Title: XDirect Cabnet files?

I just got a new laptop and I tried to download Feralheart on it but DirectX wont download. Do I need it? It keeps saying something about Cabnet files...

Anyone? Please help.. I have FH+ at the moment but if I want to go on Multiplayer I would have to switch to the regular FH. Well, to go into multiplayer without being in a black abyss... I Have got the regular FH working ONCE some how but then I sort of messed it up....

Erm.. I'm not so sure about the DirectX thing. what kind of laptop have you got? Mine just came with it, I think...

You should install FH on your computer with the "game installer" and not the patcher if possible. If I remember correctly the game installer checks the directX after you installed the game, and if you need an update it will run one for you. If you do this however and encounter this issue, then you should be able to get an update of DirectX via the internet.

And for black maps without anything in it, it's because you are inside a map you do not have, many users get this that swaps between the regular FH and FH+ since your character is still in the map from the other version.

Just choose reset home, and then go home in the feather menu.
