Title: Map portal? P.S. I'm new at this

I downloaded a map from a friend...  but when I got to The Cape, the portal wasn't there...

I'm confused, I'm pretty sure I put all the files in the right places, but it still won't work...

Did your friend click "Has Portal" while making the map?

Ask them, if they didn't, the portal wouldn't show up anywhere.

I think I figured it out...  I asked her if the .fhm  files should be there...  they weren't

I need some help. I made a map and got onto it, but now I can't get out! it keeps saying Map file Not Found! help me plz?

I think you tried to put another map portal on it.  On the first tab on the map maker, you will see 'Has Portal'.  Click on the box and then, just simply enter the destination you want the portal to be.  Make sure you are on the first tab in the map maker.

OK so instead of making another topic to ask this I'll just post it here:

I have the same problem as Brandon(portal not showing up on the cape) but I know there is a portal file because all my other group members are in the map. any suggestions?

Make sure you downloaded everything and placed the files in the right places.

I did. I've tried having all the files in the exports folder and separating them into the different media files (objects, sky, ect.)
