In the days of the original clans, the warriors had prospered and times were not as hard as they once were, and peace was in the land. Then, before their very eyes, their home was destroyed. The twolegs had taken over the clan's territories and made more of their twoleg nests, and the cats were forced to disband and flee. Some resorted to the soft lives of kittypets, some left never to return, and many did not make it at all. But some remaining cats who still held the traditions and laws of the warriors found each other after the devistation of loosing their home and went in search of a new place to restore the clans. It didn't matter that they were from different clans, all that mattered was survival. After traveling many moons, they finally found sanctuary in a deep forest, with an abunance of prey and some similarities to their old home - FourTrees, plenty of places to make camps, and they found a cave to keep the remaining pieces of the Moonstone they had recovered before the humans had destroyed it all. The remaining warriors prospered, and eventually split into different clans. Life would never be the same, but life could only be determined by StarClan, who had always been and always be there.

Plot
After the twoleg's destruction of the old clans, the new ones have broken into their groups and go searching for new territories. With no luck and with numbers of surviving cats so few, StarClan has given this prophecy to every medicine cat in every clan:
One clan alone cannot live
Together they will survive
The medicine cats have alerted his own leader and declared that the clans must join if they are to live. Reluctantly, the clans have joined together in a small clearing, each clan with his own camp with dens made out of whatever they could find. They have put the moonstone in a cracked rock in the middle of a small pond in camp. Though joined together, the clans fight constantly, angering StarClan. The StarClan warriors have sent a rain to constantly beat down on the cats as punishment. To the warriors in each clan, it seems like if they follow StarClan's prophecy, they will only rip each other to shreads rather than survive.
To solve the problem, the clan leaders have agreed to have two warriors from each clan scout outside of camp to find places for the clans to live. They also have issued an order for this time to be peaceful, meaning that no warrior could kill or harm another clan's warrior, or the punishment is exile. Even with this agreed law, tensions still rise from the constant rain, making the clearing a cold, wet, hostile place.
The Clans
LeafClan
Clan Leader: Smokestar
Ingame Username: GamerGirl
Clan Strengths: LeafClan is very good at climbing trees and catching prey. They are very strong-willed warriors and good fighters.
Clan Weaknesses: LeafClan warriors are not good at swimming. In fact, they hate water. The only water they tolerate is the small stream that runs through their territory, which they use for drinking only. They do not do well in very open areas, and tend to stay in the forest.
Extra information: LeafClan consists of all female warriors. They get more warriors by accepting lone she-cats into the clan or, if they're desperate, stealing kits from other clans to raise as their own. They are fierce fighters who are able to concentrate on the care of their clan because there are no males in the clan to distract them. They look on all toms as threats, and will attack if provoked by one. They will fight other females from other clans, too, if necessary.
Where this clan lives: The LeafClan camp is in a small glade found deep in the forest, some of the dens and lookout posts are in the trees. A small stream runs by the camp, creating a small waterfall that pours into a pond. The dens are made of reeds, grasses, and leaves. A small training ground can be found outside the camp to train apprentices.
MountainClan
Clan Leader: Dartstar
Ingame Username: Justice
Clan Strengths: MountainClan is known for their rock hard paw pads. They feel hardly any pain when stepping on sharp rocks or even glass if they come across it. MountainClan of course lives in the mountains and are known for living off chinchillas mostly, although they have a keen eye for catching birds as well. They also deal with deep snow pretty well.
Clan Weaknesses: MountainClan is awful at swimming. They know how to paddle but they don't know how to stay a-float well enough. They are also bad at grooming their fur. Since they live in the mountains, they tend to not be bothered by mud or other gross things. They live more rugged lives.
Extra Information: MountainClan can catch birds well by leaping off mountains. They climb as high as they can go and then the bird flies by, they will leap out and push the bird to the ground, killing it.
Where this clan lives: MountainClan of course lives in the mountains. They dwell inside cracks that the mountains provide.
BushClan
Clan Leader: Cinderstar
Ingame Username: Jessie Dagger
Clan Strengths: BushClan warriors are good fighters, swim well, see well in the dark, are good at healing themselves, and are fast.
Clan Weaknesses: Most of the cats don't have good stamina, and they hunt well, but they don't do it often.
Extra Information: Most of the cats in BushClan are taller and faster than normal cats.
Where this clan lives: Bushclan lives in a fairly big camp and has a wide territory of open plains. The leader has a rock to announce things to the clan and the dens and nests are made out of mud, grass, and bushes. The medicine cat den has two places for the med. cat and their apprentice, plus a place to keep patients and herbs.
MarshClan
Clan Leader: Stormstar
Ingame Username: DINOSAUR215
Clan Strengths: MarshClan cats can swim well, run swiftly, and sneak around as easily as a fox.
Clan Weaknesses: This clan cannot climb trees well, and they cannot smell as well as most other cats due to the thick air in their swampy home.
Extra Information: MarshClan has an abundance of toms, but they will accept she-cats. They tend to be very aggressive to intruders. The only loners and rogues they accept are aggressive like the rest of the clan, because their leader belives that a clan will aggressive cats will better survive than those who aren't.
Where this clan lives: MarshClan tends to live in swampy areas, their camp only has dens for every rank except for warriors, who sleep outside due to their leaders belief that if they sleep in outside, they will be quicker to protect the camp if intruders attack the camp.
Rules
1) All Clans must obey all the Feral Heart rules and the Warrior Code (the code is loose because in roleplay cats can disobey and break the code, but it is recommended you stick to it). Kittypets, loners, and rogues do not have to obey the Code but must still obey the Feral Heart rules.
2) All characters in the roleplay must be literate. If you do not know how to be literate or what it means, leave now.
3) I will not tolerate map stealers or map claimers. The map is made by GameGirl (me) and no one else. If someone says otherwise, please PLEASE take a screenshot and send it to me.
4) Only approved clans, members of those clans, and members of the roleplay playing as kittypets, loners, and rogues are allowed in this map. If I have found that anyone has been giving out the map link, you will be removed from the map. No exceptions.
5) When requesting to join the roleplay, please have the word "picklejuice" somewhere in your application.
6) Only original characters and clans are allowed. This means that the clans and characters and their names in the book series by Erin Hunter are not allowed. Be creative and come up with your own clan! There are many possiblities out there, and its more fun for everyone if things don't stick to the books. The only clan from the book that exists is StarClan.
7) No godmodding, powerplaying, autohitting, or perfect characters. Also, no killing or seriously wounding another person's character without their permission.
8) Please no sexual or super gorey content. Descretion and maturity, that's all I'm asking.
The Warrior Code
1) Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2) Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3) Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may not eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4) Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5) A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6) Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after recieving their warrior name.
7) A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8) The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9) After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10) A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11) Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12) No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13) The word of the Clan leader is the Warrior Code.
14) An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the Warrior Code or it is necessary for self-defense.
15) A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Leader - The leader of the clan who are the only cats to recieve nine lives from StarClan. Leaders are strong, wise cats, and being one required great sacrifice, but also includes great reward.
Deputy - A clan's second-in-command, deputies take on the responsibilities of the leader when they are not present. Deputies are mostly in charge of maintaining the camp when the leader is away and organizing/leading patrols.
Medicine Cat - This cat is in charge of maintaining the clan's store of medical herbs and keeping the cats in the clan healthy and in condition to fight or protect the clan. Medicine cats are also the bridges between their Clan and StarClan. They recieve prophecies from StarClan to help their clan, particularly in times of trouble. Medicine cats are not allowed to have mates or kits.
Medicine Cat Apprentice - A medicine cat may, but does not have to, train an apprentice to take over their duties as medicine cat if they retire or die. They do the exact same things medicine cats do, but are under the supervision of their mentors until they are ready to become the new medicine cat.
Warriors - Warriors make up the bulk of the clan. They are there to run patrols, hunt for food, fight enemy clans when needed, and protect the clan from danger. Though most cats in the clan are warriors, they are a very honored position in the clan, and are treated with respect.
Queens - Queens are mostly the mates of toms in the clan who concieve and take care of kits. They spend most of their time in the nursury taking care of them, and they often share shifts so all the queens can get out and rest before resuming their duties. If one gives birth to a litter, all the queens take up responsibility of taking care of them.
Apprentices - This rank is for kits who have lived for at least 6 moons. Once they reach that point, they gain their apprentice name and get a mentor (a warrior). They are then taught by their mentor, who teaches them to hunt, patrol, and fight.
Kits - Kits are the next generation of the clan. They are taken care of by the queens until they reach 6 moons, then the go on to be apprentices.
Elders - Elders are the older, wiser members of the clan. They offer their advice when its needed, and are very eager to tell stories from long ago.

Kittypets - Kittypets are cats who live soft lives in Twoleg Place. They are the housepets of humans, and do not go into the forest often. Most do not know about warriors, and the curious kittypet who strays into the forest will probably come running back into its twoleg nest after encountering a warrior.
Loners - Cats who have wandered into clan territory are called loners. They may or may not be clanborn, but most are open to joining a clan. Some prefer just to live alone, but if a clan scents a loner, they will chase them out of their territory.
Rouges - Warriors that have been exiled from their clan are concidered rouges. Rogues usually cause trouble for all clans, but on rare occasions, rogues can be helpful to rival clans. They will often give information about their former clan's plans, which makes them sometimes important assets. Most of the time, they were exiled for a reason, so most are not trustworthy. Sometimes, if another clan lets them, they will join a new clan.

Where does your clan live?:We live in a huge camp with a big territory.The camp has the leader den on top of a easy-to-get-to perch (like a pride rock for meetings or something only smaller and a smaller cave for the leader with grasses and bushes for the nest please.)All the dens have brushes,grasses,and indiviual nests made from those two things.The medicine den has places for the patients ontop a bed-like thingy.It has herbs and the two dens inside it(one for the apprentice and the other for the medicine cat.)Our dens are made from earth (they need to look like they are mud).We live inside a tunnel though,but do not confuse us for a Tunnelclan!
If this is to complicated let me know and please let me test it out first even if its WIP!

History/Personality: Dartstar grew up in the mountains. His parents were the leaders of a rouge cats group. They worked like a normal clan does, hunting for elders, teaching kits to become warriors, but they didnt follow the warrior codes or ways at the time. After his parents passed away, it was left to Dartfoot(at the time) to lead the group.
RP Sample: (literate, please!) Dartstar had climbed the highest mountain in his groups territory. So far, him and his father had been the only ones to climb it. In stories, Dartstars father would talk about Stoneclaw, Dartstar's grandfather, and how Stoneclaw would travel millions of miles, just to climb different mountain ranges. @TheLastWingedWolf - Please fix up your application a bit to be a tad more literate, I don't think I'll be too picky with your application. Also, (just wondering :P) Did you intend to give your she-cat a male name? Did you mean 'Alexandria' or 'Alexa'? Or is it really Alexander, I just wanted to make sure :) Also, I'm assuming she's a kittypet? Very good application, but you may want to read the rules again.
@Jessie Dagger - I liked your application as well, but it needs to be revised a bit to be more literate. I am a little pickier about my leaders :P Also, you might want to look at the rules again too. And, I'm sorry to tell you, you'll have to change Nightstar's name. There is a Nightstar in the Warriors book series and I don't want anyone to think you're playing a canon character. If you need help choosing a new name, look in the helpful link link I posted above where all the group's info is. I added a Warriors name generator that should help you name your cat if you need help! And though you don't know any weaknesses your clan has, please come up with one or two. Think hard!
@Claire - I loved your application! You would pass with flying colors.... but you need to check out the rules as well :)

Smokestar can be very protective of his clan if they are in any sort of danger.
Silly
He is a very playful cat; he loves to dance, go hunting and spazz about.
Slightly Hesitant
With cats he doesn't know, he's usually a little hesitant about approaching them but he's quick to warm up to them if they are accepting of him.
Fatherly
Smokestar cares a lot about any kits left under his care.
Non-Agressive
Smokestar does not like fighting or violence incharacter.. Usually he will try his best to disrupt and break up any fights that occur. However, if his family and friends are in danger, he will make a stand.
Logical
As time goes on, Smokestar is slowly becoming more open and is trying to think about things logically.
Reliable
He's a cat you can rely on if you want him to do something. He'll usually carry out a task without a fuss.
Stubborn/Doesnt adapt well
Depending on the severity and type of situation, Smokestar can be incredibly stubborn and wont take it well. For example, Smokestar freaked out when Starclan first sent him a message.
Friendly/Welcoming
Smokestar is very approachable when it comes to other cats seeking company or a playmate. He won't say no to a random conversation.
RP Sample: The smoke-pelted tom pushed his way through the bracken. "Hello?" he said, voice echoing about in the mist. No reply answered. Smokestar yowled another "Hello?, louder than before. Still, no reply came. Smokestar dare not speak out; he knew this was an odd dream. He continued to trek through the undergrowth before bumping into a soft, warm pelt.

Raine, I really liked your application :) Very nice. And you had picklejuice! 8D But, just me, I think you're clan should be a little milder than what it is now. I don't think any one of the clans should be completely evil, like DarkClan is. If you could tweak it some and change the name, that would be awesome. And I'm fine with your cat's personality, but if you could make the name more like something a queen would name her kit (even though Killerstar named himself). I suggest using the warrior cat name generator on the front page of this thread. :)

If you would like some ideas for clan names, I suggest SwampClan, StoneClan, BogClan, MarshClan, or MistClan. And I'd rather your cats not be able to 'easily kill warriors etc.' Thank you :)

@Courtney - I think I have found all the meshes I am planning to use, but if you want to make some meshes of anything, feel free to do so. :) I thought maybe some cool mountain tunnels for your clan would be cool, and a big, climbable tree for the LeafClan camp would be nice, if you do want a project to work on. The drawn map should be up soon, I finished inking it today.

Well I was kinda thinking you could have a set of cliffs, and it could be something like "Rouges creek"? I don't really know, maybe stick a few bridges in and have a river running underneath the canyon styled thing.

Zyru sighed to himself as he looked across the ashed land that almost seemed translucent against the moonlight. Had this really happened? Had he just seen Roux his own brother kill their mother, and what of his dear sister, Kila? Did Roux finish her off too? Maybe it was a good thing the fire gripped his home in its fiery grasp. He was glad that he hadn't had to speak with Roux. The brute thought back to the moment he saw the fire peak from over the ridge. It's vibrant flames lashed against the trees, though it seemed like it was dancing with the sun and working with the wind. How beautiful it had been. Yet... It left a trail of death. And blackness that now consumed what had been his home.
More questions flooded his mind. /Why did Roux come back..? And why didn't I smell the fire?/ This seemed curious. Too curious.
The black male stood up and stepped back a few paces. You could see where the fire had stopped. It looked at though someone had drew a fine line where the darkness quickly changed into greenery. Zyru closed his eyes and stepped forward. After a few minutes had passed he opened them, the silver light descending from them gave away no more emotion from before as he stalked forward toward the burn. His paws secured into place at the border of the grass and ash. He wanted to know what it felt like, to touch it. What did darkness and death feel like? Or was it really death? The fire had seemed to alive as it spread across the forest. /Why did it stop?/ He wondered.

History: Dreamfrost was quiet as a kit and mostly stayed away from others. She is blind in one of her eyes and she has a chunk ripped out of her ear. Over the moons she had lived, she longed to be a medicine cat. She watched the older medicine cat very closely and got along well. She was eventually named Dreampaw and assigned the medicine cat as her mentor (she had spoken to the leader beforepaw) and spent all day sorting herbs, collecting herbs, treating sick cats. She loved it. But then a dreadful day happened... the medicine cat died short after she was given her name. In her honor, Dreamfrost sorted the herbs just like the old medicine cat did. From that day, she vowed to be just like the old medicine cat. For her. For the Clan.
Personality: Soft voice, and kind to clan mates. She is also swift and quiet. When a battle occurs, first thing she does is run to the nursery to guard the kits, and attacks anyone who comes close to the nursery.
Rp sample: Dreamfrost was sorting her herbs she had just gathered when she heard tiny squeaks and scuffling. She flicked her ear and turned her head, only to see two kits roll, literally, into the medicine den. "Hello little ones," she purred, muzzle curling into a sweet smile. "Hi Dreamfrost!" One squealed, batting the other with its tiny paw. Dreamfrost stifled a chuckle as she walked over to them. "You two, I know you're having fun, but I would like it if you didn't interrupt me. I just gathered herbs and want to sort them just right," she meowed, flicking her tail to the loose cobwebs lying on the moss of her den. "Awwwww, okay!" Said the other kit, who was trying to kick off the other one. They hopped up and scrambled out of the den. Dreamfrost sighed, smiling, and shook her head. She meowed, "Those two will make great warriors." Then got back to her herb sorting.

Then you better hide for a while. He handles pressure well. It gives him an extra push to get things done. Overall a friendly cat who will have your back.
RP Sample: Reedgaze pushed the extra rubble outside his den to the side. His eyes rested on his stock. Satisfied with his piles, he peeked his head out of the crack he resided in. It went back pretty far, but it was too dark in the back. He felt like staying out in the open. The sun was quite nice today. Inhaling, the medicine cat slipped his gaze to the two 'paws wrestling in the center of camp. Reedgaze gave a laugh and leaned on the side of the rock. The Clan had been peaceful for a while now, he hoped it stayed this way.

RainFire woke up from her nightmare, jerking her head up with a start, bumping her head on the roof of the stump she was sleeping in for the night. She looked out the entrance, stood, and walked out, doing another night patrol. She sniffed the air, catching a whiff of kittypet. She felt where the wind was blowing, to RainFire, she crouched, and stalked forward. She caught sight of a white fur, it trying to catch a mouse. She smiled, she had the upper hand. She pounced, but the kittypet already saw her, it ran off. She smiled, and continued to patrol.

History/Personality: Was a loner at first and joined when was young. Before icepaw joined her mother an father died of a disease (rabies) that drove them insane. Is sweet tempered mostly but if tempted can be aggressive. Deep blue eyes pertain to the legend of the white and black sprits in each species (see comic off-white). She will kill to defend her clanmates and knows whats right from using common sense.
RP sample(literate of course): Icepaw lay in a bush licking a small wound on her tail. As she finished cleaning it she couldnt help but remember that horrid night when her parents chased her with foam in their mouths. She went back to check on them but they were dead, and the smell of sickness kept her from getting closer. Icepaw crept out of the bush and sniffed the air. Two fox cubs had chased her for fun and given her the wound on her tail.
"Well now where to go..." ,she whispered to herself as she padded toward thick trees. She would find a new home, and hopefully sh would not be driven out again.

Sorry that I haven't been on in a while, guys! It's been crazy busy with the holidays and such. I hope you'll understand :)
Also, I think it would take a very, VERY long time for me to finish the map (due to my overactive imagination, darn it!). Soooo, I could do one of the following:
-Just roleplay for a VERY long time in the temporary map.
-Have someone make the map to the best of their ability using the map on the front page as a guide.
-Postpone the roleplay until it can be reopened with the map.
-And any other suggestions you might have :3
Please give me your input! I'm very interested in finding out what would work out for everyone!

Everybody, lately I have been having troubles with viruses I have been recieving from the Feral Heart Forum (or at least the ads) and from Mediafire (I use it to upload and download maps and presets). I don't know if I will be able to play as often or even at all, so please stand by for more updates. I am really sorry if I can't work all this out, but before I declare myself done with the game, I will try my best to keep the group going and get rid of this virus problem!

The the current medicine cat had entered, so Skypaw hid in a clump of herbs. She had watched the medicine cat mix herbs and give them to her denmate. The combination of the herbs interested her, made Skypaw want to learn more. Before she was apprenticed, Skypaw had asked the leader if she could become medicine cat apprentice. From that day on, Skypaw has always been enthusiastic on becoming the best medicine cat apprentice she could be.
RP Sample: The dark brown-and-white dappled medicine cat apprentice stood crouched over a newly made warrior. The warrior had been asked to go on a patrol to a nearby barn where rats had been scented. The rats had attacked the patrol and this tabby warrior was a victim. Herb names raced through Skypaw's head. "Juniper leaves?" She thought. "No...that's for bellyaches." Suddenly, the herb named exploded into her head. "Burdock root! How could I have forgotten?" Skypaw rushed over to the herb storage and sniffed out the tangy-smelling root. She popped it into her mouth and started to chew fiercely on it. She spat the rather bitter tasting root out and smoothed the poultice onto the warrior's rat bite. Finally, Skypaw applied a nice, thick covering of cobwebs to stop the bleeding. "That should do it" The dark brown-and-white dappled she-cat thought with a smile of satisfaction.

Riddlepaw is a very rude, and aggressive cat, she says what she thinks and can lie easily, there is one problem with trying to find her when she goes missing though, because she smells like a chilled breeze, so you don't know if she is behind, or beside you.
