Hello there :3 Ive been having some problems with screen shots, Ive been trying to use F3 but all it does is change the brightness on my new computer, do you know how I can change the controls so I can in fact use F3?

Yes. Go to options and go to the controls tab. Mine does the same thing so I changed the hotkeys for views to other keys.

you have F1-12 keys inverted with the FN key, press FN at the same time you are pressing F3.

you can configure this behavior at BIOS, but I only recommend to enter at BIOS only if you know what are you doing.
