Seems that some users are running the patch just fine ;) Others are still experiencing lag and drops, but this could be because of: "Major bug fix! Server might go down more then usual 'cause I'm fixing all the bugs that's been bugging everyone," Kovu.

If you weren't already aware, FH is having some difficulties at the moment.
It'll require you to download the new patch 1.1, but from what I've heard there are flaws which cause lag and various glitches.
You may be able to get in game and have it working, but it may glitch out. We're assuming this is because of the new patch.
There is no solution at the moment. In the meantime I suggest we all wait patiently for the Mods to resolve the problem. :)

I was looking for the latest patch and started to read around the forums to get answers and I got one. =)
Thank you for giving us the heads up. I went into downloads and seen no upgrade either. maybe they took it off because of the glitches?

It is still there, they didn't change the number on the list (probably because they forgot how to update for patches it's been so long). I tried downloading it and playing from a custom map. Seems there have been control changes, but that is all I could surmise from it, as the lag in an empty custom map was too much for the game.

Well, just to tell you. I can't enter fluorite anymore if I don't come out of Ficho tunnel, I simply can't start when I'm already in fluorite. I'm also unable to come out of Cape , entering there fluorite, also not possible. My chars are lost now if they aren't in a map :/

Thanks for the help Sameth. Do you think we should download it and then wait for it to get fixed or just wait on the download until we get some answers?
I may want to download FH+ have not done that yet. any good things you can give me for FH+?

Hmm I downloaded the patch but now my computer keeps saying "FeralHeart has stopped working" I'm guessing this is to do with the patch and feral heart issue. Should I just wait and try later? Bearing in mind though that my char is in Fluorite...Maybe it's just fluorite as others have to same issue :/

XD Did you read my post? lol Yes, waiting's all we can do for now until the mods get on this issue.

I haven't downloaded anything myself, but if you read through other threads the glitches range from not starting the game to colour changing skies... If all of that is related to the patch, I'm not sure, but we do know that there's something wrong with it and until it's fixed we can't really know what all happening.

Right now the game wants you to download the new patch, but the patch is not working properly. You're going to have to wait until it's fixed. Shouldn't be too long. ;)

Unfortunately I have neither the skills nor the authorization to fix the patch. It doesn't seem like any Mods are on the forums at the moment either. All we can do is wait, which I'm sure you can do. I have class to attend, essays to write, books to read, games to play, presets to make...

The Patch is working okay for me, the only thing I am experiencing is FH randomly shutting down and a pop-up saying it has a problem, nothing more than that.
I would wait until a moderator/admin gets in control of this, until then, I would leave it.
Also, Kovu did say that there servers will be down more due to him fixing the bugs (In-game news banner).

I'm going to try and get it :I First ofcourse making a backup of my original FH folders and files elsewhere to be on the safe side. If anything happens I'll let you know and screenie any errors I get. Maybe it'd help figure out what the problem is x'3

Maybe they'll be getting the group delete glitch fixed, I hope so o;
Custom maps load fine so far. No problems with those. Cape loads fine, Flourite is fine. Making my way to the other maps x3

Hmm, I'm not touching it until things are fixed up. Keep this thread posted if you notice any improvements. ;)

*pokes my edited post* c: Checking the other maps now but Cape and FLourite are fine. Couple of bad tokens and conencting issues but I'm there. No lag on my end.
Edit:
Ficho is fine as is Bonfire. I haven't tried FH+ yet though, but as of now FH looks perfectly normal and fine to me. A few things look different with the menus and the text looks neater, but other then that no changes.
Getting a couple "Cannot conenct to map server.." :I but yes other then that, no lag, no glitches. Nothing on my end

A friend of mine and I are both having issues where it's still telling us to download the patch, when we've already installed it. And another friend says there's an Equip feature or something... o_O Whaa?

Weird.. o-o Did you get the download or torrent? I don't do torrents soo- I did the normal download and it worked fine. What sort of update? I can't see anything new lol

Yep, I got it working now. For some reason the torrents didn't work for me, but the direct download did.

If you go to Official Downloads it'll be there, but it's still marked as version 1.09.

Not sure what that's about... ._. But if you can't even begin to download I would think that would have something to do with your computer, not the actual download.

I know but I just restored it to new and everything. Like all info was wiped it can't have problems.

Have you tried downloading via torrent instead? (Torrents didn't work for me, but other people used it....)

As far as I know, nothing has been added, but we're still waiting on more updates to what Kovu's doing as far as fixing bugs...

still not working for me. ^^ I can log in but all my chars are stuck in the maps and it keeps shutting down the game when I try to play. I will wait later tonight to get on and try again.

its not for me when I log in it works but when I try to get my characters and go into Bonfire it randomly closes down

Mhmm, those sort of issues will probably continue for a bit.

I had the same issue. Try direct downloading it instead of using the torrent, or vice versa. Or try the game download instead of the patch (make sure to backup - it shouldn't do anything to your files, but -shrug-).

To those of you that are still lagging, do you mean FPS (frames per second) lag or net lag? If it's FPS, make sure your game is running in Direct3D mode in Options > Video > Rendering Subsystem. If it's on OpenGL like mine reverted back to in the patch update then it will FPS lag like crazy. If it's net lag that's not due to FH.
If you still can't get your patch to work even after using the installer then try this. Install it into your documents when you are asked where to install. Then go to your documents and copy everything within the patch folder. Go to your Feral Heart folder, paste, and click yes to overwrite on everything. This absolutely ensures that you are patched and, considering I'm in the game now with no issues, I've confirmed this works.
If you still have a problem, then it may be some sort of mod or secondary file that's possibly causing it. I don't know, that is mere speculation. I would recommend backing up your current FH folder to save any mods and trying a clean install.
It also seems the patch is still being worked on and updated? So while it may work for one hour it may not work for the next. It's hard to say.

ok, so I downloaded the Torrent version of the game (had the normal download version) and realized that the torrent patch does not have the 1.1 version. (tried logging in and the game told me to get the updated patch) I had to download the normal download to have it log me in and I still get shut down when I try to play the game. I'm out of ideas on how to get on until they fix this glitch for everyone.

Not trying to be a troll or anything but the new patch messed up the whole game to me yeah I see how FH can be better without the glitches and stuff but I think id rather have glitches then to have my FH game crash EVERYDAY
