. You will want to slap yourself silly.)
@Kennedi: I did have one at first, but that was before the month-changing system was implemented. If I don't get enough people to vote, I'll just roll a 4-sided die D&D style and see where we go. xD
The only problem with the "age when you want to" system is that we'd end up with a bunch of perpetual pups while everybody else gets old. If I do use that system, I'll have to put some limits on it.

I'm still tossing around the idea of a second RP day (possibly run by somebody I can trust) to give more people a chance to roleplay with the group.

I'm not going to be able to get on the Computer at all some of Friday, all of Saturday, and some of Sunday this weekend. I'm taking a retreat with my youth group, and I don't plan on taking a computer with me.
It being president's day in the US on Monday and all, I think most people will be free on Monday? Maybe we could do a special President's Day RP? Just a suggestion.

@Kenzi: Well, I was gonna keep this a secret, but when the activity check ends, I will be adding a new rule that says that ACTIVE members will be able to add an additional character as long as they are able to be active on both characters. Also, nobody said anything about Friday roleplays. xD Fridays aren't very good for me, either, anyway...
@Laura: Technically, you're not really in the group since you don't have an approved application yet. If you want to re-apply (because I'm too lazy to go through and find your app again), feel free!

@Skywolf: I agree 100% that your health should take priority over an online game! I would feel TERRIBLE if I made anybody try to play while they were sick. I realize that not everyone lives in the U.S., but since most people who are in the U.S. have school off, we might be able to have it earlier than the end of school our time. That would make it so DJWolf could possibly be able to RP. The only problems is how to fit Canada and allergic universities into the mix...

History:[/b] Fatality was born near a volcano. She was always getting into trouble, and always wondering off. When she about a week old she got attacked by a mountain lioness, but her dad arrived just in time to kill the lioness and make sure she was okay.
She didnt know her parents very well, her dad most of the time was out hunting, and her mum was most of the time taking care of her littermates. She began to think that her mum and dad wouldn't have the time to help her out so she decided to try and learn all that she needed to know by herself. When she was out practicing her hunting skills she heard a big bang, but she chose to ignore it and carry on hunting.
When she walking back to den with a deer she found a river of lava gushing through her den, she knew the lava was really hot and she waited for it to cool, when it did she looked at the remains of the den. There was nothing but rocks and her mums tooth necklace. After that day she had nothing left, so insted of facing the pain everyday she left to try and start a new life. She was threatened by humans, she had pichforks and knives thrown at her, but at one point she was caught. She used her increasing body heat and her Rune Wolf skills to melt the bars and run away.
She then met a new Rune Wolf and fell in love. She found out that all the Rune Wolves have joined up to make a pack, so she decided to join as she hated being alone and was hated by so many humans.

Why don't we plan for Noon Eastern Time on Saturday and see how many people show up? We can decide after that since we would have an idea for how many people would show up on Saturday.
Or, if you wanted more of a scientifically correct experiment... we could schedule 1:00 P.M. Saturday and 1:00 P.M on Sunday and compare how many people show up, but that's completely up to you, Alicia.

If the rps will be held at that time I will never get to be with you all. In the end, if this happens to stick ill have to leave this rp, I have dance on those days, the ending of my classes on Sat. Is 4 and Sun. Around 5 or 6 depending on how my teacher feels that day.

Based on the RP from a couple of weeks ago, I had assumed that most people got on later in the evening. *sigh* I'm not gonna lie: I'm getting a bit frustrated with all this.

I think what we need to do is schedule a RP 5 days or so in advance until we find a time that works. This would grant us more time to work people's schedules into the RP.
Also, Alicia, I think you need to come up with a plot that will really motivate us to actually get on and RP. Something suspenseful, maybe, that will keep us wanting to RP more. If you want help, I'd be more than willing to help you if it is what it would take to get our RP really rolling.

Okay, a couple of things:
- The activity check is complete! All inactive wolves have been removed from the roster. If your wolf has been removed by accident or you would like to re-join the pack, post the name of your wolf and I will get you back up. ^_^
- We finally have a season: spring! This season will last until the end of March. Be sure to check out the "Current Plot" section for more. (And thanks to Skywolf for recommending a few plots for us to run through!)

Much better (if not incredibly simplistic), but I have three concerns:
1. The name. Yamata no Orochi is an 8-headed dragon from Japanese mythology (and a character in several anime and video games, which is where I'm convinced you got the name from). I'm not sure that fits in well with Rune Wolf naming.
2. Your grammar and spelling need improvement. I would be willing to accept you if you are willing to work on improving them.
3. You're missing a piece of information in your app.

I've come to the unfortunate realization that by waiting until after the group has gotten bigger to come up with a time, I've alienated several of our members. Parents: Mom Adurna, Dad Ternal (they are both NPC, if that means they are not actually in the rp)

Personality: A bit shy but adventurus at the same time, Demaeusa is kind and will always help out a friend. She is mischevious and very sarcastic when she is grumpy.
History: Demaeusa lived with her parents, Adurna a Water Ruse and Ternal a Fire Ruse. Her life was simple and nice, until the humans came. Adurna and Ternal, although adults, were not too experienced in the field of magic. The battle had to be fought with tooth and claw. Ternal was severly ingured and Adurna was almost killed. Demaeusa was hidden under the roots of a tree, but even that was not enough. She was taken by humans and put in a steel, cold cage. Placed at the back of a truck she would have been killed or experemented on, both horrible fates, if the truck hadn't reached a bump in the road and the cage fell off. She was rescued by the pack of Ruse Wolves, and has lived with them ever since.
RP Sample: (My favorite part!) I walked along the lake, watching the flies drift by. My paws hurt, but persistance beat pain. A soft breeze drifted by, and I stopped. This was it. I focused all my energy and... nothing. The breeze didn't go away, or stop, just stood there. Snorting in frustration, I laid down and watched Adurna, my sweet mother come running up.
"My dear... we must leave now" All my frustration went away with just that sentence.
"whats wrong mommy?" I asked, shiverring at all of the things that could go wrong. I had no idea that every thing was about to change, that I would loose my one and dearest parents and live a life of mystery, not knowing what would happen to them.
Other: I can try to make a map! It might end up beautiful, or just look like a dump. Oh well, I will try my hardest! I will try and add prey meshes, too.

Soon,they arrived a large tree. "Watch and learn!This is how to get dinner with the advantage of the Rune Power!" With that saying,he crept towards under the tree and give a few loud barks.This made the birds that were resting in the tree fly out with surprise.With a swift paw moves,Cyrillas summon a few gust of wind that disrupt the flight of the birds.Some fell down to the ground and Cyrillas end their lives with his sharp teeth."I'll help too!" shouted little Req and run into the scene.In total,they caught about five birds,just enough for a dinner.

@Exeo: I like your character, but I'm a bit iffy on having the Plant markings, even if they don't do anything... Also, if you know how to export your preset, all you have to do is upload it to a site like www.mediafire.com (http://www.mediafire.com), and we'll be able to use it. (It should be a .fhp file if it's exported correctly.)

I have no idea why, but I'm having trouble getting into Ponrosa Scape for the RP. I have something that came up yesterday, too, that I need to go to at 2:15, so even if I made it I couldn't RP for very long. I'm very sorry about how this has turned out, and I'll try my best to make it to next week's RP.

@AliciaJewel Uhh... I think you posted the wrong picture on the roster (is that whats it's called? Or is it roaster? I don't know, but still). I think you posted the picture you wanted me to change. You know, you told me to change it from brown to gray? Also, when you put the total number of Rune wolves, 7+5=12, not 11. Just wanted to point that out.

Ok, I don't think this is a very major RP, but this is what happened:
Dillion crept into Echo Cave while the pack was involved with something else, his curiosity finally getting the better of him. As he was exploring, he came across a log with a Mind Rune inside, soundly sleeping. It took a little while for her to actually wake up, but when she finally did, her first reaction was fear. She rambled on about the dangers of Echo Cave, but Dillion could care less; he wasn't scared. The mind rune grew more and more irritated, until she finally she stormed out of the log they were in to another location a ways away. Blizzard came into the cave, also, and witnessed her storming out of the log. He urged Dillion to go and apologize. He did, but she just walked away. Dillion was feeling down, what in the world had he done to make her so rude? But Blizzard once again urged him to again try. The same thing happened. He was just about to apologize for a third time when she turned and glared at him, saying effectively: "Why can't you just mind your own business?" (lol, I forgot what I said) He was just about to respond when he heard Nerina's voice call out from the entrance of the cave.

I should have told you guys a while ago, but it only now just hit me. I couldn't possibly make it to any RP this weekend, since I am going on a weekend retreat with no access to a computer.
It's sad I only just now realized it, as I have known in my head for almost 2 months now that this would happen. I suppose it just now clicked.

Guys, I'm going to be honest: I've had VERY little incentive to get on FH lately. Between the lack of actual RP that this group is doing and my real-life issues, I just feel like it isn't worth it anymore. I don't want to give up on this group, not after all the work all of us have put into it, but... I'm not sure what to do at this point.
If, for some reason, I do end up stepping down as leader, I can think of a couple of people off the top of my head who I know would make good leaders, so hopefully this group doesn't have to die completely.
And if everybody else is okay with the RP time, then sure. Have fun at your retreat, Skywolf!

History: When Ember's mother was about to give birth to her, she ran away from the pack with her husband, Creeth. She did this out of fear that she would die in front of everyone giving birth to Ember. Unfortunatly, she was right. She died giving birth to her and her husband secretly put Ember in the pack territory while everyone was sleeping, giving obvious clues that she was his. Then he ran away. Ember was raised by her mentor, Crillian, also a fire Rune Wolf. Now she is very sensitive to talk about her parents and doesn't like to look at other pups playing with their mothers or fathers. She is even sensitive to pups talking about their siblings for her mother died before she could give birth to hers.
RP Sample: Padding through the woods, being trained how to control the fire that she wanted to unleash, Ember turned to look at a butterfly. "Hmm, where are you going, little butterfly?" she asked it.
"Ember! Focus!" she heard a voice snap. Turning around, Ember saw that it was her mentor, Crillian.
"Well, sorry! I was just wondering where this butterfly might have been going! See it?" Ember turned at the leaf that the butterfly was sitting on, but only the leaf was there. Crillian sighed.
"Look, Ember," he began, "I already can feel your heat. Don't get angry with me, it will only end badly."
"Well," Ember argued, "I can't control my feelings! And anyway, I wouldn't be angry if only you could let me be myself once in a while."
"Ember, be practicle. If we don't teach you to control your fire, then you could hurt someone!" Shiro sighed again and tapped Ember on the head lightly. "Come on," he added, "let's get out of the woods, it's getting late."
"Yea," Ember addmitted, "I am kinda tired."

I'd really hate to say this after reading such an amazing app... but I'm stepping down as leader of the Rune Wolves. Between college work, people leaving left and right, lack of RP, and a simple lack of desire to get online, I just don't think I can handle it anymore.
I'm not completely closing down the group, however. You are welcome to PM me if you wish to continue the group, and I will give you permission to make a new topic. You will be allowed to use the Rune Wolf information and modify it as you wish. HOWEVER, I will only hand over leadership to someone I trust (there are two people in this group I know I would say yes to if they wanted--hopefully you know who you are), and you MUST wait to get my permission before making the topic. If more than one person is qualified for the position, I will ask you to talk amongst yourselves and see if you can work out a co-leadership. (After all, Rune Wolves are all about teamwork, right? ^_^) I'm not 100% sure what I'll do with the official forums. If the new leader wants to keep them, I'll hand over administrative privileges to them.
I may join the new group, and I may not. It will all kind of depend on various factors. *shrug*
I want to apologize again for kind of slamming this on you guys, especially the day before our usual RP day. You guys have all been a joy to roleplay with, and I hope we will meet again in the wild world of FeralHeart. If you have any questions or concerns, just shoot me a PM.

I'm happy to pass over leadership of the Rune Wolves to xXEmo_CookieXx. Before she went on hiatus, she was a great help to me and other members of the group, and I know that she'll do a good job as the new leader. xXEmo_CookieXx, as the new leader, you have my permission to make a new topic as well as use and/or modify Rune Wolf information as desired. You're in control now. (Unless, of course, you've changed your mind about wanting to be leader.)
