Title: California Strays- Stray Dog Rp!

Welcome to the California Strays stray dog rp!

Rules
1. No powers or magical abilities.  Please be as real as possible.
2. No descriptive mating or births.
3. No godmodding, powerplaying, etc.
4. Maximum of 3 characters.  No more please.
5. No wolves/wolf hybrids.  Real dog breeds only.
6. No fighting in OCC, when caught, you will be warned.  If problem persists, you will be asked to leave the rp.
7. No text talking.
8. Drama is encouraged, but only in rp.
9. No mating with yourself, the rp gets boring if everybody were mates with themselves.
10. If a character doesn't like your character, please remember that it's just rp.  No hard feelings.  Got it?
11. Have fun and I'm sorry for so many rules!

Plot
The setting of the rp is in California.  It is filled with people, has long beaches and a big city with plenty of alleys.  Can you survive life as a stray?

Name: Frost
Gender: Female
Age: 2 1/2
Breed: White German Shepherd
Personality: Frost is known to have a temper.  She can be really mean, but if you get to know her, you will see the real Frost.  She is a caring, kind-hearted, loving German Shepherd that won't let her past go.
History: Frost was born in an abusing family.  Her master hit and beat her every time she did something wrong.  Frost grew mean and bit her master every time he hit her, which caused more beating and soon, a trip to the pound.  She was kept in the pound and was adopted by a family, but because of what her master did to her, she would shy away every time the kids would try to pet her.  Then, once again, she was back in the pound.  Her first master re-adopted her, but once a kid in the neighborhood went missing, Frost was accused and beaten more.  She was able to escape and ran far from the house, traveling from Kings County to Orange County.  She traveled through the back alleys and found a little paradise right on the beaches of Orange County.

History: He lived with a small family, two adults that are married and two kids. When they decided to move to Kansas, some people accidently screwed up, and sent Ben and his cage to California.

She was soon kicked out out the house, literally. The most recent of her wounds are critically infected, and she can hardly find food to eat, much less travel around.

Arisa wondered on the streets until some man picked her up and took her home. He trained her to be a fighting dog, even though she tried to get out of those arenas and not fight. She would always get beaten by him so she ran away. She had 1 more abusing owner, so she decided, No more pet life.

-A snow white frame was spotted trotting through the back alleys, heading toward the sandy beaches of San Diego.  A slight rumble echoed the alley.  The fae rolled her eyes and rammed into a trash can, picking out what little scraps there were.-  "For such a big place there's hardly any food left.  The pigs."  -The German Shepherd growled and wolfed down the half eaten cheeseburger.  Frost then continued her journey to the beach where she could relax under the shade of a palm near the road or wash the dirt and mud from her ivory pelt.  A few barks exited her muzzle before she crossed the busy roads and leaped onto the boardwalk heading to the beach.-

A shadow was cast onto the board walk as a thin feminine looking Husky jogged down one of the many board walks on the San Diego Beach. She hopped over the stairs skipping them as Sand flew through the air as she landed. She made her way to a large palm tree by the sand dunes and laid in the shade. She sighed and laid against the tree watching the waves roll over the sand. `Am I the only dog?` she thought . she had never really seen any other dogs in the alleys or the beaches her life other than tamed dogs with families. she rolled her eyes at the thought.

-Frost quickly made her way onto the beach and to the water's edge.  She looked around and leaped into the water.  After a little while of swimming around in the salty ocean, Frost retreated to a towering palm tree with a large shade cast on the ground.  The large dog plopped down and sniffed the air.  Salty ocean water, humans, along with human food, and...another dog?  Frost looked around and pin-pointed that the dog was in the sand dunes, but she positions her head onto her large, sore forepaws.-

Grace sighs as the salty wind began to make the palm tree sway she lifted her head sniffing the air. She smelt the sand, the water, food, and another dog. she perked her head up looking around the finally found the german shepard laying against a tree like her. She watched as the dog looked at her and laid down. Grace sat the but let out 2 friendly barks.

The beagle pomeranian dog walked down a street, being laughed at by some of the dogs that were being carried in purses and by their owners. "Hey, well, strays have feelings, too!" Ben snapped at some of them. The pets replied with a sarcastic, "Oooh! I'm so scared."
Ben then walked by a TV store, which had some Bridgestone commericals on it. He then started laughing when a screaming squirrel commericial came on. He then decided to keep moving, since he didn't want to keep looking at commercials all day long. He then went over to a beach, where some strays were hanging out. He didn't want to talk to them that day.

Kylie was walking down the streets when she noticed a brown, black, and white male dog laugh at a TV, then walk to the beach. He looked kind of interesting to her, so she decided to follow him. She then sat down next to him and said to him, "Hi."

Grace watched as two more strays walked by. She became nervous and growled low in her throat. she didn't like being around too many dogs because of her past. Her Aphrodite side usually stayed quiet but sometimes it came out. She looked around nervously as she shifted her legs under her nervously.

((Sorry yall.  I had to go earlier cuz I had to clean and cook for Christmas dinner.))

-Frost picked her head up and barked back to the husky.  She watched as two more dogs walked to the beach.  She stood up and sighed.  Pawprints led back to the water's edge, where you could find Frost pouncing around in the water after small fish.  Her gaze then took to the horizon, where the big, red-orange sun began to set.  Four barks and a loud sigh escaped her muzzle-  "I need to find somewhere to stay the night."

Grace stood watching the dog go to the water. She sighed and barked again at her wagging her tail. Grace never did get along with little dogs since she only fought with larger dogs she was only used to the larger ones. She jogged towards the other dog. She wagged her tail `Hello, I am grace` she smiled

Grace hopped out into the water. She wasn't looking to make friends but she didn't want enemies either. She let the water clean the sand from her fur as her many scars showed. You could never see her scars unless she was wet. The only one you could see was her ear which was slightly torn.

-The German Shepherd stared at the husky.  She noticed all the scars, but didn't ask about them.  She was lucky her fur didn't show the bad scars around her body.  She looked back out at the horizon to see only about half of the sun was visible.-  "Well, nice meeting you Grace.  I better go on and find somewhere to sleep.  I hardly ever sleep in the same place twice."  -Frost sighed and exited the water.  While standing on the edge of the water, Frost shook the water from her pelt, slinging salt water everywhere.  She trotted up the beach, the sand clinging to her wet paws.  She darted for the alleys and after searching about three, she found a large enough cardboard box that she could fit in.  She crawled in for the night and barked a few times before settling down and sleeping.-

Grace watched the female leave. She growled low as she left knowing she saw her scars. `Why do all dogs have to notice my scars first? It is rude to stare` she thought as she walked onto land she shook her fur out as it dried to it's thick self again. She walked along the board walk as the moon slowly rose the warm night air blew her fur around. She kept her head down as she thought about her past. She stopped and looked up as a little kid sat outside playing with his dog. The dog barked and wagged it's tail. The boy laughed and let the dog inside as he followed it. Grace felt her ears fall against her head. she growled as she turned and found a garage that was open as she made her way in she laid on the cold concrete floor and fell asleep.

-As the rose high in the sky, Frost woke from the dream.  She jerked her head up and looked around.-  "Stupid dream."  -She mumbled then rolled her eyes.  -The young female crawled out of the box and stretched the stiffness from her long legs.  She yawned and a loud snap from her jaws filled the air.  She sighed and ran back to the beach.  Frost adored the white, sandy beaches of San Diego.  She sit down on the beach and gazed at the moon.-

Grace whimpered from a dream of her past. She woke up with a snarl. She looked around as no one was there she stood and stretched. She jogged out of the garage and down the warm road. She climbed onto a large garbage thingy (forgot what their called) and looked at the moon. She raised her head and howled hearing other dogs in the houses begin to bark. She lowered her head and sighed

Grace sighed as the moon slowly was replaced with the bright sun. She stood and hopped down to the road and began to jog towards the beach.

-The German Shepherd perked her ears.  Yes, she was beaten, but she wasn't deaf.  She heard the howl loud and clear.  Then pawprints.  She turned to see the husky walking down the beach.  Frost stood up and thought.-  'Is she always folowing me?'  -She disappeared behind a hill, peering out from behind, only when the husky wasn't looking.  The wind was blowing her scent to the northeast, just to the left of Grace.-  'Maybe she won't catch a slight sniff.'

Grace turned heading down the beach where people rarely went. She hopped onto the ridged black rocks sprayed with salt water. She made her way around them and kept jogging down the beach.

Grace stopped jogging on the beach as she perked her ears.She listened to a small voice coming from under the near-by board walks. She made her way over there and sniffed it before crawling under it. `Hello?` she asked a little scared

Grace whimpered seeing the pup. She grabbed it by the scruff she felt it curl up into a ball as a natural instinct when being carried like that. She jogged down the board walk and found the garage. She placed the puppy on an old rug and curled around it. She hummed for the pup until she herself drifted off.

"You know what, I don't need him.  What was one thing he ever did to me that was good."  -Frost stood up and shook her head.  She walked back up to the streets, easily dodging the few monsters that were on the roads.  But instead of walking back to the large box, she walked alongside the houses.  She peered inside at some of the dogs that lived there.  Some where curled up in a basket, some on the couch, and they had plentiful food.  The German Shepherd sighed and continued on down the sidewalk.  She scented the husky from earlier, along with a pup, but she didn't go to see what pup.  Instead, she turned around and walked slowly back to the cardboard box and curled up in it until morning came.-

Arisa wondered on the streets until some man picked her up and took her home. He trained her to be a fighting dog, even though she tried to get out of those arenas and not fight. She would always get beaten by him so she ran away. She had 1 more abusing owner, so she decided, No more pet life.

Arisa sat on the beach, her tail absently thumping against the sand. Her brown-white fur blew in perfect sync with the wind, making her blue (just making her eyes be blue) eyes sparkle. Her stomach growled from the lack of food, and wished she was back with her first owner. "W-why am I a stray in the first place..." she mumbled sadly to herself.

History: Her mother and father were taken to the pound when she was born but she wasn't found. Her and her siblings were taken with her parents and she was hiding under cardboard. She has yet to be found which will equal a time skip to 2 weeks.

-As the morning sun peeked through the hole of the cardboard box, Frost crawled out and stretched.  She walked to the end of the alley and sit, waiting for the humans.  After waiting for quite a while, the crowds got larger.  Frost sighed and sat in a begging position, staring the humans in the eye with her puppy dog eyes.  As the humans dropped the food, she wagged her tail and wolfed it down.  When Frost had her fill, she smiled and walked down to the beach.-  "It's about time for my daily bath."  -When her paws hit the sand, she tore towards the water, her paws flinging sand up behind her.  Her tongue hung out of her mouth and her tail was held high.  She smiled and she pounced in the water.  As she was swimming around in the water, cries for help entered her ears.  She turned to see a small boy, who had swam out too far, drowning.  She gasped and paddled to the boy, who clung to her neck.  She gasped for air as she pulled the boy back to shore.  Soon, she was crowded by people, being petted every time she turned around.  She looked at the boy and licked his face, then turned and walked back in the water.-  "Ahh kids."  -She shook her head and barked.-

Arisa then saw Frost, who was in the water. The collie decided to try to be friends with her, so she paded to her, trying to avoid a small child trying to pet her to death. She then broke into a slow jog, quickly near Frost. The dog cleared her throat quietly and barked, "Hi. Im Arisa, and sorry to bother you...i was just wondering if we could be...friends?" She bent down to the water and lapped some up, while waiting for Frost's answer.

Arisa then laughed. "I know, i know. My body is fine with it after wat i've been through long ago..." She then showed her a scar on her left shoulder, hidden by her thick fur. "Stupid humans.." The collie then sat down, her blue eyes staring across the water.

The young pup laid under cardboard and newspaper soaked from rain and filth. She shivered under the cold soggy alley rubble and whimpered here and there.
(Can't do much until she is older but she can't do that till she is found.)

-As Frost was talking to Arisa, she nodded for her to follow her.  The food she had eat earlier was gone and her stomach was growling again.  She dodged the monsters on the roads and headed for the alleys.  The sound of a crashing trash can fills the air.  She nosed through the trash.-  "Ehh, you want a half a pizza or a pack of spoiled hot dogs?"  -She turned to Arisa and dropped the box of pizza and pack of hot dogs.  She froze.-  "Shh."  -Her ears swiveled around.  She pin-pointed to where the sounds came from and walked over to a cardboard box.  She peeked in to see a pup.  She looked around for its mother and sniffed around.-  "The scent is stale.  This poor pup was abandoned."  -Frost carefully picked up the pup and carried her to the dryer box that Frost had slept in overnight last night.  She set down the pup and ran back and picked up the food, bringing it back and setting it down beside them.  Frost curled up around the pup and licked it clean.-  "I'll take care of you."  -She whispered.-

Grace raised an eyebrow `Kid, you ain't got it so hard trust me` she said as the wind began to blow. It tossed around her soft ,thin, fluffy fur showing her many scars.

((no, shes got it hard, she has lots on infected wounds, some are hidden, and most of her scars are hidden))

As the breeze rippled through her fur, more infected wounds and hidden scars were visible. She whined in pain, she was ready to give up on life. A small tear trickled down her cheek, "Help..... please....."

Grace stood staring at the pup. She sighed `Ima regret this` she muttered as she walked over to the pup and grabbed her by the scruff and began carrying her to the beach. She jogged to the water and set the pup in it. `Stand still it will burn but it will help` she said

History: When Aria was a young puppy, her owners house burnt down. There was no hope, but her owners friend, who lived in California, offered to let them stay there. But one unfortunate night, when a pizza van passed by the house she lived in, Aria ran but got lost, and couldn't find her way back to her home. She had been lost from her owner since.

(OOC: I'll start roleplaying if thats OK. Well, I mean if I'm accepted then this is official :3)

Aria ran in the direction she thought her home was. But there was one problem. It wasn't there. She sat down in a damp alley and whined. She was hungry, and there was nothing at all to eat. She looked in bins, and found a packet of Kentucky fried chicken. There was about a quarter of the packet left, though. But Aria ate every last crumb of it.
