Title: Downloaded Maps?
Post by: artistgrl8 on November 26, 2011, 08:48:31 pm: OK, I joined a group, and downloaded the map. Normally, I take the map file/folder, and put it in the 'Exports' folder. So, that's what I did, but the portal to go there does not show up in the Cape of Distant Worlds. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if there is something wrong with the map. Can someone help me, please?

Go into the file/folder copy the FHM (the map) and put it into terrians you can find it in Cdrive>FeralHeart>Media>Terrains

Place ALL the FHO (the objects) Into objects you can find it in Cdrive>FeralHeart>Media>Objects

and if there are any FHW or FHS place the FHW into weather -> Cdrive>FeralHeart>Media>Weather and place the FHS into sky -> Cdrive>FeralHeart>Media>Skys

Post by: artistgrl8 on November 27, 2011, 03:48:10 pm: I did this, but there were two extra things, something with .material and .terrain . The portal did not show up, but I'm going to re-download the map and try it again.

Note: I am on a Mac, using the Mac version of FH.

Added- All the the things in the map file are .cfg I can't talk to the map's creator, I haven't seen them online.

If you have downloaded the map again and if it still does not work Try uninstalling fh then installing it again.If it still does not work say and i will find out how to help

They are all in exports? c/feralheart/exports?

Can you post a screenshot of your exports file for me?

You extracted the zip file, right?
