Title: How do you install the patch?

I feel like such a noob o3o I've done it before but don't remember, how do you install it?

Go to Official Downloads (http://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=23&Itemid=40) and download the patch. Then run it and install! ;)

It doesn't seem to work for me either... I downloaded it, and went to install it, and it seems to keep saying something along the lines of some files won't allow access I think? and the Torrent just didn't have any effect on the game at all.

You not having access is an administration problem on the computer. You must be allowed to write/read files in which the location you install the game to, otherwise it wont work.

I just went along with the installation and put it in the C:FeralHeart folder. I didn't what else I'd put there, I suppose I can be a bit stupid with these things sometimes.

Make sure you're using FH, not FH+.

*sigh* I tried to do as you say but nothing is working....I miss playing with my freinds, is there any advice you can offer?

I am using FH. How can I tell if that folder is read/write-able? Maybe I should install it somewhere else?

You right click and choose properties on the folder in which the game is installed to, there should be a tab there that lets you look your permissions over that folder.

You should get logged on the administrator account of the computer, that usually solves most issues. Not sure if you've tried yet, but also right click the FH installer and run the installer as administrator.

If still no luck, yes.. you should try to install the game someplace else like possible

C:\program files\feralheart

Or something
